Tamima Sillage

Surprised to see the notes. I second the review mentioning cream soda, I also instantly thought of some lemonade at first sniff, a bit citrusy and sweet, with only a hint of spice. Myrrh/incense is the most prominent note in the background which I love. I do think it's feminine leaning but I don't want to discourage guys from trying it - I think it might be wearable. Lovely one! Really, really lovely one! I want to acquaintance with more Moresque perfumes now.

First, I notice a cream soda element that opens to a cardamom spiciness with sweetness running through. This is not a sticky sweet but ore of a dry sweetness. Gentle florals in the distant background that almost go unnoticed and yet add to a lovely blend. The dry down becomes more musky vanillic with a touch of light incense slightly reminiscent of Initio's Rehab (however muskier than Rehab). This one goes a little too animalistic on me which I think is just my skin as I have a handful of scents similar (like Montale's Intense Cafe) that do not go animalistic on anyone else but me so take it will a grain of salt Unisex without any noticeable leaning masculine/feminine

Interesting creation. It is all of the notes at once but you can contemplate each. Aromatic and refined, I can see it as a signature cause it is universal with regards to weather or occasion. Orange sounds the strongest in top notes. On amber and myrrh. With orris and neroli playing with artemisia, cardamon, coriander and caraway. Cashmere and agar wood are also tangible. Lovely scent that is more feminine in top notes but turning unisex with time. I can imagine a man wearing it. The blend does not have sex. However, with time woods start to dominate, especially agar wood and it turns more masculine. With wear the woods sweeten a bit and the blend turns unisex again.

To me this is an okay scent. It opened with a sharp pepper note and a cardamom amber combo. Oud and vanilla followed. The dry down was vanilla ambery and was very much to my liking. And thank goodness that it didn’t remind me of the Tamima which I was mostly anosmic to. and what I could smell of it wasn’t pleasing either.

I have no idea why this is marketed as a women's perfume; I really thought it's men's or at least unisex. I can smell cedar, some iris and some musk. Upon application, I thought of it as a lighter version of those typical new perfumery cedar scents. For me, it's an easy reach, light, woody-powdery-musky scent, which is more suited for a man.
