Rand Rose

Another beauty from this line. Reminds me a bit of Coco Mademoiselle as this is a fruitchouli, my favourite genre. It starts like a honeyed light pink rose. The note of pineapple is giving it this effect. The rose is in the form of fresh petals. The patchouli, musk and oud still so subtle yet giving it depth. Very appealing start. Jasmine and iris join the rose and a bit of buttery ylang. This phase is amazing. Still some flashes of bergamot appear like a thunder through the flowers. It is a gentle creation with very elegant sillage that is summer-safe. But the scent like Regina di Fiori is a perfect all-year any occasion one. You can wear it to a date, to an office and to a wedding it is well blended and well-behaved. Very elegant, romantic. If you can afford it to just buy it and expect a wearable niche scent - this will deliver. The woods play a big role in this composition. An interesting counterpart for the flowers. The woods get stronger with time and venture into a lacquered wood realm à la Baccarat Rouge but a drop and start to overpower the flowers that fight for domination. The wafts I am catching after couple of hours again remind me of Coco Mademoiselle. But up close I still feel Baccarat's woods. They again won the domination which bothers me as I perceive them as masculine. After such a precious feminine start they do not fit. I prefer Regina di Fiori.

This perfume is a nice soft powdery rose. I like the opening where you get the sweetness and tartness of the pineapple and citruses. However, after it dries down, it loses its sparkle. The wood and Oud create a warmth, the iris gives it that powderiness, and there’s a slight muskiness to it. I’m sure for some wearers it will feel sensual, but I much preferred the brightness of the opening. It’s not a bad perfume, and the juice itself is very pretty, it just doesn’t feel memorable or special to me for the price.

I own La Tosca and this smells nothing like it to me. I bought 10ml of Rand Rose instead of a whole bottle bc I was afraid it would be too similar to La Tosca... It's not even close. This is a punchy, tart, bright rose that dries down to a more powdery soft rose with the tartness way in the background. It's pretty but not special. In the end I'm glad I only bought a decant. I much prefer Regina Di Fiori.

The feminine version of Lamar by Kajaal. A powdery pink rose with slight fruity touches. Kajaal is more pineapple rose and berry forward. Rand rose is more powdery, rosy and fruity I decluttered Lamar after trying RR it’s much more my speed not overly tart and very elegant.

I love this fragrance. I have a travel vial and it's one of the best sparkly zesty woody roses I have come across. I love how citrusy sparkly it gets and never looses its woodiness and 'depth'.

I literally can't point any difference between this and La Tosca. The gigantesque performance and longevity are also equal.
