Sweet Botswana

Really stunning fragrance! Beautifully blended and unique too ! The scent profile is pretty unique to my nose

Someone feels very strongly about a perfume, even to the point of telling others how to smell it. ;) I'm loving fluffy, feminine perfumes. Sweet Botswana has a bright opening from the citrus but quickly goes creamy from the praline and fluffy from the vanilla musk. It's fun, light and enjoyable in a different way than Pink Sugar. Pink Sugar definitely isn't fluffy, it's very heavy, dense with that black licorice note. In fact, writing this review out really brought home how different PS and SB smell; PS reminds me of a sweet perfume from the grunge era, kind of edgy. Very likable in its own way. To me. But I can like two different perfumes at one time. :p

Elle’s Bells review of this fragrance is DISGUSTING. Hard stop. Some of you need to get a life. How narcissistic are you when you conclude that someone is lying when they like something you don’t. My god. I throw up in my mouth every time I read a review that ridiculous. Get over yourself.

Delicious!!! Reminded me of other fragrances but not one in particular. Haven’t tested longevity on my skin but at first sniff, this is perfect for any gourmand lover!! Actually, now that I’m sniffing it again, I get it: it reminds me Sorriso, Destin des Anges and Chocolate Citronique... even though those three are a blend of orange and chocolate and Sweet Botswana is not, they all share a sweet, juicy citrus on top and delicious sweet notes at the base with some florals adding a hint of creaminess in the mid (to MY NOSE, others might get something else but this is what MY nose smells!) Though they are in the same realm, I wouldn’t say they smell the same. I’d say they are cousins who have similar mannerisms but behave completely from one another!! Sweet Botswana is a gem and I’m glad a dear friend gifted me a huge sample... I’ll be buying a full bottle as soon as my sample runs out!

ETA: This is America and freedom of speech reigns supreme. So if my personal review triggered you that much, that's not my problem, you'll get over it and please move along. At least I gave a review 🙄 This is just Pink Sugar fragrance oil added to perfumer's alcohol and Abracadabra---You call it Sweet Botswana and charge $185 for a bottle--Outrageous!!! And shame on the more mature influencers hyping this dupe up. You all know good and damn well this is Aqualina's Pink Sugar, because you probably wore it too back in the day! Pink Sugar was my signature scent throughout my twenties, so I think I would know. SMH.....

It’s nice but I was hoping for more complexity. Sweet Botswana is pink sugar meets love don’t be shy but stronger. A safe blind buy if you’re into that type of fragrance but personally if I’m going that route I would choose Acqua e Zucchero Profumum Roma instead as it’s the smoothest blend, lasts longer and wears more airy which I prefer for this scent profile.

Honestly not everyone is aware what Pink Sugar is. Most fragrances are always similar to others. Also, perfume is subjective right? You don’t like it, don’t buy it. I live this fragrance. This sits is up there in my collection with my sweet beauties LDBS and Oriana.

I mostly get lemon cookies, probably from the Praline & lemon. It's sweet in the gourmand direction. I don't get much flower, and I would say it's a unisex scent, as it's more gourmand. what comes to my mind, is lemon cookies with sweetness, musk and vanilla

Beautiful fragrance- but yes ... it does have similarities to pink sugar , maybe a little stronger .. BUT.... the longevity ... HORRIBLE !! Pink sugar lasts longer than this.

Black owned and the fragrance notes are right up my alley 😍 I need to order a bottle ASAP!!!!
