Toujours Glamour

I put this away for a while and just remembered I had it. Now I know why I love it, so similar to Armani Sensi, a love that will always cheer me up. Azzaro Visit is similar to Sensi too, btw. Oh, the almond and burst of citrus (like kaffir lime to me) are so silky and fresh but not at all in a soapy or salty way. This is so cheap and still available. Be sure to get the blue cap, not the red one. === Dear "Always Glamorous" -- I bought you as a blind buy based on reviews here mentioning doll's head/plasticky notes, Love's Baby Soft, Sensi, L'Instant Magic, and baby scents. To me, you are a combination of LBS and Johnson's Baby Shampoo -- how I love both of those. I detect a tiny PlayDoh note too, squee! I have been spraying it everywhere. Comforting as hell (realize that's an oxymoron). Is there lotion or oil??? 2010 sounds about right, the end of the 2000s right before it all got gourmand. Wish there was an intense version. Come back!

The initial spray straightly reminds me of vintage Dream Angels Heavenly by Victoria Secret, maybe because they share the same violet-musk-cardamom notes. I’m a bit surprised as i was expecting more almond and heliotrope in this one. Turned out that it smells quite clean, sharp violet leaf, and musky. And yes it recalls Nivea cream. It's indeed a bit sour on my skin in the early phase, but getting better as it settles down. Not at all a bad scent, in fact i enjoy this perfume more and more, but it just a miles away from what i imagined it would be with the notes in the list. Will give it another try and assess. EDIT: it's warmer and nuttier after 20-30 minutes, think i will like it more ;)

I really like this! I blind bought it based on comparisons here and I'm happy! Although you have to reapply it (maybe a spray per hour), it's affordable, so no big deal. I wore it to work for the first time today and received a compliment by a very... well... snooty personality, LOL!This says a lot to me, especially since I couldn't even smell it. Perfect for feeling like you just showered when you haven't actually had time to, like me this AM. Still felt fresh!

My easy-to-go winterscent. It is cozy, fluffy, powdery, a bit soapy (at the opening) and indeed very much like Nivea body milk. The heart scent is indeed sweeter thanks to the almond and jasmine, but I do not find it overly sweet even though I do not like (too) sweet scents. For me this is like a cashmere sweater with jeans: cozy and casual, and would not wear it in spring or summer.

This juice doesn't smell Like Nivea lotion at all. It stays close of you. It is a fragrance to enjoy alone. At one point, after an opening of green notes, it smells somewhat bitter. The dry down comes very fast and a powdery and sweeter heliotrope can be felt close to skin. It doesn't seem like there were more notes than this flower. It's like a solinote. Ideal for spring time.

It is another fragrance then others Moschino fragrances, what are more like citrus. It is perfect floral fragrance and can not wait, when I will buy it. I smell mostly lillac (I know, there is not lillac, but I smell it), then violet and almonds. It will be perfect in winter, when I will use it with Nivea Creme and shower gel. It is also perfect fragrance in spring.

To me, it smells like a lighter Dior Addict, with a bit of L'instant Magique de Guerlain. I like it so much, but I'm afraid, that I have to use a lot of it to make myself smell like anything at all:S. Because it transforms itself to a close to skin-scent in 1,5 hours after applying. It is italian, but it smells french, if that makes sense.

Wow! I'm really surprised about negative feedback here. For me the colour of the bottle doesn't attract me, but the scent is so good. It's soft sweet delicate powdery scent, not sharp at all. I don't detect any sour or spicy smell just fresh and delicate flowers. I think it's one of the beautiful feminine scent. Really love it!

This one is a real compliment magnet. Smells like you took a bath in some crushed purple flowers sprinkled with almonds, then applied the most luxurious cold cream to your entire body. The smell is captivating, smooth creamy and comforting.

Received my order and tried my blind buy and ahhh yes very familiar! It does smell like Nivea lotion ha! Great buy. More lotion like than powder but still a love. I can’t pick out specific notes honestly. It is nice. Glad I got it!

Not at all ... not smell of bitter almonds, nor almonds. Smells like powdery white flowers a little bitter and watery. But nothing in particular.I disagree with the MAIN ACORDS

I could only smell jasmine and a subtle touch of almonds, but very subtle.on paper after 8 hours, smells like baby powder

I find most designer fragrances quite boring and generic and Toujours Glamour is no real exception, but I happen to like it more than other. I don't really get the Nivea Cream edge, but it definetely smells "cosmetic", this time in a more classy way than average. I like the opening with a very delicate cardamom and violet leaf. The berry is not very strong but the other notes gives a soft elegant vibe to the opening. The heart comes in very quickly, while violet leaf is still lingering. It's made of jasmin flower, but very very tamed and strictly blended with bitter Almond. Here comes a pleasant surprise: the Almond is not the usual sickening extra-sugary-praline artificial flavour. Very good job! The Almond here smells like real thing (I doubt it is) and has a bitter tone but very balanced. It is slightly reminiscent of a fraction of old Laura Biagiotti Roma from the 90s and maybe a vague hint of old El Charro Woman. The drydown holds traces of previous notes and add powder in. It's a very soft heliotrope with benzoin. A lovely composition all together, it develops on skin with grace, it smells modern and very feminine, quite elegant but not too much done. I think this is a typical scent that grabs compliments from masses, but at least it's not your usual fake vanilla with some flower thrown in. It has nuances and decent sillage. Lasting power is about 4 hours on me, leaving traces for longer. The bottle is cute and fine, well rounded feminine yet not tacky.

I blind bought this due to the comparison to the scent of Nivea skin cream/body lotion. It has a definite Nivea vibe, but it’s as if the Nivea scent was made into a dusting powder. But it still is creamy too, not overly dry. The actual Nivea scent has some lemon in the undertones, there is no lemon in this whatsoever, however it’s very clean, comforting and fluffy. A very inoffensive and all season scent. It’s funny because this smells like a clean baby, like when you smell the top of a baby’s head lol. But this does not smell like Johnson and Johnson baby powder - no. Baby’s don’t actually smell of that. It’s just a magical, soft baby smell, natural to them and this scent reminds me of it. I am having a hard time picking out any of the specific notes, musk maybe, but I can’t put my finger on anything else. I think I smell the almond, though it does not smell like almond to me, yet I’m told this is how almond smells in perfumery because other perfumes I’ve smelled that had heavy almond notes share this quality with Toujours Glamour. I love the scent of almond , but have never really like one perfume with a heavy almond note in it’s pyramid, except for this... I guess? There were some reviews that say there is a sour or bitter quality to this. I’d say the initial blast definitely has a sharpness to it, but fades very quickly and just becomes very fluffy and lovely. I like the periwinkle hue on the bottle too btw 😉

This opens with a strong alcohol blast which is downright unpleasant. My immediate reaction was to recoil and regret another unsuccessful blind buy. Fortunately, that horrible opening is short-lived; give it 20 minutes or so and then smell it. After about 45 minutes, the drydown is reached and that is where this perfume truly blooms. The almonds are gently sweetened by the heliotrope (one of my favourite notes) - they aren't green or bitter at all, nor is there a marzipan or Amaretto like feel to them. LOTV is a very distinctive scent and I am not picking up on this note at all. There's a creamy, vanillic feel to the perfume, perhaps from the benzoin and a mild non-animalic musk holding the notes together. Sillage is moderate (but only just, the perfume sits fairly close to the skin) but the longevity on my dry, perfume-eating skin is remarkable, particularly for an EDT. I can still smell it clearly six hours later. It is cold here today and I suspect TGM will perform far better in the summer - it's definitely not a winter fragrance. This is a safe blind buy for lovers of slightly sweet almond scents and well worth the online asking price.

This is a delicious scent. Comforting violet, creamy almonds and a tad of benzoin swirling together to create a fluffy beautiful cloud. The floral notes are not most predominant in this fragrance. Once the dry down occurs, the almonds are the stars, with the violets and benzoin uniting in perfect harmony. The longevity is moderate, and I think the projection is moderate as well. It is a breathe deeply smell, one that is universally appealing, and inviting. One that you want to keep spraying and smelling, never overpowering, and one that does not need to be over thought. It is appealing from the first try, which is sometimes nice in the complex world of perfumery. I do want to add however, that it does smell quite expensive, not overly sweet, and very unique from anything else that I own. I love it even more because it was a surprise gift from hubby , so sweet!

First thing, lovely bottle! When I tested it last year shortly after its release, I found it a bit weird, because the impression of the original Glamour (the red cap one) always resides in my mind, and the jasmine in this blue cap bottle is outright different. Jasmine in this perfume is not as loud, actually it's very quiet, only at the beginning within 10 minutes I can sensed some fresh jasmin, then there is all the foggy lily-of-the-vally. The undertone is intense and sexy, which reminds me a lot of BLV Jasmin Noir. I went to checked that out and find the reason - it's the almond that contained in both. The lasting is good, a stronger version out of EDT's spectrum. But on the whole it's just an OK choice for me, I prefer the red cap Glamour (a salty-sweet-creamy-intense-jasmine scent).

i tried it several times and washed it off but there was something drawing me to this scent...it starts kinda oriental with the cardamom but also there is very strong lemony note not listed here n then the violet leaf pops up on my skin mixed with the freshness of lily-of the valley....the scent is oriental n fresh in a good way...what makes it interesting for me is the total lack of sweetness (although i adore gourmand perfumes)...i must say i quite like it now....it is very refreshing on a very hot day and sporty....It is good for a every day wear, at the office and sport activities as it is pleasant but not intrusive.... It is good for extremely hot and humid weather....i can still smell it on my wrist after a half an hour shower...

Good job Moschino! I like this far better than the original Glamour. It's a modern and edgy scent for warm & hot nights. Powerful jasmine eau de toilette. I didn't like the top notes, they formed one, a bit sour accord. Pity because I love every single note listed in the top! I couldn't smell them. Nothing spicy or green or fruity ... just sour. But the jasmine here is truly beautiful! Similar to one in Alien. Stays with you from the middle notes to the very end. The almonds are barely detectable, crisp and fresh. I don't get much from the drydown. Jasmine jasmine jasmine ... One of the better jasmine scents I know :) It gives a bit soapy feeling. Good quality - stays for a few hours. Well done :)!

Very pleasantly surprised. This was a blind buy for me and I figured it's cheap why not! The Nivea comparison also pulled me in as I love the smell of Nivea. So this is such a refreshing scent. It does resemble Nivea. It's very clean and while an EDT it's got some very good kick and lasting power. I've been plagued lately with faders and this one does not fade. You get a real bang for your buck. I can smell it perfectly on my wrist from a few hours ago. If your into scents like this I think it's a total score and worth adding to your collection. I have never smelled Sensi but see it's compared to it. And because of this I can see why Sensi has such a following.

The more I wear this, I like it more. But unfortunately, it still a like for me. This is my 5th Moschino and I adore all of them, but this one is gonna take some getting used to. To me, it is a slightly spicy, but pleasant musk scent. Any floral scent is so light and powdery that is practically non-existent. I do get some nutty, creamy softness, that must be the almonds. And like others, I can smell a bit of a soapy resemblance to Nivea Lotion. It is much to heady for spring or summer...so as this dreary winter continues I will continue to wear this one. It's definitely not love at first sniff, but maybe as the winter drags on, I will grow to love her.

This fragrance is Kenzo Summer minus mimosa to my nose. It's rich and creamy like Nivea Cream but my nose also smells some anise at the very beginning. Almond is also very noticable. All in all, I can summarize this parfume with the formula below: Kenzo Summer-mimosa+anise+nivea cream Kenzo Summer is one of my all time favorite's... Unfortunately, it was discontinued. That's why I found this one very comforting. It smells divine on your clothes. Perfect for people who like clean, creamy, shampoo like smells.

I have a mini and am considering a full bottle. I will say that I don’t see this as creamy but it is almondy and heliotrope-y and smells very much like lotion. It isn’t a projection or a sillage monster, at least not from a dab, but that could change with different application. The longevity is moderate, about four or five hours. It sort of blends with your skin to smell like “you”.Not my usual type of heavy-hitter scent but I really, really like it. I use it often after showers before bed.

I'm glad I waited for the dry down to form an opinion on this one. Right after I applied it, I HATED it. It was very offensively powdery, like a grandmother perfume. As it settled into my skin, there's still a bit of soft powderiness, but the warmer notes like cardamom start to step forward. You also get a bit of sweetness from the benzoin. This perfume definitely isn't for everyone, but I kind of like it. It won't be a regular go to for sure, but I'll pick it up every now and then.

Beautiful scent! Just as confident and sophisticated as Allure EdT, but this is softer and less strident- Also bears a resemblance to Insolence eau Glacee and My Queen- Does anyone besides me smell lemon?? I'm puzzled that there are no citrus notes listed at all- Staying power is good on me- after 6 hours, it is a soft musky skin scent- and even hours later, I continue to get whiffs of it's lovely blue-toned violet leaf top notes- This is becoming a new favorite...

I've had it for so much time and every time I spray it, I fall in love again and again with this beautiful fragrance. It's adorable, it's fresh and warm at the same time. You can smell spring flowers, almonds and a hint of jasmin that makes it sexier. It's soft and inoffensive but has much character. I would definitely recommend it to every woman who wants to feel pretty and sophisticated but also comfortable at the same time.

This can be one of Prada's Infusions/Infusion de Iris. Its powdery, fresh, creamy, with the right crisp brought by violet leaves and cardamom. The creamy almond, powdery heliotrope, and warm musk are the backbone of the fragrance pyramid. Its like baby's skin! It doesnt last a long time on skin, maybe 4-5 hours max but thats ok. The price is very affordable too. Also, it has a Nivea clean smell to it, with less fatty note.

Toujours glamour is a fragrance I like very much. It starts with sweet almonds pampering your senses and develops into a beautiful mix of violet and lily of the valley. It is sexy, delicate but detectable. It is really a wonderful fragrance. It does remind me of Kenzo Amour, but Toujours Glamour luckily lacks the overpowering vanilla sweetness. A wonderful scent.

I got a bit of resemblance to Flower by Kenzo at first.. and don't ask me how, but later it reminded me Harajuku Wicked Style Baby.. and later still a faint whiff of Light Blue. Anyway.. it gave me the idea to put on Flower and one of my many dupes of Light Blue, together. Not bad, so far.. I won't be needing to replace my sample when it's finished.

Well overdue a review! Lovely almond and heliotrope fragrance. I don’t get much else from this. Reminds me of a softer, less sweet L’Instant Magic. Soft projection, but not weak - creates a gentle but pervasive scent bubble. Very good longevity. I find this fragrance so calming yet uplifting. Amazing quality for the price point.

Nice and fresh....i don't feel the jasmine so much, fruity and musky, a bit bittery ! I have a sample of it... I like it , very nice and modern!!! ...;) Bravo*** Perfect for spring summer, IMO. Update...hmmm...yes i can feel jasmine ...but it's a very delicate one , not strong ;) Mayby i'll buy it for the summer !!!

I like the scent. It's a bit soapy with benzoin, almonds well detectable. It's rather a cold scent (Glamour also is) but it wears nice. Not thick, not thin, elegant, pretty bottle. It's a good fragrance, perhaps not excellent, still good - thumbs up! I prefer it much more from I Love Love or Funny!

I can't feel the almonds at all. Citruses in the opening even if they aren't listed, very fruity /from the Red Currant/ and flowery smell and just a bit powdery in the dry down. I've expected more powder. The lasting power is very poor on my skin, less then 3 hours.Like it, but not love it.

Great fragrance at an affordable price, you have to give it a chance if you like almond, powdery, delicate perfumes. It's all about the almond and the heliotrope, with a hint of soft spice. I find it very similar to the new by YSL, Manifesto, just check it out! I recommend it!

Not a gourmand almond. I don't get any nuttiness, just an almond milk quality. Mostly smells of heliotrope with a dash of cardamom. Eventually some lily of the valley and a slight vanilla impression from the benzoin. I found it boring so I am gifting it to someone else.

Nivea or Dove and baby powder. Didn't expect to like this but I love it, it's very comforting. Makes me think of a kind, caring, gentle and positive woman that everyone likes. I'm far from this ethereal being but this perfume makes me want to be more like that :)

It reminds me of Kelly Caleche EDP in the opening (watery violets, hints of mimosa) Middle notes are quite soft and smooth like Dove, yes :D Disappointing part to me is the dry-down: generic and heavy, but probably that's not an issue for hot skin type

This is such a pretty powdery floral smell but it's tainted to me by what smells like pepper. It's not in the notes but I hate pepper in perfumes and I swear I smell it. It's still nice but that pepper smelling note makes it a 'like' and not a love.

Smells of baby powder and subtle flowers. It's a safe scent for work, not overpowering or offensive. Average staying power and average sillage. I like it a lot. More for casual wear and for summer and spring. It's a fresh and clean scent.

powder all day long with this one. very comforting and gentle. it's a dead ringer for kenzo indigo. doesn't project a great deal or last very long on me. it's quite similar to a lot of fragrances i enjoy but it is delicious nonetheless.

Little girly bottle, Its soft weak but not in a bad way. It's more skin scent floral fresh and powdery. I sprayed it before sleeping and the smell is still there in the morning. Received this from one fragrantica member as a giveaway.

If you like soft powdery scents then you will like this one. Smells just like baby powder to me. I do like it but it's nothing to write home about. I got a 3.4 oz bottle at TJ Maxx for $10 on clearance!!! Great deal!

Smells good. Fresh, powdery and light. I see it as a basic baby powder shower-fresh clean scent. A good office scent as it is non offensive and not too strong Has moderate staying power. I like it.

I think it's just as the original Glamour: a nice fragrance, doesn't really stand out though, quickly gone like the wind. Not worth a purchase.

I really like this one. Its open with a crispy lemon touch and Little powdery and flower smell later. A very good blind buy :-)

I got a strong lemony blast on the top notes, and then it settled into mostly muguet des bois with a bit of a smoky undertone
