Rosa Ekaterina

Beautiful. Not so powdery, but a spicy sort of rose as it opens (in the same vein as Portrait of a lady, for example, but without the patchouli and smokiness from the incense, just the spice, but smoother, with more of a red, juicy quality. Softens as it develops. Very nice and perfectly unisex. Blind bought and no regrets. The bottle is beautiful and suggests something slightly softer. Pleasant surprise. edit: so now after an hour plus a bath, I spray it again and am loving it even more. Something instantly pulls me in, a nuance reminiscent of my all-time favorite rose fragrance, Stephane Humbert Lucas' Rose de Petra... This perfume is just so beautiful I can't stand it..

One of a kind powdery rose and I've gone through hundreds fragrances in this category. Don't know how they did it but this is true luxury in a bottle. It is so elegant and well made. The more you wear it, more you want to wear it if this makes sense. It's like a fountain of youth. Showstopper from the house! Worth every scent and may I say presentation is beautiful on this one!

Beautiful rose fragrance. Like a vase of roses in an old oil painting. It’s a rose in full bloom just before the petals fall. I don’t know how better to describe it. The spice and cedar are in the dry down as the rose fades. I love it, but I love rose fragrances.

This is Rose. Its essence is captured beautifully in this masterpiece. It’s soft but very pronounced. It’s supported well by the white musk. I get no spices here, just a beautifully crafted Rose.

Top notes: Pink pepper, Elemi. Middle notes: May rose. Base notes: sandalwood, vanilla, hot spices, white musk, cumin, cinnamon.

One of the best pure but rich rose accords for me

This one is a beautiful, but pretty strong rose with spices and powdery undertones. It reminds me of Delina Exclusif, but with less sweetness, and more spices. Drydown is a bit softer, but still heavy on the rose. I don't see this one as an unisex fragrance, more of a feminine scent, but that's only my opinion. Sillage is a monster, so as longetivity. If you love roses, give it a try!

Blind bought Rosa Ekaterina (spotted great deal on eBay) and I’m really loving it. It’s a beautiful, full bodied rose! Feels rich, luxurious and sophisticated. I wouldn’t class it as powdery, as it’s classed here, it’s more on a vibrant, sparkly side, not the powder/ lipstick feel. Shares the same spirit as Rose Nacree du Desert, Rose Sapphire and Rose de Petra, but it’s less ‘spicy’. I’m sure lovers of oriental rose will like it a lot. The powdery nuance appears few hours after application and it’s really lovely. I adore wearing Rose Ekarina. Feels so good 😊

Beautiful dewy rose. This is a natural smelling scent, it reminds me of Sa Majeste La Rose, Rose Turkia, and even a little like La Fille De Berlin. You get the fresh rose petals but also a bit of green leaves note. Clean, slightly musky. The projection is soft but persistent. Lovely scent.

I have a decant of this and I liked it when I first tried it but I kinda forgot about it amidst the many i've been testing out. Until I smelled a fresh white rose in my garden and instantly thought of this perfume. Will be buying a full bottle soon.

Powered Turkish rose... Nice and simple. It has musk, sandalwood, but the powder is conquering. When it cools down i started to get some syrup. Nice.
