Hot Chestnut

I had the chance to test the perfume even though the bottle was fresh (without waiting for the resting process), and I found a composition that surprised me. Opening and Heart Notes: The moment I sprayed it, the smell that hit my nose was a clear and warm chestnut scent. But the real magic starts about an hour after the perfume settles on the skin. As the scent becomes lighter and opens up, a very dominant fig note comes on stage. This fig is not a short-term guest; it dominates the body of the composition and stays on my skin for a long time. Base Notes and Dry-Down: As the fig slowly pulls back, the character of the perfume changes. The smell I get here is definitely not annoying or dirty cigarette smoke; on the contrary, it is a very refined, sweet, and balsamic incense. Amber accompanies this smoky structure with light sweet vanilla touches and makes a warm finish. I could not smell the white flowers and sandalwood mentioned in the official notes; for me, the scent followed a more woody-gourmand and resinous line. Performance and Projection (Sillage): The longevity of the perfume surprised me. The scent I applied around 10:00 PM was still on my skin at 07:00 AM. Although the projection dropped to "skin scent" level in the morning, it continues to make itself felt in close contact. Pro Tip: To maximize performance, I used 'layering' with a moisturizing cream on one arm. The result was amazing; the projection was still noticeable in the area supported by the cream. For those who have performance issues on dry skin, with this method, the scent reaches the potential of a signature perfume.

Biri soğuk havanın meyvemsi karanlığı, diğeri sıcaklığın ta kendisi. Orta sahnede tütsü ve labdanum giriyor. Duman yükseliyor ama görüşü kapatmıyor. Muscent’in dili net: derinlik var ama karmaşa yok. Her nota hikâyeye hizmet ediyor, kimse rol çalmıyor. Finalde vanilya, amber, sandal ağacı ve misk sahneyi yavaşça kapatıyor. Alkış kopmuyor; ışıklar yavaşça sönüyor. Tatlı bir sessizlik kalıyor. Tende kalan, hafızaya yerleşen bir iz. Hot Chestnut, Muscent’in şunu çok iyi bildiğini gösteriyor: Bir kokuyu güçlü yapan şey bağırması değil, doğru yerde susması. Bu marka trend kovalamıyor. Atmosfer kuruyor. Karakter yazıyor. Soğuk havalar için tasarlanmış ama zamansız bir koku. Unisex çizgide, net ve kendinden emin. Reminds me by the fireplace, good quality

It opens with a very soft chestnut. Immediately after, you feel the woody and incense side of the perfume. But I smelled a nasal tirma black pepper in its dryness, which made me uncomfortable. By the fireplace lovers definitely look like it.
