L'Originale Fragrance Mist

This is absolutely gorgeous. I'm freekin' obsessed!! I've been wearing the hair oil for many, many years and when I saw they made a body/hair mist I of course bought it immediately. I've been wearing the mist for a while now too and I just can't get enough of it. It smells almost exactly like the hair oil. Like others have said, this stuff won't last more than 3 minutes. But I find if I have the hair oil in my hair and spray this all over my body, clothes and hair as well, I catch whiffs of it for a few hours at least. This is such a nice spicy, soft, exotic, relaxing smell. It's fresh and pretty and definitely smells like a "hot girl", "cool girl", "clean girl". 10/10. I don't care that it doesn't last. It's perfect.

I've used Moroccan Oil hair products for the longest time and always wished they would make a perfume or body mist with the same fragrance and finally that has happened! I am addicted to this scent. I love it immensely. I use their body butter and shower gel and dry oil also. My one and only complaint about this scent is that it does NOT last. (Why is that?) It smells the same as lovely and comforting as their hair products. It's not overpowering and its not too sweet or too floral. I'll be buying this for a long time to come!

Beautiful scent, but it sits close to the skin and does not last long. Sometimes I will dab the Moroccanoil hair oil on my skin before using the spray for more longevity. It lasts longer in the hair than on the skin. If you love this scent & want a longer lasting effect, I think it smells soooo similar to "Le Male" by Jean Paul Gaultier which is eternal and very strong.

I adore this scent, but the hair products have more longevity than the spray does, strangely enough. I get complimented on how my hair smells all the time when using Moroccanoil on my hair, but the scent from the spray is so fleeting, it's gone before you replace the cap. Literally. It's delicious, though, hope they find a way to make it longer lasting.

This is a great bright, spicy amber. It's not long-lasting or complex yet there's something freshly spicy about it that I love for a hair mist, room mist, or overall addition to anything I'm using. Moroccan Oil has a wonderful earthy tone to everything they create and this is no shortage of it.

It smells exactly like the hair products.. which is heavenly. What I don't understand is why my hair will smell fabulous all day, but the perfume lasts for a couple of hours at most. Very disappointing. Hopefully they will create a stronger longer lasting version.

This smells really good,it only lasts about 5 minutes but none the less it smells fresh and clean almost exactly like the Moroccan oil.The dry down smells similar to Kylie Jenner Cosmic.I'm guessing it's the amber note lol

I love this, the scent is AMAZING - sweet, but not too, natural but not dirty, it's just so pleasing...but it has zero lasting power. And it is a shame because this is a near-perfect fragrance.

Smells like a luxury spa retreat. The layers of light florals with a sophisticated amber touch create a perfect last step for your everything shower routine. Just wish it lasted longer.

Old lady, but in a good way. Perfect after shower fragrance. I could see this being safe for hot weather, too. It's a pleasent, light and clean fragrance.

Powdery, soapy, sweet musk. Lovely and comforting. I can’t imagine that this would offend anyone. A safe blind buy and a safe present option for any age.

Such a beautiful scent! Definitely a crowd-pleaser, I've never met anybody who has had something bad to say about the Moroccan Oil signature fragrance.

It’s perfect for fall rainy days. Smells exactly like the products. From now on, it’s gonna be always in my purse on fall days..

Smells great! Only problem is that it needs to be reapplied often. Either that or I’m nose blind. 😁

I loveee the Moroccanoil hair products and the smell of them is my favourite thing in the world, so I thought I would purchase this so I can smell like that all day! The mist smells slightly different than the hair products in my opinion - a little more sickly but still a lovely scent and very clean smelling. I bought it for that fresh out the shower, clean smell to last all day but unfortunately the longevity is not great at all. Nonetheless I will still spray it in my hair and on my body during the day time and enjoy the smell.

I adore the scent of the OG Moroccan oil, so I was excited to try this in the travel size. It's got the exact same fragrance I expected - warm, ambery, cozy. I wish it lasted longer!! I will try layering with the lotion/oil/other fragrances to see if I can work some magic on the longevity/sillage.

This is a simple body/hair fragrance spray. It is not meant to be a high performing perfume, so adjust your expectations for staying power and projection. This is a comforting, warm, exotic, yet clean scent. It can easily be layered. Office friendly. Unisex, but leaning feminine.

I got this as a sample and it’s okay. Ultra light “hair and body mist” that seems to vanish in minutes. It’s a nice freshie; clean and pleasant. Smells nice with freshly washed hair. No lasting power at all. The sample is nice but I don’t see how it’s worth the full price.

I'm gonna go ahead and say it too, this is so weak and short lived, it's better to just wear the hair oil on your skin than buy this.

Spa scent in a perfume. Very pleasant to wear. Makes me feel calm and peaceful. Don’t expect it to last much.

Smells like the hair products but be aware that it is really very fleeting, even for body mist standards...

White Musk and white floral is what I get in the opening. As it wears, the amber warms up and starts projecting. Smells like all their hair products but maybe we should keep this scent in those. It doesn’t smell like a perfume if that makes sense. You will have to be really into the scent of their hair products to want it in a perfume too. I’m just not the niche this product appeals to. It’s on the lighter side. I could see this appealing to people who like to smell light, clean, ambery, and musky. Perhaps people who enjoy scents like Jennifer Anniston’s perfume or the By Rosie Jane line may like this.

I don't like the way it smells in the first 1-5 minutes. It has a harsh freshness that makes my nose and head hurt. Then the Amber note pops out and it smells really good, like a nice hair oil. Unfortunately it is a soft smell that does not last on my skin or hair. I have to reapply it multiple times. And it wouldn't have been a problem if my head didn't hurt every time I reapplied it. I think this fragrance is appropriate for every season. Definitely an every day fragrance.

I absolutely LOVE Moroccan Oil signature scent and I have always dreamed they come up with perfume. I was disappointed when they came up with body spray... I get why, they are hair and body care company. It’s just this body spray has absolutely weak performance. It lasts 30 minutes at most. Sits close to skin. The scent itself is magnificent. So yeah....I hope one day they come up with EDT or EDP version of signature scent.

I thought I would like this one because I love amber but I did'nt. It's just ok. To me it smells musky, warm, creamy, and ambery. I don't get why I could not pick up on the floral notes. There's also a musty quality to it. And no longevity either. Perfectly unisex though. I used it up but I won't be purchasing it again.

I got samples of this fragrance and the Moroccan hair oil from Sephora and used them on the same day. They smell exactly the same lmao. It was fun to try but I can't imagine wanting to smell like this all the time honestly. It's giving Smarties and cheap lipstick

If you love Moroccanoil (I mean hair products, the body mist is waste of money, harsh at the beginning and poor longevity) you should try Prada Candy Kiss. It has a kind of sugar candy note in it for a couple of minutes but when that fades away it ́s very pleasant and has surprising lasting power. I am getting the same warm amber scent for nine hours, only then it starts to slowly disappear.. Yes, it is linear but for those who enjoy Maroccanoil it will be an advantage.

reminds me of soap + thrift store air, it wants to be good but its weirdly dense and almost smoky

If you want to smell like a fresh bathroom masking the scent of a fat shit, this is it. It's literally terrible in terms of perfumes but actually totally okay if you want a bathroom aerosol. Really though, it isn't AWFUL, it just smells fresh in a not fresh way lol. Save yourself the $30 and get something from Pacifica or Le Monde Gourmand, they're cheaper and smell much nicer.

Straight 409 cleaner for a few minutes, then the amber starts to come out, right before it completely disappears. There are much better amber-y drugstore cheapies out there. Total yuck from me, though mine seems to be the minority opinion.

Really weird of Fragrantica to list this company as American since they are an Israeli brand, they just moved their main office to America. Free Pali🇵🇸❤️

Y’all- I love the smell of this range and had the body mist on my want list for ages. However, I just found out that the brand isn’t Moroccan at all; it’s Israeli. It was started by some woman who was traveling and came across a traditional hair treatment in Morocco, so decided to copy it [steal it] and has made a fat stack selling a culturally Moroccan product and from what I understand, doesn’t even source the raw materials from Morocco. They are apparently using GMO Israeli argan. This was a tree that was unique to Morocco btw. And what’s worse is it that the Argan oil industry in Morocco traditionally gives work to women, so they ain’t even helping that either. I’m taking it off my list. Such typical colonizer moves. Such a bummer. Thought I’d share for those of you who are interested in the BDS movement.

Y'all this smells incredibly amazing!!! I’ve been a huge fan of Moroccan oil and this one smells almost like it but more fresh and probably the best smelling fragrance out there!! And not even a niche perfume can beat this. This is soooo good, 10/10....but!! It doesn’t last at all!!(ofc because it’s a body&hair mist and not a perfume) but still wanted it to last more;( Please make an edp version !! Cuz I would spend all my money on this!!

I like this one a lot, but maybe a little bit too ambery for me. I'd like one with a little bit more of vanilla and jasmine or petit grain bigaradier or bergamote. Morocanoil are actually selling hand wash with different scents, I hope they will release them as body spray/eau de toilette too.

Smells exactly like the oil 😍 but if you overspray (as one does) it starts smelling awful. Ended up giving it away

They reformulated this. This was my favourite scent. Now it smells like their perfume.
