Like a less gourmand and updated Givenchy Pi. Spray it on, wait 5-10 seconds and then put your nose to the most well blended sweet, spicy and woody scent that evolves to an ever so slightly powdery sophisticated masterpiece. Can't stop smelling my wrist when wearing it. Sillage is moderate but people will still get whiffs when you walk by...I know because I've gotten compliments. Longevity is around 6-8 hours. Fine classic french perfumery at it's best...a true hidden gem.

Only paid $18 for my bottle and for that price, you can't get much better. Very likable spicy, slightly sweet, cozy, gentle fragrance. It's quite simple but very easy to wear and comforting for those autumn nights.

Don't ask why or how, but this opens as a more socially acceptable Secretions Magnifiques. Maybe the tonka and cinnamon are from particularly unusual extractions or distillations, but somehow, without any of the florals SM has, the two fragrances exist as an allegory until Initial dries down. But, until it does, it is a remarkably similar -even almost identical - floral note with a distinctly salivary nuance. Not at all unpleasant, lacking the seminal, bloodiness of SM. But the analog remains potent until it dries down. Once that dry down happens, you get all the listed notes. The spiciness of the cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom. The fresh, acidic bite of the bergamot . The mildly vanillic, buttery toffee funk of the tonka, and a cedar that is more fresh cut than most. A men's scent I'd EASILY recommend to women. I find female scents working well as unisex all the time, but this is a truly unisex male fragrance.

I really enjoy this scent. I left my bottle to rest a while because it was weak at first use, and with a little time it came to life a lot more. It reminds me a LOT of Givenchy Pi. Even though there’s no benzoin it sure smells like it has it. And those citrusy notes in Pi are also found here too. So overall it feels really similar, but just not as loud as Pi. A bit softer, more powdery. I also found the same with my bottle of Pi too. First use it was really weak and short lived. But I left that one a while too and wow did it come to life! I think because this is a bit softer it will be better in warmer weather, say spring or autumn to help boost it a bit more. Its still pretty good in my current winter wearing but will come back and add comments again after trying again in spring.

What a strange scent,i can feel the uninspiring wish to create it in the evolution of this one.Reminds me of danish biscuits.

You have *really* got to like cinnamon for this one! The opening is really powerful cinnamon, and what i perceive as this waxy perfumyness to it. Way too much for me. It settles down, but this synthetic, unpleasant cinnamon, pervades the entire composition. It's an ok, bordering on dislike for me. The cinnamon reminds me very much of Tempete d'Automne by Jaques Fath.
