Angel Aqua Chic 2013

This is SO juicy and yummy! I wear the original Angel EDP quite often, but I'm constantly receiving negative comments about how strong it is.. Hopefully this will be a nice alternative for the warmer days, because patchouli can easily become a monster. I'm loving the combination of apple and patchouli. It's very fresh, tangy, sharp, juicy, and it has just enough variety to make it different from Angel, but still similar in the same oriental-patchouli vibe. This is a PERFECT Spring scent, because it's bold and strong enough to make a statement, but still gentle and fruity enough to work well with the temperature and humidity. This one won't make you smell like a sweaty hippie like the original Angel EDP can do to you in the warmer climates. I typically combine my Angel EDP with Paris Hilton for Men to create my own sort of tropical, fruity Angel...but this is definitely much better and much more convenient! :)

This is a fresher and subtler version of Angel for Spring and Summer, where both patchouli and sweetness have been toned down. It's gentle and polite but is still unmistakably Angel, this is no wallflower. Pretty similar to Angel EDT in the comet bottle, but with freshness replacing the EDT's pink pepper note. Raspberry is very present without being syrupy and juvenile like it usually is in more recent Angel flankers. But patchouli is the most beautiful note here. It's fresh, green and woody without the dusty, ashtray or metallic tones it often has in other fragrances, and is still develops its lovely dark chocolate note in the far dry down. This is one of the most beautiful patchoulis I've ever smelled in a perfume and I'm so sad this is only a limited edition. Because I'm definitely going to buy several backups. I'm in love.

Oh the original Angel .. how much I love it .. but its too heavy and I hate the dark chocolate notes .. But this one is fresher, sharper, more wearable for sure and creamy ! . I can smell the sweet & tender sharpness of the raspberry blossoms mixed with the sour green apple .. The result is a stunning beauty from Mr. Mugler this year .. I am in love .. I imagine wearing this at a party with heels & red lip stick ! Lasting power & sillage are excellent ..

Don t understand why my nose detects something completely différent from thé pyramid scent cause for thé first stage it s for me very exotic fruits liké pineapple with passion fruits mixed with spices and the second stage it is sweet like patchouli caramel and thé final stage it is very very spicy like medical scent but softer than Angel nearly male scent coriander +santal very very Woody .it s a gem very addictive like angel but more attractive .love it

i just woke up with the very dry down and its Vanille, patsch ans sonething bitter - i swear there mzst be also vetiver in it. Its kinda masculine now

28. april 2013 WOW!!! If i didn ́t know it was a flanker to my signature fragrance i would never guess, actually, that this fragrance with amazing lasting power is an "Angel". Honestly, it has no resemblance to the original and a fairest resemblance to the Angel EDT. It is nothing like the previous summer flankers of Angel. Last year was ok, it was still Angel, You could guess by unmistakable scent mix of patchouli and choclate, it was just lighter. This year i DON ́T smell ANY patchouli at all in it. I don ́t uderstand how people rated patchouli the strongest note in here, when it is all about raspberry and rose. Ok, the patchouli is present in a most lightest trace in a drydown, but all you smell all the way is raspberry (the kind of body mist scent raspberry, quite artificial) and beautiful rose. Ok, apple??? hmmm.... Maybe there IS some, but i can ́t quite smell any. This is as far from original Angel as it can be, i would say completly different scent, honestly. I gave to smell it to several people and while they liked it, none have guessed that this was an Angel. And they all know Angel, because i use it often and a lot of it. AMAZNG lasting power for over 24hrs on my wrists (after many handwashes i can still smell traces of it, amazing!). Sillage is also very nice, but i repeat that this is absolutly different fragrance to my nose. And no, i have compared it to the Angel EDT and they ARE different. Lovely surprise from Mugler company, i will certainly get it for my collection! HAPPY SCENT!!

This smells like a mix of Angel EDT (the old comet version) with its tangy berry opening, Angel Sucree (all versions) with its yummy sweetness, Innocent (remember when it was called Angel Innocent?) with the crisp airiness, and very slightly Angel Sunessence EDT Legere with its freshness closer to the base. If you own any of the above mentioned (with the exception of Sunessence, as they're only slightly similar at the base), I don't think you need to hunt Aqua Chic 2013 down. I'm glad I found a decant, because otherwise I would have just gotten a full bottle, which I apparently don't need. To those who have no idea what other fragrances I was talking about, the opening is tangy juicy fruity, the body gets fresher, and at the very base you get that patchouli that the OG Angel is so famous for, but in a very polished and clean form. After a while what remains is a fresh whisper that is slightly reminiscent of the OG Angel patchouli. It's a very pleasant summer fragrance, really.

I am loving this! A fantastic fragrance for the warmer season. I spritzed this on and went over to my friends place to walk her dog. It was hot and I was sweating but the more my body heated up, the better this beauty smelled on me. The patchouli is blended so nicely with the other notes. Even though I do like patchouli, sometimes it can be a little overbearing but that's not the case with this perfume. It's light, soft, airy, fresh and aloof but still manages to maintain a certain classy appeal. Wearing it is a truly pleasant experience. Personally, I think this fragrance easily stands on its own merits, away from the original Angel which I am admittedly not a fan of. When I first tested this fragrance at the store I was pleasantly surprised and relieved that it was nowhere near as offensive to my nose as I find the original Angel to be. They did a great job creating this scent and I believe they achieved their goal of the perfect summertime perfume.

This is a trickster of a scent: it's basically just good old Angel, with a thin layer of fresh summery fruit notes on top to seduce you into wearing it in the warm months. The opening is bright and juicy indeed, but very soon Angel's characteristic strong, mellow patchouli/vanilla/borderline chocolatey base starts creeping more and more into the spotlight. The transition between these two is actually very nice as well, but at the end of the day I'm stuck wearing a bonafide gourmand, and however much I like it, it's just way too hot for that. Of course it's not nearly as heavy as the original Angel is, and the fact that we're living through the hottest summer since 2003 probably isn't helping either, but still! This one isn't bad, but if I feel like wearing Angel, which will probably happen around December, I think I'll stick to Angel.

Angel Aqua Chic 2013 hits the skin with a strong, herbal and raw patchouli along with sparkling and crisp green apple. However, it soon dries down into a creamy rose and vanilla decorated with sour apple and berries, and the patchouli mellows and hides behind the creamy curtain. I find it closer to Eau de Star than Angel, as patchouli and vanilla in this version doesn't create a chocolate-y aroma like in Angel. The longevity is around 6 or 7 hours and the sillage is close. Overall it's refreshing and a good option as a non-aquatic spring and summer fragrance. I don't think it'll be offensive unless overapplied. However, I still suggest testing before buying as I find the patchouli for the first few minutes can still be quite strong for some tastes.

I remember how much I loved this one back in 2013. The Angel Aqua Chic 2012 was my introduction to Angel and I was obsessed with that one for a whole summer. Then the 2013 version came along and I was blown away by the raspberry note that took Aqua Chic 2013 to another level. Difficult to say if I would still feel the same way about it today or if I would have grown out of the sweet patchouli berry combo. I love the original Angel so chances are that I would still appreciate both of the Aqua Chics as a summer flanker today.

I got this gem today, and really is very nice, fresh, crisp, spicy but not heavy. Perfect perfume when is hot and humid. The more the body heats the more the perfume evolves. Reminds me a lot of the lagoon sunessence Angel which I also have. Thank goodness is far similar to the original Angel which is misty and suffocating. The bottle is very nice, sillage medium and longevity excellent for an etd. Once again stuck with Mugler's perfume. I can't help it. I am addicted.

happy to meet this beauty and didn't know its angel flanker I fell in love cant believe its related to angel .the original angel is too fruity and heavy to my taste while 2013 aqua chic is ( A combo all what I like in one bottle). it Is a treat and comfort scent .sophisticated and super femenine . opening is rich and juicy then creamy woody powdery base.GREAT sillage and longevity ( for aqua??? and summery??)love it well done TM

I have a sample size of this, and I'm glad I do. It's similar to regular Angel. Too similar for me to buy a full size. If you already have Angel, I don't think this is different enough to warrant a full size unlike say the liquor version which is more unique. It's nice, Perhaps a tiny touch lighter for those who find regular angel too strong, this would be one to try.

I got this perfume as I blind buy today because I like original Angel but I would smell less loud than it and all I say that i'm little sorry that I don't bought this fragrance in early summer, because it smell really heavenly really almost like an angel and its perfect for warm weather! But however am very happy that I got it! Big love! Fruity Angel!

I got this for an incredible price at Marshall's of all places. Snatched it before anyone could see what I had! Complete blind buy, and I almost regretted it upon first spray, HUGE blast of patchouli. After about 10 minutes or so it wears off, and the real beauty of this comes through. Def worth a try!

I wear this beauty for a while. I really enjoy it. It is fresh scent similar to Angel eau de toilette water and Angel la Rose. It opens with raspberry note which is very detectable. In the base I feel more patchouli than vanilla and little bit chocolate. The silage and longevity are moderate.

I own the original Angel and find it really quite hard to wear, this, however is so easy that I've worn it to bed. It's comforting, light, sweet and fresh and still totally 'Angel', with half the calories. I only have a sample of this bur it's full bottle worthy.

It's not that I really dislike it... it's just too weak and too subtle for my taste and also I expect the perfume to last longer for such price. So if the classic Angel is too strong for you and gives you headache maybe you can try this one :)

This Aqua Angel is refreshing, elegant and alluring. Silage depends on weather and if you're wearing moisturizer. Otherwise, this baby is going to turn some heads your way, just apply a small amount, because a little goes a loooong way.
