Everlasting

Spoiler alert: this is an Everlasting scent not an everlasting scent. This beautiful honey scent is an abstract composition of Everlasting (Immortelle/Italian Everlasting - sweet honey hay) despite the absence of immortelle in the notes. Similar to the way that Escape CK for women is an abstract composition of cherry blossom without having cherry blossom in the notes.. This is a nice honey scent for those who like sweeter scents, which doesn't last forever despite the name, although the sillage/longevity are average to above average.. In the air I get something similar to Honey Marc Jacobs (fresh & floral honey) and the occasional whiff of hay. On the skin I pick up the beeswax and musk more. Great value. I will store this for a few weeks and see what happens. Update 03/23/24: This has aged nicely - the honey has gotten sweeter, and a grape-leaning jasmine is coming more forward with some near fruity tones. The animalic notes of the beeswax remind me of osmanthus and/or suede, and are blended in nicely. This is heavier, sweeter & fruitier than Honey Marc Jacobs. Fans of honey scents might like this. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

One of the best blind buys I've ever made. It's unfortunate that so many have had issues with this, but with my body chemistry this is the perfect sweet, honey, amber scent with a bit of rose. It blends together beautifully and on myself has 3 - 6 hour staying power. Everytime I wear this my partner tells me I smell delicious.

A bright, fruity sweetness that I can't get enough of. Wish it lasted a little longer, but it's so good to smell I don't mind just reapplying.

This is a sweet and floral scent. Most of the sweetness seems to comes from the jasmine, with only a little coming from the honey. It's not a heady honey/beeswax scent like Bee. It's not a sickeningly syrupy honey like Scandal. (I looove both those scents, btw!) The rose kind of reins in the sweetness level, although I could definitely see this perfume being too sweet for a lot of people. The most prominent note I smell, after about 10 minutes of wear, is musk. I would say it's more along the lines of a musk Prada would use than one from Narciso, and I find it borderline headache-y. (I wouldn't be surprised to discover there was a hefty dose of something like ambroxin in it; it's kinda got that underlying sense to it.) On me the sillage is quite big. Two sprays is too much scent cloud for my taste. Longevity is about 61⁄2 hours. Overall, great dumb-reach scent for people who don't mind sweeter scents, especially if you find it on the $20 shelf at Shoppers! :)

I bought this blind based on the notes and no regrets. Honey, woody and amber, I get all those. The rose is noticeable and beautiful. This is not going to be a typical scent you already have smelled before. That honey sweetness it opens with is dense and seems like it would be syrupy and thick, I thought like JPG Scandal, but it lightens as it dries down and it takes on an airy quality. Though it's not in the notes listed, I get a nuttiness as well. It's got sillage but it's not overwhelming. Summer and workplaces should be fine. Very nicely done, unique fragrance!

This is a very warm, sweet, sunny perfume. Very approachable in my opinion. It lasts very well on clothes. I don't think this will be for everyone, since I do find that it has a bit of a dense quality to it, but it's still very nice and worth trying if you like a warm floral honey scent. My experience wearing this is a little funny; I would spray it and wonder why it reminds me a bit of popcorn. I need to make this clear: This does NOT smell like actual popcorn, but it does smell warm and it does have a buttery "texture " to it, which reminds me of popcorn 🍿.

Everlasting is a sweet, honeyed white floral. I paid $20 for a 100 ml bottle, and I think it’s a steal. I was expecting a bland generic floral for that price but this has got some character as well as decent sillage and longevity on me. If someone told me this was over $100, I’d believe it. I’m a bit surprised to see the negative experiences others have had since this one smells so good to me. I suppose it’s true there is no such thing as a safe blind buy.

The bottle is beautiful and accurately represents the honey, beeswax and flower notes. I wish it had a greater longevity and sillage but this is a soft scent, nothing complex, just a nice and simple pleasant perfume, would make a gorgeous gift for some sweet girl who loves honey, jasmine and musk. It's a nice light perfume, I'm happy to have it in my collection.

I’m a novice, and it seems obvious, as this has rose oil listed as a top note but I hate rose. When I bought this at the store I bought it as it smelled sweet, fruity and light. It smells that way on my skin as well. I find this an uncomplicated, youthful, bright, fun scent.

This is an effortlessly soft and pretty honey and amber scent, with a touch of honeyed florals in the background. Sillage is intimate and performance is about 4-6 hours.

I bought this for 20$. Let me say that this is my first time buying a perfume with honey/beeswax notes, so my nose might not be as trained. With that said, I think that it smells a little bit generic. I can't detect any familiar notes except the faint base notes. The rose isn't as strong and overpowering, nor are the jasmine, I assume that it might be because of the honey/beeswax that isn't for me lol. I would give this a 7/10, not my fav, but it's a good perfume to wear if you don't know what to pick but want to smell good.

This is such a skin scent! It's maddening because it has longevity. Someone would literally have to press their nose to my skin to smell it. At the same time, it's captivating. Floral, first and foremost, then a bit or honey and amber.

If im completely honest it smells very melon-y. If you’ve ever tried honeydew melon it smells exactly like it. It doesnt last very long tho.

starting off i get a definite fruit note, kind of tropical, which isn't listed. then some honey and sandalwood come through. to me, this is quite sweet. i smell toffee and fruits, like a gourmand fruity body spray. i don't get any rose or amber here. i get a *slight* floral element that could be jasmine but it doesn't really smell like jasmine. i don't know if it's body chemistry but this one is just not working for me.

Smells like cheap shampoo at the dollar store. However, the bottle is to die for 😍💛💛💛

I picked this up for $19.99 at SDM today after reading the review below mine. Unfortunately this is a hard pass for me, it doesn’t work on my skin at all! Such a bummer! I don’t get any rose or amber but instead I am overwhelmed by a scent that I can only describe as “brand new box of crayons”, not even a nice bees wax and honey scent. I even tried topping it with a rose soliflore scent but that chemical waxiness is just so prominent. Hopefully this fragrance wears better for others but I think my bottle is headed for the garbage can!

Has a sappy chemical smell to it. I got it in a subscription for Ipsy and then sold it b/c it just didn't agree with me. It also has a slightly rancid sappy honey scent to it. It's gonna be a no for me.
