Toy 2

4/26/24 This was a blind buy for me. I was actually doing a search for office/crowd appropriate scents as I work a lot, but I also love perfume. I had no idea of the history of the bottle. I thought, “If it’s safe as a children’s frag, it’s safe for work!” (After researching the “Toy” line, I read the bottle design is actually meant as satire - I guess to show the other perfume companies to ease up and not take themselves so seriously.) However, I do think it would be a safe frag for a girl to start out with. It’s clean, soft, powdery and entirely feminine. A little goes a long way. In my mind it conjures up images of mother-and-child paintings by renowned artist Mary Cassatt - innocent, pure, secure, safe love. Not all scents need to shy away from being office and crowd safe. If you’ve ever experienced a “Shalimar” like experience as you’re working, it’s - at least for me - NOT a pleasant experience. I want day scents to be quiet, unobtrusive, inviting, and dreamy - to help calm my intense drive and focus as I get through the hours of a work day. And that’s what Toy 2 accomplishes. It needs to be added though with a gentle hand. Too much is headache-inducing. DEFINITELY daytime-appropriate. It can be nighttime-appropriate too if it drives your partner crazy. I would imagine in the right circumstances it would be sexy when applied subtly and directly to the skin’s pulse points. Rwar! 🔥💦❤️🔥 Top notes: Apple, Mandarin Orange and Magnolia. Mid notes: White Currant, Peony and Jasmine; base notes: Musk, Sandalwood and Amberwood.

A couple of mos ago I went to Perfume Mania and sampled probably 10 different perfumes. In the store I didn’t think too much of this, but when I started walking around the mall and smelled the test strip with Toy 2, I was like ooo, what perfume is this? I couldn’t remember. I knew I liked Yara and Dior Addict, but I had forgotten which one this was. My advice is bring a pen when you’re sampling with multiple test strips. It smelled so fruity, fresh and breezy. I went back to the store and the salesperson and I couldn’t figure it out. Anyways I ended up going back a week later after I had narrowed it down to this and Yara White. I was so happy to figure it out and to know this happy, joyful scent is Toy 2. For me, the apple, orange, peony and magnolia really shine. And I can’t always tolerate peony. I love it! It’s not spectacular, but it’s pretty and nostalgic. I know it was created in 2018, but Toy 2 smells like the 90’s to me. In my opinion it is better than CK1, Tommy Girl or Pleasures which everyone wore then! The bottle is really cute too!

Toy 2 by Moschino is a soft, sweet, and slightly quirky take on a fresh everyday scent. It opens with a burst of fresh laundry and crisp green apple — clean and fruity without feeling too sharp or synthetic. I don’t get much citrus from this; the sweetness leans more into fruit than zest. There's a smooth, silky warmth that wraps everything together, almost like a soft blanket, making it feel a bit cozier than your typical airy fresh scent. There’s a hint of something “perfumey” in the background — likely from the florals — but it never becomes cloying or overpowering. Light, inoffensive, and slightly sweet, this sits close to the skin and doesn’t project heavily or last particularly long. But that’s okay — it’s the kind of scent you wear because it makes you feel good, not because you're trying to make a statement. Overall, Toy 2 is a charming, fresh, fruity scent with just enough nuance to keep it interesting. A great inexpensive pick-me-up for everyday wear — cheerful, easygoing, and crowd-pleasing.

This is soooo beautiful. Don't sleep on this! Yes, it smells like you are fresh out of the shower, but I love that. It's also more complex than your typical soapy/shampoo fragrance. It has a beautiful sweet green apple (almost pear-like) quality that smooths it out and rounds it out. It's not a sharp soap, but a warm linen vibe. Not a "notice me" scent, but more of that "there's something about you" scent, which I personally prefer and find more charming. So versatile, you can wear it for any occasion (any time of day/year) and give off that expensive/classy vibe. The first celebrity that comes to mind is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. I don't know maybe I always imagine her in something white, clean, classic, and crisp, whether casual or red-carpet. She has natural and clean, but fully done-up makeup and hair. There's a gentle and classic femininity about her. If anything I've said vibes with you, give this a try, please!

I wear this when I don’t want to offend anyone. Perfect for school, work, etc as it’s very intimate but it lasts all day on me. This smells absolutely divine when you’re fresh out of the shower & you spray this on. Pair with a crisp white shirt/dress that you just took out of the laundry & you’ll give off luxurious rich aunt vibes. This bottle smells exactly what it looks like. The promise of spring. It’s delicate, soft, and clean with a touch of fruit. It is pretty musky though; it reminds me of a baby’s perfume I wore when I was younger. This is one that my man has really loved in my collection. He hugged me and was like mmmmm you smell soooo good.

I've been eyeing this for a while and got it for a song at TJMaxx. Definitely a clean laundry smell with a fruit note that I know is supposed to be apple but reads as pear-like to me. That fruit note provides an unexpected departure from what might have been a fairly run-of-the-mill "fresh cotton" type scent. Reminds me a bit of Burberry Body Tender. I got a smaller bottle so the bear does have a hydrocephalic look with that giant head.... Edit: I don't know how they did it, but Moschino recreated the scent of "heat" in this - you know how warm laundry smells? Not detergent or dryer sheets, but actual warmth. I love this more each time I wear it ❤️

Got the set of minis for Christmas 2021. This was the one that stood out to me! I love this perfume with all my heart. So fresh and soapy, but good soapy. Like a boujee bubble bath with expensive products. Just the right amount of sweetness so that it’s not sickly, but still delicious. It’s a very youthful scent. It’s a very sunny scent, it’s slightly sun creamy, but in that nostalgic way. I can’t ignore the bottle - it’s a great collectible. I wish I liked Toy 2 Bubblegum so I could display them together. My partner wears Toy Boy and we have matching bottles, black and white😍 Honestly, if you haven’t, give this perfume a shot.

Lots and lots of clean clouds of shampoo not too laundry but a little too shampooy and that’s perfect for me this scent is incredibly Clean and Pure Airy Icy Fresh Clouds Full of kindness and love this smells like if showering was a person u know when u get a cold shower in the morning and the sun rays from the window is shining in the whole bathroom and u r using a herbal essence or Johnson&Johnson shampoo and it’s refreshing your mind cells this is truly amazing scent and lasts more than 6 hours on my shirt straight 10/10 Amazing !!!

I have a special place in my heart for this scent; it doesn't really fit the usual woody skin-scent musks I identify with but it makes me feel more in tune with being a girl my age, youthful and effervescent. The tangerine and apple feel separate from the musk; to me, I would liken it to eating a sweet and tart lollipop while wearing fresh, clean laundry. When I first got my sample, I thought it had short longevity but after having it for a while I believe it lingers for a few hours. Perfect for a lunch outing with the girls.

I had found an atomiser with this scent in it , unbeknownst to me at the time. I went crazy for 3 days , going to every perfume shop near me, asking every sales associate what it could've been. No one could figure it out! until I had gone into one store and a kind gentleman instantly knew what it was, and I have been in love ever since, I have not smelt anything like it! great compliment getter and smells like stepping out of a morning shower after washing your hair, fresh and crisp . I love it!

Absolutely delicious, ideal for someone who likes fruity fresh and citrus but doesn't enjoy lemon and bergamot per se, My partner hates citrus and yet adores this one on me, the dry down is a lovely "your skin but better" (and kinda soapier) smell, I'm looking to acquire a lotion and a dupe so I can reapply it and have it last longer than an hour or two in the cold. Very sophisticated and subdued compared to the more experimental and loud toy line

This is amazing. Such a beautiful, fresh and comforting scent. I find that I'm drawn to this fragrance on warm sunny days because it just makes me feel fresh and clean. I don't get a cleaning product smell from this, I just get fresh, sweet, cotton fabric. To me this smells like being on a sailboat, wearing a light blue linen sundress, soaking up the sun. I also love just wearing this around the house because it's so soothing and pleasant.

One of my favorite scents so far, the one that actually introduced me to the complex world of perfumes. It's fresh, clean yet very sweet at the end. In the opening its sharp citrus threw me back but then I smelled the fruits and oh my God I just fell in love with it. I can only long for summer time again to wear my linen shirts with blue jeans and this beautiful light juice. Adore this. Onto my second bottle soon enough.

This might not be the best clean fresh scent for most, but for some reason, it is for me, even though I'm a person whose skin ph doesn't get along with citruses at all. The moment I tested it I felt surrounded by an aura of childlike happiness. I grant it to the green apple note. Overall it smells like Dove soap, and for me it's truly the one and only "smelling like fresh out of the shower" scent.

My sister gave me the 7ml mini after recieving it as an unwanted gift and after a year of careful use I've just purchased the 100ml. It leans a lot more feminine than other clean scents, especially those in my collection, but I can see it on a particularly well-dressed man. It's perfect for a sunny summer outing - I love applying it to the neck/chest area as it enables me to smell it all day.

I was given this as a gift - not my kind of scent at all. However, I found myself reaching for it as a ‘work from home’ fragrance, and it does the job perfectly. It’s fresh, zingy, fruity, citrusy - smells like clothes out the drier or evaporated shower gel. Inoffensive, easy to wear, you can’t overspray it. It’s a bit pricey for what you get but, as a gift, I don’t hate it at all.

Reminds me a bit of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet but has more staying power and friendliness. Similar feeling and citrus floral freshness as Lancome Miracle. Adorable bottle of course, though to me, the color should be pink. Happy spring flowers and rosy cheeks. I think the apple and mandarin add the sparkle. Morillas is a genius, and I seem to love anything he does.

This fragrance is definitely unisex. People should stop marking it as female just because the brand labels it that way, and start voting based on their own perception instead. It also has an incredibly clean and comforting vibe. It’s the kind of fragrance you can wear both outside and at home when you’re by yourself, just to feel more peaceful, relaxed, and happy.

The bottle is super cute! And same as others have mentioned, it does resemble Blanche. Not a dupe however, but a fruity & a bit less aldehydic version of that scent. I'm glad I've found it as I find Blanche a bit too sharp sometimes, I have to be in a very specific mood to wear it, while Toy 2 is more approachable and I see myself reaching for it more often.

I love this :) This is a good summer or everyday scent. A sweet citrus, I would say. I can smell the green apple at first spray and on my skin the apple stays for a long time. It reminds me of Versace Eros EDT :) nothing super special, but for me the important thing is that it smells good and doesnt give me a headache. I will wear this alot this summer :)

I love this scent - it is ultra fresh, ultra fruity, ultra delicious :D Very clean shampoo smell. It does smell feminine, but to me, I rock it sometimes as a hairy dude. I'd say moreso than feminine, it's clean and I love clean. Note, I also hate laundry smells, and this is not laundry-like to me at all. It's very airy and crisp!

Self-care Sunday. Bubble bath. Apple-scented shampoo. Peony soap. A vitamin C face mask. The bathroom window is slightly open so the fresh Spring morning air brushes your skin. Water droplets fall onto your feet from the tap you just closed shut. You catch a whiff of an unlit jasmine scented candle. You could soak for hours.

Oh, I'm on my second bottle now and I must say love love love. Such a nice, cosy, fresh and clean smell it is. Reminds me of the best kind of fresh laundry or some other cosmetics, which I just adore. Very inoffensive, I like to wear it in the winter as rather makes me feel warm and safe. Very girly, innocent and pure scent!

This is the true scent of cleanliness—bouquet of white fragrant flowers in a bedroom where fresh crisp sheets have just been laid. It’s perfect for the office and daytime wear, subtle and light. I feel a slight currant sourness and the aroma itself is generally similar to Byredo Blanche,which is I also recommend

Excellent scent I love this for spring and summer! It does smell like Blanche from Byredo but stronger and more floral! This is a white t shirt type of scent which can be worn by anyone but sits more on the feminine side. Wow it’s beautiful! Give this gem a try you won’t be disappointed! 10/10

Smells like fresh a sweet fruity shampoo. So clean and not overpowering. Very versatile for the day. However it wouldn’t last as long because of the notes as they aren’t as heavy. But if you like smelling like fresh crisp laundry or smelling like you just left the shower then this is for you.

I remember wearing it when I was at school and everyone liked it on me. Idk why people be hating on it now js bc it got really popular among teens. I don’t think it’s a bad thing. It’s really good for young girls, this perfume is fresh, citrus, clean and won’t get anybody irritated around you

Perfect, it smells like apple laundry detergent. So basically like Blanche with an apple note of top of it. Exactly what I was looking for. I adore those clean laundry scents and this is a new one in my clean laundry/fresh cotton collection. So basically Blanche with apple note. Great!

True to its "Toy" name, it reminds me of Barbie toy smell when I was a kid. Fruity, slightly like bubblegum ice-cream and almost generic, but for some reason I can't stop smelling it. Must be the nostalgia. Doesn't last very long and gets overpowered very easily though.

Easy-going, one of my most used fragrances when I want to feel and smell "clean" but don't have a mood for perfume. Smells clean, fruity, sweet - like a shampoo. Youthful, some may say it's a bit immature, but I enjoy it. Uplifting scent. I wear it all year round.

I'm a guy and wear this. It's so beautiful and yes, people who say dish soap (the green one) are actually correct xD It has a super fresh, fruity detergent vibe to it, which is becoming a niche these days any way, so this is a straight up banger.

One of my favorite perfumes in my collection by far. You can definitely smell both designers( both of my favorites) in the perfume (which is a good thing) I hope to find and buy more from both of the perfumers and Moschino 10/10 would recommend!

Usually not a fan of fruity florals but i love anything apple so this quickly became a staple. Smells like a sparkly apple and elderflower pitcher on a spring day. It's fresh but not soapy imo. Gotten me quite a few compliments in uni :)

I had this perfume for years and i use it generously because i don't fear the consequences of buying a new one the price of it is reasonable , the performance is so great and its more of a woman fragrance but a man can use it eventually

the smell of laundry detergent with fabric softener. like it. why not. It may not come out completely clean, but maybe a little dirty. for that i prefer more citrusy fresh tipe scent (maybe with orange bloosom or something like)

Alllll those notes, but I just smell lovely frothy bubble bath and soap. Clean and delightful. It’s all you need after a shower to delight in the beauty of being squeaky clean! I adore it. I never want to be without this bear.

Yup! I finally bought a scent that smells like a laundry additive, in a good, good way. The green apple seems to be the leitmotif and it's pretty to my nose. It's funny how it smells differently on my clothes, the next day.

This is such a timeless clean, fresh scent that it's hard to believe it hasn't been around that long. It's one of my go-to scents when I want to smell good without being overbearing or offensive to the nose.

A perfect "shampoo" scent. Sometimes i crave this clean "out of shower" scent. its my go to for when i m feeling that. Good lasting power.
