Tested in Malaysia, tropical weather. This smells like expensive but very sweet red currant jam, like red currant jam sweetened with sugar cane syrup, even a bit like honey. There is a bit of pink pepper there but not much. The rendition by Signorina is better in my opinion. I don't smell any bay leaf.The rose and lotus is very very muted at the background. Like just growing outside the window, not in vicinity. The sweet red currant is very present even until dry down. Amber and musk warms it a little at the back. Does not smell cheap. Very feminine. You might like this if you like very sweet scents. It is not offensive. Not the femme fatale type scent. Rather yummy. Follow-up 22/1/2021: Silage is poor on me. It stays close to skin after maybe the first 20 minutes. Funny as the first try it felt like it would have good silage It is not possible for me to over spray on this. By the looks of it, suitable for wearing to work as it is not offensive. Compare to the likes of baccarat rouge 540, this is less sweet. I will not repurchase this.

It performed very well on my skin, contrary to many reviews that say it has low longevity; this was not the case for me. It projected for 1 hour and lasted for about 8 hours. This perfume is truly elegant.

I can see a strong, confident woman wearing this beauty. Spectacular sillage and longevity! Mont Blanc is a very understated house that offers high quality and unique fragrances. I just wish I had discovered it earlier.
