Single Man

Little bit of a sentimental value for this one. Single Man was one of the first niche fragrances I sampled. At the time, I felt it was a good fragrance; how could I compare to anything else when I had only put my nose to 10 scents? Years later I decided to "blind-buy" it considering it was such a time since I smelled it. Today it is the same magical scent that it was prior. I find the lemon and ginger to round off the woods. It's a tad spicy, zingy fresh, and woody.

This is my favorite from the house so far. Unique and complex with an interesting modern metallic thing going on. Zingy lemon and ginger with woods. Seems to evolve a lot so far. Need to sample more. Could be a likable signature that still has appeal to people in the community that want something different. Still testing performance but it smells good enough I'd prob still buy, even if it ends up sitting a little closer to the skin than I'd like.

For me, this is a masterpiece. This is such a beautiful fragrance, so well blended. I find the woody note to be the focal point and everything else is so beautifully branched out from that. It’s everything and one thing at the same time.

God I LOVE this fragrance. Its so underrated - this is a great daily driver. Clean, Fresh, Slightly Soapy this is a sophisticated freshie for an adult man.

First, The perfume doesn't take me anywhere to a photo realistic place (which I love in a perfume). Initial burst of spices mingled with some dark (woodsy) notes has a certain mature feel about it. but soon it becomes a very citrus, very spicy and dark woodsy sort of concoction. Doesn't smell like a generic perfume. Patchouli note comes in strong after a few minutes together with the nutmeg note, they are followed with these dark incense notes which give it a sort of mystery but they are soon revealed and the perfume dries down quite remarkably and you end up with a patchouli based woody base. Its a very interesting metamorphosis and deserves praise and sampling. This could end up being a special perfume or a signature scent for someone, leaning more on the masculine side. On my skin, an aromatic lemon and ginger that’s grounded by subtle spice, amber, and woods that appear more as it dries down. I appreciate how long the ginger note sticks around. Probably can work in every season, but love it for summer nights.

It sort of reminds me of Terre D’Hermes EDT with a pinprick of rose oil. Metallic earthy citrus, mostly. Worth sampling. Actually, as it dries down the rose becomes more prominent. 7.8/10

Favorite one from one of my favortie brands. incorporated the movie really well, a lonely, clean, yet complicated fresh scent, just like the protagonist of the movie played by colin firth.

1:1 M7 Fresh. Very nice lemony, spicy ginger and woods.
