Angel Nova

Absolutely gorgeous fragrance to my nose! I don't usually stop people and ask them what they're wearing. Usually I already know what scent someone has on, or it isn't particularly exciting when I do smell it. I had to ask the woman wearing this one what it was. My wife and I have and have had several Muggler Angel and A*men in our collection, none of the feminine propositions have tickled my olfactories in quite a pleasant way as this. The DNA is somewhat familiar, somewhat reminiscent of PDM Delina and Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl: roses, berries, and litchi are the stars in all three. All three also had Quentin Bisch cooking then up. Where with Delina you get a dark depth of, what smell to me like, incense and wood with a much stronger rose, Very Good Girl seems to drop some of the roses' depth and lean heavily into the sweet base notes and smells like there have been additions of other softer florals, Supernova amps up the fruity notes to the extreme. It reminds me of strawberry jam, sweet and delicious smelling! The rose is perfectly balanced and it is an absolute delight to experience. Supernova may not come across as intense as Delina, but it's definitely a very different mood. Supernova is bright and ripe, where Delina is a brooding dark composition. VGG is kind of the outlier and for all of the wrong reasons: too me, VGG is a muted composition, very restrained and safe by comparison. It straddles the line between Delina and Supernova but doesn't particularly excell past either of them in any areas. VGG plays it too safe, and while pleasant, it is boring in my opinion compared to the other two. Performance is incredibly good, projection is room filling and longevity is excellent. SN is definitely more intense than VGG, the sweetness is derived more from the fruits than the base, while it shares notes and DNA with Delina, it is just as intense but in a very different way. By classic fragrance gender conventions, I typically think many are unisex leaning one way or another. I think this one definitely leans feminine. This could be great for layering with other things to make it more wearable for men (Ombre Leather would likely be a good one!) I do have to disagree with the general consensus hear and say that I think SN will actually play better in the cold than the extreme heat, even though it is four season safe. SN definitely has a lot of sweetness to it that may be overwhelming on the hottest days, but this same quality will also bolster it on the coldest. I absolutely love this juice! I love Delina too. They use similar notes but balance them in very different ways and it works very well for both and they could be used for very different occasions. Supernova for the days, Delina for the nights! I can't say enough good about this one and it's definitely one of my favorite fragrances marketed to women. 94/100

Have you ever been told that you’re “too much”? Angel Nova, to me, is too much of a perfume and no, it’s not for everyone. But that makes me love it even more. The first time I smelled this on paper, I got hooked by the opening but repulsed by the middle. The lychee and rose smelled sickeningly sweet. I couldn’t get rid of it fast enough. Then something happened the second time - again on paper. I left the strip on the counter and went about getting ready for bed and a few hours later the smell had changed into this addictive scent I couldn’t get enough of. The third time was when I tried it on skin, and oh my god that opening had me giggling. The middle I still hadn’t made my peace with, but the dry down? Oh that gorgeous woody drydown, so similar to Tresor Midnight Rose, sealed the deal for me. I finally got a bottle from my sister for my birthday and I am over the moon! I’ve smelled quite a few in the same genre. Very Good Girl is very good, yes, but lacks the depth. Delina has a tartness that comes from the rhubarb, but lacks the juicy fruity opening. Tresor Midnight Rose ( a favourite of mine) has a darker opening, nothing as effervescent as Angel Nova. Angel Nova is bold and loud and happy - she’s the girl who gets the party started! Can she be annoying sometimes because she’s so perky all the time? Yes! But her enthusiasm is contagious. She’ll pull you in, hold you by the hand and drag you to the dance floor. You’ll roll your eyes but finally give in and later, much later, all glowing from the exuberance bubbling inside you, you’ll relent that yeah, it was fun to dance breathlessly. Angel Nova is that girl. You might love her or you might hate her - it doesn’t make a difference to her anyway - but you can’t ignore her. Too much of a perfume? Heck yes!

I wasn't expecting Angel Nova to become one of my most-worn fragrances. Rose, and especially rose paired with oud can be unpredictable on my skin, often leaning too heavy or too mature. Angel Nova completely changed my mind. This is sexy confidence wrapped in a stunning star-shaped bottle. From the first spray, you're met with an intoxicating burst of juicy raspberry and bright fruity sweetness that feels vibrant, playful, and alluring. As it settles, the heart reveals a rich, jammy rose that is sensual rather than powdery, adding depth without overwhelming the composition. The result is a fragrance that feels flirtatious, modern, and undeniably magnetic. Angel Nova has become my most complimented perfume. Complete strangers, (women and men alike) have stopped to ask what I'm wearing, and it's one of those rare fragrances that naturally draws people a little closer. What makes Angel Nova so captivating is its balance. It's fruity without feeling juvenile, sweet without becoming cloying, and the rose feels fresh, confident, and irresistibly sexy instead of vintage. It has the kind of effortless sensuality that lingers long after you've left the room. Performance is equally impressive. The longevity is excellent, and its radiant scent trail is impossible to ignore, leaving behind an unforgettable impression that's both feminine and bold. My bottle is completely empty, which says everything. Angel Nova isn't just another fruity floral, it's the fragrance I reach for when I want to feel confident, captivating, and just a little impossible to forget.

okay let me Cook..listen, I got my bottle on the crack of summer and It smelled decidedly bad. It was extremely masculine, wood and myrrh and nothing else. Smelled dry and extremely powdery with some slight decent-smelling transference on clothes. my boyfriend used It for two weeks as a 1 spray frag until he got a really Bad headache that he blames on this perfume. so I banished It to the back of my closet with the promise of revisiting It during the winter. well winter passed and I was too busy with Aura to care about Nova, spring came and I remembered about her. I think the "maceration" or oxidation inside the bottle really helped It because It is now WEARABLE FOR ME! And its nothing like the first impression I remember, now It smells like a Raspberry pineapple popcorn punch, I do not pick up rose much at all. It has like a minty quality that keeps It ever-fresh, kinda like chewing gum. I now CAN SEE THE VISION and understand the hype, smells really nice, not girly girl more like upscale maneater in a tailored Mugler powersuit. if you have recently purchased this and its not filling the quota, make sure to use some sprays and let It macerate for some months, perhaps youll be as surprised as I am now!

When i tested this perfume in store, i had a little accident with it. I meant to spray it on the testing strip but some of it got flung from the paper and landed into my wrist, instead. So I did what any sensible person would do: I let my skin absorb it and gave it a sniff. I immediately fell in love with this fragrance. It opens as really fruity but in a bold way, and as time passes, the raspberry note slowly transitions into a more floral scent of roses, but with a sharp edge, in the signature "Mugler DNA" kind of way. Wearing this perfume makes me feel more confident, it feels like I'm projecting a bolder side of myself, both inwards and outwards. As for duration, this fragrance is the definition of "eternal". When I use it, I spray myself only once on my neck, and I can still faintly feel the scent on my skin the next day when I wake up. My husband offered me this perfume as a valentine's day gift, which doesn't say much in terms of how well it performs, but I wanted to leave it here as a note to express how much I love this perfume. Solid 9/10, very good choice for those who are looking for a bold signature/statement fragrance that doesn't shy away from expressing who they are.

For those freaking out about "angel nova eau de parfum fruitee", I've smelled it side by side with the old bottle. It's the same thing. It seems a rebranding to me to match the other bottles, such as fantasm which is "eau de parfum sensuelle" or stellar, which is "eau de parfum lumineuse", and both feature gradient colored bottles unlike nova's old solid pink-red, and like nova's new gradient pink-red. If yours smells a little different, well, it has probably aged. Its performance is as beast mode as ever - I can smell it on others prominently after 10+ hours. Of course, the absolute fruit punch of fruity top notes is mostly gone after an hour - they do stay in the foreground a little, though. The rose is still there after 10 hours, though it also becomes more woodsy, which is really really pleasant. Non-linear which I appreciate. Definitely not a formal or cold-weather perfume, and be careful wearing it for work. Nonetheless signature-worthy, and indeed my girlfriend's signature. Definitely stands out.

I wasn't convinced, felt a bit too simplistic for its price point. I really didn't want to like it, despite having tested it as often as my girl came with me shopping. She was gaga about it, but a Mugler for a 10yo... I thought it was a bit exaggerated, and she should perhaps stick to the nauseating stuff sold for kids her age. But she never matched with those and is a big hater of sweet stuff. And then I cracked for her bday, got her a set with perfume and purse spray. Every time she cuddles next to me, her hair smells like raspberries and litchi, and it just fuses with her persona. Go figure... Her natural scent is pleasant but very strong, and somehow Angel Nova blends and enhances it. And I ask what's that smell as if I didn't know, and she hugs me tight and smiles bright, remembering the "omg" moment of opening up the gift. In conclusion, I am pleasantly surprised at what it can do on the right person, and its longevity is measured in days. Raspberry forever.

You're either going to love it or hate it. This is one of my other signature perfumes that I adore though. It's fruity, energetic, and nostalgic for me. I like to associate this scent with barbie movies but like the old low quality animation ones that you play on dvd players. But It's weird though because it also feels unbelievably suffocating and distorted? but in an unsettling comforting way? Best way to describe it is like having a really bubbly, extroverted golden retriever friend who doesn't shut up, doesn't know what taking a break is, never leaves you alone, definitely would get into trouble for doing something stupid but makes it a fun memory to look back on but at the same time something just doesn't feel quite right with them, almost as if they were a hologram. The longevity on this darn thing goes WILD as well. I remember wearing this to a party, washed the clothes and the scent was STILL FAINTLY STUCK ON IT.

I've seen a lot of frag commentators saying this is for 16 year old girls and honestly it might be but I don't give a f. EARTHY with the woody base notes. SUPER FROOT on the top. The drydown is to die for because it's just this vague swirl of fruit and delicious woody vibes. The sillage is insane. It lasts forever. I sniffed the nozzle a few times and went downstairs where my housemate immediately was like "whats that smell, it's really good." I really don't care that it has nothing to do with the original Angel or that this is basically a Loreal product [RIP Mugler - apparently they sold it to Loreal???] I'm gonna keep wearing it because it's great. I have a travel size which comes in this icicle-like magenta dagger. When I run out I'm going to get the classic star shaped bottle. the marketing and ads and whatever are cringe though. super independent cool girlboss, WE GET IT

i will edit this later if i can, but i really like this as i only sprayed it on my wrist once, and i still smell it without having to pull my wrist up close. I think its refreshing for me as someone who mostly opts for gourmand scents. I sprayed it on my wrist but my sleeve somehow REEKS of it (in a good way) and just,,, wow. This perfume performs so good, and i think it is THE PERFUME in my collection. She really is the gold standard. I have now worn it for a full day, and only sprayed on the main points of my body, and holy moly she really is quite powerful. Additionally, It didnt smell fruity when i wrote the earlier review, but now, i will say it smells like an expensive high quality fruity fragrance, but slowly throughout the day just changed into this very rich rose smell. I usually hate rose scents, but dude this one is making me reconsider.

The most delicious raspberry fragrance! Doesn't it smell soo good? 🤤 This beautiful bottle was one of my first perfumes when I started my collection. My mother loved it, and so did I! I couldn't resist buying it. This fragrance is mainly fruity, a little bit sweet, very girly and a bit intense. In my opinion, it's perfect for autumn and winter. The most predominant note in this perfume is raspberry, which I can smell throughout the day. It opens with a blend of lychee that makes it sparkling, and then it becomes sweeter. It is youthful and playful, and you can also perceive it as a little bit sexy 😏😉🥰 The longevity is very good! If, like me, you did not like Angel EDP, this is probably for you, because it is very different from the original. If you like fruity scents, in my opinion, this is one of the best!

Angel Nova by Mugler is pure summer in a bottle! 🍓🌹✨ This is hands down my most complimented perfume out of my entire collection. The opening is bursting with juicy, fruity sweetness that instantly puts me in a good mood. As it develops, the most gorgeous jammy rose appears – rich, vibrant, and absolutely addictive. What I love most is how unique it smells. It's fruity without being childish, sweet without being sickly, and the rose is modern rather than old-fashioned. Every time I wear it, someone asks what perfume I'm wearing! The longevity is fantastic, and it leaves the most beautiful scent trail. If you love fruity florals and want a fragrance that feels feminine, fun, and confident, Angel Nova is a must-try. Divine, uplifting, and impossible not to love. A true 10/10 fragrance for me! 💕

At first, you get a delicious, cheerful, slightly sharp raspberry scent. The juicy scent of lychee also comes through at first. It also smells very tropical on my skin. I don't usually like tropical scents, but this one is really nice. The moment I smell it, I think of summer, pineapple, mango, and bright pink. I can't say anything about its longevity yet. My package arrived yesterday, and I haven't had a chance to test it. I guess I'll have to wait until summer/spring. I think its sillage is good. I sprayed 4 pumps on me, and now my room smells a little angel nova. If you like La Nuit Trésor 2019, I’d say give this one a try for summer! I’d describe it as a tropical, cheerful blend of raspberry, lychee, rose, and light woody notes.

This is my favorite perfume. I sometimes struggle picking a different perfume to wear in the summertime because I'm so obsessed. It is so pretty. It is the perfect balance between woody and sweet. It smells very feminine, but not girly, but yet you feel youthful at the same time. I smell a good balance of all the notes within the fragrance. The perfume is very strong, the fruits combined with the woods, makes the sweetness amplified, but you just can't stop smelling yourself; it's like an addiction. It's a perfume that's not for everybody, but if it's for you, you will love it. And also, I get so many compliments on this perfume, especially by men, because it is known that men gravitate towards sweeter smells on women.

This was a recent blind buy. I purchased a travel sized bottle. I like it! It is pretty fresh smelling. Definitely picking up a lot of the raspberry note, with a bit of a soapy powdery smell. I agree with others saying it doesn't resemble Angel. I do not get any of the original Angel DNA in this. It is a nice scent for spring and summer. I will use up the travel sized bottle and then make a decision on whether I want a larger bottle of it. Right now, I don't think I love it enough to buy a big bottle though. Edit: I have worn this for a few days now and it has really grown on me even more. I LOVE it now and I think I am definitely getting a bigger bottle. It is very sexy and feminine! Hubby loves it too!

I've been searching for a new signature scent for myself and this is it! Such a nice sweet/floral smell that's perfect for the spring/summer time. I'm not sure if i'm smelling much of the litchi but definitely a lot of the raspberry mixed with the rose note. It's pretty strong and has a great sillage so a little bit goes a long way. I've layered it with the eos pomegranate raspberry body spray and it's absolutely divine. My only gripe is the bottle, while it's very cute and unique, it's a bit annoying to not be able to set the bottle upright and it has no cap which is also a bit weird to me but other than that this is a 10/10 scent for me!

My favorite Angel flanker for spring and summer hands down! It’s sweet, juicy, and gives total raspberry slushy vibes.. a little tart, fizzy, bright, and suuuper juicy right off the top. Then it settles into a warm, slightly woody base with a whisper of smoke.. all while retaining most of that juicy brightness from the opening throughout the wear. Imagine someone tossed that theoretical slushy onto a campfire to put it out and you’re catching whiffs of the steam in the air. Absolutely addictive. The rose can be more present sometimes than not, but when it stays soft and subtle, this becomes one of my favorite Angels period!

I love the original Angel & have tried several flankers. Although nothing like the original Angel l am probably recognised by this fragrance in a busy room! I have probably purchased 400-500ml of this as l love it that much. I am very partial to rose fragrances & this is no exception. The fruity top notes soon disappear on me but it is pleasant from start to finish. I have even had strangers ask me what it is & more than one person has purchased it after smelling it on me. I don't think anyone could dislike this tbh!! I do however think it has been reformulated & I don't love it quite as much. Back to Womanity for me!!

This is disgustingly good, I got it this week as a 21st birthday gift (woohoo!) and it is just incredible in the July heat - it's juicy, fruity, rich and sparkling, carried by a delicious woody-sweet base. It lasted a whole night out and could smell it on me the next morning until I showered which is super impressive. The performance on this one is insane, it projects like crazy and seems to develop really well with sweat. I am so happy with this and it's definitely going to be in my summer rotation! The bottle is sooooo cute too, I adore the hot pink - such a girly girl glam y2k vibe I love <3

Deeply disappointing that they’ve decided to reformulate this fragrance and make it weaker and more generic. They could’ve implemented the EDP Fruitee without completely discontinuing the original, so people could pick whether they wanted to purchase the weaker or the more potent version. I love strong fragrances and have a little bit left of the original EDP, but this ensures I will never re-purchase the new version because it’s the exact same price for poor quality. I will never understand why brands do this, it’s literally illogical. At least give people both options to choose from
