#1219 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is a myrrh scent, not really an oud scent, as oud is just a woody undernote here. The fir, myrrh and patchouli rule the air with this one. Definitely and most potently a green aromatic scent that smells like a conifer forest at midnight after a blazingly sunny day. You know, that smell of conifers oozing resin from the heat, whose cut wood makes for amazing campfire smells? This is note-for-note identical to Robert Piquet's "Oud" which goes for $160 for 100ml. You would need two of these for 100 ml and you'll pay $210. But I've seen some people complain the Piquet was reformulated a couple of years ago and is no longer as potent as it was. I don't know. I ran out of the Piquet during Covid, so I can't say. But I love this as I loved the Robert Piquet, so a happy blind buy for me. But if you are not a myrrh fan and hate an evergreen forest smell you will not appreciate this. SUPER potency. All day and into the night. It doesn't come off like Pine Sol like the wretched and despised Pinot Silvestre "Original", but still, you should go easy with this one. Cold weather wear. One spritz. Not for the carpool, but if you have an hour long commute as I often did, it'll be fine for the office by arrival, though it still will be noticed. For me these kinds of greens are very old school in a way I still appreciate. I still have Jacques Bogart's "Bogart", "One Man Show", "One Man Show Emerald Edition." And I only recently gave away my Versace "L'Homme", Antonio Puig "Quorum", and Oscar de La Renta "Pour Lui." I'd be sure your date likes incense scents before wearing this on a date. But this is one I'll wear for my own pleasure.

Had this. Sold it. It was a odd fragrance..That to this day I struggle to describe and I never enjoyed wearing and like most fragrances that fall into that category. It lasted ages. Almost forcing me to scrub it off the last time I wore it. On the positive side. It was very well blended and I felt it was bordering on medicinal overall. I could definitely pick up on the Saffron, Balsam Fir, Myrrh; and Agarwood (Oud) but if felt like it needed something else to keep it from being so linear. Maybe a white floral. A very tame one that would have made it much more wearable than it is.

It smells like rotting leaves on a damp forest floor. Edit - I changed my mind, this smells like an ear infection.
