Starlicious Berry Licorice

an almost sour berry candy that dries into a hairspray/shampoo like scent. not bad but very juvenile. keep in mind these are also meant to be layered. each of the other two layer well with each other and all 3 of them together are a bit loud but they're good!

It smells like you're a child walking into a candy shop for the first time again. It's cute and creative, but I didn't test it on my skin because I was at work so I dont know how long it lasts for... 💀

I’m disappointed. I can’t smell licorice at all and that was the main reason I bought it.

These are soooooo underwhelming oh my god.. I’m a huge Mugler fan and these are genuinely not worth it imo. Will be returning

Red fruit bubble gum. For reasons that I'm not going to share here I went in a full wear of this, so here we are. It opens immediatly sweet, red fruits, '80s bubblegum feeling, sugary and joyful (also extremely chemical, as the already mentioned gums). At some point a liquorice note emerges (as the name may suggest at the smartest ones) and it is actually a good accord, probably built around star anise, that gives it a balsamic facet, plus some cumarine and methylcyclopentenolone and probably some vanillin too. Untill this accord stays the fragrance it is not bad, kinda like it even if it is not at all my style and taste, it has some bittersweetness while staying bright and playful. Unluckly the licorice accord fades out at a certain point (after one hour and half more or less on my skin) and all the fragrance sinks in a super sweet powdery musky thing that is totally ordinary, boring and flat. I can imagine a young girl rocking this, for me off course it's a total pass. Longevity is hard to judge, if you consider just the decent part of the fragrance it is two hours, considering also the cringe part it stays for about six hours if you resist to scrub. Sillage is ok.

Pros: It gets a point for originality since licorice isn't a heavily used note. Cons: This opens as a sweet bubble gum with non-distinguishable fruit scent. You think ok not bad but then...within 5-10 minutes it dried down to an odd fennel or celery on me. Definitely not licorice. I got straight up celery root. Very odd and thank god I'm only stuck with 10ml of this stuff. No thanks Mugler

This one has sadly the weakest in performance in already underwhelming line. It's so faint that I struggle to smell it at all. There are hints of sweet berries in the opening, and they could have made for a pleasant fragrance, but they disappear immediately. What's left is little more than a vague sweetness that never develops into anything. If the idea was a berry-forward body spray, even that falls short. Not very good.

Very light and bright. It has a strawberry bubblegum scent with some hints of liquorish which keep it a little more interesting. I will admit while I like it it’d be too juvenile for some or too simple.

Red berries & licorice? Yes please. I want a perfume that smells like a bag of twizzlers and I’m not going to feel bad about that.
