Iconic

Absolutely love this...great balance and I can be I the mood for this anytime. I do overspray because it is light. It is a light clean wood and a very light floral in the background. This does remind me of what the perfume description says...balance of femininity and masculinity so subtly. Everyday scent that makes me feel like myself but even better

Smells just like Mojave ghost. Alittle more longer lasting I love it.

Smells like the Lily of the Valley in ne il giorno ne l'ora by sorcinelli, less pleasent, more powdery, qithout the rest of It. Very generico Versatile, not safe blind buy Remember me of a hair conditioner. 5/10

Morph is a niche perfume brand from my country, Romania, and i checked the official website where the notebreakdown is much different then whats here on fragrantica. They are the following: Top notes: White florals, piquant notes, bergamot. Mid notes: Cold-extracted Sandal wood (???), Iris, Musk Base notes: Ambroxan, Vetiver, Balsamic Notes Iconic opens up with a bright and sweet, nectar-like floral accord. So sweet infact, that it reminds me of plum and peach. I’ve seen other local fragrance content creators try out the scent and they mentioned fruits right away so its curious that no sweet fruits are mentioned in the notes. There’s a soft woody base that supports the floral sweetness, probably the sandalwood. The perfume feels cold which makes me think of the weird “cold extracted sandal wood” mentioned in the official notes. It has a cooling effect on my nose and Iris can have that effect in certain situations. This aspect makes the perfume best suited for the warm months. The interesting thing about the perfume is that the sweetness is clearly of floral origins, even if its missleading on initial impressions. Im not unfamiliar with floral notes in perfumery yet i don’t recall encountering such a sweet floral accord. There are many sweet perfumes paired with florals in their compositions yet you can always tell that the sweetness doesn’t come directly from the florals. Its always florals + amber, fruits or other modern aromachemicals. With Morph’s Iconic, its as if the sweetness directly “pours out” of the florals, hence why i called them nectar-like just above. Iconic comes across as modern and molecular but also smooth and genderwise it heavily pulls in the feminine direction. On my first impression it reminded me of my most recent blindbuys, Feminite du Bois (a properly ICONIC perfume, pun intended). Thats mostly due to the nature of the sweetness and the woody base. Feminite du Bois however is not molecular but more complex and even if it also has a feminine tilt, its more unisex then Morph’s Iconic. Drawing comparitions amongst the two makes me realise just how up-to-date and timeless Feminite du Bois actually smells.
