Une Touche de Naf Naf

I remember Une Touche de Naf Naf as a true gem ! I'm so sad, that I can't get this anywhere, it's always out of stock! However, I highly recommend this little gem of an EDT. I have such fond memories connected to Une touche de NafNaf, and I would really love to take a deep dive down memory lane again with this scent. As I remember it, it's very elegant and ladylike with a distinct depth. I remember my pre -chronic depressive mother, young and beautiful in her black floral summer dress, with her glowing silver earrings complementing her black hair, tan skin, shiny green eyes... and the lovely scent of Une touche de Naf Naf that accompanied her, whenever she was in the right mood for it. And that mood - and scent - was a blessing to be around. I was a child back then, and used to her many perfumes - a lot of them, I discovered later, a lot more high end than affordable NafNaf, but to me, they didn't smell as gloriously elegant as Une touche de Naf Naf EDT. I remember promising myself that I would be the kind of woman wearing this scent when I grew up. I still have a small, used-up bottle that my mother gave me, because she knew how much I adored the scent. I've kept it since childhood and I still have it, and though I now have a large collection of perfumes and fragrances myself, I still long for a full bottle of this beauty. I will keep on searching. EDIT / UPDATE: I found/bought this for 150 € online - And it's AMAZING. It smells so luxurious and lovely. (!!) It's exactly as I remembered - and I will treasure this jewel for as long as I possibly can.

It was my very first 'proper' perfume. It cost a lot (it must have been 15 years ago when i was a teen girl!) I fell in love with it...it felt sweet-oriental, it was just the right smell; I wasn't little girl anymore, but I wasn't a grown up girl either... It felt so great when my hair, scarf and jacket collar smelt with a bit of fruit... I adored it. Last year I wanted to get back to it and make friends again and I managed to find a 100ml bottle that I am still having - probably less than 20 ml has been used since then. I don't want to use it often as I am aware how rare it is nowadays...so hard to find! When I feel blue I put few drops on my skin and after few minutes the fragrance develops these lovely notes reminding me of a careless girl I once used to be :-) First love, first kiss... I truly love it!

I've had this mini in my collection for over 20 years and forgot what it was, and couldn't read the label on the bottom of the bottle. Thanks to Fragrantica I finally know what it is! It's a very pretty scent, a soft floral with quite a bit of citrus at the top, and a body of mainly lily of the valley, jasmine and iris with a gentle vanilla that works well in a supporting role rather than taking over the whole fragrance. It smells like some of the others from that era that I have, Bill Blass for women and Ted Lapidus Creation come to mind. This leans more towards warm than cool, and it's not spicy at all, just slightly warm-creamy with the vanilla and tonka bean but not sickeningly sweet. Very nice, I'm glad I rediscovered this and now have a name for it too!

My first mature perfume. I bought them when I was little girl. My friends were buying dolls and I wanted Naf Naf. This smell reminds me a beautiful woman in a long, black dress. It is summer evening and she goes to a ball. She is elegant and beautiful. This perfumes are pretty strong at the beginning, fruity but not sweet at all. Very distinguish. Amber, vanilla, bergamot and me, staring at the night sky on the balcony in post communist country, dreaming that I am this beautiful woman.

This is my first "designer's" perfume. My mother gave it to me for my prom. Since than this is my most favorite perfume. And I am very sorry that it is stopped from production and is very hard to be found. With this fragrance I always feel special, as in the night of my prom. Warm and feminine scent in а very cool vial with a special shape. To me Naf Naf always will be at the first place! I really love it!

This was one of my first scents back in the day. I had the empty bottle for many years but never found it again. I just had to log in here after having bought a Nivea lotion today with cherry blossom scent of all things that catapulted me back so hard to this , I had to share it and wonder if anyone else noticed. I wish they revive it in a modern version.

It was my first perfume, I was 15. Lots of time ago:) It was very nice, flowery and vanilla, I remember using it sparingly, to make it last longer. The love for vanilla still stays with me. Unfortunately, now you can only find it on ebay, but if it were more affordable, I would get it again. At least, to see if it brings out the same emotions.

ive been looking for this one for ages.. i just couldnt put a name on it and then it suddenly came to me. unforgettable smell.. i also wore this when i was in middle school. i think i'll order it on ebay

This was also my first perfume. My memory of it is so strong, I can almost smell it each time I look at this bottle - I've got a huge sentiment towards it. Even though now I am not too fond of vanilla or sweet scents, Une Touche paved the path for my future taste - I love jasmine and tonka bean, iris, bergamot, lily of the valley... I am very happy I got to experience such a wonderful scent and wear it for a long time... I had no idea Monica Bellucci was in the commercial - what a GREAT TV ad! This perfume might not be the most original in the world but I could pick it out from a crowd any second!

I must say this smells beautiful! It is sweet without being cloying and very delicate. To be honest on first impression I picked up on the Vanilla (probably the Tonka bean) the most. I also am very fond of the Iris note. It's very light and sweet, and when I was young I bought this as a gift for a person very dear to me. Because at that time, I felt it was the nicest thing I had come across! And because it suited her personality a lot! It's funny how we can relate a fragrance to a particular person. Light, sweet, fragrant, delicate and inoffensive. This one carries memories of nicer times.

@Regina Weaver I am also a Hungarian, and it was also my first perfume! (Well, a gift set of a deodorant spray and a shower gel, actually. Not a real perfume.) I got it when I was 12, and I had it throughout high-school, saving it for special occasions. To me it smelled clean, but sweet and classy, wearing it for a school-party just made me feel excited and feel like a grown-up. I would be really happy to repurchase it, just for the sake of nostalgy.

A romantic, elegant and flowery scent. It smells vintage, because there is no fruit apart from a tinge of citrus, and no patchouli. On my skin Une Touche changes a lot. Last time I wore it, it almost smelled like a Guerlain. Today, in warmer weather, I get iris, musk and orchid, and maybe a tinge of lily-of-the-valley. The vanilla and tonka beans are not strong on me. However, take this review with a grain of salt, because I am using an old deo spray as a perfume. Cannot judge strength or longevity thus. From my deo experience I can only recommend Une Touche de NafNaf. In Austria and Germany you can get the Eau de Toilette very cheaply, but it does not smell cheap at all.

I'm getting a lot of lily-of-the-valley in this one (sadly). I was hoping for more of a vanillic tonka orchid as opposed to LOTV-rose-iris, but that's life.

I gave this perfume to a school friend for her brithday when I was 15! I liked it quite enough to give it to a friend, while I loved Shalimar and the alikes, but I was a stick in the nudge at that time. Un touche de Naf Naf was a lovely floral mix with an ambery basenote. Very sophisticated for that age, now it seems like a naif perfume to me. My friend liked it so much that she pressed her mother to buy her a new bottle when she ran out! It actuallt smelled very beautiful on her. For me it's a memory scent symbol of my teeneage. I have never seen it on Italian shelves anymore since those years, but I know it is still sold in Germany and other countries of that aerea.

I got it more than 10 years ago and to start with I wasn't in love with this present of my b/f, besides, his choice was made on the base of his sister's perfume taste which didn't coincide with mine drastically (the more eccentic the better). When I put it on I had literally to pray for patience of those who were around me, saying smth like: In 20 min it is going to become much better, pls don't kill me now. My general memories are as follows: an unpleasant strong simple fragrance with claims to seem dark and mysterious. Not at all.

It brings me back good old memories because it was my very very first perfume at grammar school. It's been about 15 years now, but I can still remember what it smelt like. The sense of smell is our strongest memory releaser. :) I would definitely buy one for old time's sake if it was available again in Hungary.

I used to wear it when I was a teenager. It's an amber fragance quite sweet but not very long lasting. There was nothing special in it, very run-of-the-mill. The bottle was really funny though. It's no longer avaiable in shops and I have to say I don't miss it at all.

This one reminds me of my childhood, it was my first designer perfume. I was 10/11 years old when I received it from my cousin's girlfriend, which I very much admired.

One of my first perfumes, I must have been 13 years old or so. I remember it being juicy and comforting, I loved the unusual bottle design. Good olfactory memories.

This was my first fragrance, I think I was 11-12. My aunt used to send it from Germany. I was loving the fresh floral smell and the bottle design.
