Blow It Up

Blow It Up and (Heal Your Mind) are the latest in the Mugler Cologne line. Blow It Up, as with the entire line, have a soapy, fresh feel. The Vetiver, for me, comes across like fresh cut grass. You mix that with the fruity notes of black currant and it is like the opening of a summer day. Longevity is average and will require another application throughout the day. I would suggest to make sure to apply directly to your pulse points, as projection fades quickly. Overall, Blow It Up is a solid scent in this unisex collection.

This is a sweeter take on Mugler cologne. Judging by the color of the juice some may find this a bit feminine but I believe is a true unisex as it still retains the Mugler cologne DNA but sweeter without the heavy floral note that "take me out" have. The drydown smells clean, fresh, sweet and a bit powdery. The performance is just what you would expect from the cologne line, just average but is easy to overspray for additional performance. This could be a great spring fragrance just as the rest from the line.

Purchased after watching a YouTube video by A Gentlemen's Journey. Just arrived but seems decent quality for the money. £22 delivered for 100ml. Very bright fizzy and fruity sorbet fragrance for Spring / Summer high heat days. Definitely unisex but blokes can pull it off if they want.

I blind bought this cologne on Black Friday. It is a clean freshie with vetiver main note. It is not sweet at all. Ideal for spring or summer. Lasted 6 hours on my dry skin and projects first hour to 6 feet. Definitely unisex.

Fun, slightly fruity, more vetiver-y, generic but great for the summer and for dousing all over yourself. I wouldn't buy this unless it was on mega discount (which it was).

Smells like a fruity version of Chanel Biarritz, longevity is very weak though.

First impression — sweet fruit bubblegum shampoo for kids.

A soapy currant. The first minutes smell like an English soap, a bit outdated and mature in a clean/floral/musky way. The vetiver breaks the monotonous scent, it gets slightly interesting...but not too much. Afterwards and all the way to the drydown is just a little bit fruity, clean and dry. It’s a strange composition with very feminine notes and very masculine notes that in the end create a confusing scent that is neither one or the other but also not entirely unisex.

Vetiver and I might get along one day, but not today. The opening was fresh and juicy and very promising, but on my wrist it quickly morphed into a '90s aquatic masculine scent and it really clashes with my skin. I can't imagine smelling this masculine, I don't perceive it as unisex at all! This could probably be a nice refreshing summer scent on the right person.

Another by Mugler that has me intrigued. I wouldn't say it's the best from the house, not even close. But so many from Mugler are hard to describe which makes them interesting. Is it nice? Yes! Smells a lot like D&G Light Blue or Tiffany & Love for Her, which I am surprised nobody has mentioned. Is it something I would buy a bottle of? No, it lacks the "Wow! What the heck!?" effect I want from Mugler. That being said, it is not a linear scent. It is a perfectly unisex fragrance, it almost switches back and forth between smelling feminine and masculine to me. I get the bubblegum another person described. I also get the soapy, likwle a lemon hand soap. It's a bit outdated smelling as well. Hmm, like I said, Mugler is often hard to describe. Overall, this is a pretty hard skip as far as a full bottle would go. Longevity is extremely poor, and there are other perfumes that are so similar that there is no point to having both. Edit: Wore on a hotter day and the longevity is not as bad as it was the first time I wore it.

Kinda generic, sweet-fresh and a bit synthetic. Not unpleasant, but that’s about it. There are better ones in this category. Lasted about 3 hours. I didn’t get much vetiver. I love Mugler but this was a pass.

This is more masculine than feminine in my opinion. It smells like cheap cologne. I will have to pass.
