this was a real lucky blind buy for me, but it won't be for most people. it goes on very ozonic, almost like gasoline, dries down to a sweet leather. this definitely leans masculine to me, like a kind of sleazy alternative man whos probably smoking a cig, which is great for me lol. very unique, not universally enjoyable, but I love it

I went into a makeup store and bought this on a day where I convinced myself that if I didn't start wearing perfume I would just smell like blood and meat because that's what bodies are made of and everything in my house is fragrance free. Tried wearing it to work and felt like a stinky whore so I stuck the bottle in my sock drawer and forgot about it. A few months later I pulled it out and started spraying it in my bag and on my hoodie for when I go out at night in an uber to stick my head in a kick bin under a bridge. Reading the other reviews, I guess that's what it's for. Don't wear this to work.

I really don't get any of the fruity/flower notes on my skin. For me, it really smells like lit incense and tonka bean. It reminded me heavily of my ex-girlfriend's 40 y/o pagan mother who smoked in the apartment. Its not necessarily a bad scent, and I don't get any of the "gasoline" scent others complain about, but I think you have to be a particular kind of person to pull this off. 7/10 probably

The notes on this fragrance are outside of my typical wheelhouse... I would usually see Leather & Patchouli listed and steer clear. There's something in the opening that immediately reminds me of a hospital or a doctor's waiting room... But once that has passed there's a soft sweetness, mixed with a lot of leather.

Awesome fragrance, at least in oil form. Unlike alot of other frags in this profile, Punkstar soft with low to moderate projection. The fresh apple and smoky leather combo is perfectly balanced and the scent layers wonderfully with other semi-sweet, woody scents.

This smells like walking past a dude with lightly sprayed axe, mixed with cigarette/pot smoke. Slightly sweet and smoky....8/10 It’s super unique but, it leans more male to me.

Punk Star is a soft but distinct presence of oud, leather, and smoke. There's some rose petals laced in there. Reminds me of Whispers of Truth Noir from House of Sillage .

it’s like if you poured gasoline over the teenage fruity-florals of the 2000s: think VS’s love spell and B&BW’s japanese cherry blossom. the apple accord is sprinkled with cinnamon during the dry down. this is not a gourmand by any measure, though.

Fascinating. I do not like it whatsoever but it’s fascinating. It’s like if you’re waiting outside a sketchy gas station for your uber driver after a concert or rave where a bunch of girls’ body sprays rubbed off on you. I think this needs maceration or something because the store tester smelled super fruity and fun which is why I bought a sample online, however this sample is just...so intensely of exhaust fumes. I think it’s the leather note mixed with the incense. Although I think I could spray this in my car or something; that might make things interesting.

Oh no. I hate it. It feels like spying on an awkward teen party. Axe body spray and fruit-scented body glitter blending together. The leather is really artificial and syrupy, and the gasoline/exhaust vibe mentioned in other reviews is present and UNpleasant. Just awful.

hell ya - this is kinda sleazy and grungy, but also fresh and a little tart. The apple and leather are the dominant notes to me, with the rose, incense, and raspberry mixing in later. Something I'd wear to a party or a concert (or the club if i'd literally ever been in a club). Just somewhere where there's already cigarette smoke in the air to help tamper the smokey leathery gasoline edge that might be too much (for me) in more intimate settings. The more I smell it, the more it smells like the handbag and shoe section of a fancy department store - the leather mixing with nondescript fruity perfumes. I know that is basically the opposite of sleazy or grungy, but I feel like perfumes are a lot like clothes - and you can style them differently to give off different impressions.

Smells like a designer perfume leaked in a woman’s brand new handbag. Very leathery and sweet. Could be attractive on someone’s who’s got it going on... Unfortunately I don’t like leather notes and I’m not confident enough to rock this fml
