Angel Mugler Show Star

this has arrived, so to me it smells very similar to the original, maybe less patchouli and more chocolate and tobacco. i consider this my all time favourite fragrance! i can wear it now at 25 and again at 65! so versatile!

More choco - caramel than original Angel...mmm so sweet! I love it. This is for people who hates original Angel's overpowering patchouli :)

Is it the musk at the base that gives it that animalic touch? I swear I smell kind of like a BO scent with all the Angels on me. Even Glamorama, which is my favorite flanker thus far from the Angel line.

Angel Pants! Yes! This is amazing. It has the dense, sweet, tobacco-y honey and dark chocolate that I smell older Angels, with a touch less patchouli. These focus more of the pastry side of gourmand, with fewer fruits, which I smell more of in later versions. The strength of Show Star is amazing, it has massive throw. The Thierry Mugler formulation in this is clearly evident. I have several Angel EDPs, including Thierry Mugler, Thierry/CFG, and early Mugler. This one is one of the best, easily on par with the famed Glamorama. Glamorama's bottle is far more beautiful, though.

@jyumisong It's definitely the patchouli that gives the BO scent. Not all patchouli versions and iterations are the same (the kind in Chanel Mademoiselle imo does not give BO), but the kind in Mugler, including virtually every version of Angel (except maybe Elixir, I'm not sure) has that characteristic. Even when patchouli doesn't smell like BO, a lot of people preceive it as masculine.

I'm glad i have it!!!..as an Angel lover as i am...So nice & such a nice presentation with black leather accesorized with black Swarovsky!!!...such a pity it was limited edition!!!...
