We enter a forest of light, but the start is dark, as you enter this forest you get hot by a strong smell of truffle as it is all over the place, the soil, is damp, the trees are a dark brown, they hit you with their aroma, a dark chocolate, as you go deeper in the forest the smell is going away as you are welcomed by a chorus of black orchids singing in awe as they welcome you in the heart of the forest.

One of the best inspirations of TF Black Orchid. While the fragrance is impressive upon the first sniff, it truly stands out once it has had time to macerate. After sitting and blooming, the scent becomes outstanding—deep and noir with a more pronounced orchid note. I have several other fragrances from the MPF line, and I find them all to be of exceptionally high quality.

I feel like this is a spot on and faithful to its inspiration with more boost on the orchid notes. This will be great for dressing up during the evening. I can really smell the spices and star anise in this perfume. Quite affordable and spot on.
