Fiore di Portofino

A fragrance with the domination of mimosa, carnation, and geranium. Basil rules the top notes, and the base notes are ruled by vetiver. Citrus notes are present from the beginning to end. Very beautiful bottle, nice scent, acceptable longevity, but poor sillage. It should be used only in hot weather so that the sillage improves up to moderate level.

Uplifting, happy scent, with an amazing scent trail and enormous longevity.

Nice enough fragrance but the sillage is so poor that I don't think I would purchase it even if it was a cheapie. I just put 3 sprays (from a 2ml tester - so granted not huge sprays) on my body & 2 on my dress & can barely smell it on myself. I generally use one spray of fragrance with the exception of my PG Cadjmere.

It opens unisex with a nice dry vetiver and citrus, but very soon it turns into a very feminine floral scent. This is the fragrance that you'd want you sister to wear. It't not overly anything, but just the right amount of everything.

I think this scent is amazing. I ordered a full bottle after I finished my sample. This is a bright, uplifting spicy citric and floral scent. The heart of this creation is a mix of spicy carnations, iris and mimosa, the initial notes of neroli and orange linger for a decent amount of time on mi skin, basil and vetiver come and go, the drydown brings a beautiful amber note. The bottle is so elegant. It fits the scent very well. UPDATE: I got my bottle, and sprayed generously on my skin. I was not happy after 1-2 hours, it turned masculine on me. My husband said hey "did you spray Jovan Musk here?" Now he is the proud owner of the bottle.

Lemon basil at max. Within there are the mimosa, vetiver, and neroli. Big time carnations, chili, and geranium. No amber and no oranges. I can detect some cloves as well. Spicy citrus, and hot red floral. Fair.
