Angel Eau de Toilette

All you ladies who swear that Angel is the most disgusting and overpowering fragrance ever, I was like you once. I ranted that the perfume made me smell like body odor and gave me an instant headache. I scrubbed the sample spray off my arm, cursing at its crazy ability to last. I wondered to myself how this became a cult favorite perfume. What was I not getting? Then I tried the Angel edT---I get it now. This is what people were raving about. Chocolate, caramel, patchouli, pine, dewberry----yes! I love the amazing creation that they form. The edT to me smells like an entirely different fragrance from the edP. The dewberry is more prominent, so it's a bit fresher and sweeter. The chocolate and patchouli are still present but the pine seems a bit toned down. On first spritz, it is very medicinal. I will agree with people about that. I can even get the Vick's Vapo-Rub effect. GIVE IT A MOMENT BEFORE WRITING IT OFF. I rub my wrists together vigorously after spraying this and suddenly I'm smelling delicious berries, chocolate and patchouli. "Angel" is the wrong name for this masterpiece. I honestly think "Womanity" would be more fitting for this fragrance. It's sensual, dark, sweet, mysterious and complex. And when you're not paying attention, it shape shifts as different notes make themselves known, changing the scent of this perfume on the wearer. Dark, sweet, complex, constantly changing---sounds like a woman to me! She has a presence in a room but doesn't have to be the center of attention. She's no shrinking violet in the corner: she's the confident beauty at a dinner party that can sit quietly but when she has something to say, people pay attention. One to two spritzes is all I need and I'm good. I feel that this scent lasts and even as it dissipates, it changes shape and becomes a sweet skin scent. So for me it's like having 2 perfumes in one. The bottle is an interesting comet shape. Not as cool as the star, in my opinion, but I love the magnetic closure for the cap. Plus, this is refillable so you save money in the long run. I'm still not a fan of the Angel edP and that's okay. I love my edT and can even wear it in the hottest of weather. Give the toilette a try before writing off Angel altogether---you might just find a new love.

I can remember the first time that I tested angel edt,I didn't dislike it but thought that I don't need a bottle. After couple of months I saw a great deal of 2.7oz tester bottle and bought it just for collecting matters.I didn't want to waste the perfume so when I saw my husband likes it,gave it to him.after a while I saw that I love what I smell on him and decided to try it again on myself.I never saw this day,but I have to confess that I love it! It opens fresh,bright,juicy and sharp,with a strong sillage.mostly red berries on me,also some bergamot and pink pepper.the redberry opening brings angel innocent to my mind which I don't like anymore but fortunately in angel edt,praline shows up right in time. As mentioned before,this is not a real sweet scent for me.praline is easily detectable but tart redberry from one hand and patouli and cedar from the other hand cut it's sweetness.I can detect lots of patch here but it's not dirty.I agree with one of the reviews claiming that patchouli in angel edt reminds dior midnight poison(but their whole scent is totally different) My favorite part starts after half an hour.As time passes it becomes better and better on my skin.redberry,pink pepper sharpness calms down and I can smell wafts of this amazing woody-nutty-musky scent as I do my works.I agree that this perfume is totally unisex but there's something pleasantly powdery in it's drydown which I find very feminine.when I smell my skin closely,there's some woody bitterness that give it a vivid masculine undertone.but in sillage,I mean the scent that wafts from my skin in air,is simply amazing.clean in it's own special way,memorable and sexy.can make a versatile,year rounder signature perfume Longevity is great.sillage is huge in first 40mins or so but then calms down while it still projects well enough.I also like it's bottle and it's magnetic cap. Highly recommended wether you love angel edp or hate it

Yay, finally I have found a Thierry Mugler that I can wear! The Angel EdP is just overwhelming on me, and although I do have some love for the dry-dry-drydown (the way it smells after about 8+ hours), I just don't have the time, money, or patience for Angel EdP. Still, determined to find a TM that I could love and wear, I tried the Angel EdT. At first spritz it seemed almost as abrasive as the EdP: lots of that heady patchouli-mixed-with-super-strong-sweetness. The only good thing about it, I thought, is that it's a little less strong than the EdP. I shrugged and went on my way. After a little while, though, the fresh, rosy pink pepper and the berries started to peek out, and then even define the scent. I do agree that these notes smell pink! There is also a woody note there, it reminds me of this wooden flute I used to have. I guess it's the cedar. This isn't your typical pencil shavings cedar, though, it smells like high quality wood. The base - similar to Angel EdP - supports and carries the fresh, sweet middle notes, and makes it an unmistakable TM. This middle phase lasts about 3-4 hours on me, and is what made me decide to buy this frag. At absolute drydown (about 4-5 hours in), this smells like a weak version of Angel EdP's drydown, which is nice too, although the chocolate/praline note sometimes smells a bit dirty on my skin (especially when it's warm out). From reading the reviews it seems that most of the serious EdP fans don't really care for the EdT, and vice versa. I fall into that same group, and I'm happy the EdT exists because it gives people who can't wear the EdP something to try (and love..?). The bottle is also way prettier than I expected, and I enjoy the refill idea (although, for the 4-5 bucks of price difference, I'd probably just buy a new bottle and fill the old one with some different 'fume. How pretty would this look with a pink juice in it?). 4.2/5

To begin, I am a huge Angel fan. I came to love her very late in the game so have no experience or scent memories from her first release. I have been wearing Angel EDP non-stop this very cold winter, in the daytime at work, at night before bed.....it has been a very warming and comforting fragrance. As we move toward warmer weather I have been looking for an 'Angel-esque' fragrance that would be suitable for a warmer time. I found the Le Cometes for a very reasonable price and per the reviews thought this may work. I adore this fragrance! It is quite different from my Angel EDP but I can still smell the DNA of it. On my skin and with my chemistry this does lean very unisex. It is crisp, I think that must be from the bergamot/wood mixture. The initial opening feels cool, crisp and somewhat green to my nose. After about 10 minutes it settles into a slightly sweet, peppery scent. The patchouli in this one is very toned down or is a very 'green' version compared to the EDP. My chemistry gets on well with all patchouli and this one is no different. I get incredible longevity with this as well even though it is marketed as an EDT. I sprayed the crook of my elbow before bed and could still smell a lovely, fresh sweetness in the am. I do not get as much of a gourmand vibe from this as I do from the EDP. Perhaps the sweetness after hours of wear is the praline? I definitely do not get much berry scent. I will absolutely continue to wear this in the spring as our spring time tends to run quite cool although I do think this will work in the sweltering heat of summer. Any recommendations from the Angel flankers that may work in the heat would be welcome! I still want the DNA just do not want to smother those around me, lol!

Where do I begin... I've already written 2 reviews about Angel (EdP), so you can easily find out about my very negative experience with this perfume (I was about 22-28 years old then). But recently I realized something interesting was going on - I have a small Angel sample and now and then I spray some perfume on my wrist, very, very tiny amount, but still (me- the big hater of Angel! ME!). And then I understood- I have to get one of the milder versions of Angel (the EdP is still too strong for me), and my choice is Angel EdT. Now I hold it in my hand, have it on my wrist and I "fly away". On me it opens with the same strange cacophony as Angel EdP, but in an instant it's gone leaving something magic on my skin. First it's some kind of fresh made,strong, sweet, herbal tea with a hint of something a bit sour and juicy. Like ripe wild berries with their stems and leaves put into some boiling water in the middle of a dark forest. Like the song "Sweet Lullaby" by Deep Forest unusual, a bit scaring, but tempting. Then it gets "fluffy" and some gourmand sweetness comes in (the sourness disappears), it feels like a caramel for adults (with some alcohol notes). The base is nutty, woody, rather warm on me. Something I would adore on a rainy, cold day to protect me (a "fluffy", warming umbrella, if that exists). I guess Angel perfume line is one of those lines who reveal the personal development of every perfume lover. You have to be quite experienced, you have to be rather mature and wise to appreciate those complex perfumes. The people who like fresh, sweet, "safe" perfumes (like me back then) maybe won't perceive this non standard beauty (and it's not their fault!). I'm glad I'm starting to discover it.

since I always hated angel edp,I was never willing to test it's flankers and it's edt but now that I own and like angel's garden party flankers(specially angel rose)and sunessence flanker,I thought this is the right time to retry angel edt and edp angel edp is still than brownish bitter monster in the opening,but it soon settles down to a bitter-sweet cacao patchouli combo which I still find masculine but don't hate anymore angel edt is a completely different story,yes it has that obvious angel gene that everyone can say it's a member of angel family with closed eyes,but it's much more wearable and lighter and easy going,it's not as bitter of angel edp and less patchouli dominant,red berries are the most dominant note on me and linger till the end ,also there is a hint of pepper in a base of delicate patch and some nutty praline,this is not a gourmand scent for me because it's not really sweet for my taste just a juicy berryish fruitchouli with a hint of angel gene,it's really nice but I thing I'd rather go for innocent which has a similar vibe but is sweeter and more feminine among angel edp and edt I surprisingly prefer edp,non of them are my style but at least edp is more gourmandish and stronger in sillage and personality angel edt is not neseserly a winter scent,it's good for mild to chily temp,year round longevity is amazing but sillage is a bit more than moderate if you hate angel edp,still give this one a try specially if you're into fruitchoulies ❤️❤️❤️

Initial thoughts after getting it yesterday, not a final review yet. This isn't as sweet as I had anticipated, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I think it's a safe unisex, you just have to like pink pepper and patchouli (which are the strongest notes to me). It's really quite similar to Angel EDP, just less sweet, which must be perfect for those who complain about the EDP being "too much". Longevity is marvelous, I sprayed one spritz on my arm yesterday evening, and still felt it when I woke up 12 hours later. I can still faintly smell it, 15+ hours in. As for the season, I've always been an "Angel in the summer" kind of gal. I come from the Middle East, so there's really not much winter going on there normally, but even now that I'm in Central Europe I still prefer to wear Angel in the heat. The heat just brings out something beautiful in Angel that the cold doesn't. Almost smells like a dusty antique shop, in the most intriguing kind of way. Full of secrets and mischief. To be entirely honest, I even wear the EDP when it's 30+ celsius out, and I swear I get compliments. Men in particular seem to go crazy over it. But you have to wear it on washed skin, you have to have a clean canvas or it'll go to BO zone (judging by the similarity to the EDP I assume it's the same story with the EDT, but I will update if my opinion changes).

I bought it blindly after fallen into the A*Men series spell, and I must admitt it does smell like a flanker of the original male scent. It is sweet but I cannot say the source, it is not candy floss for one thing. I smell mostly citrus and patchoulli, a bit of pepper, a bit of vanilla. there is a fruit accord but for me it is very blured, it could be red berries. I don't get the woody note perhaps because I don't keep the EDT that long for real base notes, but I get the clean, musk feeling during the whole life of Angel EDT on my skin, about 4 to 5 hours, before I have a shower, I live in a hot country and in a small enought town for me to go home for lunch, I am a lucky/happy man. also, I don't get praline or chocolate, but a very bitter cocoa powder that gives A. a very masculine edge, like it does to L'Instant de Guerlain. In fact, having in my mind A*Men and Pure Malt all the time it is hard to realize it is in fact a woman's scent. One male scent much sweeter that this is Lalique Lion pour Homme, which is almost sufoccating vanilla for me. So, what makes it a feminine fragrance? There's no flower. No powderness. Angel EDT could be just as well A*Men Pure Citron Limited Edition. Not bad, not bad at all. Can't see why this shouldn't be a safe blind buy.

Well, I feel dumb. I've been struggling to find my signature daytime summer fragrance for weeks now, as my Angel EDP just doesn't feel right in this heat. I've come home with some new finds, and they are beautiful but really feel too formal for daytime. Then, it occurred to me to try the Angel EDT. It's perfect for what I need. On me, it's much fruitier and less heady than the EDP. The Turkish delight has been replaced with a fruit salad! It smells a bit like apricots and Patchouli to me, more like the body cream if you've ever tried that. The only downside is that it's not as long-wearing, but it definitely lasts longer than a lot of the EDPs on the market today, especially for something as bright and fruity as this. Don't get me wrong, though... it's still very distinctive and identifiably Angel. It's not another boring, generic, tutti fruity fragrance. It's like she's on a cleansing diet full of fresh produce and strolls through a (patchouli) forest. ;-) Also, I would add that I actually get a LOT of pine when I wear the EDP, but NOT when I wear this. It's the opposite for me than what some of you are saying, but that's how it always goes with fragrance!

I used to side with Alien when it came to Thierry Mugler, but lately, the Jasmine has been getting so cold on my skin. Very uninviting, especially in winter. I also used to HATE Angel ( I mean gagging and trying not to breathe when it was sprayed). I gave it so many chances and it never worked out. I also used to hate Narciso Rodriguez, but I found myself strangely addicted to the EDP and EDT the other day. It's like my tastes have changed and done a 180. So I gave Angel another chance and, turns out, I love it. I do prefer the EDT over the EDP as I find it's very sparkly and it's easier to wear. I own enough perfumes out of mere respect for them and I wanted something that just...smells nice. SImple. Angel EDT starts out with an initial scary blast that lets you know you're in for a ride. Berries sparkle through after about 5 minutes and it continues to morph into this beautiful chocolaty cinnamon just-biteable cloud of perfection. I keep spraying it on (I probably reek!) because I just love how it changes. I'm like the kid who keeps running back to the same roller-coaster ride because, let's face it, it's the best ride in the whole freaking park.

Opens full on OG Angel, but dries down into a beautiful stand alone masterpiece. Why was it discontinued? Why? Just why! Longevity and silage are both very strong. I love the 2019 version too. In fact, I much prefer the edt Angels in general to the edp. The Eau de Parfum is gorgeous, but it is so strong it gives me a headache and sadly I cannot wear it. I think this 2011 Eau de Toilette version is the queen of all Angel's. The comet bottle suits it so much because it's a once in a lifetime experience that not everyone will. Angel 2019 edt is a gentler, easier to wear version, suitable for daytime wear in an office setting. It allows you to blend in, and sometimes there are occasions when reluctantly we must. With 2011 Angel edt however, you will not blend in. You will glimmer unapologetically. I think as others have stated it is easily unisex. I would love to smell a man wearing this. Fantastic stuff and it's a crying shame it was discontinued. On the other hand, maybe it is a blessing because Clarins and L'oreal would have decimated it by now. If you manage to get your hands on a vintage bottle please treasure it.

While wearing Angel EDT, I totally agree that it shares some similarities with Innocent and Angel La Rose, as bergamot and red berries have a similar masculine edge like in Innocent, and there is also some salty peppery characristics like in Angel La Rose. The transition to the delicious praline is so smooth that I can't really figure out when it peeped out. The red berries are always there with some tartness to refresh the creamy praline. The patchouli can be felt but on my skin I don't find it that fierce like in EDP. The sillage is relatively close and it lasts and lasts, almost 12 hours. It's definitely in the same line of Angel EDP and it's much cleaner and more understated. Although Angel EDT didn't really bring something entirely new, it's no doubt an adorable fragrance. It may not seem to be a necessary for someone who already owns several products of the Angel line, but for someone who's starting his adventure to explore Angel or Thierry Mugler universe, Angel EDT can serve well to open the magical gate.

Angel EDT totally hooked me! I sample only once before buying it, the first impression was: this is masculine , fresh and strong! Some minutes later it starts to became more and more appealing: sweet, softer and more feminine. I asked the opinion of one of my co-workers (I realy trust in her taste on fragrances) and she found it very pleasant and appealing . Finally I bought it that day, and a 80 ml refill bottle a week later. In the opening it tends to be strong, but the drydown it's beautiful , sweet and fresh at the same time. Have to say that my mom thinks it's a old lady perfume and my husband find it too strong, but I can't resist it!!! I love to spray my hair with Angel EDT and feel it along the day. The best strategy to wear this is apply it in an empty room, so you won't bother anyone, after 15 minutes you are ready to meet the world! and enjoy it's cool sweetness! I can't imagine how strong must be the original Angel if this is the EDT.

LOVED the old Angel EDP, but since the reformulation (or maybe it's just me getting older) could not stand it anymore. I still sometimes go back in head (to 1997) to smell the old Angel, how it captured me and how I deeply loved it. Wore it every day until...2010? So, that being said, the EDT is the next best thing. Still love, but not as profound as the old Angel. (Thierry, if you're listening: BRING THE OLD ANGEL BACK. NOW!) This EDT is soft, deep, round, sweet but not to sweet, slightly masculine and as someone pointed out to me, it smells earthy on me. In a good way. Men love it when I'm wearing it. It gives me a comfortable feeling. It mixes well with my skin (so no layer on top of me, if you catch my drift). The dry down is a bit 'church like', maybe because of the patchouli? All in all: will repurchase and repurchase, probably 'till this one is reformulated too and then...? Will have to find another signature perfume.

First of all, I have to say that I love Angel EDP. The "love or hate" hype has a reason to be: that's a reality the fact that some people really hate sweet scents. I remember once in high school a girl threw up because of my perfume. Angel EDP. lol But there were those who wanted more and more from that. I received a lot of compliments on that time. AND a lot of complainning. Me, myself? If I coukd, I only would wear Angel EDP. It's aggressive and cute at the same time, in my opinion. But not only of her own taste lives a woman... So someday I discovered the Angel EDT. Love for first sniff. Just like it's mother, EDP. But classier, more pleasant, more democratic. Finally, ONLY compliments. And it lasts, literally, for almost 2 days. The most important: tons of chocolate and less patchouli. With more berries. Plus: wearable in spring and some fresher nights of summer. Nobody threw up till now. That's a great thing lol.

A pepper and patchouli powerhouse, this is far from a "lighter" version of Angel. Fresher, maybe, but it packs a punch. Sweetness is replaced with spiciness, sharpening the vanilla, praline, and musk underneath. They've managed to capture not only the Angel EDP DNA, but the brash in-your-face-ness of the EDP, in a fresher, warm-weather scent. And it really is a powerhouse, especially considering that it's an EDT. Even though the pepper is listed as a top note, it still lingers with the patchouli 8 hours after I sprayed it. Which amazes me, because my skin eats fragrance, and even Angel EDP and Alien tend to fade after 5-ish hours. Angel EDP is earthy and creamy, while this is spicy and dirty. And for someone like me, who is picky about what sweet scents I wear, and when I want to wear them, this is perfect for when I'm craving Angel, but just am not in the mood for all that sweetness.

I have a small collection of men's perfumes and although I like some female fragrances confess that I have to use prejudice Perfumes. Despite having so far only one female fragrance in my collection, I never used it in public, only at home. Last year I decided to buy the Angel EDT and although he loved him prejudice for being a fragrance women spoke up and decided to donate it to a friend, but the desire to use it on my skin was higher than prejudice and decided to purchase it again this week because I quite shareable. In the men's skin it is less sweet. The notes of lemon, patchouli & cedar wood stand out more and make it more woody, sexi and masculine. The EDT is more shareable than the Angel EDP this I have no desire to use it. I LOVE Angel EDT. !!! (Men, you guys can use this Angel EDT. I'm sure you guys will have the so sexi smell as mine!) Lol ...

After wearing the original EDP for two decades (as one of my favourires), I tried this one for the first time yesterday. I am surprised how different they are. EDT doesn't smell like Angel to me actually. This is NOT a "lighter version" of original. (It's like Chanel Coco Noir doesn't smell like original Coco) If you are looking for a less intense, easy-to-wear Angel that smells like Angel, I recomend the Body Cream. It's less dense than EDP but still quite true to the scent. Very easy to control how much to put on & easy to reapply....like solid perfum. You will enjoy everything Angel can offer, without that extra terrestrial sillage. Having said that, EDT is a lovely frag. It's very Thierry Mugler --- fruity - woody perfume with character. The Ceder is cool and fabulous! I can understand why many people prefer EDT over the original.

I may never forgive Mugler for discontinuing this masterpiece. This original Angel Eau de Toilette is (or was *sniff*) the epitome of heaven, a one-of-a-kind scent that will not smell like anything else in the history of perfumes. The pink pepper infused with the classic Angel scent (which is my holy grail perfume) just gives the original Angel a softer and more polished approach. It’s definitely a safer and more everyday scent and I get compliments on it often. Why, Mugler? Why did you destroy this precious comet and succumb to a mega corporation’s decision on what they think is “better”? I’ve smelled the new EDT and it doesn’t come anywhere close to this baby. I’m so grateful I scoured online for refills of this gem or else waking up everyday may be a little more difficult. Excuse me while I hug my comet bottle a little tighter.

Let me start by saying....I have never cared for the original Angel edp......even tho I like smelling it on other people,but I could not take it on myself. Why did I buy this one .....???.....Angel Eau de Toilette... Well, because, people refer to this as the "more wearable Angel".....and I agree !! This EDT is ,IMO,to my nose, more fruity...and ....berry-ish...?? I get a sort of "tropical" vibe on my skin. It was love at first sniff for me....surprise !! It is for sure much much lighter....toned down....but I think it maybe was toned down too far...???. The sillage and longevity is low...IMO. But, I still love it. And guess what...???....I just placed an order for the original EDP......(balls to the wall! LOL). Edit: My review was based on the 2011 Comet version....I think...lol....the box says Cometes

I agree with the poster who said there is a piercing note in this just like the edp. For some reason I like it though. This is the most unique perfume I have. Nothing smells even close to it. I love how young and fun it smells. High school me would have loved this edt had I tried it back then. On days when I still want to be that free and wild heart I go for this. It makes me want to be 17 and feeling invincible again. Its like nostalgia for an ideal teenage life in a cute bottle. It’s definely a daytime scent. Fall and spring and maybe summer. Not really toasty enough for winter although it is warm. Bonus points that the cap is magnetic!! You don’t have to try and find how it fits back on because it just does it for you. The new edt is good as well but not nearly as unique as this one

So I've addd another Angel to the family and I'm liking the EDT very much. As an Angel fanatic, I've worn the EDP since it came out in the early 90's but today I tried the EDT for the first time and I'm loving it! The EDT is Angel with wood and a touch of musky freshness. It's still heavy, heady and sweet and if you were to think that this is the younger sister of the EDP, you are very much mistaken. This one is her own woman, she's all there, up front and in your face with that divinely beautiful, typical Mugler trademark, of sweet, chocolate patchouli, gourmand juice. This is a winter perfume, it warms you up, surrounds you in velvet and wraps itself around you until eventually you are enslaved. Angel is my first and only true olfactory love.

There actually is still some "gourmand" left in this version of Angel. It's powdery and fresh but still beautifully sharp and potent with the red berries, pink pepper, and patchouli being in the spotlight. I've owned this scent for a while, but I'm just now able to detect the gourmand-praline side, which I usually only detected as the powderiness. But under the almost Vix Vapor Rub-like cloud from the patchouli and pink pepper, you can smell the soft, almost edible praline. It's not the type of gourmand that's popular today, as it's definitely not for everyone, but it's a beautiful fragrance. I love it. So, buy a mini bottle or sample before buying a full one. Pretty bottle with a magnetic cap, and it's refillable!

This is truly outstanding. After shunning Angel all these years I have discovered the flankers and have basically gone nuts over them. They are each truly unique and different from the EDP and I think the EDT may be the most different believe it or not. It is almost like a different fragrance all together to my nose. The Angel DNA is still there but the notes are so different you feel like you are wearing something barely recognizable as Angel....but still related if that makes sense. The EDT is practically unisex as well. It is the least sweet version of Angel that I have tried. If you don't like the original Angel do NOT let that stop you from trying this one. It is a fabulous fragrance. I'm kind of in love!

From a distance, the sillage gives the illusion of the scent of Innocent. Closer to skin, it's a lighter Angel, less sweet but a bit more spicy. It's a more consensual Angel, it can get along with most people, but beyond a much more quiet appearance it still sends the message "I'm nice but don't mess with me." It's sweet without being "too much", naughty and sexy. On my skin, patchouli often turns to cold steel, but I like this version of Angel because the patchouli stays warm. It's still pretty intense patchouli though, so if you don't like this note, don't blind buy, always skin test it first. On paper, it can smell like cigarette smoke, but it behaves very differently and much better on skin.

This was my signature scent in my late teens. Seems an odd choice now, maybe I was trying to seem more mature than I actually was. The bottle design is really so charming, the magnetic click of a cap makes any cosmetic product seem even more luxurious. I never really bothered breaking down what Angel smells like to me, it's just Angel and it's instantly recognizable. I cannot compare it to anything else. It's got a huge presence, like any Mugler perfume in my opinion. It's like a shoulder-padded power suit in a bottle. It's sexy, it's glamorous, it's fascinating, but it's not easy-to-approach inviting and it's definitely not for everyone.

I am an original Angel fan! I ordered the edt as it was at a good price online, expecting the fragrance to just be a lighter version of the original! I was wrong,to me this is very different to the original. The Angel DNA is there but with less chocolate,caramel and vanilla and more fruits,pepper and lashings of patchouli. Absolutely beautiful,this could have easily been a stand alone flanker. I may even love it more than the original,but we will see over time. Longevity and sillage are typical of an edt. I'd love to have this new recipe in edp concentration :-)

I’m a huge fan of Angel, and I love this EDT version in the comet bottle, too! I find this one to be sweeter and fruiter than the original, but also less intense on the patchouli. I know Mugler released a new EDT in 2019 (in a star bottle), which I liked, but I prefer this version. If the original Angel was too much for you, you may want to try this one. Because this is so sweet, especially in the opening, I generally only wear this one in the cooler weather. It looks like this version is getting hard to find, unfortunately, because it is sooooo good!!!

After hate it for years because of the popularity,I tried it on my wirst. My first Mugler perfum. Strong beginning for a edt, soapy,spicy, powdery and a bite masculine. It a perfum with strong personality, definitely for +28/30 years old. I m getting my 35 next month and I could figure me getting used in the night for a ladies night or a romantic dinner. When I used it I feel so strong , misterious and so womanly. Very long lasting power, stays for hours and days in clothes and hair. My 40 ml botlle is gonna be with my for years!

This is it! At the beggining it smells identical to Midnight Poison. I love it and I guess this was the perfume I smelt sometimes and was wondering where was a secret source of Dior's Midnight Poison? Just when it was launched I bought of Ebay a pen shaped bottle. I was suspicious it could be a fake but it was just a free sample that someone decided to get rid of. And since then I have never ever used it til now, when I started testing all Angel's variations I have. This is a winner and far better than Angel EDP

I believe this is the version of Angel I just got. It was an instant love. The EDP is just too much for me still though I may keep trying with it because I love that edge it has with the skanky patchouli. Straight up patchouli doesn't even smell as bad as it does within Angel EDP- a true mystery! Anyway this EDT is sparkling, Angelesque and the patchouli not is just right. I think I could become obsessed with this and it might even lead me in to Angel EDP. Is this discontinued? I guess I need a back up too.

At first I did not like this one, smelled like cat urine on me. But I've decided to give another chance to this one, and I'm totally blown away by this. It is similar to Angel EDP, but while Angel EDPis strong (with no sillage and longevity on me) this one is lighter, more sparkly and has quite a potent sillage and longevity. I think this perfume really suits me somehow, and I can imagine this one as a four-season-fragrance. I'm going to have this soon, because it is a must have!

Since I have worn Angel edp since 1994, most Angel "flankers" disappoint me and the edT is awful on me. I do not know what my skin does to the edT, but it turns it into old lady Jean Nate after bath splash :-O Seriously! The first couple of times I wore the edT, I could not put my finger on "that scent". It took maybe a week or so and then I remembered my great grandma!! Angel edT does not work for me. The rich, complex and amazing Angel edp is great, edT is a major fail on me!

A delightful explosion of berries full of juice. Then the heart is pure praline and dark chocolate to end in a bed of patchouli leaves and white musk. Tropical, sweet, playful, tempting, daring and celestially devilish. A perfect combination between Angel and A-Men without their heavy and sometimes cloying notes. For sure and just like all Muglers, is not for everyone and is in deed a very polarizing perfume, but that’s one of the reasons why I loved it!

I like this. Much better than the new 2019 EDT. This 2011 EDT has the Angel DNA and it’s really effervescent. It’s uplifting. I can see why people are saying it’s unisex as it’s not as sweet as the original Angel EDP. But I don’t find it masculine. It’s really sparkling and does make me think of stars ✨. I think it works really well and can be good for any age. I find the new 2019 EDT too sweet and cloying aimed at a young age bracket.

Prefer this one over Angel eau the parfum. I've been wearing this much recently and I think this is my signature scent. I feel feminine yet self-confident while wearing it. I think it is suitable for fall and winter as much as for colder days in summer and spring. Very long-lasting, however, sillage of this one could be better. Nonetheless, for the eau de toilette it still is the best of its category. Recommend this one!

i had a hard time with this at first. i'm a die hard fan of the EDP, and while this is definitely angel, it's much more sour-juicy-fresh almost becoming fruit punch, while the EDP is a sugary powder puff. it took about 5 uses but now i love it. a fresher, younger, less serious angel for warmer days. i get the bergamot, pink pepper and berries mostly, the patchouli is very toned down in comparison to EDP.

This is absolutely recognizable as Angel. It shares its patchouli core. But it's fruitier, spicier and lighter. It sparkles as only a fruitchouli can. Both this and the original on the same shelf? Justifiable. However, don't let that EDT designation fool you. This is still a Thierry Mugler fragrance with all the silage and longevity stereotypes that brings. Over-spray at your own risk.

Should never have been discontinued. The pink pepper makes this edt less cloying and slightly more androgynous/ complex than the original. For an edt the silliage and longevity are amazing. I’m lucky to still have some left as bought when I found they discontinuing. I am ALWAYS asked what I’m wearing when I wear this perfume. To me the newer edt smells too sweet/ generic.

At first I thought I didn't like this one because it opens with the tart red berries. But the after an hour or so, it is heavenly soft Angel sweetness minus the aggression of the EDP. Awesome for the warmer months since I am an Angel addict and sad to put away the original. Eau Sucree and Aqua Chic just did not do it for me so I'm glad I found the EDT.

This scent is screaming unisex to me, which I find most Mugler scents are. I love it. It is peppery and lovely with incense. It smells expensive. Don't be fooled by the EDT part of it, this is a long lasting scent that wears for hours and hours. I love the patchouli in this scent. It's a very sexy scent for whoever chooses to wear it.

Smells exactly like Angel edp but without the BO smell everone hates. I can't stop sniffing this! It's like cat nip to me, it drives me crazy with obsession. It's warm and spicy but welcoming. It's a tad masculine. Doesn't last as long as the edp, but it's loud alright.

No, this is not a milder Angel. This is much less sweet, dark and deadly sexy. I just had to have it - it is perfect. And on my skin, it has great silage and longevity, even better than the edp. I thought I was a patchouli hater - how come...

This is the Angel I can wear. It still packs a punch for an eau de toilette but it gets to the heart of what you want the original to do off the bat. I use a little bit of the body creme plus this little number and it lasts all day.

This is honestly my favourite scent! I always got compliments when worn. Can someone tell me a fragrance that is similar as this has been discontinued. Devastated! Or if someone want to sell theirs PLEASE let me know..

Original Angel without that punch in the face! I love Angel but I love this even more. So versatile, fresh without losing sweetness and softness. Strong character. Nothing like the tame, generic new edt.

Now THIS... This I love!! It's a beautiful fragrance & I crave it. It's the spiciness that I adore.. I am afraid of Angel EDP, however, I can already tell that the EDT will be my signature scent.

The EDP is like a punch, though an oddly enjoyable one, and this one is more of a feather. They're both great in their own right, but this one is more multi-faceted than the EDP.

While Angel EdP is a rich, caramel-filled, chocolate-covered dessert, Angel EdT is a peppery vanilla mousse with berries on top. I love them both!
