Alien Goddess

Oh my God. I have finally found my signature fragrance. Alien Goddess is pure bliss. Absolute olfactory heaven. Masterpiece. I would never assume it was made in 2021 as it seems to belong to the era of intense and majestic high quality designer perfumes from my childhood (2000s) and reminds me of many wonderful, mystical things I smelled as a kid. Alas, there's no way for me to track them down now, seeing as I didn't know anything about perfume back then and hardly remember who or what smelled so appealing. Nevertheless, I found it all in Alien Goddess. I found everything I've always been looking for, both as a kid, fascinated by the wonderous world of perfumery, and as an adult desperately trying to find my perfect scent. In my childhood I always imagined that girls that smell this way are spoiled rotten by their men/families, always dressed to the nines, vacation in the best most secluded spots, never have problems in their love life, excel at the subject of etiquette, read sophisticated foreign books and have the most endearing smile. This is what happiness smelled like to me as a child. Being full of love and joy. On a few occasions when I was Christmas shopping with my mom, someone would pass by smelling of a similar perfume and I thought that it would make, like, the best gift from Santa ever. And now that I smelled Alien Goddess, I instantly recognized my scent of happiness in it. I've been on cloud nine ever since it touched my skin. Overall I'd say it takes the best out of 2000s perfumes and masterfully combines girlish naivete (like that of Juicy Couture) with refinedness of a lady (like that of D&G). It is sweet in the most sophisticated manner. There are many gorgeous, alluring sweet perfumes but this is one of the few that smell classy and luxurious as well. Very womanly but not matronly, very youthful but not juvenile, carefree yet not devoid of depth. Note-wise this is the very first perfume where one of my no go notes, bergamot, doesn't bother me at all, and nor does heliotrope. The latter I don't sense at all whereas the former plays a complementary role and doesn't interfere with the beauty of the composition by making it overly citrusy or bitter. It remains a sweet, creamy and cozy perfume with gourmand undertones - not totally edible but still unsuitable for those who are completely opposed to gourmands. It is also extremely well blended, there's a special sort of harmony about it, as if each note like a piece of the puzzle fits perfectly together and you no longer view them as separate pieces but as one complete picture. In this picture I see mystical otherworldly beauty, making the name of the fragrance very becoming. A scent from heavens above, it is. It starts off quite intense but while the perfume itself is long-lasting, that intensity is short-lived. By the end of the day it begins to show traces of the prickly and bitterish-woody Alien DNA which is an interesting twist given how it differs from Alien and how different it is in the beginning. I'd never call it boring or generic, but then again I'm not really into Mugler, and Alien Goddess not being your typical Mugler style was what initially caught my attention. I have seriously never in my life resonated with a fragrance more than I do with Alien Goddess. It's the scent of my soul. So comforting, so nourishing, so personal. In this very moment I feel like I want to wear it every day for the rest of my life, and while I certainly will crave other perfumes soon, Alien Goddess will become a staple in my collection, for I have never smelled anything more divine and closer to the elusive feeling of happiness.

Beachy, vanilla, powdery, coconut, white floral, woody, citrusy, musky, floral, radiant, feminine, sensual, seductive, charming, delightful, uplifting, alluring, tempting, addictive, inviting, cozy, comforting On me this opens with refreshing coconut water and radiant and tart bergamot. The heart blooms with lush jasmine and floral and vanilla-y heliotrope. The dry down grows more sensual with powdery bourbon vanilla and cozy and woody cashmeran. This definitely gives beachy vibes. Think of the warm sun on bare skin, a luxe coconut and vanilla sun tan lotion, a gentle salty ocean breeze carrying the scent of lush jasmine and citrusy bergamot, and cozy cashmeran. To me this feels feminine to me, and like it can easily suit women of all ages. I think this works best during the warmer weather of spring, summer, and early fall. I think it’s fitting for any occasion from casual to fancy, including work/school. I was very surprised to find this similar to Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid (one of my top favorites!), except minus the green banana note, and with additional coconut, jasmine, cashmeran, and a radiant citrusy bergamot. They both have this delightful powdery and airy vanilla to them, they’re both very summer-y scents, and both are easy reaches. I also get similarities to Beach Walk, Alien Goddess Intense, JHAG Vanilla Vibes, SDJ Rio Radiance/87, Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus, Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, and Valentino DBIR The Gold. I’m a huge fan of beachy/coconut scents, especially during the summer, and this is one of the best. This is especially good for those looking for luxe sun tan lotion scent. For reference, some of my other favorites in this particular category include Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus, Kilian Sunkissed Goddess, Yves Rocher Monoi Eau des Vahines, Bobbi Brown Beach, Kayali Maui in a Bottle, Maldives in a Bottle, JHAG Vanilla Vibes, Lust For Sun, Phlur Beach Skin, Ellis Brooklyn Sand, BBW Coco Paradise, Meet Me in Miami I get really good performance with Alien Goddess. The longevity is on the strong side as it lasts 7-8+ hours on my skin. This is such a beautiful beachy, coconut, vanilla! It brings to mind long days spent on a tropical beach, warm Sun on bare skin, white sand and clear aqua water, with lush tropical flowers on a gentle ocean breeze. It also has just a touch of a luxe Sun tan lotion scent. It’s definitely full bottle worthy, and would make a lovely choice for a signature scent. I also consider it to be a safe blind buy. To me this feels very feminine, and suitable for women of all ages. This feels most wearable during the spring, summer, and fall because of the beachy feel, but it also has that cozy woody vanilla that makes it work in cooler weather. This feels most fitting for casual occasions, date nights, and work/school. I get great performance with Alien Goddess. The longevity is very good, at least 7-8 hours on my skin. The projection is moderate, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me. Beautiful, Beachy, sweet, bright, fresh, luminous, radiant, floral, warm, woody, powdery, musky, feminine, sensual, flirty, chic, charming, uplifting, inviting, cozy, versatile On me this opens with tropical and refreshing coconut water, bright bergamot, and lush jasmine with soft whiffs of fresh heliotrope. Further into the dry down it warms up some with sweet and sensual bourbon vanilla, and cozy cashmeran. I do also notice just a very subtle Sun tan lotion like scent, but nothing too prominent at all. The notes that are the most prominent on me are the coconut water, jasmine, and bourbon vanilla, all which last well throughout the wear. I’m a huge fan of beachy/coconut fragrances, and own quite a few as part of my collection. I actually find this one to be somewhat unique because even though it has that beautiful beachy vibe it also has those lovely bourbon vanilla and cashmeran notes which add a really nice warmth and coziness to it. The combination makes this a fresh and beachy, yet warm and cozy scent. So, to me it’s a more versatile option that could even work nicely as a signature fragrance. This feels feminine to me, and like it can easily suit women of all ages. I do personally prefer wearing this the most during the spring and summer, summer, and early fall, but I think it really can work throughout the whole year. I think it’s suitable for pretty much all occasions including work and/or school. It’s also a pretty overall crowd pleasing fragrance that’s also non-offensive. I get great performance with Alien Goddess. The longevity is very good, it lasts the majority of the day on me. The projection is nice, it radiates out about 2-3 feet from me. tldr; 3/5 basic but done so well ! beautiful scent that’s perfectly creamy, bright, sweet and warm in hot weather BUT has to macerate for better/average performance my first impression of this perfume was phenomenal, i sprayed around a spray or two on a tester sheet from sephora and had it in my wallet and not only was the smell so delectable that i would think about it often and open up my wallet to smell it again, the longevity was insane as it was still present for a bit over a month afterwards (all of june) the scent itself is THE scent of the summer imo. soft florals and coconut water give alien goddess an almost refreshing and bright profile but once it sits on the skin the vanilla in here gives the scent a creaminess that is warm and sweet that isn’t cloying in the hot summer weather. perfect for literally any summer activity whether you’re grabbing ice cream, going to the beach or having a bonfire the scent is versatile because it’s so linear. i can’t fully give this a 5/5 though more like a 3/5 (for now). idk if it’s because i got a new bottle but mugler the house that is known for longevity and projection has disappointed me because a fresh bottle doesn’t have those qualities. a new bottle barely projects and i can hardly smell this perfume a couple of hours in let alone at the end of the day. my body mist from walmart has better longevity and silage then this. i’ve tried everything i can layering wise to make alien goddess last and project better (body mist, body oil, vaseline, sunscreen and moisturized skin) but i think i just have to let this bottle sit to develop for a bit but that’s disappointing, i bought this to use for the summer and if i let it sit summers going to practically be over. in all honesty i don’t overspray this (4 sprays max) but i feel like if i did it would make a difference though not a big one. if you want to buy definitely buy and let this macerate a month or two in advance.

I just picked up a small 1oz bottle of this because the reviews are all over the place and I’m not into powdery fragrances and am also very picky about my vanillas. I’m kind of disappointed in myself because I love it!! Here we are again with another Nathalie Lorson creation! I adore her compositions! Not to forget about her collaborators, but any fragrance with her name on it usually works for me!! My taste isn’t always mainstream so it’s ok if it’s not the most popular opinion, but I really find this beautiful! It is a departure from the original Alien but there is a little something in the dna that you can tell they’re related somehow. This is the girly version. It smells a bit like something I’ve smelled before and liked. Not sure what. It is such a great blend. Not one note overtakes the other. I don’t find it too powdery nor too vanilla. It’s perfect! I don’t even pick up the coconut, but it’s in there! Which is the reason I almost feel like this could be worn any season, however it probably shines the brightest in the warmer weather!

i loveee this fragrance. if i had to save just one perfume from my collection, this would be it. i know the coconut note makes it more summery, but idc, im wearing this any time of year because it has a perfect combination of sweet and floral without being too heavy. its a beautiful, sexy and versatile scent. almost every time ive worn this out ive gotten compliments, no matter the season or occassion (school, night out, spring, winter etc) the projection is insane!! during the summer months i love layering this with the vs coconut passion body mist to really bring out the coconut, because on my skin the coconut fades away in like 1-2 hours and im left with a sweet, cashmere scent for the rest of the 4 hours it stays on my skin (in general around 4 hours during the summer time, 6 in the colder months)

Sorry @Susu895 I totally get you. I understand the attachment your have to the brand but things change and evolve. Mugler still has the gems that people liked in the 90s/2000s (angel, alien...). But there’s a new market and they want to appeal to that market too, new Genz and very young milenials are more attracted to scents like Alien Goddess. With this new wave of Sol the Janeiro sprays and tropical scents being trendy Mugler saw an opportunity and they delivered. I am glad they did because this is the only Mugler I like. Anyway, I was on the train and this girl was wearing it, I immediately clocked it was Alien Goddess. The whole train smelled sooo beautiful and intoxicating. Even heard other people commenting “it smells so nice in here”.

I was scratching around the web looking for a nice coconut fragrance. I have Harajuku by Gwen from some years ago, however it just wasn't quite what I was needing. I also dug out an old bottle of Meterorites by Guerlain, it's really nice after sitting for years, but nope....not doing it either. Thanks to Fragrantica, I found Alien Goddess. I got it today! Wow, this is really gorgeous. It is a very nice smooth coconut with some delicate vibes. So far I've had it on for about 4+ hours, and it still is lovely. It get betters by the hour! The perfect scent for heading into summer. I needed a change, and this is a pleasant one. I had got bitten by the coconut bug, and I found the perfect remedy! Thank you Fragrantica.....

I love both this and intense so much, its hard for me to choose. Although, maybe intense still takes the lead by just a little bit. Its funny because I actually feel like this is one is more intense and has a stronger projection, while intense is a little closer to skin but fuller and deeper. This one also has more visible coconut. It does give me a tropical scent vibe, a little bit like Giorgio Armanis My way ylang-ylang. Its just so pretty. Now I dont know which one to choose! The scent trail on this is so strong, much more than intense. And I really love fragrances that do what its supposed to do, for us to be able to smell it all the time! lol Edit: I decided to go with intense.

Love her. Perfect for summer date nights. Feminine; but not insipid. Tropical; but not corny. The musk and florals elevate her out of the beachy body spray type category. The boozy vanilla and cashmeran almost go caramel here and add depth and a warm sexiness while the coconut places her solidly in summertime. You could layer her with something fresh or elegant with similar notes for springtime if you wanted soften the gourmand notes,elevate her vibe further, or lighten her up for especially hot summer days. You could also give her even more sultry vibes for summer date night by layering a deeper vanilla fragrance. I feel she's very "grown up" tropics/resort

I am very grateful to have it as advance, is a glorious vanilla scent!!, nothing in common with super well-known regular Alien, this is completely different, creamy white floral where the coconuty cashmere vanilla makes its artistic and magical apparition. Is an easygoing and aura fragrance, you feel it like a veil, good noses makes it possible. Utterly feminine and spectacular performance, congratulations!!, total change, very challenging, has a powdery vanilla coconut with a not beachy vibe, warmer truly. Has some reminiscence, little bit, to the sweetness of Womanity, at least on my skin, the woody sweet edge, is incredible!.

I just discovered this one, but it’s already in my top 3 favorite summer fragrances. I’ll wear it any time of year because it has a cozy warmth to it that always feels appropriate, but the coconut makes it slightly summer leaning I suppose. It’s soft, not overly coconutty or bright (how some summer fragrances tend to be), sensual, feminine, gorgeous. For reference, my other favorite summer fragrances are Leisure in Paradise, and Maui in a Bottle. I have no idea how this one doesn’t have a higher rating. It’s truly beautiful, 9/10. ETA: This is one of my top 10 favorite fragrances right now. It is immediately enchanting.

It's crazy how I forgot how good this is. I ended up getting the intense version a while ago which is more heavy on the jasmine and vanilla; better for cooler weather. The original Alien Goddess is fresh, sweet, and juicy in the best possible way. It's the epitome of summer at the beach. It takes me back to the summers I'd go to Las Vegas with the family to check out the cool pools, covered in sunscreen, an indescribable "vacation scent" always wafting in the air. The dry down almost gives me coconut cream pie vibes, or perhaps a coconut ice cream. One of the best coconut scents out there for certain. <3

So I am writing this from the airport - I randomly sprayed this on and was so mesmerised I just had to buy it! It smells of a beach holiday, sexy glistening bodies and summer love! It is a very feminine perfume and I recommend for all girly girlies out there. It exudes femininity, playfulness and romance. I the vanilla is the main accord but it is not overpowering, it does remind me of Prada Paradoxe a little. Longevity is weak like others have said - lasted approx 2h on my skin and 4+ on clothing, so I wouldn’t say it performs terribly, but in comparison with the original Alien it performs poorly .

This is so unusual for a Mugler fragrance. It’s very ‘work’ safe and not as polarising as Angel and OG Alien, so if you disliked those, you will probably love this. To my nose, this has no Alien DNA whatsoever, but I really like it. It’s very fresh and floral with creamy coconut and vanilla. Very wearable for all occasions, especially for summer as it does have that suncream vibe. I can also see myself wearing it during the dead of winter to remind me of warm summer days. If you’re a vanilla lover and looking for something that’s not going to get sickly sweet in the summer heat, try this.

Alien Goddess is definitely my favorite Alien. Agree to some that say it’s not a good resemblance of original Alien but it’s still amazing especially if you like creamy vanilla with the touch of coconut. I always get compliments whenever I wear this but unfortunately it doesn’t last that long. I recommend wearing it with a coconut body lotion and vanilla/jasmin body mist of your choice to make it last longer. Worth trying if you wanna feel the vibe of a hot and chic summer evening✨

This is so beautiful! Fresh and airy, like a sea breeze, very solar and ambery smelling perfume. Goddess is literally the best name for this fragrance. I imagine Aphrodite smelling like this. Not as powdery as I thought it would be, which is great. So feminine and sexy, wow! So much better than the Goddess Intense and OG Alien. Performance is also great. Don't listen to some of the reviews below, just try it yourself. Perfect signature scent. Thank you Mugler!

One of the best airy vanillas out there. I simply love it; whenever I spray it I feel like I'm cozying up on the beach, taking sips from my coconut water and it's beginning of summer when you can still feel cold & breezy in the sun. Then I look around and realize I got a cute lil sun tan because I applied too little sunscreen. Smells sweet but bright, smells tropical but it will stay for longer than other "tropical" scents. I just love it from start to finish.

crazy, crazy stuff. at first it opens a bit synthetic-like, not gonna lie. but once it accentuates on the skin it's literally SO creamy and yet so summery. so sunscreen like. it's the feeling of your skin being hot and coarse from the sun. it's salty, it's sea, sand, coconut... it's a summer day in a bottle. and i can't stop smelling the paper sample. i'm so sorry, i get why it's so hyped. i feel like i'm gonna get high on this. (just ordered a bottle... yup)

smells like a sundrenched summer vacation. lost in the crowd at the mall with your friends. vanilla lip gloss. white flowers planted around a fountain beneath a skylight. something sweet outside the food court mingles in the air with the powders and perfumes drifting from the nordstrom make up counter. we're going to the pool later. carefree and fun but also exhilirating, like flirting for its own sake <3

Call me basic I don’t care. I’m obsessed with this!! Yes the performance isn’t great. I want to reparation every hour but omg the scent is orgasmic!!! If it was stronger this would be making everyone I walk past fall in love! I know it’s a “mass appealing” version of “what mugler used to be but no longer is” blah blah blah..... it’s good, ok!? It’s great! Delicious! And I got it for a good price!

Smells exactly how I imagined and I’m quite pleased. It has that beachy coconut solar note and white floral dna that I absolutely love in summer. It’s a bit sunscreen-y but not too much. I love it for its casual simplicity for summer. Will probably layer well with a few scents from Saltair’s bath & body line or Sol de Janeiro. Curious to try the Intense flanker, now.

The summer I fell in love for the first time, this is what my bedsheets smelled like every morning; sunscreen from when we would go to the tennis courts, alcohol still on our breaths from nights out, a sweet coconut scent that always lingered on his forehead from his shampoo. If you don’t like sunscreen-y perfumes it’s definitely not for you, but I love them.

This perfume was a gift from friends for my birthday! The coconut and bourbon vanilla in this fragrance yum! I own a lot of fragrances but none have ever gotten me as much compliments as this one, every single time I wear it. It’s long lasting, it projects incredibly well. Summer in a bottle. Reminds me a lot of Terra do Giorgio by Armani.

This is clean. Like a cleaning product. Like pool chemicals. Suntan lotion. (positive) Smells like an old bath and body works scent I used to have that was green and I can't recall the same of. This is Fruitger aero. This is Wet and floral. You wear this to the pool. This is like those sexy macro photos of flower petals after a rain.

my girlfriend's signature scent, and i bought this just to have and i love it, amazing vanilla, warm, feminine, and very versatile smell, she gets many compliments from it, coming from a guy i think this is worth the price and overall a good anyday scent, and i absolutely love smelling it overall: versatile, mass appealing scent

Smells sweet, feminine, fresh. Light non offensive unlike other Alien scents. It smells EXACTLY to me like Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen the radiating (shimmer) one, cream bottle "sheer touch" I buy the sunscreen just because it smells pretty. So to me I consider it a summer beachy scent. I hate the bottle.

I do not understand negative reviews, me and my daughters have huge designer collections and this is one that will always have a place in them. It's vibrant and gives off happy vibes, it absolutely lasts and fills a room beautifully. My happy perfume, wearing this in winter to help from feeling dreary.

I bought this one right when it lanced and it’s been my summer signature ever since. Currently on the 3rd bottle and I adore this smell and I get so much compliments on it. Beautifully done summer vanilla, smells like a high end sunscreen to me. I would like to get married with this scent one day.

this makes up for how much i hate angel. what a beautiful, delicious fragrance! you can never go wrong with coconut + heliotrope + vanilla. this is the first fragrance i have EVER smelled, however that i don't really love the jasmine note, but the rest more than makes up for it. 8/10? perhaps a 9.

I'm at my most homosexual while wearing this perfume. I adore it. The coconut and vanilla are immature and pleasant and strong and girly. I live for being able to tell people the stupid name of what I'm wearing. It's almost camp. It's nice to be simple sometimes, and Alien Goddess is simply nice.

It's very strong when first sprayed but it dries down beautifully. I love the coconut and vanilla. Of course the jasmine. You won't need to spray much of it. I wouldn't say it's a favourite but glad I purchased and I got it reduced in price. Edit : I'M INLOVE. Up there with top vanilla scents 🤍

Like being slathered in Vacation sunscreen with an Helados Mexico coconut ice cream bar in hand while you relax on the beach on a perfectly sunny day! LA jasmine blooming all around you! I absolutely love this perfume, it is so joyful! I feel fresh and pretty when I wear it 🌺

vibes: ✨🌞🌿🥥 a sweet, bright, slightly tropical, and pretty scent 🥰 very non-offensive and easy to like! sillage isn't crazy and it doesn't last very long, so for that i would say it's a tad overpriced but still v pretty 🤗

may be my favourite vanilla scent -- a nice coconut shake by the beach house... or a really nice hug from the excessively sweet friend, with a fluffy white coat. it feels wintery to me in that way but I'm not sure why

Ok so this has nothing to do with the ALIEN family but it does have its time and place. This is perfect for hot summer days or out the shower. A good vanilla coconut fragrance to go with some coconut body cream.

Pure sunscreen, in the best way. Fresh coconut mixed with vanilla, jasmine, and a touch of citrus - a great summer fragrance for those who tend to prefer vanillas and sweet ambers, in my opinion. Love it, 8/10!

This perfume is sooooooo underrated. I have tried sooooo many summer perfumes and none compare to this!!! I will always have this in my collection. Strong, beautiful, sparkling and long lasting, just gorgeous!

I've been in love with this perfume since the first time I smelled it. Now I finally got it and I love it; it's fresh and sweet at the same time with a floral touch, and the coconut gives it a summery feel.

I don't usually like gourmands at all, but woah, this one is amazing. It's sweet in just the right way, and has a slight freshness to it, so far it's the best of all the aliens to me.

I dont usually like soapy, perfumey, florals but this is good. I find it gently soapy, sunscreeny, light sweetness, floral and coconutty. It's an easy reach day time summer fragrance.

Beautiful creamy coconut with a lot of florals and some vanilla. It does steer towards sunscreen territory, but the vanilla balances it out. Amazing for the summer.

I’m obsessed with this fragrance. It’s a jasmine bomb with an amazing coconut note that is incredibly mood enhancing and uplifting. Highly recommend. Easy reach.

I just want to say that this perfume smells amazing, almost like a sunblock cream, but in Perfume You can smell the coconut and the vanilla, which is amazing
