I own the Gris Charnel extrait and just an official sample of gris charnel edp. The edp smells like wet cardboard, but sweeter, totally mediocre for me, nothing special, though I can see the appeal it has for some people. The extrait is divine, one of my favorite fragrances ever. It checks every box the EDP doesn't. Now, Charisma sits somewhere in the middle. It doesn't check the box for that creamy thick dark sandalwood and fig base or the depth (it has depth, but not on the level of the extrait) of the extrait, but it is sweeter (not in a dupe-middle eastern way), stronger, more pleasant, while the iris, some tea, cardamon tonka, vetiver and some vanilla aspects are in main stage. It is so nice. Totally worth 60 bucks, no brainer if you love the DNA, I can assure you. Blind buy this if you love gris charnel, whichever variant. Without comparing this to anything else, it's just incredibly good in itself. I also get really good performance out of it. I'm not particularly drawn to cardamom or fig, but the combination in this is perfect for me. Without hesitation, this is a 10/10 to my nose.

I honestly prefer this over BDK no lie, this one is much yummier and sexier. Moudon I'm so glad I found you. This was my first and won't be my last.

Gris Charnel on steroids, leans more unisex as it is a bit sweeter.

Moudon is a brand that has yet to let me down. The fragrance quality, bottle design, atomiser, price, and closeness to the original scents is basically unbeatable. Charisma is veryyy close to Gris Charnel and I think I actually like it more than the OG. I didn't like the dry, woody mix of sandalwood and cardamom in the OG but Charisma is a bit sweeter, smoother, and less spicy. Longevity is fantastic and lasts all day. The dry down is my favourite part.

I bought it on ebay for £46.99, and even at this price, it's not worth it for me. It's not even close to the masterpiece that is Gris Charnel, especially the extrait. It smells like someone not experienced was trying to clone GC, but they're not very successful. It smells odd and incoherent. The blending skills are just not there.The big blast of alcohol in the opening doesn't help, neither. For me, it smells very woody, in a sandalwood kind of way. The fig, which is not a note but an accord, comes off as synthetic and messy. There's also an overdose of some fixative or aroma chemical that resembles Ambroxan, which comes off as screechy. To Redolessence on YT and every "influencer" who praised this shit: I hate you!

Blind buy. I expected some boring proto-oriental. Found out it smells like sexy sweat. In a good way! I sprayed it on to my skin and clothes and I went to bed. 7-8 hours later it still gives me strong whiffs. Sooo sexy! Crazy good and nothing like my designer flankers, no matter how expensive they are. For 50 Euro it's a still! Strongly recommend it!
