Smells Like WD-40

From the nozzle, it’s reminiscent of WD-40 but quite powdery. However, on application, it quickly becomes “dirtier” and louder; very realistic as if I got actual WD-40 on me. Just like Smells Like Fabuloso, the people at MSCHF executed these fragrances perfectly, much to the chagrin of ironically unironic hypebeasts. Disregarding the brand, I’d take this and the other perfume as face value: an arguably cool novelty that creates a conversation. I can’t say much at the moment of sillage and longevity because I had just sprayed this on as I’m writing this, but to be honest, it would be moot to base your purchase of this off of performance quality. Perfume can be fun, and this is a great example of it.

Unironically love this! Was hoping for something like this from the Comme Des Garcons "Synthetic" series (and it would be taken more seriously if it were released under that line) but nothing in that line cuts to the chase like this. I was worried that although I liked the idea of wearing something like this that it would ultimately be unpleasant to wear over hours, but it's surprisingly agreeable to my nose throughout its life. Wish it wasn't being released from such a gimmicky brand (which is why many will write it off in the first place). The Fabuloso one is fantastic, too! That is, if you're looking for something like this and don't just see it as a novelty item.

This fragrance is a 10/10! I went to school and when I was edging, someone walked into the restroom! My alpha juice was all over and my 15 inch Johnson was laying on the ground! I also walked to the lunch lady and she smelled this fragrance and squirted. I couldn’t resist! She had a level 69 Hyatt and my nut rocket went all over her face! Mr.Belding saw this and pulled me into his office! I started mogging him and sent him to the brainrot universe! My fragrance smelled so good that I couldn’t hold it in and filled the entire school with my edge. This fragrance is a 10/10

Pretty authentic take on WD-40 -- maybe a little more straight gasoline than WD-40 specifically The opening is the most true motor oil scent, and then the gaseous scent dissipates over time becoming more of a sweet vanilla. I do wish the headiness of the opening lasted for longer. Plays very well layering with other gritty notes: cannabis, vetiver, leather

Exactly as described, no notes. Actually, one note: if I was a single person and wanted to lure a mate, I'd douse myself in this and loiter at a home improvement center or auto parts place and just wait. They wouldn't even know why they were so drawn to me and they'd continue to be confused until they were firmly in my grasp and building me a house.

It is a joke fragrance, what do you really expect when buying wd40 scented cologne. I went through a phase in middle school where I always wanted to smell like I was fresh out of the workshop and this scent takes me back to the days of spraying wd40 onto my pulse points every morning before school, without the oily mess or cringe factor.

Its WD-40. Suprisingly wearable. You will smell like a sexy mechanic. It's $40 just buy it if you were considering.

Bang-on exactly like WD-40 smell. It smells good to me, I like industrial stuff like this though. If you don't like the actual smell of WD-40 this is not for you. It's not a joke fragrance, it's a purposeful satire item from a design house that pushes artistic boundaries. I repeat: yes- this is a real fragrance, yes- it smells like WD-40. And a tad of vanilla sweetness. No other notes to pick up on, really.

So Fragrantica chooses to categorize the smell of WD-40 as an 'Oriental Vanilla', ...hmm. Clearly too many different scents are being shoehorned into the same, now-antiquated categories, families, accords, and notes.

You're buying whats advertised. I like the smell of WD-40, some might not. There's nothing else here note wise, its just WD-40. You're buying WD-40.
