Gate 17

Holy wow - I wasn’t expecting this scent to blow me away how it did. What made me go for it is that someone said it was in the same family as Musc Moschus and it absolutley is! It’s so good it makes my eyes roll back in my head. This fragrance feels like ME. It’s powdery, sweet, musky, warm, and such a delight to smell from beginning to end. I no longer need Musc Moschus in my collection with this! The notes in this are done to PERFECTION not a single note is out of place or overwhelming or cloying. Beeswax is there to add something so addictive, and helps the entire fragrance melt into your skin. The iris, musk, amber, cashmere wood, and bergamot make up the “clean/your skin but better” part of this fragrance. The marine notes and the vetiver give this breezy, fresh, cozy woodiness to round out the entire fragrance. The floral notes are sweet and perfect. It’s clean, classy, and close to the skin. Perfect for daily wear or a quiet kind of elegance.

I was sent this one and Cruda as a tester in April, together with the Bianco Latte that I have bought. My God, I fell in love with the tester of Gate 17 ten times more than with Bianco Latte, purchased it that very same day (I did not even hear about Morph before - I heard of Disumano briefly though), however, after thinking for a few days, I bought Cruda as well. Gate 17 became my signature fragrance that day and I am not taking it off ever since. Maybe it is a bit more on the spring / summer side, but I think this will be equally nice, soft and sexy in the colder seasons, but still, I am in love with it!

Soft, powdery, and a little sweet without going full dessert. You get hints of honey and floral notes with a creamy iris and musk vibe. It feels like a cozy skin scent, very wearable and feminine, but don’t expect it to project much. Think clean, classy, and close to the skin. Perfect for daily wear or a quiet kind of elegance.

Similar to Tonkatonic for the first 3 minutes. On the dry down, the iris is very clear and beautiful, similar with Putain de Palais by ELDO. A beautiful and modern scent. I would wear it on a daily basis. Like all Morph perfumes, it has a great quality.

A truly delightful feminine scent. It is powdery with delicate florals and a hint of honey. This is signature scent worthy perfume, very office appropiate as well. That everyday type of scent that makes you smell amazing and very womanly.

Soft sweet powdery semi floral aquatic. I really like this one. It's sweet honeyed soft powdery iris with aquatic florals in the back and drys down into marshmallow musk.very very pretty

This creation is really really good

This is a very nice marine elegant scent. It is feminine leaning, and my sales assistant recommended it to me after I said I was in the search for my signature gourmand winter scent. This is not gourmand ina vanilla way but in a beach sunscreen, flowery way, it is slightly creamy and very soft. I do not think I will purchase since I didn't have a love-at-first-sniff feeling, but it is a lovely skin scent.

A nice, feminine, beautiful scent. Sweet without being too intrusive, amber-y and musky. But unfortunately persistence is quite low and projection is weak. It's more of a skin scent, which I find disappointing in this price range.

Similar to Musc Moschus by Rania J, that was the first thought when I smelled this. MM is not marine though and that’s where a big difference sets them apart. Also, Gate 17 is very much a skin scent and MM is not. MM is longer lasting and far better sillage but this is a nice skin scent if you are looking for something in the realm of MM with a marine touch.

This smells exactly like Musc Moschus on my skin, but warmer - probably due to the beeswax note. This is lovely but from what I recall I was more into the airiness of Musc Moschus.
