Oro

This is a unisex Balsamic Amber Aromatic fragrance, a reflective and tranquil incense-based offering from the Moresque Gold Collection. The entrance feels bright and medicinal with a touch of pleasant sweetness from Lily and Frangipani, definitely has a green feel to it from the notes of Artemisia and Angelica. The bright opening is engulfed by denser and darker central notes of Incense, Styrax, Labdanum and Myrrh followed by Musky notes. The balsamic drying by Myrrh is quite soft and very close to skin. Performance is great (7-8 hours) with soft to moderate sillage and projection. Perhaps Oro is comparable to Miller Harris Etui Noir and Jovoy La Liturgie des Heures.

An almost spiced balsamic amber. Nothing to dislike about it really. I like how it starts green.

Desert dust and camels...in a good way

• Balzamic, srong herbal - estragonic and artemisia amber. Myrrh, white musc and lily sweet. • Very specific, but wearable. • At the opening Oro makes me think even of a church incense note like in a perfumes, kind a La Liturgie des Heures of Jovoy.

i am surprised at how much i really like this: it starts green and bitter with tarragon and artemisisa and then keeps moving deeper and deeper into a dry, almost sheer, incense-tinged amber. i am happy to have this.
