I Belong To U

Looks like you can have parfums that delight from the start and show it all within 5 minutes and still love them. Since I am just starting the wear, I cannot say more about it but I am assaulted by beauty. Ylang - full of sunshine. Pink pepper in its hot, aromatic aspects. Balmy notes as a frame. Patchouli as counterbalance to the big flowers - rich in aroma, not too tamed - like in Angel classic. If you miss the opulent patchouli note as it was in Angel you should try this creation - I found it here in a slighly different company. I feel the creamy richness of gardenia, and the high voltage of tuberose. Both voluptuous. It's such an honest composition. The ingredients are so great that I already love the scent. And not the first one by this brand. Many hours later and it is still a sweet, delightful blend. Still distinctive and performing greatly.

Sexy, ambery and dark white flowers. A completely different approach to tuberose. Grown up and creamy... absolutely amazing.

Very surprised because compositions based on ylang-ylang and patchouli are really not my cup of tea. Here, it is rather a good surprise. I think it is very sweet while having a presence and a personality more defined than the others. This time, it is especially well balanced. The pink pepper is very very very light (I would say 5% of my perception on the top notes, the bouquet is completely taking over). Then, the tuberose-ylang accord gives birth to something very creamy, which makes you smile, like "I just dipped my nose in a huge bouquet of flowers" on a beautiful sunny day. I also think there is a little bitter green tea smell, Sencha type, which I really like in the big picture (although not present in the advertised notes). The gardenia is also adding a bit of a hazy edge to this, which is creaming up again afterward. To my nose, this is clearly not an amber-woody fragrance (the balm-patchouli aspect is really very light) but rather a very dense and thick bouquet of white flowers. I think this is my favorite of the collection (especially since I stopped wracking my brain around the connection between these compositions and music). The only thing that would keep me from wearing it is that synthetic something in the background, which tends to bother me (and which I've found in all the perfumes of the collection so far). Other than that, it's a nice achievement, not revolutionary but it does its job, and I imagine it's also very versatile.

A surprising tuberose. I sprayed this on and thought I had the wrong fragrance. The opening is ambery and smoky. About 20 mins in the tuberose starts coming out until it is present and candy sweet. The smoky base stays on and wearing the scent I catch alternating dark and sweet whiffs. Lasting power is good, at least 8h.

I’m pregnant so this one isn’t smelling too good right now. I’ve tried it a year ago and it was a creamy tangy tuberose . Now , it’s too sour and funky , I thought there was Oud because sometimes it smells like rotten wood to me. Yeah I need to revisit postpartum lol
