Angel Secret Star

This is in response to 'sexyJasmine's question... I was wondering the same thing for a long time as well until I came across a really helpful site that has most of Thierry muglers fragrances listed, in order, by year. Winter star was first introduced according to this site, in 2000.... as extrait de parfum and then again in 2010. The extrait de parfum is a delightfully stronger version of either the ACTUAL ORIGINAL from 1992 or the reformulation that came after it. (The angel we have come to know today has been reformulated quite a few times throughout the years and Is a lot different than it used to be. It's much weaker as well) The one that brought us to this page is the secret star from 2014 I believe. It's the same bottle as the winter star from 2000 and 2010 (with the addition of Swarovski crystals at the bottom) however, in 2014 it contained eau de parfum. (Not extrait de parfum) I know, it's a bit confusing. I'm literally in love with the fragrances Thierry mugler has put out for the world. I rarely buy the new angel anymore. I constantly browse ebay, Mercari, Poshmark and Etsy to keep an eye out for the older versions, with limited ingredients . It blows my mind that some of the bottles I've purchased even though a decade or more old and the juice inside has turned into a nasty ass shade of something gross looking, the fragrance has held up impressively enough. I have received a few duds before but that's the risk I take for purposely choosing the original version !! Gone are the days one spray of angel was literally all you needed and it lasted well into the next DAY OR LONGER. And the composition was gorgeous. I so miss it. I've even researched trying to make it myself. I might end up trying it out eventually 🤦🏿♂️🙍🤷🤣

But wait...isn't this the same bottle design as TMs Angel Winter Star? OK, so the 1992 bottle doesn't have the Swarovski crystal but the bottle design is almost identical. What's new here? It's the same Angel fragrance and a bottle from last dacade with a little extra crystal thrown in for good measure. Is Mugler running out of ideas? I would love to see him come out with a totally new fragrance, not a flanker from one of his previous creations, not one of his previous creations thrown in a new bottle but something totally new and different. I was a big fan of Mugler at one point but he's loosing me to some of the other perfumers that keep coming up with new fragrances.

I have read that only 500 copies of this bottle were made for the US only? Then I saw a bottle that says its #1101 of 500? , price at mugler.com website has dropped to $180. Does anyone have the certificate of authenticity of this bottle to confirm these numbers? thanks.
