Angel Iced Star

In my opinion this was the last amazing release from Mugler. I absolutely LOVE this scent and realized this morning that I have nearly finished my bottle which is crushing as it has been discontinued. On my skin this scent pulls bright, tart pineapple with a lovely, fresh coconut in the background. I think the patchouli in this is far more 'fresh' than in the original (this has very few similarities to the OG in my opinion) and just helps the longevity. In contrast to the Alien Goddess line this is far brighter, more juicy with the pineapple and fruitier. The coconut is more subdued and the absence of florals keeps it perfect for the summer heat as it does not become cloying on my skin. In the dry down there is a lovely vanilla- coconut. This lasts on my skin for hours and hours, leaves a lovely scent trail for at least 4 hours before sitting closer. This is NOT your typical 'fruit-chouli'. I do not agree that this smells like the 2019 Eau Croisiere, I have that also and it is a syrupy sweet mango based scent, lovely but quite different. I LOVE coconut in fragrances however my nose and skin chemistry sometimes have a hard time with it, I often just smell plastic coconut or coconut dolls which I do not care for, making this scent all the more precious as the coconut smells like a realistic, fresh coconut. If you can find a bottle at a discounter or reliable eBay seller, and you love juicy, fruity, coconut-y, but unique fragrances, buy it! EDIT - This also layers so beautifully with the Tree Hut Coco-Colada whipped body butter or the Hempz Pineapple lotion, yummy!

Angel Iced Star opens with a burst of fresh pineapple, sweetened by the coconut, vanilla, and praline~ As it dries down, it turns creamier and has an almost mango note? The patchouli stays pretty subtle, and never takes over the scent profile! The longer it wears, the vanilla and praline really shine ♡ It evokes drinking a pina colada by the pool or eating a bowl of ice cream topped with fresh fruit, but it also has this delightfully warm and cozy quality that I adore.. It perfectly toes the line between being a tropical beach scent, and the enveloping warmth I want from a gourmand one! Its a scent that's youthful and fun, but not too painfully immature.. It's not overtly sexy, but it wouldn't feel out of place to wear this with something sexy in a relaxed, beachy way (maybe the energy of a bikini peeking out from a cute summer knit hanging off one shoulder and a pair of perfectly fit shorts?) Testing it again to review has me realizing that I haven't worn it nearly enough~ I agree that it lacks the typical Angel DNA, but I can't be bothered about that! Its simple, but beautiful and easy to wear. This is perfect for anyone looking for heat-friendly gourmand scents!! Its refreshing, and has more depth and interest than the typical sunscreen coconut scents that come out around summer~ Since its sadly been discontinued, and this is likely the only bottle I'll be lucky enough to own, I'll be cherishing it and using it with lots of intention! ♡

This is by far my favorite Mugler fragrance. Many times this house is so in your face with its strangeness and intensity that I find them difficult to love even though I like many of them. This one has a certain soft deliciousness. This is supposed to be pineapple but strangely enough I get mango. I love both those fruits so I’m very happy. I find mango to smell very tropical but it does have a slightly faint green smell which this has. I wonder if that could be the patchouli smelling slightly green mixing with the sweet pineapple. I usually find the patchouli in Angel to be very spicy and earthy but not here. I get the creaminess of the coconut and vanilla which are just gorgeous and idk if I’m becoming anosmic to patchouli but I just don’t smell it like the other Angel’s. Which quite frankly I thought was impossible for a fragrance in the Angel line. I probably am just mixing the patchouli & pineapple to = mango. It’s just that in the original Angel the patchouli is so intense and earthy which comes across dirty & overpowering. But, this is just perfect.

Hello my lovelies, This perfume is pina colada in a bottle of perfume. I am an absolute fan of a cheeky little pina colada and iced star smells just like it. It doesn't smell anything like the other coconut perfumes I own like lveb Soliel cristal, the only one intense, SJP NYC and coco vanille those ones are sweet and creamy but without the pineapple. The opening is just coconut milk, pineapple and vanilla and that is what I'm getting through out. SILLAGE The sillage is the typical Mugler sillage it's just a wee bit toned down. LONGEVITY I can't really say much about the longevity as I just got it today. VERDICT This a successful blind buy for me, if you love the smell of pina colada or even coconut milk, pineapple and vanilla milkshake you will love it and it will be a successful blind buy I got it from the origines website (delivered to the UK within a week). It is an F-ing shame Mugler didn't released a full sized flanker such as a 100ml for example. It is one of my favorite Angel flanker with the newest Elixir. Angel EDP is a masterpiece but I hate the way it smells ultra dirty on me, I don't get the cotton candy, nor my beloved coconut. Wat I get is a chocolate, honey and patchouli scent that smells like somebody sweated their body the most it possibly could after gym. With Iced Star, you fully get the creamy coconut surrounded by a mouth wattering pineapple that I normally hate as a perfume note but surprisingly, it isn't the case here. The praline making the whole blend even more Gourmand is the cherry on top of the cake. I smell the vanilla just an isty bitsy bit and the patchouli is just here to create more depth to that overly sweet scent, that could give your nostrills diabetes. (just joking it's perfectly sweet) 8/10 for the main fact that it doesn't exist in a bigger flanker and that it's now even more overpriced because it is now discontinued...

Angel Iced Star is a bit cold, sideral(?) at first, at that moment I think of metal. Is the way I perceive the pineapple I suppose. This phase remains for a time that seems to me unlimited. Then it settles right down on skin, without however losing completely its freshness and crispness, at this level I can taste a bit reluctant but comforting coconut. Just thanks to the pyramid I can easily imagine it. By way of conclusion is like a wonder of desired warm coconut hugs, in a cool sidereal space, aiming at pralines that appear soft and waving, as the oasis of mirages. I think this Angel will be in my heart forever, I therefore hope that it will not be a limited edition. It’s a special gift, my husband's gift for mother's day. I'm a lonely mommy, my only pearl is up there. She's the brightest Star, so that I never lose my way. I'd like to dedicate Angel Iced Star to the beautiful lonely moms like me, if any, to whom I give a hope of peace and strength, and my strong embrace.

I purchased this sometime during its short availability not thinking it would be discontinued so quickly. I just thought the notes sounded right up my alley so I ordered it online. I loved it instantly but have so many others that I put it on display with the rest of my muglers. I rarely look up fragrances I own after I own them so as this star sat I was unaware of it now being hocked on eBay for a couple hundred dollars but I picked it up recently because I was wanting something tropical, fruity, sweet. Exactly what Iced Star is! I have been wearing it for a full week and have come to adore it so much I went to this page to locate some available back ups and...... well you can probably figure out the rest. I sit here with all the others mourning this now hard to find gem.

This was an instant love. The pineapple coconut combo is so well done! At first you get a strong blast of the former, very tangy sweet, syrupy and juicy. It settles down fast, not disappearing but entering a balance with the coconut, making it come off as milky, raw and fresh. To me this is one of those perfumes that just smells so delicious it makes your eyes roll back a bit. It especially impressed me because I tested it alongside LVEB Soleil Cristal and Ariana's Thank U Next, and the coconut in those two was dry, synthetic and unpleasant to me. Looking at the votes, it seems I get a lot more praline here than most people. That gourmand sweetness with the hint of patchouli successfully reminds me of both the original Angel and the 2019 EdT.

I am a huge fan of any fragrance that contains Coconut and I’m a massive fan of the House of Mugler! So when I heard that there was a new version of Angel that had coconut as one of the main focus notes I was super excited! I have to say I am not disappointed. The first 5 minutes after spraying it it has a very very similar vibe to Angel Eau Croisière 2019. But the longer you wear it the coconut really comes out! The pineapple is probably what reminds me of Eau Croisière 2019. The dry down is probably the best part of the scent as you can still smell the coconut note but the vanilla and the praline notes really blend out nicely with it and it smells incredible! This is 100% in my top 5 favourite fragrances from Mugler.

In love with this fragrance! The opening is gorgeous and fresh with pineapple and coconut that linger through to the dry down, but is more prominent in the first hour after spraying. The praline and vanilla add a warmth and sweetness and the patchouli gives it enough earthiness to keep it well rounded. Definitely unisex. I have Angel Eau Croisiere as well and they are both different and I'm happy to have both. This reminds me of sipping a piña colada somewhere tropical. Full bottle worthy 9/10 ❤😍 Edit - I paired this with Hempz pineapple and honey lotion and it really brought out the pineapple in this fragrance and made me love it even more. Highly recommend.

Oh man I love this way more than I thought I would! Totally a risky blind buy for me as I'm not obsessed with pineapple but DAMN this opens with a coconutty, candied pineapple that honestly just takes me to a beach immediately with some ridiculous fruity cocktail in my hand and the warmth of the sun on my skin. I have a coworker who follows me around to smell me when I wear this, she's obsessed when I spray it! Sillage isn't the same as OG Angel, the patchouli is minimal, it's not a "dirty" scent (love me some dirty Angel though!), I do recommend it, DEFINITELY a summer scent. Recommend!!! This is NOT Eau Croisiere, they are not interchangeable.

Delicious! It's such a lovely creamy coconut with hints of mango (not listed tho but I'd say the pineapple mixed with the vanilla gives us that tropical mango thing that I adore) it's perfume that works perfectly fine on a hot afternoon or a fresh morning by the beach, it feels somehow warm an cozy but not cloying at all. another important thing - It doesn't smell like a sunblock and I really, really, really appreciate that. If you are looking for something to wear on a fancy dinner or a nice morning or evening walk by the beach, this one right here will be your best friend.

Very strong blast of pineapple at the start. Settles into a very sweet, fruity coconut. A little bit beachy, but more tropical fruits than the usual coconut-vanilla type scents. And it has depth from the patch. I’m wearing it in winter as I can’t stand fruity sweet scents in summer as they are too cloying for me. And it’s actually a nice match for the snow outside, there’s a kind of sweet warmth in the base that elevates this above a fruity body spray style scent. Very well done, grab a bottle if you can find it (I’m in the UK and can’t find it anywhere)!

Sweet and fruity, smells like what a tropical vacation on the beach would smell like! To me, I mostly smell the pineapple and coconut notes, with a hint of vanilla. It's also very fresh, perfect for those hot summer days! Performance wise, eh. It lasts in between two and three hours, and it doesn't leave a trail. Others would only really notice I was wearing when I walked by them or they came closer to me. Overall, 6/10. Smells wonderful, the performance is okay, and the value is okay too for what you get.

Beautiful, just beautiful and oh so pretty in warm weather! Such a wonderful pineapple 🍍 and coconut 🥥 fragrance laced with patchouli and sweetness. To me, it is definitely reminiscent of the OG Angel but with that tropical twist. This is a lovely sweet coconut and pineapple scent for summer. Smells exactly like I expected. Very gourmand, simple but delicious and quite realistic. I have no idea why Mugler keeps releasing Angel flankers that (in my opinion) have nothing to do with the original such as this one and Nova. Considering how polarizing the original is, I think a lot more people would try their newest releases if they would not make them look and sound like a variation of Angel.

I’ve been searching for the perfect summer, tropical, pineapple scent and this is IT! So creamy, sweet and beautiful. A lot of the tropical scents I was trying included coconut in the notes and it was just the most off putting smell. I was beginning to think coconut was just not an ingredient for me...until I smelled this! This is coconut done right! Smoother, creamier, delectable. Love it! Got a bottle for cheap online at Saks off 5th.

My favorite Angel flanker, hands down! I know the purists will say it smells nothing like the original, but I do detect the Angel DNA underneath the creamy coconut and bright, fruity pineapple. However, the patchouli/praline is not too strong or off-putting, it is just right and the patchouli in particular almost gives this fragrance an effervescence like a bubbly tropical cocktail! I only wish it lasted longer, but alas it is an EDT.

This smells so incredible for summer. I love the pineapple so much, and with the patchouli it stops it smelling too young. I’m so sad it’s no longer available in the UK. I assumed it was discontinued everywhere but I just looked now on the Mugler USA website and see it’s available!! It would be too expensive with the shipping, customs/import tax fees though. So sad they are not selling this on the UK Mugler website or in stores here.

What a fantastic summer fragrance. I love anything tropical but tried this with the expectation that it would smell like your typical fruity body spray with a hint of suntan lotion. It doesn't. It is grounded in earthy patchouli (not dirty or overpowering at all), interwoven with creamy coconut and fresh, juicy pineapple. Delicious and tropical but not too young. Also, would wear this year round since it's both fresh and warm.

A Nordstrom Rack blind buy from a couple years ago, I'm so glad I have Iced Star in my collection. It's positively delicious, I get juicy, very ripe, sun-warmed pineapple. I'm so glad the coconut in here goes full, ultra creamy, soft coconut milk instead of suntan oil coconut. I feel like an absolute dessert when I wear this, I've layered it with Philosophy Fresh Cream a few times and really liked them together.

Oh my! This fragrance is freaking amazing At first spray I get that coconut note straight away then dried down to this sweet tropical scent. I absolutely love this fragrance but it’s not as strong as any of muglers fragrances because his fragrances are very strong. If you’re not into the original angel or alien I’d definitely recommend this Angel as your light summer fragrance definitely ideal for a daytime wear

I bought this one accidentally at the airport while on my way to holidays to Greece... ever since I remember it well, and missing it in my collection. I recently found the very accurate dupe and came in here to share it with all the lovers. Zeena Perfume by Khalis. I watched a youtube video of a Perfume Girl I follow.. and I gave it a try for £25. Worth it:)

Another stunning fragrance by Mugler. It is not beast mode. It's a summer perfume, a bit tropical, youthful and fun. I am loving this scent but unfortunately it does not last very long which is surprising for Mugler fragrance.. I had tested it, I knew that performance was average but thought it was worth me buying because I think it smells really good.

Love. Have Had it for a couple years. Only wear it a handful of times a year. I’m not sure why because it’s delicious! I just wanted to jump on here and add that to me it smells a lot like bubble gum in the beginning. Must be fruitiness of the fruits with a dash of creaminess from the coconut mixed with the sweetness of the praline. Smells like heaven

It is cute, fruity, and not dirty on me. I did 5 sprays at 11am yesterday before taking a long walk in the dog day heat. I think sweating a little + whatever is in my spray-on sunscreen made it last longer. It lasted throughout the day, I went to bed, then woke up this morning still smelling it at 7am. It doesn't project super far though.

This perfume is absolutely gorgeous is like a sweet vacation in a bottle . You get the pineapple with coconut with the delicious peeling and vanilla ❤️❤️ you the patchouli is very very light but helps make this last all day ! I spray it in the morning before going to work and I can still smell it at 7 at night ! Nothing like the original

Oh my god I love this perfume I just got it today after been searching for it in stores and I finally put it on and I fell in love!! I love the pineapple in the frag with the coconut blends very well together. I would definitely recommend this after I was searching for a pineapple frag and it hits the spot!

Perfect realistic pineapple fragrance. Of all the Angel’s I’ve tried, this is the only one that turns “dirty” on me. Shame, because I love it and it literally smells like a tropical vacation— would be the perfect summer scent. Lasts all day. Patchouli, pineapple and coconut. Leans feminine.

If you are looking for the perfect pina colada scent that’s well blended and doesn’t smell cheap, then this is for you. It’s a creamy, pineapple coconut heaven and such a perfect summer scent. I really rate this and the colour of the bottle makes it really stand out.

Definitely surprised at how much I enjoy this one! I’m really picky about coconut notes but this is so bright and sparkling and refreshing. It smells like Ocean Water from Sonic in the best way possible. I just might have to get a full bottle.

Pina colada patchouli smoothie. Delicious, lovely, sweet fragrance. But not, too sweet. That patchouli really helps balance out the sweetness without over powering the fragrance. Last all day. Love it.

Creamy, fruity and warm... the opening is a true tart pineapple, I don’t really smell the patchouli, as for the dry down it settles in with the praline and vanilla for a creamy and sweet skin scent...

My absolute favorite summer fragrance. Smells like a pina colada. Lasts forever in the hot humid pits of Hell that I call home.

People from certain parts of Europe may remember those pink, white and brown exotically scented soft sweets that were dusted in coconut flakes: Kokosrollen (coconut sticks). They were regarded as nostalgic even when I was a child, because even my parents had had them has as a treat when they were small. Angel Iced Star does not smell nostalgic per se, but it's that intense combo of coconut and pineapple that is just the same as in those sweets. Maybe it is that association that makes me like Angel Iced Star like so much more than the original Angel, which has always been difficult for me to say the least. The original Angel is super loud and super sweet. I pretty much detested it from the beginning. Angel Iced Star, however, feels like a tropical-yet-subdued version of the original. It is still loud and sweet, but it doesn't beat me over the head with too much complexity. Plus: despite its sweetness, it somehow radiates a sort of coolness which I enjoy. On my skin, Angel Iced Star mostly smells of the above mentioned sweets (meaning coconut and pineapple) and hints of toffee/praline notes. It is a linear fragrance that starts off rather loud but becomes a skin-scent approximately four hours after application. Around six hours after the first spritz, most of the fun is over, with a faint trace of praline remaining on my skin until hour 8. In my opinion, Angel Ice Star is a young fragrance. Personally, I wouldn't wear it over the age of 40. It is not per se a feminine perfume. In fact, I can well imagine experimental urban boys/young men having fun with it, which might even feel more interesting, given women obviously were the target group. While Angel Ice Star certainly is not the kind of fragrance that I would want to own (or would I...?), to my surprise I did enjoy it to the degree I give a recommendation. Fans of the original Angel, however, might be better off with a test sniff before purchasing it... TL;DR: nostalgic tropical praline with cooling qualities

Such a gem. I’m trying to figure out why the *%#+$ this was discontinued. Loreal must not have been able to reformulate this without making it smell like crap, like with the OG Angel reformation. The noses behind Good Girl (love it or hate it, it’s one of the most popular best selling perfumes), great reviews for this, and it’s immediately discontinued. Huh. Wut. Doesn’t smell like original angel or reformulated angel. But it’s a delicious tropical fruity gourmand. Not too much patchouli. I wanted this last year but couldn’t find it. Mugler and algorithms recommended Eau Croisseire, said it was coconut and tropical. It’s not. It’s a cheap bitter fig, loud with no sweetness. I tried to like it but decluttered it. Finally found someone willing to sell Iced Star for a reasonable price. So glad I got it. I’d stock up on backups but the rates on eBay are insane, not worth it IMO. I hope the designers make an even better version of this scent under a better brand. I always loved Mugler, but I’m not a fan of the new L’Oréal flankers and reformulations. None of them last, they smell watered down, and cheap body spray-like now. This was the last true gem released by Mugler. I’m going to go cry into my perfumes pillow about it now.

I was surprised this is so nice. Not that much into L'Oreal's Mugler. A bit of a crime what they did to the original Angel, which was a groundbreaking fragrance. And Angel Elixir was a big swing and miss... But this scent is a not overly sweet, coconut gem...warm and inviting and very summer like. It has that tropical vibe without smelling like tanning lotion. It gets soft of the skin fairly quickly, no the sillage isn't great, but still am tempted to pick up a bottle, as it really is a well blended, very pleasing, summer scent. Some coconut perfumes smell SO much like a Pina Colada..this one retains it's floral character, with the coconut whispering sweet nothings in the mix. I don't smell ANY patchouli, btw.. Nothing juvenile about it. A very grown up tropical beauty, worth a try. EDIT- I JUST received a sample of this 3 days ago from Mugler directly. AND you can't get it. THIS IS L'OREAL MUGLER these days ..who does that??

I really like this more than I thought! When I tested this with my sample vial from Mugler at 22-25 degrees C evening, I got a sharp pineapple that made the coconut remind me of a children facial moisturizer my father bought for me when I was a little kid. I got no praline or patchouli, and while I liked the piña colada vibe, it was a borderline like for me. However, when I sprayed this with my full bottle this morning (26-28 C), the pineapple much smoother, like fresh pineapple juice, and the coconut is creamier! Vanilla and praline comes out after 2 hours of spraying. Patchouli is not strong; it's there with the vanilla when the pineapple and coconut fades away. Looks like it really takes heat for this scent to bloom! 😎 Sillage is on the weaker side of Mugler EDT (weaker than the Cologne series), and longevity is about 7 hours.

I can only describe it as a coconut gourmand. The fresh top notes and middle coconut are sweet, juicy and delectable. The dry down becomes a bit flatter and sweet, and it is not groundbreaking in my opinion. If you had this in a decant you'd never guess it is Angel, but the bottle it's extraordinary and very Angel-esque in its beauty. I am unsure if this is overpriced, as the bottle is stunning and the scent is quite different, but it is not of the quality and does not feel groundbreaking as Angel or other Mugler (or should I say Thierry Mugler) scents. I am definitely keeping it, I love looking at it! and will happily use it, even reapply it often to enjoy the top and middle notes again and again.
