Fougere Originale

First and foremost congratulations! I believe you have placed India on the fragrance map , well and truly and literally. Lets start with how the presentation , the materials used are top class! I have many a niche fragrance and this can easily and effortlessly rub shoulders with the best, not only with its presentation but the quality is right up there. All my apprehensions are laid to rest after a couple of days of giving Fougere Originale a full wearing. Unique , long lasting , not exactly beast mode but definitely perceptible at an arm’s length. Wont go into the depths of what my nose can pick up or not but the combination surely exudes class , not easy to do a classy fresh fougere , but the master perfumer Olaf Larsen has displayed his skills beautifully. On the whole , I feel this needs to macerate just that tad bit to beautifully bloom... Cheers and looking forward to trying the entire line of Magnificent Moseha !!

Fougère Originale opens with a vibrant burst of citruses and spices, creating a refreshing top note. As it settles, the fragrance unfolds a rich lavender and earthy character with the warmth of sandalwood and oakmoss. Fougère Originale opens with bergamot and lavender, immediately establishing a sophisticated, clean fragrance profile. Soon after a beautiful sandalwood note emerges transforming the composition into a smooth creamy blend, that is a delight to the senses. Finally clean musk and oakmoss provide a woody, aromatic finish to the fragrance. The blend of ingredients is exquisite. This versatile fragrance could be the perfect signature scent for the office or business meetings imparting a comforting, confident presence.

What a beautiful blend of citrus with soft woody base! The Indian sandalwood here acts as the centre of attraction adorned by fresh zesty elements like citruses and lavender. Oakmoss and amber provides a beautiful support. Very sophisticated blend, more for day wear.

A very sophisticated Fougere fragrance. Very classy and quite enjoyable for me. Anyone who loves Fougere style fragrances should definitely give this one a try.

This is fresh clean and with a blast of spicy citrus, but still keeps that fresh touch. The florals come up with a soft projection and makes this a smooth scent. This is a beautiful take on the classic fougere scents, the creamy woody floral base makes this the best perfume for a daily office use. It smells class!!And moreover this leaves a beautiful musky woody drydown which becomes a skin scent. This makes you feel sophisticated and clean. Not my type but I do appreciate the way the scent is crafted.

Beyond easy to love. A very well orchestrated modern fougere. Easily 9/10
