Legend Eau de Parfum

This is a really great buy, especially in EDP version. I tried to OG on a free sample and really liked it and saw this one on a really good deal for 60ml. This smells the same, but better than the EDT - less screechy and more refined. It's the exact right balance of sweetness, fruits and citrus with what I assume is the bergamot and it's classy masculine. It's hard to imagine anyone not liking the smell and if I was going to say have 5 or 6 fragrances, have something like this as a very cheap budget quality do it all daily driver that would work in any situation you'd need it for. Yes there's better more interesting signature scents, yes more speciality occasion options, but this is just in the safe spray and enjoy category. I get zero leather even after several hours, which is great because leather notes seem to react badly on me. This is like Ralph Club - probably overlooked because it's not the on trend middle eastern banger with an inexplicably difficult name and wild bottle - don't get me wrong, they are also are fantastic options, - but I have this and Ralf club in my ultra pleasant smelling very versatile section. The other versions in the line are very different. I've not got the white one - but people love that. I tried the red one - fine but uninspiring and rather ordinary, a tester of what I think was Platinum - really horrid on me - like stale morning after curry and flat sprite, so I imagine the range isn't just subtle twists on the same scent. Buy this if you want to smell good any place any time and don't want to spend allot of money.

I'm a gay guy, and I am totally approaching this fragrance as such. I'll get to why this matters. I have had a snobby aversion to "basic" (often, read: blue) masculine fragrances for most of my conscious memory since childhood. Whether it was my discomfort with smelling like my dad, the reminder of bad memories in high school gym class, or just feelings of inadequacy that have left me feeling like I couldn't embody these scents... I stayed far away. Well, I'm in my mid 20s now, after 4 years of more serious perfume sniffing as a hobby, I find myself in need of something basic. Let's face it. Smelling like a plain dudebro is just plain sexy sometimes; nothing quite compares to it. Montblanc Legend EDP is that for an awesome price (I paid $30 for 100mL), without any pretentiousness, without any douchebaggery. It's irresistibly familiar. This refreshes like my Harry's shaving products. This is the ex-boyfriend's black tee in a bottle. This is a locker room where only good memories happen. This filled the hole in my scent wardrobe, and expect it to continue to fill holes. I'm ready for the gym, the club, and the places you go after the club. BTW: Anyone who says this smells like Axe hasn't smelled enough good stuff out there.

After previously owning the EDT, Red, and Spirit, I feel as if this one is the best in the line. It obviously takes some inspiration from AF Fierce and PDM Perceval, but at the end of the day, this scent DNA just wins with the masses. Compared to the edt, this flanker is much deeper, and the synthetic scratchiness on the top is now rounded out and feels warmer. This is overall, a more mature take on the sweeter edt. For me, the edp performs much better than the original edt as well. I am easily clocking 8-10 hours when I wear this to work or during a weekend afternoon out. I could see this work for a night out as well, but for my taste, I keep this in my day-time and work rotation. I got a 50ml for about $30/$35 dollars online, and I would say this is an absolute steal at that price. I've seen this for sale at Ross for around $45/$50 which is still a justifiable price to pay if you don't want to order online and wait for it in the mail. If you already have AF Fierce or Percival, then don't bother buying this, as it will be extremely redundant to have this in addition to either one of those. Otherwise, don't buy the edt, just spend a few bucks more and get the edp!

I've had a sample of this for some time and also have a large decant of Percival. Personally, I love both scents. I've smelled them over and over, one at a time and side by side over quite some time. They are definitely similar but quite different at the same time. Percival has a HUGE FRUITY punch that doesn't exist in Legend. With all that said, it might become my go to dumb reach as a signature daily scent. I know about the common reviews now a days of people hating on this for multiple reasons but you know what? Who gives a sh*t what they think. Most people don't even wear or know of any fragrances in the first place. It's just the fragrance snobs yapping and hating on all the popular frags. Anyways, this scent is definitely a very generic masculine shower gel type of scent but it's so nice and pleasant that you simple can't go wrong. Got a 50ml on the way as of yesterday (about damn time). 9/10 and an easy blind buy. -Update. So happy to finally have a 50ml for a dumb reach for everyday. Just such an easy scent to rock at any occasion. Lovely fresh leathery goodness. Simply can't go wrong.

I'm actually thoroughly satisfied with this. The hint of sweetness from the jasmine and magnolia, pushing up through the woody base is really nice. Bought another bottle to gift to my son for his first (from me) fragrance due to the general likable nature and seasonal versatility. Oddly enough, I had a fragrance very similar to this when I was in high school, but didnt care too much for it then. It wasnt Fierce... I wish I could remember the name. Anyway, this is either better or I just enjoy the scent profile a bit more now. Ironic, given that many people claim to have, 'outgrown,' it. While it is a bit basic, I still really enjoy it for what it is and accomplishes. Extremely versatile, smells great, mass-appealing, masculine, good quality, VERY affordable (at discounters -- dont pay retail), good performance due to EDP concentration. Bonus: For me, the bottle design and cap are very attractive. Elegant simplicity, I love.

Woody, clean, slightly floral and has a bit of sweetness to make it more enjoyable. It is much less sweet than EDT but not too woody or a dark scent. It is not a blue scent either, no. It is very balanced and truly enjoyable to wear from the very beggining to the end. It is priced well, 60 usd for a whole 100ml bottle is truly worth it. It smells close to Fierce, Percival and legend EDT, but is is different from all of them. This is dryer and more woody than fierce, much less sweet than the EDT Legend and much thicker than Percival. The performance parameters are STRONG, making it also a good choice as a winter office scent. Great perfume, great brand, great line. The best Legend for me, but if you are younger or a fan of sweetness EDT is tad a bit better.

I’m not usually drawn to warm, woody scents—but this one caught me off guard in the best way. Legend Eau de Parfum opens with a burst of fresh citrus that immediately pulled me in. From there, it transitions into something deeper, richer, and undeniably sophisticated. It really comes into its own on a cold evening, where the warmth and depth of the dry-down shine. It’s smooth, sexy, and effortlessly refined. The bottle is sleek and seductive, perfectly matching the fragrance inside. As for its appeal—let’s just say the DNA of this one definitely turns heads, especially with the ladies. And how can that be a bad thing? Exactly—it isn’t.

@jaire.byers said everything I would’ve already, so I’ll keep this as simple as I can without restating his opinions: Legend EDP is mass-appealing, easy to wear, gets compliments, has fantastic performance, and does everything you’d want a “dumb reach” easy wear to do. I will echo jaire.byers and say that sometimes smelling like a slightly generic dude-bro is fine, and even though I try to wear scents that are more “interesting”, I still come back to Legend EDP. I would choose this over any blue fragrance, even the ones I enjoy. Strong 9/10, and there’ll always be a bottle on my shelf.

Really good stuff. While the edt is a 1/1 clone of Fierce with terrible performance, the edp goes in another direction. This, to me, is closer to Platinum Egoiste. Also performs really well, whereas the edt does NOT!! Don’t listen to people that say the modern Abercrombie Fierce doesn’t perform. If you want Fierce then simply buy the original from either the a&f site or fragrancenet. There are a ton of fakes out there that smell 100% dead on but last only 30 minutes. This stuff is great though and stands on it’s own. Definitely recommend!! Backup bottle worthy.

An easy compliment getting scent. My wife and I recently went to the mall to test scents. My wife immediately liked this but we decided to try many other scents. Although we found many others we liked, she still kept coming back to legend edp. Is it completely unique? No there's plenty of more unique scents. But not always do you want unique. Sometimes you want a great scent thats versatile enough to wear to work then to date night, and everywhere in between. That lasts and is still intriguing enough that people think you smell great no matter occasion.

This is a great fragrance with versatility. People say it is similar to PDM Percival and it is very close, however I do pick up a subtle touch of leather and the quality of the ingredients as you would expect for the price point aren't as good as Percival of course, but I’m definitely not complaining . I use this one mostly for the office and while it is strong people tend to love this fragrance. I definitely recommend it especially for those who want a fresh, affordable, fragrance . It definitely is an attention grabber and has great performance. 8/10

This is really good, very elegant, clean fresh linen. The violet leaf gives it both of a green touch but together with the bergamot it becomes a bit Mint-adjacent, it has a similar effect. Clean folded laundry in the opening and mid. The base is a fairly clean slightly sweet moss, masculine but not machismo. Just very very nice, fairly good projection but becomes more of a skin scent after a while, above average longevity I would say. Perfect fragrance for whenever you don't wanna make any strong statement but just hang out and chill.

Hyper masculine violet-ozonic with a ton of woods and moss. I haven't smelled Fierce before but this smells exactly like the Abercrombie and Fitch outlet at the mall, so I'm guessing this is very similar to Fierce. Performance is above average. I am generally pretty secure in my looks, but I feel like I have to be WAY more attractive to wear this, like the guy on the Fierce bottle, so this feels less versatile (though all-season capable) owing to me feeling like I need to get shredded before I have the right to wear it.

he perfume starts with citrus and violet leaves notes, which remind me of a scent called Joop! Wow! Fresh that I used to have. The fresh and clean violet note makes it easy for a man to wear. As the initial citrus and floral scent settles down, woody and slightly leathery notes emerge with a pleasant, musky aroma. This fragrance has a classic masculine scent which I enjoy because it brings me back to my high school years. It's reminiscent of Abercrombie & Fitch's Fierce, but it lasts longer on my skin, about 8 hours.

Can’t explain why I love this so much. Starts off potent and violet shines through but it’s so familiar the scent is so masculine. It feels like you’ve used it before. Everyone will like it even the folks who don’t like colognes. Spray it generously don’t be shy as after about 20-30 mins projection dies down. I like to do the crooks of the arms and neck. I love it. I find my self reapplying as I come home. Wife loves it too and she hate colognes. It’s a cheapie too can get it for 35-40 a bottle.

Nice and clean on application with a woody / leathery dry down. Overall, the balance between the two works nicely and is not overpowering. Very versatile, yet I wear for more informal occasions like going to the gym or running errands. Tonight, I reached for it after my soccer game because I wanted to smell clean and feel relaxed after I showered. With the above noted, and that I live a more informal lifestyle, it is always a consideration for me when choosing a cologne on my shelf.

Bought this on xmas day last year, as a student with 0 fragrance knowledge i have to say it surprised me earnestly, like this is how a man i imagined smells like, longevity is fine but it somehow turns out to a smell of barbecue food when i take a whiff of my hoodie after 3 days applying it. If u love bbq smell ur gonna love but for me, it's a nono. So I guess im going to spray it only on skin rather than believing the 'eternal longevity on clothes' by some influencer

I have never owned AF Fierce, but once smelling Legend EDP, it did remind of the A&F stores in the mall. With that being said, this smells fantastic. Its a clean, masculine scent which is suitable for any time and any occasion. Longevity is great for me. I sprayed twice on the neck at 6:30am before work and I could still smell it on myself very easily that night after dinner. I picked this up for $39 shipped which makes it an unbelievable value.

Every time I wear it, I like it a bit more. It's pleasantly dewy with a fresh watery feel thanks to the white floral note... it's still very manly even with the white floral You might think it's not 'wow' average cologne that is missing something just like I did when I first bought it but over time, I realized that it's supposed to be basic, and sometimes that's exactly what I need... It's basic in a very good way... 9/10 in it's category

Very smooth violet notes with smooth oakmoss and sweet leather in the background, just very smooth and so masculine. Still has that Abercrombie & Fithch Fierce DNA but this one is more mature and formal. It's quite versatile although i would not wear this one on high heat summer days as it could be a bit overwhelming. Overall very smooth masculine and sexy fresh/formal fragrance that is priced well and has good performance. 9/10
