Nabeel by Nabeel

The bakhoor and room sprays of this scent are sooo good, especially for cheapies. The spray perfume is a bit strong, so it's best to spray away from the face I think. It's a lovely, spicy, soapy rose bomb! Nabeel seems like a one-hit-wonder to me. This scent is amazing! I love it in all of its available forms: bakhoor, mamoul, room spray, etc. But their other scents are very unimpressive and much cheaper smelling, to me. I’ll still be a customer of Nabeel’s though, as long as they have this one haha.

'Touch Me' is now called 'Nabeel'. I happen to adore this fragrance- an elegant floral-rose chypre in a retro '80's style, similar to Diva, Paloma Picasso, Animale Animale, and the like, but with a stronger base giving it more *ooompf*.

I really wanted the honey to come forward, but on my skin, the marigolds took complete charge and never let go. I'd rather have them in the background. The opening is screechy, and I had to exercise willpower not to jump in the shower. I gave it time, and the drydown was a blessed relief. The fragrance calmed down, but remained sharp and detergent-like. Because of the prominent marigolds/tagetes, the drydown is not rewarding enough to make the harsh opening worth sitting through, for me. I enjoy many, many eastern fragrances, including a couple by Nabeel. This isn't one of them.

This is the same formula as Nabeel - Touch Me The main player in this fragrance is rose, Top notes are teak wood, saffron and marigold; middle notes are resins, lily, rose and orris; base notes are amber, patchouli and agarwood (oud). It's a slightly feminine Rose Oud Bakhoor fragrance.

Rose Honey Saffron are the main player in this one; I can detect facets of the leather (likely from oud), but at least not too prominent on my skin. This is arabic fragrance in essence I feel - one that claims to be rose oud combo - Pretty much unisex, "soapy, some would call it".
