Parfum de Femme

A compliment-getter. Someone told me it reminded them of a Lancome fragrance, and I wonder if she meant La Vie Est Belle. Idk, because I haven't tried La Vie Est Belle, but looks like others find a resemblance. But here we have a lot of bergamot in the opening. Patchouli and sandalwood ride upwards on the bergamot. Freesia to me is kind of sugary. Middle notes are very blended, hard for me to pick out, but I do read the iris faintly--not as prominent as in Tocade, which others have listed as a 'reminds me of'. Overall Parfum de Femme is very warm, with the vanilla, very strong and long-lasting, and there is a "thick" character, if you will, offset by the bergamot. Sillage is very close, almost too close. Feels like a cologne, really, but it is also heavy, thick and sweet. Edit again: Another day wearing this perfume. Loving the sour note of the bergamot. The florals along with the bright bergamot and the sweeter apple note are so delicious. I really enjoy the complexity, although I can see why some are turned off by the heavy, sweet aspects. You have to be in the mood for something amber-sweet. I bought blindly from an online discounter, as it was available and affordable.

I tryed this one yesterday while shopping around. It was love at first sniff. I thinks it`s totally awesome! I`m looking foward to buy it.. But it`s quite expensive here (in argentina we have extra taxes for those products that are foreing). I tryed it on my skin, it lasted more than 7 hours (i must admit perfums don`t last much on me unleast they very good ones). it suited me perfectly, it smelled so right, i even wanted to bite me and eat those sweet apples i was smeling. I definitely recomend this one. My mother is abroad right now, so i hope she buys it for me!!!..

Very much along the lines of Amarige Mariage and Desnuda....but, nevertheless I was not disappointed, because i really enjoy this type of scent. Montana is the most subtle of the three and the least spicy ( or not spicy at all) which makes it wearable during warmer months. I try to approach each fragrance individually, because originality is such a relative notion....it's just a matter of how early or late a certain perfume is added to your collection. My final verdict is I like it!

This is a beautiful vanilla fragrance without the super sweetness of the currently popular perfumes. A little similar to Jessica Simpson Fancy, but not as sweet and more similar to Rochas Tocade 2013 but a little sweeter. At first I could smell the ripe apples and after a while the amber, vanilla and sandlewood. It's a very beautiful warm vanilla perfume with a touch of spice. I absolutely LOVE it!!!

When I first had a whiff of this fragrance I immediately thought of a floral fruity gourmand, not an oriental floral. If you love vanilla, then you'll love this one! It's with you from beginning to end. I swear I also detected the smell of almonds as well. It's a lovely sweet, musky vanilla aroma that has good staying power.

Just sampled this for a full day wear yesterday. I will just echo the other reviews below - it is very pretty, very feminine ("Parfum de Femme"!) and yes - it's very sweet. I would describe it as a youthful, "rich" floral. It's a little too sweet and rich for me. Reviewers below describe a "thick" kind of smell - I think I'm picking up the same thing but my word for that is a "richness", like you would describe a buttercream icing. But not a gourmand richness - a somehow florally vanillic richness. I really enjoyed the opening, but those first two hours of wear were the place where I decided this fragrance is a step or two over my sweetness limit. But - there are lots of really popular fragrances like that for me! It may be perfect for you, so if you love sweetness, don't let my perspective deter you! I ordered a carded sample but full bottles are readily available at online discounters for a fantastic price. A nice, budget-friendly winter floral if you crave florals this time of year. And if you're old like me, there is pleasure in the Claude Montana brand for nostalgia's sake. I really do like it for the right person, and think it would be lovely on a beautiful young woman, breezing down the sidewalk on a chilly day, leaving a magical ultra-feminine, floral sweetness in her wake.

It is true, that this perfume is a mixture of Angel and La Vie est Belle. The performance is not very good, but if I overspray, especially on fabrics, I can enjoy the smell for quite a while. Sillage is quite intimate but pleasant. I have to test it more, as it arrived just a few days ago.

Juice color is what you would expect this to smell. It's strong. On my wrist, it aligns to the Rochas perfumes and Van Cleef with the similarity of Casmir's strong vanilla. It will definitely stick on your scarf. Strong, beautiful save it for those low voice, small table dinners.

At application the bergamot gave the fragrance a masculine feel for about 10 seconds. Then came the sweet florals. Enjoyed the woods in the drydown. Very much TM Angel like. Nice but I don't think overly original.

I have had this scent for a couple of years, time to write a little review. This is a dense, honeyed scent. If you liked Angel Liqueur or any version of Angel prior to the reformulations you will love this scent. For a few minutes it smells a little bit similar to La Vie Est Belle but it morphs into a true TM Angel dupe, and one that has a very chewy patch and caramel combo. I am on the fence about it. I truly hate LVEB, and Angel is not a perfume I like too much (I like a few flankers like the Violette or rose versions) after 30 minutes it is mostly a very sweet sandalwood-patchouli scent with moderate sillage, I can't perceive any floral notes. Very good quality, it doesn't smell cheap but the price is very reasonable online.

I got a very cheap sample. It smells like a fresh incense chypre. I hate incense but if I liked it this perfume is one of the freshest. Just not my thing it makes me sick. But this is pleasant for that genre.

I can relate to the review below that describes Montana pour femme as “thick”. This is a very apt description and I would add syrupy to the adjectives as well. Not a fan.
