Aura Mugler Eau de Toilette

This is a review coming from someone who generally does not like Mugler fragrances. Don't shoot me! I do think this house is brilliant, has always been ahead of the curve; and influenced a lot of current favourites. Angel is probably the grand daddy of sweet vanillic perfumes taking over the market. My chemistry and nose just don't jive with most Mugler scents. But! BUT! I really love Aura EDT. I originally got this because as I said, I respect Mugler and really want to see if I can find something that works for me. This is right up my alley. Fresh, green, white florals, with base notes that are not too dark and woody. The fruits stay throughout wear, with the rhubarb and citrus providing a nice juicy tartness. I can detect a hint of jasmine and definitely the green notes. I also get a very distinct clean cinnamon, not sure where that's coming from or it's just not noted. The base notes are not distinct, but helps add sweetness and a powdery clean feel. It's not basic and has notes that you don't usually see together. You can really tell it's Mugler's twist on a fresh fruity fragrance. He got the assignment right. If you usually lean towards Calvin Klein over Mugler, this may be one for you.

This is definitely an 'easier' companion to the EDP - the pear note is very noticeable at the start, I do still get the medicinal/root-beer note, but it's much less prominent compared to the clear fruitiness. After trying the EDP in a store and being really impressed by how persistently it lasts I was somewhat disappointed to find it wears down in a few hours, but it's still very distinctive and worthwhile in its way. Definitely suited to the summer and humidity, just like the EDP - what pushed me to buy it for myself was the heavy heatwave we've been experiencing in the UK this summer, weather that I didn't own any scent to compete with. Both this one and its more assertive, bold sister are very well-suited to Mugler as a brand, just like Alien: strange, but clearly sexy. This one's definitely still got the kookiness, but it's understated enough to be suitable for a lot of time on sweaty tubes and in the office while still really coming into its own outdoors in a heatwave.

Like almost everyone here has said—this is a fresher, fruitier, and more candy-like interpretation of Aura EDP. By all accounts, I should feel as though Aura EDT is the easier-to-wear Aura. Somehow, though, I almost wonder if this one is weirder than the original? I could feel that way because I’ve gotten used to the original (and maybe I just haven’t gotten used to this one yet, and once I do, it will seem unremarkable next to the original). Regardless, Mugler has added a sour-candy smell to what is already a strange green-vanilla fragrance, and I love it. It’s so so so weird, just as Aura EDP is. But if Aura EDP is a fierce goddess, I’d say Aura EDT is a delicate dryad. I cannot wait to wear it in the spring and summer! If you’re a fan of the original EDP, try this. If you’re not a fan of the original EDP, still try this. If you’ve never smelled any of the Auras, I highly recommend you do, if only to appreciate what works of art they are!

EDT version is very energising and fresh. It feels good. Sometimes I can smell some of the juicy, delicious pear. Sometimes it's just greenery, citruses and freshness. As usual, longevity and projection is a bit worse than EDP, but it's still pretty OK on my skin. I love the original Aura EDP as well. I have made an observation (which might be just a coincidence). When I wear EDP by itself I never get compliments. Lately I decided to mix EDT and EDP together, for EDT by itself is more summery/spring than autumn. I scored 3 compliments from seats around me during one hour lecture. I guess I found my new go to combo, for they compliment each other very nicely. EDT makes EDP less sweet, less heavy, while EDP kind of calms and dillutes the raw green freshness of the EDT as well as makes it last longer. The flacon is paler/more transparent shade of green. Mersmerising to watch.

I fell in love with Aura in Europe, when I tested the perfume in a perfume shop. I kept on sniffing my wrist for the whole day, admiring how unique the scent was, so amazed by the projection and the sillage. Still, I didn’t want to commit to such an important scent and few days after, I started by buying the scented lotion. Dark green, animalic, enigmatic, mystic and cozy: I felt the perfume was made for me, I felt like I found the one. I was puzzled because I was in love with such a strange perfume, a perfume that made me feel uncomfortable for its uniqueness and made me feel cozy at the same time, because I recognized it as a familiar scent. I researched online and found out that it’s a kind of perfume that you either love or hate. I will always love it. I now own the EDP and EDT, in their beautiful green heart shaped bottles that seem to perfectly match the scent.

This is just gorgeous!! Aura EDT was a blind buy, but I love Sensuelle and the EDP so I knew this was a no-brainer for me. I'm so happy with it! To me, Aura EDP is like a forest in the fall, with a thick bed of wet and decaying leaves giving that earthy pungent aroma. On the other hand, Aura EDT is like a meadow in the spring, blooming with wildflowers and bright green grass, warm from the afternoon sun. The word that comes to mind when I smell this is BRIGHT. It is the brighter version of Aura, while Sensuelle is the sweeter version. Slightly fruity, slightly floral, green in a mossy way versus a leafy way. It's not airy like some 'green' fragrances, there is still some body here to keep with the Aura DNA. All in all, if you appreciate the Aura line this will be a great addition to your collection. The spring/summer Aura!

On my skin, Aura is a total chameleon. Every time I sniff my wrist, I detect a different note. First I smell rhubarb, then green grassy florals like a garden after the rain. There's something minty in the background, which is interesting..it reminds me of the mint leaf my mom used to grow, it smells natural not synthetic. The musky base notes smell sweet to me, which somehow blends perfectly with the sour rhubarb. So sweet, sour, grassy and minty all within the first 15 minutes. Finally it settles down into a green floral. If you enjoy unique perfume, give this one a sniff, it's so multi faceted, you might really love it! I would not recommend it for a blind buy... even though I blind bought mine! I got lucky, I think she's a goddess wrapped in green vines and flowers and just the kind of thing I love.

Aura is my favorite perfume, but when it comes to the scent itself, I find the eau de toilette even better than the original. They're very close, but the EdT is less loud, less sweet and has a wonderful fresh fruity note that must be the pear. It's young, very happy and energetic. It's softer and a bit more consensual, enough to be easier to wear around other people. It's also much more migraine-friendly than the EdP. The only downsides : the non-refillable bottle and the pretty short longevity, about 4 hours compared to a whole day with Aura EdP. But these two complete each other nicely : the EdT's freshness is perfect on Spring and Summer days, whereas the intense sweetness of the EdP shines on Fall and Winter nights. I own both.

Absolutely love this! Especially for transition weather. Very successful blind buy. The original Aura is a bit harder on the senses I would say. I have been loving the scent of Palmolive Milk and Olive shower gel and wondering which perfume smells like it - and this one does! Elated when I discovered that. At least more than any other perfume I've worn. Powdery, clean and green is what I would describe it as. In the same vain as Springtime in the park, Eternity Moment and Marc Jacobs Perfect I would say, but its sweeter or more candy like than the first two and slightly more green and animalic than all of them. The comment that says this smells like Palmolive (such a nice story btw) - you’re so right. I’m kind of shocked at how much Palmolive I got when I first sprayed it, a warm fluffy sudsy blast. The drydown is musky and super sweet, but with a hint of bitter herbs. Maybe it’s the power of suggestion with the green bottle, maybe it reminds me a little of Rave hair gel, but overall the smell makes me think of J Lo’s Waiting For Tonight video with the gold body glitter, green lasers, and sweaty dancers in low rise jeans. I think this is a great fragrance for a summer night out with friends, getting blisters in cute new sandals.

I love this EDT. Been testing it for a couple of days. If you like pear scents then you might like this. But it’s not candy like, it’s fresh. Also if you like green scents like Lauren for women from the 80s or Kate spade truly gracious, I think you would also enjoy this. The feedback I got when wearing it was that it’s not good for my workplace, LOL, people said it’s more like a date night fragrance. So it’s still strong for an EDT. I got about 8 hrs out of it with medium sillage. I recommend at least spritzing a little on next time you are near the perfume counter and then see what you think.

Wow, if ure a lover of green fresh scents, ull have a good time sniffing ur arm for hours. Its like mystical waterfalls and flowers. Suits the ad well. I love it, its light, green with the right amount of sweetness. An evening time scent very calming. Escapes the typical crowd pleasing heavy sweet girly perfumes I usually get from the high end designers. It soon starts reminding me of Bath & Body Works Sweet Pea perfume, both contain pear, but this is hella better with more depth and more sweetness. The bottle is gorgeous, looks like a diamond ud extract from a freshwater cave. ill buy it

This smells nothing initially to me like the EDP. Instead on my skin it starts as a glorious burst of lily of the valley and lilacs (yes, I know they aren't in there but that's what it does on me), eventually shifting to a lovely and serene pear with other fruits and gorgeous iris - and dries down to that old yummy vanilla and woods - ah... there's the original peeking out! But the longevity is not as good as the EDP. I didn't try enough to tell about the silage. Perhaps that's why it disappeared about 8 hours later.

I dont know why this isn't rated higher, this scent is beautiful! Yes, it's a green scent but it still has a sweet side that's really pretty and makes it so wearable. I'm so sad it's discontinued and will be on the lookout for the EDP to add to my collection if i still can. The pear brings a light sweetness and the rhubarb adds to the fruity tones without being overly fruit bowl-esque This is great for the spring/summer and would highly recommend grabbing a bottle if you can find it.

I own this now and have to say it is in my top 3 favourites of all time. Wow, talk about unique which is what I love. I highly recommend wearing this in spring when it's raining because for some reason the scent transforms on wet skin. I think Mugler wears really well on my skin because I always get compliments when I wear this. It smells like vanilla bean, fresh grass, rhubarb leaves and spearmint, sounds weird but it's absolutely luscious.

Accidentally bought this when I meant to buy the EDP but no worries at all because oh wow this is pretty - reaffirms rhubarb as one of my all time favourite notes. Enough green intrigue in the opening to set it apart but the sweet middle and heart is gorgeous. Such a happy accident for me as I think I actually like it more than the EDP. Sillage and longevity both sitting around a 7/10

I loooove this scent... I could wear it all the time... I did... my bottle is empty and it's not in production anymore :-(. I had not seen the comments about palmolive and now... all I smell is that haha. At first yes it does smell like that but the sillage is just great. You can really smell the rhubarb... the green fruit... it's fresh, tangy... very green.

Aura Eau de Toilette has the same beautiful, eerie opening as the Eau de Parfum. Just less. Not in gorgeousness, but intensity. Once it dries down is wear the beauty lies, with a creamy vanilla and gardenia with sweet ambrette to hold it up. It is stunning and I'm shocked to see the hatred for it. Just as bizzare as one would hope from a Mugler. Good going!

This is my new signature scent. Blind buy from Winners that made me really nervous but OMG, it's how a lush green rainforest jungle goddess would smell. Jmama26 is right, it literally brings you to another place, it's so nice. I got compliments from a 20 year old , 50 year old, and a 60 year old, so so far it is a crowd pleaser among all ages.

Aura EDT is a sweet, fruity, definately sugary-green scent to me. Has the unique DNA of Aura edp, but is much more easy to wear for me. This is mainly a spring and summer scent, but can be enjoyed all year around. Lasting power and projection are very moderate in the cold, dry weather. Maybe it changes a little, when it gets warmer. I hope so.

Did not expect to love this one, but I fell in love immediately. I find this to be a super sexy fragrance. The pear is refreshing, but then you get a little sharpness from the rhubarb meshed with the jasmine, vanilla, & powdery orris. There's just something special here for me.

I find it strange that Tiger Liana is named specifically in the marketing as being the heart of this perfume, yet isn't listed in the note pyramid. It's a captive ingredient, but other captive ingredients are listed on this site (Orcanox comes to mind.)

Stunning. Perfect strawberry perfume. Finally a rhubarb mixed right. Heavily unique. Almost has a medicinal quality then at the some note turns sweet and sickly fruity. Beautiful composition. 10/10!

Less dense than the edp, this is easier to wear and has more breathing room. Not recommended for blind buying. Aura is weird like Cacharel Eden and should be approached with respectful caution 💚🌿

@Lalilo1212 Yes, it's getting discontinued now. It's also gone from most stores in my area. I've also heard rumors that the EDP is getting discontinued too, but can't confirm yet.

Love the original but this is a lot fresher and definitely better as a signature, year-round scent but I love it the most for summer nights

This is probably the most “outside of my taste” scent in my collection - I scooped it up off a dusty shelf in Chemist Warehouse as I knew it had been discontinued, I can’t test a lot of perfumes where I am so blind buy a lot and figured I didn’t have much to loose. This is very different to what I’m normally use to wearing - it changes every time I wear it ! Sometimes it opens as as lemon sorbet. It’s creamy, somewhat icy with a nice citrus twist, it then forms into a rhubarb, pear and citrus milkshake with a medicinal almost menthol thread through it - very interesting and I can’t stop sniffing it - has a calming property and one of the only perfumes I enjoy wearing while sick. Other occasions I’ve worn it it starts off medicinal, almost like tiger balm but raspberry flavoured? Idk with a very green sharpness - here I see where the Palmolive compassions come in. It’s dried down to something meditative, green, citrusy and still medical. Quite calming and still tolerable but I much prefer the above. I’ve noticed this result shows up more in dryer weather. It doesn’t last the longest or is the strongest projector - sits on top of clothes like a light laundry liquid scent and on skin very lightly - it lasts maybe 2-3 hours before I notice it’s disappeared however it is an EDT. It gives me a very vivid visual of when I use to wash dishes at my asian grandmothers house. The sink overlooked her back garden which had grape fruit, lemon and nashi pear trees. Random flowers she brought at the super market surrounded my well kept - but dry Australian grass. I can smell the tiger balm that permeated the house permanently and the Palmolive dish soap,, along with the smell of my grandmothers beauty products and the rubber gloves she made me wear to wash the dishes - she only had the green Palmolive soap too. It’s interesting, and probably a lot of others cup of tea but not completely mine - that being said I don’t hate it at all and if I ever get the chance would love to try the EDP. There are so many discontinued TM gems I would love to try that look much more interesting ( this one is still very interesting to me!) and hopefully I can run into more. ~ collecting insects - lemon aid icy poles - transition from spring to summer - light knitted sweaters and cardigans - healing - fairy garden - swamp witch - toadstool furniture - grungey cottage core ~

I am one of those people who experience the EDP as mentholated, minty listerine in the opening, rather than the intended 'strawberry milkshake.' However, I still grew to love it, because it reminded me of a very cold, mossy waterfall in the forest. I found it very refreshing for hot humid days. And the dry down was always a very pleasant, woody, green vanilla that reminded me of laying on warm grass after a long day of hiking. If you are also one of those people that found the EDP too 'minty,' you might find the EDT a tad more approachable, or at least, a little truer to the fruity milkshake intentions. There is still a tiny bit of that mentholated feeling, but it's almost reading more as a bubble gum flavor. This is sweeter, and more candied than the EDP- I would almost think there is tuberose in here... It can border on a 'sickly sweet' fermented smell. Think of passion flowers, or a watermelon rind. It almost reminds me of NEST Passiflora in that way... It's also more acidic than the EDP. I think the fact that they added an actual strawberry note, and ramped up the citruses, makes it more "tart" and it comes off more juicy and it offsets the menthol. It is still predominately GREEN! Just not in the aquatic / petrichor / soil way that you are probably used to experiencing with the usual 'green' freshies. It's a "fun" and "weird" green in the beginning. But I bet by the time you leave your home and meet up to do whatever it is you have planned- other people will just get pleasant whiffs of something green, sweet and woody. The fragrance lasts a lot longer on clothes. So if longevity is your major complaint, try spritzing your shirt instead of skin.

If I never tried the original Aura, I might have fallen in love with this. It's quite close to the EDP, but with less oomph and additional fruity floral notes. This EDT is still quite green and leafy with an intoxicating gourmand note that reminds me of woodruff, just like its big sister. But due to the pear it also has a transparent fruitiness that makes it feel more airy. I like to wear Aura EDP in the warmer months, but people who find it too heavy for summer (or too heavy in general) might enjoy this version more. It has a sweet vanilla base, but not nearly as much of it as the pillar. The drydown actually feels more floral-creamy than dessert-creamy to me. I also really notice and enjoy the hibiscus note. Together with the rhubarb it gives me a refreshing red floral vibe, almost a little rosy, which works great against the greenness of the rest of the scent. I'm not sure if I ever smelled a hibiscus flower that had much of a scent, and I'm pretty sure I haven't seen a hibiscus seed in my life, but I recognize the scent from hibiscus tea. Out of the two flankers, Aura Eau Sensuelle is the soft, blurred version of Aura, while the EDT is the refreshing, lively take on it that has more of it's own character. I like both, but if I had to chose one, I would definitely always pick the EDT. The original is still my favorite though. I understand that it can be polarizing and won't work for everyone, and for those I wholeheartedly recommend this EDT.

I had a bit of a dilemma going on with the Aura EDP which is a lot more potent, dense and has that toe curling medical note to it (yes, I'm a sicko, I love herbal medicine or just medicated scents in general). However, the EDP turned too grossly sweet on my skin, and that was beyond what I was able to tolerate so went with the EDT instead. It's definitely airier, fresher, less dense and could serve as a something to ease you into the EDP if its potency is a problem. I can still smell the medicine and a bit of pear (sometimes reminds me a bit of an apple), the EDT is nice, fresh and green but alas, the powdery musk drydown is a huge, huge dud on my skin. I feel like the top and middle notes fall apart much too quick and leave you with a pretty unexciting base so a reapplication could be recommended. Aura EDT could make a nice uber hot summer freshie but much like Gabrielle Essence, there's a slight improvement to the top notes at the expense of the base. As a result, I haven't reached out for my Aura EDT much which is a shame because I do still like the scent. Silage is alright - pretty strong after the initial application. Longevity though... That one is problematic as I wasn't able to smell much from my clothes (except for the gross musky drydown) a few hours later. Hopefully I can try again with the EDP.

This is interesting and different. It opens very green and fresh but dewy, like freshly cut grass after the rain. It's fresh but not that 'zingy', it instead has a dewy, rounded quality. I swear I can smell rhubarb in there too, but apparently that's just me. It quickly transitions to equal parts green and fruity-floral (the pear?) but then a weird undertone creeps into the greenness. While in the opening it's freshly, cut grass it now has a slightly bitter and almost medicinal quality shimmering through. It would be perfect if it didn't have that. The vanilla isn't something I really pick up on, I guess it just gives the fragrance some extra smoothness or 'roundness'. Average longevity and silage, but interesting and innovative fragrance. Wouldn't buy but enjoyed my sample nonetheless. UPDATE: So this keeps getting more intriguing. It seems to have three distinct phases during which it takes on three distinctive personae! The opening is intensely green (fresh cut grass), then it becomes fruity for a few hours, and the end phase is actually floral! Mugler sure has a knack for concocting sui generis perfumes...between Womanity, this, Alien and A*Men I can say his perfumes don't lack originality.

I prefer this iteration of AURA to the EDP, which I have also reviewed. To me, this is the scent of Springtime and fairies, sophisticated fairies, if such a thing exists. Minty, dewy, vanillic, a bit green and tropical, with a dash of something mysterious and futuristic....AURA EDT somehow is translucent yet substantial, a fragrance for all seasons, it is sparkling yet not juvenile. I also enjoy the more round, less pointy bottle here more than that of the EDP, the lighter green glass of the EDT bottle allows all of the facets of the bottle to catch the light and resemble a precious object. So perfectly Mugler! A smoother and more elevated version of the original EDP, one has to wonder if this AURA EDT with its perfected qualities, released in EDP concentration, in place of the 2017 original would have allowed this line to flourish. I believe if Mugler had started here, with Olivier Cresp (or perhaps any one of the five talented Perfumers who developed the original), with the attractive bottle, we'd be on the fifth flanker from AURA by now. I believe we would. Highly recommend AURA EDT, ethereal, sweet, yet clean and memorable.

It ́s a very strange scent,and a lot more fresher than the EDP.It ́s still has the medical note but only in the beginning. When I frist tried it it was like the edp,exactly like the edp.After a several wearing and testing I have to say that it ́s a lot more lighter,fresher and a weaker version. The opening is still very green but the pear makes it a little bit fruitier,but it ́s not a juicy pear,it ́s like a green,unripe pear-not sweet at all.A minute later it ́s start to have a strange aldehyde note mixed with the vanilla and green notes.Thanks God this dissapear and start to have a very lovely fruity-vanilla green,harsh scent which is more tender,light and sweet. The dry down is a plain vanilla scent mixed with the orris which gives a powdery vibe to it,and it ́s like other sweet perfume just much more lighter which means that the longevity on me is very bad,sadly because I love the dry down. Overall I like the scent and I will keep it just because the bottle and because I need something strange scent in my collection,something Mugler. I think it will be good for spring and fall and for a colder summer nights.

I blind bought this edt at a TJ Maxx in 2023, and initially I absolutely hated it. The opening for me both then and now is extremely bitter and strong, almost like the ancient aldehyde notes in my grandmother's perfumes from the 60s. So, it's sat in a box in the back of my closet ever since. I pulled it out today because I heard someone mention this when talking about rhubarb scents. I did one spritz on each arm, and at first I regretted it because it still had that loud, bitter opening--almost straight rubbing alchohol. Thankfully, that went away on skin when it dried down, and it struck me as powdery and floral, very feminine. It's been over four hours now, and if I press my nose to my arm there's delicious soft rhubarb and jasmine with a grounding green tea. It's inviting and playful but calm, just very close to the skin. I'm shocked that I like it so much given how much I cringe at the opening. I'll probably reach for this again over spring and summer, but I'll avoid wearing this on clothes just in case that opening note sticks around.

This is light, fresh, floral, clean. It’s definitely a jasmine scent with subtle hints of pear & bergamot. It’s reminiscent of the original Alien but lighter, fresher. I would say original Alien is your night out fragrance & Aura edt is daytime. It actually smells very similar to Alien Flora Futura. I don’t smell any vanilla? Not in the initial spritz or drydown? Siliage & lasting power are weak which sucks considering the price tag. I sprayed some just before work & when I came home 6hrs later, I couldn’t smell it anymore. However, I also sprayed it on my house clothes in the morning & I can still smell it, very lightly. I’ll have to test & wear it more. Overall, I like. Btw, I’m keeping the bottle when the perfume is done because I love green & it looks so pretty/unique.

Wow this is so unusual. I love green fragrances...I tested the Aura EDP but did not like it. I read that the EDT is much more approachable than the EDP, so took a chance on a blind buy. And I'm so glad I did. It's really DIFFERENT and you won't smell like anyone else! I agree there is some weird synthetic clinical dentist office note in here, but it's MUCH less prominent in the EDT and I even kind of like it in combination with the other notes. To me this is more a spring/summer fragrance. It's really hard for me to pick out the notes in this one, so sorry if this review isn't more helpful. What a cool bottle! It's so heavy in the hands, it looks and feels luxurious. Edit: I smell some Alien DNA in here.

OMG whoever likened the scent of this to the original Palmolive soap! 😄 Growing up that was the ONLY dish soap my mother used, she refused to buy anything else so this perfume takes me back to my childhood... The opening smells like juicy pear (almost green apple) and tart citrus and a little bit of sweetness but then dries down to fresh, lush, green leaves after a rain shower. The green notes kind of have minty quality, not as strong as the Aura EDP, but still reminiscent. Dry down is musk + light vanilla. I find myself reaching for this versus Aura EDP more, especially in the daytime/spring/summer. The EDP is like the nighttime counterpart for me.

Upon first spray I get a unique smell, laced with vanilla. I can't really describe the unique smell other than to say it's just so different than anything else I own, which is saying a lot considering how many perfumes I have. When it dried down, I thought "rhubarb" and came on here to see that rhubarb was a scent note. I'm anxious to see how this wears when spring and summer get here. My daughter has the Aura EDP, and I remember it being unique as well. I'll have to have her bring hers over so we can compare them. I like that this version has a certain freshness to it, and I'm really digging the rhubarb that it finishes with on me.

I shockingly like this. Its not a love but it's growing on me. I'm really opening my nose to green and aquatic scents and I'm liking it. I'm more of a fruity floral and gourmound person but this has just enough sweetness to keep me interested along with a nice freshness. This is really good for layering summer fresh fragrances. I'm wearing this with D&G L'Imperatrice and it's a banger! So fruity but not overly sweet because the green comes in to tone it down. I find myself keep reaching for it. Plus it's different from the basic sweet berries and coconut scents for the summer. Try layers with this you won't regret it

Is this discontinued? I've been searching for it and I can't find it. I've seen it at Mugler website but Id rather spend a little less on this. Edit: I ended up getting my hands on this, and I've been trying it. I would say it's nothing groundbreaking. It's a good scent, but it's nothing that wows me. It doesn't have good performance, lasts about 2 hours on skin. I've been trying it in texas winter weather, maybe it will perform better in the summer. Edit 2: gotta say I'm really liking it now, it's got this tart fresh feel to it. And to be honest I haven't smelled anything like this on no one, which is a good thing

This fragrance captured me immediately. I compared it to the EDP but this EDT was the one for me. It's crisp and fruity, and also has a vanilla smoothness that lasts with the fruitiness. The EDP was much more floral, but I can't speak for what it is like hours after. The EDT I can smell lightly with nearly every breath, for a few hours before it becomes softer, but still lasts all day on skin and clothes. Great for fresh spring time or a winter day where the sun is still warm and im outside all day on a hike or picnic. In more humidity (summer) it doesn't work with my chemistry at all.

I had Aura edp but I didn't wear it much, I find it unique, but not so wearable for my taste...edt on the other hand isn't so weird, The pear note gives it freshness, it still has a short phase of that medicinal root note, but it disappears fast, and from then on , it is more a fresh vanilla scent, easy to wear, easy to Iike...now, edt isn't as unique as edp, for sure, but it is one I enjoy on a warm day...the vanilla is fresh and not the overly sweet kind, nicely done without being groundbreaking in my opinion.

Not a safe blind buy (but I did it anyway!). A weird, space age (but the 1980’s going to space every minute era, not the future) industrial cleaner with a hint of homeopathic medication that I’m picking up on the dry down. I cannot put my finger on what that medication smell is, but it’s so familiar. Touch of vanilla and fruit, but it’s that jasmine (I think), that is giving Aura a touch of Alien. Yet, I still think I like it! HA! There are some things you just can’t explain, and those are Muller’s perfumes.

I “accidentally” purchased this today. I meant to buy the EDP which I absolutely adore. When I sprayed it, my first reaction was “WTF?!?!” because I literally finished my bottle of EDP this morning. This does not initially remind me of the original in the slightest. It smells like a mojito mix concentrate, but the dry down is lovely. I can see myself wearing this and loving it during the Springtime, but not as we head into Winter. For that I only want the EDP or Alien OG. (Which I also used to loathe, btw.)

This reminds me of drinking a sparkly sweet soda pop with a bit of ice cream in it next to a fresh cut grassy lawn on a summer day. I love wearing this on super hot days! A little sweeter than I would like but it's refreshing; the green notes come out more on my skin and mellow out later on with a slight creaminess from the base notes which I enjoy. A nice fresh daytime scent that is a little different than your typical "clean" scent or fruity gourmand for the summer.

Since this one will be discontinued in 2020, it was heavily reduced in our local perfume shop and I grabbed a bottle for my collection... feeling lucky to have been able to hunt down this gorgeous vessel. As to the scent... well, is an acceptable mix of sour, tarty notes, very artificial, not as lush as the EdP. I don't really like it. On a scale between 1 and 10, I'd give it a 5. Too muddled and synthetic - and obviously a big fail as far as sales are concerned.
