Legend Elixir

I have it for few days now. Just open the box and... too early to make a proper review but I will say that it reminds me of... YSL MYSLF and Absolu a bit. Beautiful bottle, I will come back with a full review. There is one Y channel that had it before me :) novel perfume worth checking out! Edit: Excellent! The best from the series, at least to me. Very modern, very youthful and overall happy-party like vibes. Can't see myself wearing this at the office as it is sweet in the Halloween Man X side and fruity... Is like Halloween Man X, something behind it but more clean and fruity, with a MYSLF Absolu 20%... candy, bubblegum, minty and pretty fresh. Excellent choice for under 30s or casual wear for everyone. No need to overspray as it is strong with a GREAT PROJECTION! You will be felt and because it's a clean vibe, on the sweet side, you will get compliments. Excellent Montblanc, great sillage, great longevity (got 12+ hrs, on clothes more) I will repurchase as it is... well well done!!!

Legend Elixir Montblanc Parfum. Also handy as a mirror ;) Multisex scent with striking similarities to MYSLF L’Absolu Yves Saint Laurent. That smooth creamy vanilla spice and floral vibe. Great performance and presentation. Any season day or night. Age 18+ Gorgeous. Safe blind buy if you like the YSL. 8/10.

Really digging this. You get the the EDT with Azzaro vibes added in. Overall a great frag that is yes mass appealing, but is that a bad thing? Give it whirl

Finally found this to try in a store. Another Legend flanker that is decent but not exceptional, just like the Red and Blue flankers. The 'elixir' moniker will surely have people expecting something quite heavy and certainly sweet. Well it does have the latter but it isn't a heavy fragrance. It's more in the vein of YSL Mslf, Prada Paradigme, Ralph's club and some of the Valentino Born in Roma line. Mass appealing modern sweet (but not sickly sweet) scent that can be worn year round, bar perhaps high heat. I don't detect much of the original Legend DNA, nor much iris (thankfully). Not bad at all but nothing to make it stand out apart from the shiny chrome bottle. Montblanc, please bring back Legend Intense!

Smells identical to gissada platinum, good for dates but I’m talking about date number 10, you already have the girl and now you want safe cozy boyfriend energy, this is perfect for creating a sense of familiarity and a memorable smell, wouldn’t recommend for first dates, also could be used for family winter events or dinners, I would say this is on the younger side, I don’t reccomend for 30 and above there is way better scents for that, (ysl myself le parfum, dolce and gabbana the one EDP, mr Sam, angels share), this is in that range but an affordable version for young guys

Not bad, but for some reason, I’m getting a little bit of bubblegum accord, but it’s like a masculine version which I don’t really like but don’t necessarily hate either. The blend of materials is really good. It’s bright and warm almost like it has a soft minty glow.

smells pretty good imho. Nice flanker to the others. Noticeable iris note that can be off puttin to some. Works both day and night. Might be a bit cloying in high heat.

This is a very confusing fragrance. First I sprayed on paper and it reminded me a lot of MYSLF L'Absolu with some bubblegum sweetness. So I wanted to test on skin aswell as I like the MYSLF DNA, big mistake turns out. On skin the MYSLF facets started fading rather fast and after about 30 mins, this started reminding me of Prada Paradigme, but sweetness was turned up A LOT. It felt like it was a Rabanne fragrance. It was unbearably sweet for a 23 C Istanbul day. The slight fresh woody backbone is there, which is almost the only hint from the original Legend's DNA you'd get from this, but it's really not prominent. I can somewhat smell the iris here too I believe, but maybe my brain is searching for it. Prada Paradigme is the best comparison I have for this fragrance, imagine Paradigme but heavier and sweeter, not darker. Overall this strays far too much from the original DNA to the point of almost being unrecognizable, which hurts as a big fan of the Legend Edp. Stick to colder time of the year if you want to wear this. I want to give this one a benefit of the doubt and will revisit sometime in the future, but this was disappointing to me.

Sweet caramel, spicy metallic lavender, lots of tonka, patchouli and "lipsticky" iris. Further notes of; Woods, soft leather and tobacco, something like powdery rose, maybe liquorice? Cinnamon didn't appear until after a few hours on my skin. Warm-spicy sums it up well. Performance is great, very loud projection, (especially the iris note,) and lasts on skin until the following day. Youthful scent best for guys 20-40 (ish.) Best for colder climes, fine for going out too. Nice if not unique, I think scent wise it suits the bottle.

I’ve had it a month. I have most other Montblanc fragrances for men but I’d say this one is for 18-25. I feel the same about Valentino BIR to be honest, too much like One Million for me, which I had twenty years ago. It doesn’t really fit with any other Montblanc Legend category, it’s out on a limb. I’ll gradually get through it but I don’t particularly like it. It’s a club scent really. But the sillage is insane, if this is your thing. It’s like none of the fragrances in the “smells like” section. Ignore that.

Descriptions or announced notes doesn’t make sense (also in general but especially for this one). It’s between the Legend EdT’s shower gel feel and sweet fruity bubble gum. Has lot’s of that smoky fruit mix feel, probably due to high dose of Ethyl Maltol like compounds, piercing up close. There is a bit of freshness as well on air, like green peppermints but not obvious. There are some spices as well, red in color but it’s not a spicy fragrance.

opening and middle is like afnan9pm (i dont like because cheap sharp artificial), drydown is better more vanilla base... ok.... edit: I don't like it. it smells like someone who smokes and drinks, eats a garlic, and then uses chewing gum and perfume..... repulsive

Just sprayed my wrist while at a department store, but this is blowing me away. It somehow smells like a lot of the fragrances listed in the ‘smells like’ section, but it blends them all together in a beautiful way. I’m getting hints of the best parts of Halloween man X, TMW parfum, coach platinum, and MYSLF all together with the richness of Gucci guilty elixir. I’m not a fan of the legend dna, and I guess this doesn’t have much in it that I can detect. But this is really nice

Got a sample the other day (siriussamples.com if you’re in the UK) and I rock with it. Fresh in the opening but that aromatic, vanilla Iris sweetness combination in the drydown is VERY interesting. At least to my nose. Has it been done before? Maybe 🤷🏾♂️ Definitely Worth getting a sample for sure

Tried this today, actually really like it and ended up buying it as a Father’s Day gift I’m going to get myself a bottle too when it goes on sale. This might be the best one yet from the legend series. It’s almost like Legend intense and Le Male Elixir morphed into 1

Opening is very similar to Myslf Absolu. Then it dries down to a boring woody scent. Get Myslf, not this.

Sometimes is too slow, for sure, and needs to be reformed, for sure
