Angel Fantasm

I've been a male of the species all my life and a Mugler fragrance customer since 1992's Angel for women release, the men's following four years later. My lifelong love for Mugler perfumes 🥰 has never been confined solely to male designated offerings and includes an array of scents that were originally created for and designated 'Woman'. In my opinion no scent is uniquely gender specific because after all the formulation creates an aroma, a scent, a profile of different ingredients many of which might well be new to our nose, or simply a personal all time favourite. In my collection, and frequently worn are Mugler Angel, Aura, Angel fruity Fair and personal faves Angel Muse EDP and EDT. I now also have two 100ml refillable Angel Fantasm star bottles in my collection alongside their male counterpart A*Men Fantasm, and love both for different reasons and occasions. Mugler marketed Angel Fantasm fragrance as a morphing of the original Angel's patchouli accord into a new skin addiction of celestial bergamot and a juicy pineapple accord. Fresh coconut accord and patchouli essence with an indulgent blend of Madagascar bourbon vanilla, Fleur de Tiaré (Gardenia taitensis), or Tahitian gardenia, the fragrant white bloom from Polynesia💐 used in traditional medicine, cosmetics, and as a symbol of purity. Previously in 2021 Mugler Iced star had touched on the tropical pineapple and coconut theme, and similarly in 2021 Alien Goddess created around Top notes of Coconut Water and Bergamot; middle notes of Jasmine and Heliotrope; base notes of Bourbon Vanilla and Cashmeran. Here though, with Angel Fantasm the profile feels more serious, more grown up, cocktail like and gourmand. The notes and layers were listed as: Top: Bergamot, Pineapple Heart: Coconut, Fleur de Tiaré Base: Patchouli Essence, Bourbon Vanilla Infusion, Amber Unmistakably similar, though wonderfully different, both open with Bergamot, and to a degree citrus also, Angel using Pineapple and A*Men using Citrus. A*Men which is spicier with the inclusion of Pink pepper, and unlike a sharp black pepper, the pink variant offers a fresh, spicy, sweet element with a touch of woody undertone 🪾 As a man, if you love and wear the A*Men Fantasm variant, then what is not to equally love with the female Angel Fantasm version? This is so unmistakably similar, which makes both as easy to wear and love, but for different occasions. Angel Fantasm is in my opinion a marvellous take, an alternative to it's male counterpart, this time bringing that fruity, tropical vibe to the scent profile that makes it a spring and summer, fruity daytime wearing winner 🥳 For me personally, one to wear for my own pleasure, with a modest projection and sillage and very acceptable longevity, whilst the men's is a little spicier and more of an evening wear and cooler months. The tropical vibes from Angel Fantasm have truly worked their magic on my nose, and have me reaching for my beach wear! The Angel Fantasm works on my skin similarly to Angel Muse EDT (the fruity take on Muse), not in scent profile but in giving me that sunny day, summer citrus vibe that I love. The two are very similar and yet so very different, equally beautiful and both work very well indeed on my skin. I wear the women's version easily and happily, one that sends glorious wafts to my nose throughout the day and finds a place in my Mugler collection with ease. Longevity is on a par with the men's version on me, it is has a reasonable projection but soon remains closer to my skin. I could easily respray during the day or night should I wish, but I do so much like the subtle dry down. It is also one that I can decant into my vacant used rubber flask men's editions of Fantasm simply by unscrewing the refillable style caps from the 100ml star and the men's glass bottle and pouring via my fragrance metal funnel from one to another, or by purchasing the Angel Fantasm 100ml refill bottle and refilling my men's flask. That way I have the men's flask presentation with the two different options, male and female interpretations for me to wear as and when I choose, should I not want to keep explaining to friends why I have a women's Mugler refillable star! 😁 A great release, easily unisex, a compliment getter for sure and the female and male versions compliment one another perfectly.

I had been eyeing the Angel line for a few years now, mainly just obsessed with bottles and the marketing (ily Hunter Schafer). I tried the og in the past, and as you can guess, it wasn't my cup of tea, but I decided to try all of them at once again and was instantly drawn to Fantasm. The lady at the counter gave me some samples, and after one day of wearing it, I was obsessed and knew I had to come back and get it. This has quickly become my current favourite/signature fragrance. Mugler perfectly nailed the formula with this one. It’s just the perfect mix of mass appeal whilst keeping the Avant-garde essence of Mugler. Anyways, as to what the fragrance smells like, it’s a deep, smooth, woody profile mixed with a soft coconut pineapple gourmand. It definitely is somewhat pina colada-esque, but I would not at all call it tropical, as the woodiness from the patchouli is the prominent scent. Now, in my opinion, the patchouli is perfectly balanced in this, just enough to give it that niche and sophisticated scent without being overbearing, and the coconut and pineapple just smooth it out. In terms of sweetness, again, this is perfectly balanced to the point where it is, in my opinion, perfectly unisex and still suitable for someone who doesn’t want something overly gourmand. I find this lasts multiple days on my clothes and the projection is just above moderate. I definitely am an over-sprayer, but nonetheless, expect to be complimented time and time again when you wear this. This is so criminally underrated as I don’t see many people hyping it up but that’s exactly what makes it so signature scent worthy. This fragrance alone has made me a huge Mugler fein, and now I’ve just purchased A*MEN Fantasm. Definitely will be getting the new Angel Stellar flanker when it arrives in Australia as well as I’ve heard it’s reminiscent of Fantasm but slightly more nutty and sweet, so that’s an automatic YES.

If you were to tell me that investing in this fragrance over a year ago would cause me to become UTTERLY CAPTIVATED by Mugler as a fragrance house, make me suddenly find 90% of my 100+ fragrance collection boring and lacklustre, and then cause me to purchase every new angel flanker that has come out ever since this one and also a few of the previous angel and alien flankers too only to SOMEHOW love the new Angel flankers even more than fantasm which had already initially become my new all-time favourite...then I'm not too sure I would have allowed myself to make the original investment knowing how much it would cost me in the long run. But gee, I've already written a review for this scent on here a while back, but I needed to come back and remind yall how incredible it is and how much I ducking love L'Oréal's takeover of Mugler, no matter what y'all be saying. They genuinely haven't missed with the angel line since they took over and at this point, I'm considering letting dust collect on the rest of my collection and just wearing Mugler alone because everything I wear from them feels like a signature scent, everything is a standout and gets me more compliments than the rest of my collection. There is genuinely an angel for every occasion at this point, and I wouldn't be mad if I couldn't wear another brand again. BUT PLEASE MUGLER bring back Angel Muse or Angel Eau Sucree. I have been DYING to try those after hearing time and time again that they're the best all-time flankers. I genuinely didn't think it could possibly get better than stellar, fantasm or blush, but somehow Daniel Rene says Sucree is still his number one so I NEED TO SMELL IT NEOWWWWWWW.

If you've ever dreamed of being enveloped in a luscious, coconutty cloud while simultaneously being reminded that Mugler will put patchouli in anything (in a good way), then Angel Fantasm is your new best friend. This fragrance is like a tropical vacation where someone snuck a little sophistication into your piña colada - think creamy coconut, tiare flower, and that signature Angel patchouli hit, but much softer and less in-your-face. It's like the OG Angel went on a beach retreat, did some soul-searching, and came back with a mellow, breezy vibe. Why is it called Fantasm? Is it a ghost? A fever dream? A marketing team's wild night out? Whatever it is, it definitely makes you feel like you’re wearing something a little... ethereal. Or at least like you’re about to haunt the dessert table at a tropical-themed wedding. This gorgeous, otherworldly black star of a bottle refuses to stand up. Seriously, what are we supposed to do with this? Prop it awkwardly against another perfume and hope for the best? Nothing shatters the illusion of luxury faster than knocking over half your collection just to grab it. It's an aesthetic nightmare for anyone who likes their perfumes neatly lined up. In conclusion, Angel Fantasm smells divine, like a creamy, coconut-laced fantasy with just enough patchouli to remind you it’s still Angel at heart. And don't worry about longevity and sillage - this beauty will create a scent bubble that lasts all day and night.

Angel Fantasm is the scent equivalent of a perfect beach holiday — sun-soaked days, balmy evenings, and skin kissed by salt, sand, and coconut oil. From the first spray, it wraps you in a warm, creamy blend of coconut and vanilla, brightened by the lush, floral touch of Tiare flower. It’s instantly transportive: think tropical island breeze, soft white sand, and the golden glow of late afternoon sun. What sets Angel Fantasm apart is its versatility. It’s the ideal transition scent — light and radiant during warm daytime hours, yet it deepens beautifully as the air cools, becoming smoother and more sensual into the evening. I don't understand how some reviewers are disappointed in Angel Fantasm because they claim that "it lacks originality" or that it's Mugler "becoming mainstream and watering down their fragrances"... ladies, this is a flanker, it is supposed to smell familiar to you and REMIND you of the original, and in my opinion, Angel Fantasm does just that! Ladies, times have changed since 1992 (og Angel launch) and due to the expansion of scent/note combinations and the (overwhelming) variety of perfumes available, now we consumers crave variety and many have perfume wardrobes to suit all occasions, moods, and seasons. Heck, Some of us even use fragrances to create and retrieve scent memories! Back to Angel Fantasm, I have been looking for a coconut-centered, strong to moderate strength/longevity/sillage, and grown-up PERFUME, and I do highlight 'perfume' because many summery tropical fragrances smell juvenile (Ari's frags) or nauseatingly synthetic (ahem ahem Dolce Garden, Coco Vanille and Intense Tiare), or they perform like body mists (here's looking at you Miami Nectar, Beach Walk, even Angel Goddess). Angel Fantasm is EXACTLY what I was looking for; a coconut-centered, mildly floral, long-lasting and projecting, balmy and sweet perfume, that gives a nod to the original, but in a contemporary and softer way that I can wear any time of the year. Congratulations Mugler, you did it!

Angel Fantasm is what happens when Mugler does brightness without losing its soul. It opens with a burst of sparkling, cosmic fruit - not girlish berry, not pink optimism, but a fizzy, crystalline sweetness that feels more like starlight hitting glass. There’s a champagne‐gourmand shimmer here, a kind of effervescent sugar that lifts it. Underneath the sparkle, the Angel DNA hums quietly: a soft patchouli glow, a warm sweetness, a subtle praline warmth that anchors the brightness so it never becomes thin or pastel. This is the part that makes Fantasm feel like a character. As it dries down, the fruit softens into a warm, glowing sweetness - still bright, still cosmic, but smoother, rounder, more wearable. It’s playful without being childish, sweet without being sticky, bright without being clean. A rare balance. Fantasm is like a prism catching white light. It sparkles, but it has depth. It’s bright, but it has gravity. It’s modern, but recognisably Mugler. Longevity: strong Projection: moderate‐strong Mood: sparkling, cosmic, effervescent, warm Best for: cool weather brightness, evenings out, days when you want light without losing character A bright Angel that still feels like a protagonist - and one of the few modern Muglers that carries real emotional voltage.

Back in the early 90’s I was a broke single mum. Up to that point I had generally worn oriental perfumes such as Opium, or Coco Chanel (when I could afford them) as the only other alternative was floral scents, which I associated with older relatives. The first time I smelled Angel I was completely blown away - I used to spray the sample in my local Superdrug down my rollneck jumper and spend the rest of the day with my nose buried in my jumper. Once I was not so broke, it became my signature scent, and I wore it for years, it’s the smell my kids associate with me. At some point though, it just felt too young, and possibly as a result of reformulations, smelled louder and more harsh than I was comfortable with. So Angel became a thing of my past, until Fantasm came along. I tried Stellar and Fantasm at the same time - hated Stellar (way too sweet) but fell back in love as a result of Fantasm. To me, Fantasm smells like the Angel of the 90’s that I loved so much. Fantasam smells like the current og Angel about 8 hours into the dry down. It’s beautiful, and I really hope it’s never discontinued.

This one I find really intriguing. It’s very patchouli-forward from the off, more so than I was expecting (this is no bad thing, though, as I enjoy patchouli. If you don’t it could well be a deal-breaker.) It’s also a touch smoky. There are hints of coconut and pineapple, but they’re very subtle and stay entirely in the background. Along with the coconut, the vanilla adds a beautiful creaminess. There’s something slightly gourmand about it, but not full-out by any means. If you want to amplify that aspect then pairing with Sol de Janeiro 62 works a treat. The coconut and pineapple originally made me think this would work best and primarily as a summer scent, and it does because (despite the patchouli) it’s not too heavy. I wouldn’t say it’s a “typical” summer scent, though. Its vibe to me is quite dark and moody, a little dank and almost wet smelling, making it pretty perfect in my book for autumn and perhaps even winter as well. I didn’t expect to like this one as much as I do. It’s far more interesting than it sounds on paper, and one of the best things I’ve smelled in a while.

For me the original Thierry Mugler ethos was typified by an unapologetically bold woman who didn't give a damn if you thought her perfume (or her fashion) were rather overwhelming. However, in Fantasm, this lady has had a pina colada (having swapped the rum for a pineapple flavored vodka perhaps) and while she's still not willing to apologize - she's at least willing to laugh at her own diva antics. Fantasm opens with a realistic pineapple note punched up by the bergamont. As the mid notes unfold the coconut may be the best I've encountered thus far (and believe me, I've tried many). The simple base accord is expertly deployed with Mugler's signature patchouli complimented by the amber spiced vanilla. I've worn Angel since its arrival and have long admired the Mugler aesthetic. Perhaps for this reason - newer flankers have only left me disappointed. But Fantasm reclaims some of the classic magic of the original. Just different enough to be surprising but not so different that it seems removed from its history. Kudos!

I really wish people would stop reviewing and voting before they smell the perfume. Also the remind me of section is f****d up. Coco vanille, seriously? I HATE L’Oreal taking over Mugler too, but after I received Angel Fantasm today, I have to say it is the only one similar to pre-L’Oreal creations. I stopped buying Mugler since they launched Alien Goddess and Angel Elixir, but after @DanielJD s review, I decided to get this one as a blind buy and it s one of the best blind buys I ever got. Chapeau to the noses behind this for making a perfume resembling the ones we grew up with( ‘90s kids here). It does have Angel DNA, it is persistent (7 hrs so far, I can only smell it if I get my nose to my wrist now) and amazing sillage in the first couple hours. So if you like Angel, Angel Muse and hate Elixir, this will surprise you in a good way. And people, PLEASE STOP REVIEWING OUT OF YOUR FRUSTRATION FFS! Smell first, vote and review after!

Very impressed with this one. I loved the original Angel, but after months of wearing it I started to get tired of it, and it didn't seem nearly as sweet to my nose. (Also, whenever I wore it I was subconsciously aware of how many people despise the scent, but that's beside the point.) I sprayed this on a tester at the airport and didn't think it was much different from the original and promptly forgot about it. Until I saw a travel spray for a good price at my usual grey market seller. On skin it's a whole different story. It's sweet and comforting, like a coconut hug. To my nose it smells like eating a bag of those coconut mushroom sweets (if you're from the UK, you'll know what I mean) while someone walks past wearing the original Angel. It's a very well-rounded fragrance, and I think I'm falling in love with Angel all over again. Update: Absolute compliment magnet too. *quietly changes signature scent* 👀

I'm pretty new to the perfume world, only ever having used one or two brand name perfumes in the past. I recently ordered a bunch of perfume samples, and this was one of them. I wasn't expected to be transported back 19 years to when I was 15 years old. All this time I had remembered the scent of my boyfriend at the times cologne I had no idea what it was I don't think I ever asked, and always wanted to know so I could buy it for myself... This was it. I don't know what fragrance he was wearing, but it smells just like this, this is the scent I've been longing for for nearly 2 decades... Goosebumps and tingles through my body as I re-experienced my teenage years in the early 2000s. For me this is a narcotic, a mix of warmth and sharpness, drying down to a dangerous creamy vanilla coconut. It has so much depth, and is so powerful yet so comforting, both for the scent and the nostalgia.

I can’t believe I’m about to type this so get ready... FINALLY, an Angel that actually has a lot in common with the OG! That ‘Mugler’ Patchouli is back, that ‘Mugler’ punch in the nose is back! Surprised to say that I only get a touch of coconut when I spray this, definitely a good thing! This is what Angel Elixir should have been. I can definitely tell that this shares similarities with the OG Angel. I do believe that L’Oréal has listened to us die hard Mugler fans! The longevity is so much better than Angel Elixir too. Angel Fantasm will surprise a lot of people so I would definitely recommend you give it a chance. 💫 To summarise, this to me is a ‘sweeter’ take on the OG Angel, it has that unmistakable Mugler Patchouli running through it from top to base with a touch of coconut, a lot of sweetness from the Vanilla. It even leaves a ‘sheen’ after spraying, unlike Elixir 😂

I had never smelled the original Mugler Angel before. I decided to choose Angel Fantasm because I wanted something a bit more unique and less popular than the classic Angel. Even though I bought it blind, I ended up loving it. To me, it’s a rich and intense fragrance, yet it still gives off a distinctly summery vibe. The main notes I can pick up are patchouli and a creamy coconut accord. The longevity is excellent—I can still smell it on myself for 10–12 hours. Strangely, after a while it seems to disappear from my clothes while lasting even longer on my skin, which is the opposite of what usually happens with most perfumes. The projection is also impressive. People around me often tell me they can smell it before I even arrive, and that it easily fills the room I’m in. Overall, I think it’s a beautiful, modern summer fragrance with a strong presence.

I think this might be my favorite fragrance ever. I just got gifted a full bottle and I've been in awe ever since. This to me smells like a full moon night in the heart of winter. It's strange considering that it's so sweet, but it has a dark, musky, esoteric accord to it despite the fruity notes. I smelled this for the first time when I was given a tester at a beauty shop and I remember being immediately addicted. I wore this to one of the best parties of my life back in January and it always brings me back to that feeling of excitement and haziness. The air was cold that night, the wind sharp, and my fingers stiff, and I remember how the sweetness of the pineapple especially stood out in that weather. Also, this scent is eternal. It stays even after showering sometimes. It's so, so pretty and frosty and sugary.

straight out of the box, this smells off putting in the first couple of minutes but it quickly turns pleasantly boozy(or juicy?) and chocolatey on my skin. thats what it smelled like in the heat, but when i tested it in the winter time i could only smell amber. to me its patchouli’s tamer in hotter temps, making the other notes stand out. the floral note(s) hold it back from smelling completely gourmand and i don't really mind that. weirdly enough it does remind me of hypnotic poison, but a version that’s appropriate for summer. it doesn't smell preppy despite the tropical notes and its freshness reminds me of men's perfume. it smells grungy so i'm really into it. ill be using mine regularly EDIT: the dry down consistently gives off the smell of the original EDP wayy more than the 2019 edt, so thats cool

This is quite different from anything I own and it was a blind buy but a successful one. I really love it, and find it addictive. I don’t pick up any fruits I get the original Angel DNA of the patchouli and I do get the praline / chocolate, not listed and a suntan coconut. It’s smoother and more mellow than the OG and possibly a bit gourmand, It’s very moreish, deep, rich, not as loud as the OG but smoother and less sweet but still has sweetness.It’s got good strength and ok longevity, it does become quite soft after the first hour but I think others around you can smell it. I’d say it’s a more upto date version of Angel as the OG just smells of the 90’s. I love the bottle it’s so pretty. I’ve used half of my 50ml bottle in a week so I’ve just ordered the refil as I love it that much.

ouuu i fear this beats the OG angel for me. like the OG, it slaps you in the face with patchouli when you spray it, but quickly mellows out to a creamy coconut and pineapple, a development that OG angel sadly lacks. someone here said this smells like "banging MILFs on vacation," and...yeah. this is a sexy, mature pina colada scent. i received this as a christmas gift so i've only ever used it in cold weather but i imagine this would bloom in the summer. fair warning though, sillage and longevity are nuclear, particularly on clothes, so spray sparingly. i layer this with vanilla 28 in cold weather to bring out the vanilla notes. this is perfect if you're an alt baddie like me and want a summer scent that isn't your typical aquatics, fruit, or flowers.

I love this one! 🖤It seems like Mugler is still my favourite fragrance house, even after it was bought by L'Oreal. Angel Fantasm smells like pineapple and coconut milk to my nose (on top of OG Angel's DNA). It is very close to a Pina Colada. I tested it in the winter and I perceived it very coconut heavy, a creamy coconut (reminded me of Palmer's Coconut body lotion). I got a 50 ml bottle this summer and wore it at the beach. In the summer heat, I smell the pineapple more and the coconut takes second place. It is long-lasting and it has very good sillage, but it's not a beast mode like the original Angel. I think it can be worn all year. Overall, it's a win and I'm thinking about getting a back-up bottle if I will find a discount.

I love the OG Angel but could never wear it I have a bottle with to sniff whenever I wanted to. But this Fantasm is an Angel that I can really wear to work / have fun with friend / night out, it has the OG Angel DNA but with a touch of coconut + pineapple mixed with the sweetness it smells like a vacation with a cup of pinacolada!!!! It also has the patchouli heavy base but not as dirty as the OG~ I think the performance is very good not super in your face with polite and decent projection longevity is very good easy 10hours+ on me~ I can see the similarity with another flanker Stella, they smell very different on the opening but 85% the same dry down~ I prefer the addition of creamy coconut + pineapple so I bought Fantasm!

Yes. Smells good. It will be my summer fragrance. A little Angely but I also get a hint of alien goddess intense, but just in the opening... Smells a bit unisex.... After trying the samples I thought I was going to return it, but I changed my mind.... I do think this will do better in colder weather. Wore to work for the first time today. Clients/customer service... Applied liberally 7 sprays or so at 7am by 11 nice soft angely/coconut skin scent. I had to let it soften before going to work. Glad I kept it. 5pm and still getting soft wafts of the fragrance. Is so nice. Winner :) I’d love a body lotion like this to add some intensity. It’s very skin scenty not long after spraying. Not nuclear like the og.

Such an interesting take on the original Angel! I love that they kept the DNA: bitter sweet patchouli with cotton candy and a bit of fruitiness in the opening. Fantasm is creamier, sweeter and instead of the velvety chocolate present in the OG, it has bourbon vanilla which offers a lighter base. I like that the pineapple and coconut are not excessive. They’re perfectly balanced, offering a memorable yet not defining tropical quality to the fragrance. I usually don’t like very coconut forward perfumes, because they strike me as kind of... greasy smelling, lol. So I’m glad this has more of a pina colada vibe rather than straight up coconut pulp. Very good and long lasting!

Fantasm has the DNA of the original Thierry Mugler Angel with the intense spice of the patchouli and Tiare flower, but a unique spin with the heavy coconut warmth and citrus twist. I consider this my signature fragrance, and find its perceived as much more 'wearable' compared to the original Angel (which I love). The coconut and pineapple combine to create a burnt sugar aroma, its incredibly sweet but less beachy than you'd expect from the top notes. The lasting power is impressive overall, lingering hours and hours after applied. I wear this the most in the darker months as it has a darker depth that I find shines best when its cold out.

Après le premier spray d'un échantillon que j'ai eu en boutique... je l'ai directement acheté et c'est devenu un de mes parfums signatures. Il sent extrêmement bon, un parfum d'été à la plage, l'ensemble est harmonieux et j'adore l'ananas qui ajoute du piquant et fait ressortir le tout. D'après mon entourage le sillage est vanillé, mais personnellement je sens beaucoup l'ananas. Il tient bien mais avec le flacon de voyage j'aime faire une retouche au bout de 3-4h car les notes de tête et de cœur me sont trop irrésistibles ! Je suis étonnée qu'il ne soit pas hyper populaire car l'odeur est vraiment unique.

On paper this scent reads summer, yet I also could see myself wearing this in winter. It is super sweet and coconutty, and it has great longevity. I would not repurchase, just because of personal preference, this isn't super authentic to me and my aesthetic/vibe, but it is someone out there's signature fragrance. It's also a bit costly, but I think that if you love coconut and summery vibes with a bit of woody undertones, it's well worth the purchase. Also my favourite Angel flanker that I have tried. (Yet to try Nova, I know I'll love it more hahahah) UPDATE: Hated Nova. LMAO

This is such a beautiful tropical fragrance and I'm so excited to be buying it soon! I've been playing with it in-store for the past few weeks to see how it performs, both in terms of longevity and sillage and it's so powerful. On clothes it literally stays on for DAYS. The initial spray is reminiscent of the original Angel but much more toned down and mixed with a lot of pineapple, and it gradually morphs into a very soft, sweet coconut in the dry-down. As someone who is obsessed with tropical fragrances, this smells so yummy to me. Literally piña colada in a perfume bottle!

Finished my og angel bottle and bought this as an replacement. The moment i smelled this a year ago i knew it was gonna be a PROBLEM. Very very diva doll experimental tropical vibes.... Smells like lasered lips and pina coladas in Capri, all on a old bag-o-bones's dime. It also has this permeating smell of natural gas ? It smells like the gas cylinders in my chem lab when left unclosed, but it somehow works imo. Ugh. Low key one of the best scents L'Oreal has put out. Whoever was the nose that thought that this perfume would slap, i hope you get a Nobel prize or something.

Very nice , I didn’t expect to like this one as much as I do. Patchouli forward , but it’s not dirty, just a tad earthy with a chocolate nuance. Pineapple runs throughout the fragrance in the back, providing a slightly tart, yet creamy piñacoloda along with the vanilla and coconut. Slightly powdery. It gets sweeter and juicier on my skin the longer it sits. It’s lasts about 6 hours and projections moderate . Perfect for year round because it’s not just light that patchouli and vanailla does give it more denseness that it can work as a winter scent to me

I ordered this based on the positive reviews here, and am not disappointed! There is a very noticeable similarity with the original Angel EdP and whilst it sounds like a tropical fragrance on paper, I wouldn't wear this on very warm days and really don't get a fruity or summery vibe from it. Rather, the coconut combined with the patchouli produces a marzipany scent, which is delicious! Like the OG, it is heavy and long-lasting and a big improvement on the previous, Elixir version. A safe blind buy in my opinion, as long as you're a fan of the Angel DNA.

I’ve been obsessed with this ever since it came out last summer.. Fantasm has cast its spell upon me and I couldn’t be happier. Creamy, sexy, alluring, and complex.. it just makes me genuinely feel good, confident and irresistible. The blend of pineapple coconut and vanilla patchouli is truly addictive and downright mouthwatering. Yummmmmm ! Edit: just tried out the newest Angel flanker, Stellar, and it’s really nice too! Very reminiscent of Fantasm, but instead of a pina colada vibe it’s switched out for pistachio.. soooooooo good.. maybe even better

The more I wear Angel Fantasm the more I've started to fall in love with it! This has original Angel's sweetness with added juicy pineapple and creamy coconut which makes this fragrance such a joy to wear. The dirty patchouli in the original Angel that smells of BO to some people is toned down in here making this fragrance easier to wear. I've also got so many compliments on this. The longevity and projection is very good. I'm glad to have a 100ml bottle of this incredible fragrance that I'm able to spray generously without the fear of running out.

This scent intrigues me. I can't stop sniffing myself and be a bit thrown back by it at the same time. For 2 hours there's a lingering scent that makes me think of something old, like a musty bergamot sprayed with some pineapple juice, but in the best way possible. It also reminds me of a perfume my father used to wear ages ago that I can't remember its name. It dries down to a warm coconut-y & vanilla-y patchouli that feels very intimate & luscious. Overall I like it, it's one of the weirdest scents I smelled and enjoyed.

You'll only notice this Angel fantasm when you actually use it... Don't judge at the first spray... You need to use it to evaluate... And more than once... And yes, Loreal didn't disappoint! Authentic Mugler DNA with excellent performance... Better than some niche ones I have... Projects... It is praised by everyone and lasts for days and days on clothes. One of the best launches in perfumery in recent years and very different from all the women's perfumes out there that seem to all smell the same.

It's soo sensual with all of the best of Angel - I don't understand why it's not talked about as much, as its a masterpiece, a mighty love letter to the OG. The creators of this sumptuous juice is: **Louise Turner and Jacques Huclier** Fragrantica have strangely left this off the opening description. ANGEL BODY CREAM This is gorgeous and works under a lot of the Mugler range as does the Alien Body Cream - both are sublime and the boxes are to die for.

I think I’ve reviewed this before back when it first came out, and it was positive then...but now it’s even more so. This has hands down become one of my most worn fragrances since it was released. The original Angel is my #1 love but this is an extremely close second. So warm and sweet with that sassy Angel patchouli still kicking 🤤 Lasts forever and leaves the best trail. Praying to the perfume gods that this NEVER gets discounted. The new Alien Extraintense however....we won’t discuss her 🤭

Dynamite! Fantasm gives echoes of my '92 OG Angel, minus civit, tonka & cocoa. Started wearing this in a warm, early Autumn. I wonder how it may change in cooler winter. Right now, I observe no opening coconut or bergamot scent but a realistic pineapple juice that hangs on as the vanilla and patchouli evolve. Preferred over Angel Stellar, which is too pistachio-heavy for everyday. Last ~6 hours on my skin. When I found it on a discounter's webite, I ordered a back up!

I have worn angel for 20 odd years - I love this flanker - the coconut note is delicious and sensual and the pineapple is not too fruity. It lasts very well - I think it definitely an evening scent but I've been wearing it all day and night - if you like Angel you are not afraid of stronger scents anyway. This is the best variation so far - while I love Angel EDT for something slightly different - this is original - smokey, milky sweet, very sexy and love the bottle.

This is a very nice perfume and very easy to wear (maybe not in the hottest weather), but it's not an absolute love for me. I wish I got the pineapple note but I just don't. I know packaging shouldn't matter but I don't think the colour of the bottle in any way reflects the vibe of the juice inside. I love a sweet coconut note but the coconut here is more of the fresh kind and not creamy. With a little tweak this could so easily have been a big love for me.

My newfound obsession with Mugler fragrances continues with Fantasm. :) This is amazing, and I'm currently resisting the urge to spray myself with it 5 more times. Haha! The pineapple note smells like a hint of freshly cut pineapple and isn't overtly tropical. It's certainly well-suited to be someone's summertime signature, but it's also totally wearable year-round IMO.... The way this house does coconut and bourbon vanilla notes is unbeatable for me.

Yes, yes, yes!!! It’s sexy, it’s sophisticated, it’s playful. It gives femme fatale laying on the beach, trenched in a shade made by a big coconut tree. It’s the only perfume with patchouli in it that I can spray on myself and not only NOT gag, but appreciate the harshness of it as a trade for a beautiful fragrance - rich, deep and mysterious. That’s how a poisonous summer smells. That’s how the first two seasons of The White Lotus smell like to me!

I ordered a sample of this out of what I assumed would be morbid curiosity, but the joke's on me because I absolutely love it! Very tropical and summery with the coconut taking a backseat to the pineapple. Works surprisingly well with some of the other typical Angel notes and manages to smell like summertime without being sickly sweet or juvenile, and somehow manages to avoid smelling like sunscreen. What a pleasant surprise! I love it!

okay so update. the new EOS beach waves lotion (pineapple, coconut, tiare flower) layers with this so exceptionally well. the lotion lets the top notes of fantasm linger waaaaaaay longer before that beautiful vanilla bourbon base radiates through. I also found that layering this with tihota by indult takes this to another level and accentuates the vanilla bourbon. my coworker said i smelled like a bakery. literally mouthwatering combo

I don't know why it reminds me of being inside a shisha cafe or something - and I am saying this in a good way though. I only tried this because they didn't have the OG Angel at the Sephora I went to and I wanted to try something they had instead. So long lasting and amazing. Stayed at my wrist for so long. So cool. Also I don't understand why but it has some anise seed vibes. Maybe the combination of bergamot and patchouli.

I love it very much. In the beginning it smells like piña colada with its typical pineapple and coconut and then it settles into a sandalwood and vanilla dream. A gentle perfume not very strong. I sprayed 3 times and 20 min later in the car my family could not smell it unless really sniffing my hair. Love it so much, it’s not really an Angel more of what tropical spicy Bronze Goddess should have smelt like.

If you love the original Angel and the coconut note, you will absolutely adore this fragrance. It's not as beastie as the original Angel, and the patchouli note is more balanced and modern. The longevity is also good, lasting around six hours with decent projection for the first two hours. Don’t just go by what others say; I tried it on my skin and completely fell in love with it. @deepgreenbeauty

jesus christ this is so good. fresh cut pineapple and coconut off rip and a heavy dose of warm patchouli and creamy gardenia. then after a while the dry down leaves you with a sweet, floral, bourbon vanilla. for me this is a year-round scent. does not get cloying in the heat in my experience. soflo here. the dent in my bottle is already humongous. mugler don't you ever discontinue this.

A deliciously succulent and long-lasting piña colada with patchouli and vanilla. But please, let's not kid ourselves here, the patchouli isn't as persistent as in the original Angel, and the final notes are very sweet and delicate. I once again think that the finishes of Mugler perfumes are still wonderful. If you don't like pineapple or coconut, don't even go near it...run away now

This is freaking amazing! I would call this a sophisticated pina colada :) The patchouli in the base is not strong at all, but it grounds the fragrance nicely. Any occasion, any season. Great longevity and projection. My partner, who rarely compliments me on anything, noticed this both times I wore it. And from a distance and just from 2 sprays each time! Amazing. Love it.

I am in loveeee. It's a sharpy fruity opening, but settles as a warm vanilla vibe. Also the bottle is gorgeous!! 🌌🖤 Idk why but to me it's giving girly cologne; it's not a fresh clean scent, but a stronger one with more personality and depth that lasts quite literally the whole day angel fantasm you have my heart you must NEVER be discontinued ...
