Fly Me To The Oud

A lovely fragrance that I thought I already knew intimately but I have no idea which one that would be. I compared it to Montale's Intense Cafe but I find no link. I think it brings me to Close to Midnight by the same brand and perfumer. Sandalwood, moss, oud, caramel and patchouli stand out when I smell it at first. It smells layered. There is something of a classic vintage men's perfume in it. Definitely on my wish list.

Lovely scent, reminiscent of Intense Cafe and Oud Satin Mood. It feels very familiar and cozy. Not buying a full bottle as I have similar things but if you don't it would be a great scent to add to a collection!

This is a super cute brown sugar and oud done well. So lightweight and fluffy - cotton candy but with more depth and even with an edge. And it is far from silly, quite the contrary. It is caressing in a way. Warm. Surprising. Humanistic. I had a lot of fun spending a day in it. I love this brand. It is new to me yet I am wowed. Every scent they created is unique and perfect but a novelty of approach to the ingredients

To me this is a sweeter sister of More Sex by Charlotte Tilbury. They are like two sides of the same coin. If you like it but would prefer more woods and ambroxan, give Charlotte Tilbury a try.

Interesting, I really don't have the same reading as other people. For me, the top notes are peachy/sweet, with an almost dragibus-like taste/smell that I couldn't quite put into words, not sour but almost, super sweet either way, and that swallows up everything around it - moss primarily. Contrary to all the reviews, it doesn't take me on a journey where it's supposed to, and I don't get the jazz-like vibe that the fragrance is supposed to represent at all. This oud + patchouli feels a little synthetic, despite the quality of the materials, and it's not my favorite interpretation of this kind of note. For a set with such an interesting ambition, I would have loved to smell something a little more adventurous. The musk+sandalwood wakes up nicely afterward, and it's on the dry-down that I get the interesting aspect of the mix. However, we can really feel the Lorson signature: it's always delicate, and very well balanced, with materials that she uses like a maestro. Not a memorable experience on my side, but clearly a perfume that could appeal to fans of this type of composition.

The opening and first hour of this fragrance are other worldly. Just amazing. However, once that first hour or so are over the notes they stay are leather and Oud, and it just smells like a waft if stank.

Sweet and smoky-woody. I must say I thought I was wearing Baccarat rouge on the day I sampled this. Good lasting power.

Why this brand is not already hyped up as it should be??? In the sea of Oud perfumes, I found this one very very beautiful and so alluring, I just can not stop smelling my wrists. I sprayed this in a shop today and I'm not even exaggerating about 5 minutes later I got a compliment on this perfume! It took me 5 minutes with this beauty to get a smile on my face for a whole day! I love how still unique this feels even after sniffing tons of perfumes with oud, I think this is the pepper note that makes this perfume kind of sparkling and sharp at the beginning and creates this intrigue. I am not very fond of pepper notes but here I kind of get it, I kind of like it even. I feel this is the perfect unisex oud perfume, there is not a lot of sweetness, and it feels high class for sure, niche for sure. Even at first sniff, you can tell this ain't no cheap stuff. I like how sexy this is, but not too much as if you can still wear this without feeling like you overdone a bit, it's like sexy Parisienne oud :D Classy but effortlessly sexy, like it just has this sex appeal naturally. This is very nice! A bit sharp, a bit earthy but not damp, more like dry earth, wood for sure. No sweetness, but it is still so so so alluring! Not too overwhelming so it is truly easy to wear this perfume and not feel like you have overdone.

A beautiful composition of slightly spicy Oud with a touch of animalic leather. An interesting addition of brown sugar adds a perfect amount of a gourmand flavor. Makes me think of an old fashioned cocktail in a vintage jazz bar, soft music in the background, great company and smooth wear. Incredibly cozy, a great unisex fragrance. Highly recommend for fall winter vibes.
