Light My Heart Collection

I've been a naughty girl today! Tricked my man into sampling my MORGAN DE TOI "Light My Heart", telling him it is a male-scent (he wants something fresh for summer instead of the heavy Montale-ouds he wears for the colder season). And he likes it! A LOT even! Perfume-Guru Luca Turin writes on this: "Though intended as a feminine, LMH basically is a barbershop masculine, and none worse for it, with a musky-sweaty feeling that goes in the direction of KOUROS but quiter and more subtle. Suprisingly good and well worth trying". For once I agree with Luca! But feel a little bad about my lies now :( !! I will probaly not tell him as he would so nooot wear it then. SO silly gender-labelling scents I think! Male-members of Fragrantica - give this a try!! :)

I have had this for years. I bought it as a curiosity after reading Turin and Sanchez Perfume guide and having been 'unwowed' by it, it has sat in a box in a drawer for several years. I was thinking of just binning it but, as I do at the thought of parting with a frag, I am giving it a farewell wearing but...you know, I think I am going to keep it, lol. It is in the same family as Cerruti Image for Women and Givenchy's fascinating Eau Torride - citrus aromatic musk. This is a totally unisex fragrance and it's all about citrus muskiness. The citrus notes give it a fresh sparkle, the musk is fresh laundry. It is very pleasing to wear.

In the opening it smells like ether&alcohol. It's very light. Barely perceptible. The dry down reminds me a washed up Alessandro Dell'Aqua. UPDATE:C'est drôle comme les sensations changent. It's the second time I tested it today. Still light and weak but there's nothing of Dell'Aqua. More like Jette by Jette Joop.

Love this perfume. Fresh and deep, but also warm and attractive. Has a long staying power.

Smells a lot like Creature D'Anges by Gilles Cantuel...

A little gem. Creamy, cozy, fluffy. First few seconds i find it a little bit harsh but it's quick goes away and brings those comforting impression. Perfect recomendation for lazy stay at home time but not only. For me it's a perfect way to grab and try if you'll find a classic Nivea way of scent. Very lucky, cheap blindbuy and my last week little, white companion. Have a whole white flacon, different as on photo. Easy to wash out a silver glitter design then you get a simply elegant look.

It's a very fresh scent, laundry fresh. Smells lemony artificial. Modern, urban, with sharp edges, but without soul or character. Perfect if you are into chemical fragrances. Staying power: +4h
