Orchid Noir

I fully agree with Dychotomous' review. Orchid Noir is a very nice, inexpensive, Black Orchid clone that is toned-down and wears closer to the skin. Longevity is in the 8+ hour range and this fragrance projects moderately on my skin. Wear Black Orchid was you're in formal attire--since it's the more elegant, refined and bombastic choice--and in need of bombastic performance and wear Orchid Noir for casual, semi-formal, evening's out. Excellent fragrance.

سلام این عطر بویی بین بلک ارکید و نویر اکستریم تام فرد داره، ماندگاری زیادی ندارد (سه چهار ساعت) و پخش بوی اون نسبتا خوبه بوی اون شیرینه و همه پسند (خیلی خوشبو و عالی) نسبت به قیمتش واقعا عالیه و ارزش خرید بسیار بسیار بالایی داره، من دو تا از اونو خریدم و خیلی راضی هستم اون موقعی که خریدم قیمت نویر اکستریم تام فرد تو رنج ۷۰۰ و بلک ارکید هم تو رنج ۷۰۰ هزار تومان بود ولی قیمت این عطر یک دهم این عطرهاست و کیفیت قابل قبول و بوی بسیار عالی ای داره

Lovely fragrance! Somehow, I smell coconut on this one as well.

I can confirm that this fragrance is indeed another version of Tom Ford's Black Orchid. I have tested this fragrance myself. From the website where I ordered it the notes are different from what Fragrantica is currently showing. According to the website the notes are: black orchid (interesting how they listed "black" Orchid as a note), bergamot, fruity notes, patchouli, sandalwood, chocolate, vanilla. To my nose Orchid Noir is a more deeper darker version of Black Orchid. I find TF Black Orchid to be more "bright" which I think comes from the vetiver. While the chocolate and the vanilla in Orchid Noir gives it a more deep and darker effect. And because of that I would choose Orchid Noir over Black Orchid. However scent-wise these are not the type of fragrance that fits me. I have seen Orchid Noir going for 35 euros for a 100 ML Bottle. It's no doubt a much affordable alternative.

@Dychotomous I just can't understand how they get away with blatantly ripping off such a unique perfume as "Black Orchid". Clothing retailers get sued for making cheap knock offs of expensive designer items that are too aesthetically similar to the original. The composition here is almost identical to Tom Ford's. It doesn't give them much credibility as a perfume house that's for sure.

As compared to the pricy original (TF), this Orchid Noir clone offers quite close resemblance in scent profile, sillage, at approx. 1/6 price. The 100 ml bottle I got (batch: 23F215G1P) however, is round black, with box package similar to Dior Sauvage Elixir

Oh God, this is a black orchid's little sister, they are really similar, but this version has more powerful chocolate note or maybe it's the orchid itself! I really can’t dedicate more differences than this!! they are 95% the same

Well for the funny fact that "Black orchid" is a women fragrance and Orchid noir a men's, I find the opposite works better for me!

Looks like a complete rip off of Tom Ford's "Black Orchid". Notes, name, everything.
