Musk Al Arab

This was an early oil experience for me as I purchased a bunch of Nabeel oils after trying one for the first time and loved. What I learned, thanks to the forums, is that sometimes these oils aren't quite ripe. I originally had left a not so positive review of this oil, and am now re-writing it, as it has changed and improved quite a bit in about a month after arriving. Not sure of the chemistry at work there, but it's a reality. This is a fairly simple and linear composition. It's a decent sandalwood with a touch of musk. It performs like sandalwood, staying very close to the skin. It has a very warm, and slightly spicy and nutty aura, and this particular composition is dry. Many sandalwood fragrances are sweetened substantially. This one stays true to it's core element. The musk substantiates the warmth with a gentle powder. This is a very intimate perfume. On the skin it smells like enhanced skin, warm and creamy. It does not call out for attention, and would layer very well as a smooth base. Bottle is charming Update: Works well as a base for layering, you can throw super bright floral or fruity top notes over it and get some fantastic results. Layered it with an oil called Thrill and smelled a lot like Alien Musk Majestieux
