Cat Deluxe

I was 12 in 2006 when this scent came out and it was everything I wanted and more. I thought Cat Deluxe was top tier elegance, sophistication and luxury. I begged my parents to buy it and finally I got a gift set for Christmas. I treated every drop like gold. After using it up, I completely forgot about this perfume for many years. Last year, however, I noticed it's still available in every drugstore and felt an irresistible urge to buy one - so I did and fell in love all over again. I'm absolutely biased because it revived so many feelings and memories. It reminds me of innocence, hopes about life, dreaming about love and that unmistakable confidence of young teens feeling they own the world and they are soooo grown up. Trying to be more objective: Cat Deluxe is a very nice sweet floral scent. It's youthful but not juvenile - actually I think probably too mature for young teens. It has a fluffy pink sweetness without being gourmand, so it's kinda different from the mainstream sweet scents that are so popular nowadays. In my opinion CD is more of a day fragrance, maybe a bit too light for evenings, but I can imagine some can pull it off. It can be worn all year, also light enough to be wearable even on summer days. Longevity and sillage is moderate - it's more like an intimate skin scent that last about 4-6 hours (though I got compliments on it even after I stopped smelling it on myself so maybe it's just my nose). Besides these, Cat Deluxe was the only scent I could tolerate during the first trimester of my pregnancy. I constantly had terrible nausea for 14 weeks and every single scent bothered me. I even had to switch to unscented shower gel and body lotion. I was devastated that I couldn't use perfume, but this little gem saved me as it always smelled pleasant for my nose. I'm already on my third bottle since last year and I'm sure I will always have one at my shelf until it's sold. It's a shame that it's only available in 15 and 30 ml bottles, I'd love to buy 100 ml.

Okay, so this was the first perfume I ever truly fell in love with and never got tired of it. It’s so beautiful and subtle, very feminine and seductive, but also comforting and inviting, feels like it can calm my nerves whenever I smell it. Like a warm hug of everything nice. It’s truly unique. Naomi did a wonderful job with this one, I actually like almost all of her perfumes, but Cat Deluxe is in its own category. I stopped wearing it after I broke up with a boy that bought me this perfume because he knew it was my fave, so then it reminded me of him, and he was a real jerk to me regardless of his gift giving, lol. So I stopped wearing it. And then after many years I tried it once more in the store and I was like “damn, this smells absolutely beautiful, why would a stupid boy stop me from wearing this gorgeous scent?” How stupid of me. So I bought it and now it will never EVER leave my collection. It’s still the best. 🥰💕 oh, and I almost forgot to mention! It’s great for any occasion and any time/season of the year! 😉

This was my signature fragrance when at the club around 2010 for 3 years. Fruity sweet, powdery pepper, but fresh. Cat Deluxe was flirty and energizing. If you were a fan of this just like me, you likely also loved it because of the powdery, peppery, sweet flirty kick. Since Cat Deluxe is discontinued, I highly recommend two others. 1) Gabrielle from Chanel (the default one) as a 'step up dupe'. Gabrielle has that same peppery sweet and powdery feeling Cat Deluxe brings, but a bit more flowery and a lot more sophisticated* and less fruity. Still it's similarly flirty and energizing along with that feeling. And I also recommend Chanel Allure edp, since it also has that airy peach. This has been my signature scent after Cat Deluxe. 2) Angel Dust Fugazzi (with the black bottlecap). Because the cozyness and fuzzy reminds me of Cat Deluxe. You're welcome. :) * not that a cat deluxe wearer can't be sophisticated, but Gabrielle is classy sunsual without the electric oozing sensuality that cat deluxe has.

This is actually a very nice fragrance! There are some days I need to go out and can't make up my mind of what I want to wear. Just something.. Simple, for every day. And this fits the bill just great. It's very soft, a little girly, creamy/powdery, sweet but nowhere offensive. The blend is great, but I can't really tell notes apart. From begin to end it only gets a little fuller of scent, but does not really evolve. There is a little synthetic scent to it, but that disappears soon enough that it doesn't bother me. The sillage is noticeable with just a little, the only downside is that it wears up for not more than 3 hours max. But that might just be my skin. Although it is not the 'best' fragrance I own in my opinion, it always stays in my wardrobe.

Like so many of you here, I used to wear this as a teenager, it was my signature scent. Funnily enough, even nearing 40 I still find myself buying a bottle every few years, although my taste has become a lot more sophisticated over the years. There's something in this scent that I just adore, I think the combination of peach and violet is what I get the most on my skin. It lasts really long too, feels like it's just right for my complexion and blending with me well. Love spraying this on in the summer, yes it's cheap and way out of my age range but who cares, it makes me feel happy and young again lol!

My Mom bought me this after I finished high school. I chose it myself though. It's sweet and comforting. I can see how it might be considered a teen scent, but I find it lovely even today at 28. Then again, that was around the time my Mom wore Opium, and I wanted to prove to her that it doesn't have to choke you to earn the name 'perfume'. All that aside, it should be in the wardrobe of any sweet scent affacionado. Basically, teen or not, cheap or expensive, if it's sweet I'm all over it!

Got myself a bottle to take a break from my more "serious" perfumes and take a trip down memory lane - oh, what a delight! Spicy, peppery, cool florals mixed with a curiously synthetic peach accord. It's straight to the point, fun and flirty and isn't trying to be what it isn't. It's a fragrance that has fun with itself and it's impossible to resist joining in. Really brightens the mood. Brings so many memories back, of slimmer waists and more hopeful plans for the future.

I used to get so many compliments from guys while wearing this! Absolutely all of them loved this scent and tried to approach and sniff me as often as they could. This perfume is sweet, but not too much, a bit flowery, a bit spicy, a bit vanillary, a bit of peach... Everyting in right doses, it seems. However, it took me some time to get used to it, there was some sharp note which made me sick, maybe cardamon?

I smell it for the first in summer 2008, at first i love it but later it become really boring but it has something that makes me come back,is really fresh but sweet at the same time(the perfect balance for me),i have 18 years old so i consider myself a teen so i think this fragrance is very simple(for teens)& very wearable,is very flirty,girly & a little bit spicy,i totally recommend it.:)

This is THE perfume of my 20s and, God, does it bring a wave of memories back! Figure hugging dresses, long blonde hair, the raw joyful summers of 2010s and boys drooling over this perfume on me. My tastes have evolved but it always has a special place in my heart. Nostalgia in a bottle.

This is my overall favorite perfume! It’s my fifth bottle since I was a teenager. It’s soft, musky, flirty and feminin. Love the basenotes!

I was so curious about this perfume but didn't buy it. Instead, I bought the body lotion. It smells so sweet, I can't figure it out if I like it or not. I think I do :)) Strange is the fact that I get a tabacco scent! Any of you felt that? I put the lotion on before I go to sleep and when I wake up after 6 hours my skin still smells. Lightly, but I can feel it. All in all, it's a sweet fragrance. Perfect for young girls. I don't know if I'd use it in summer/spring time because it's to sweet and may be too much, but it's a good scent for cold, rainy days. Some of you said that the perfume doesn't last much, that it has a poor lasting power. well, try to use it with the lotion for better results. It may work!! I think I will buy this eventually, though I only want 1 perfume for each season, I don't want to have so many perfumes, because after using one for a while the scent remains in my skin :) Oh well, I'll see.

I'm sure I'd tested it years ago and ignored it for some reason - probably found it too much like Bruno Banani or Rush (which I'd owned and didn't enjoy very much). Years later (actually a few weeks ago) I tried it again in a winter day and found it so invigorating, sparkling and inspirating that I decided to have a go - and now I'm enjoying a cute, little 15ml bottle and a body lotion for about 8 Euros!:) The scent is indeed similar to BB and Rush, but much more delicate, fresh, crispy, not as heavy on white florals - and it's perfect for winter days. For me it's not really a lovable scent but definitely a very likeable and seasonal one - worth giving a try.

Lovely scent, rather unusual, but sadly I got bored of it a bit... But it's perfectly composed, not too sweet, a bit fruity, generally speaking - very nice! I like the peach in it. My friend can't stop complimenting on how beautiful I smell when I wear this. She said that it goes well with my personality - sweet with some spice. Meow.

... it’s warm scent and has some spice about it on first spritz, then the cardamom settles and with the freesia building a passage, the peach comes through. peony and violet make it airy and musk, amber and vanilla lay down a creamy blanket, you can get daydream on...

Very flirty, bitchy and wonderful in a complex way. I can clearly determine something like cat piss in it, but it blends unexpectedly nice. Cat Deluxe is something really special, a true tease yet not full-heartedly offensive, so congratulations, Naomi.

MMm.. this smells very girly, its like a mix of cardamom, peach, vanilla and powder. Very very powderish. This was my first perfume ever, when I started getting in to perfumes. I bought it on the airport going to holiday, so it brings back memories.

I love this, this is so fresh, not to sweet and soft, always clean and fruity on me, soo girly and lovely.. aah i'm confused.. but one thing this is soo teenagers perfume, and i like it..

Intense peach scent, very sweet, almost like a cake. It's quite nice but please don't over-spray it in hot weather because it can be nauseating.

Originally I purchased body wash that I absolutely loved. It was this fresh girly vanilla floral candy soft musk. Very pleasant, so perfume purchase followed. Definitely reminds me of scents back in my youth. And this is a better celebrity scent of such sort. At first sweet fruity musk, then vanilla and florals take stage second. Perfume remains sweet until the last few hours where it becomes patchouli leather scent. This part reminds me of Hermes Kelly Caleche, with added sweetness. It does have some power to it, so clubbing perfume for sure. Perfume has more sugar, musk and patchouli in comparison to body wash. Lasts moderately 3-4 hours.

It was my go to perfume as a teenager and in my very early twenties along with Christina Aguilera. I revisited both in my late twenties, and while CA is still a favourite and very occasionally ends up my go to scent for the day, I can’t say the same about Cat Deluxe. I was overjoyed when I found a bottle for cheap in a drug store, remembering all those years spraying it on happily. Oh my how my tastes have changed! Couldn’t stand it, actually found it repulsive and put it straight back on the shelf. Goodbye Cat Deluxe! It was good while it lasted... May you find your young audience.

Smells unisex to me. I don’t know how to describe the smell, to me it’s just warm spicy, amber and musk. I used it as a clubbing perfume because it’s pretty strong, but I don’t particularly like it.

This perfume smells better than I expected! The cardamom note is quite strong, which I like. It compliments the floral notes very well. The soft, fruity peach is also very enjoyable. Well done!

I remember when I was a teenager, I really loved the Cat Deluxe at Night. At some point it was the best thing I had ever smelled. Seductive elixir was also one of my favorites. Naomi Campbell's scent were my teenage scents among with some Avon ones. Now this fragrance I never liked that much. Nothing has changed, today I tried it and I still don't like it. I sense peach and woody notes, sounds good, but it isn't. It's synthetic and cheap smelling. Too bad.

I cant describe how much I hate this one. There is something in it that makes me sick, I just go away from the girls who wear it and once i smelled it from the bottle without knowing that that was the one and I felt dizzy and sick for a couple of hours after that. I guess its cardamon and patchouli that make me feel that way.

I needed to go through my 100th sample of perfume to realize that I hate peach. I've never ever encountered a peachy perfume that I like. All seem to me synthetic and car freshener-ish, including this one. The cardamom is a nice touch, it's not a bad perfume, I just can't seem to wear peach notes.

OK. where is the perfume? it doesn't smell bad, its just NOTHING How can anyone detect ANY notes from this? I read the reviews and thought that it seemed nice...but all I get Is a burst of alcohol.then GONE. such a shame because I loooove the bottle.

Yuck, total insect repellent or cat pee at first sniff - is that why it's called Cat Deluxe? :-) Later on it levels out a bit, onto something more powdery but still, the cat pee lingers on.. not my cup of tea. I guess it's the cardamon?

Amazing fragrance, not typical floral fruity perfume, has warm feeling I guess it’s cardamon. Very well blended. Would like to have in my collection. Sadly I can’t find anywhere in uk, Italy, Lithuania and Ireland...

I really regret buying this, it just smells cheap. I can't wear it and certainly wouldn't want to give it as a gift. A total waste of money.

One word-stinker. Big powderish musky patchouli stinker, too sweet...too everything. Headache in a bottle.

I've been testing this fragrance for quite a while now and I still cannot tell if I like it or hate it. My mother got it as a gift from a friend and she gave it to me because she thinks it is a perfume for young women. And I must say she is partially right. I will start with positive things: - Cat Deluxe is a great everyday scent. You can spray it any time and it won't feel out of place. - Most of the celebrity perfumes fade from my skin in a couple of hours. To my surprise, this one stays longer. - The middle notes are quite nice. And the negative things: - The opening feels so synthetic to me. And you can feel overpowering alcohol scent. - Pretty small silage after about half an hour. At least on my skin. All in all, if you are a teenager and you want a cute little affordable perfume, Cat Deluxe may be the answer. And the bottle will look pretty on your shelves.

I was in my early 20s when this first came out. I loved it on the first spray. I bought it for a friend ( girl) that just graduated from college. I kept trying it every time I was in a parfumery and can't believe I never bought it for myself. Almost 2 decades forward - I actually still like it. It has some weight and warmth to it... it's not too fresh and light so it doesn't evaporate that fast. I find its longevity moderate as well as silage. I think cardamom and patchouli give it a dose of sharpness and seriousness. I don't think it's juvenile at all. And I do think I will finally buy it these days.

A true mood booster! I used to have it back in 2007 but it didn't steal my heart back then. I guess it's because I assumed it's for Spring/Summer season - but this was too harsh for hot weather. Today I saw a tester in a drug store and generously sprayed my wrist. Now I am so pleasantly surprised - to my nose it's like Ultraviolet with more dimensions. I don't know how they combined "fresh" with "velvet" so well:) So, for me the key to appreciate Cat Deluxe is to... wear it in the Fall/Winter season.

I just adore this perfume. It is sweet, flirty, totally girly and pink, with a little twist of temper. It is sweet but not intoxicatingly sugary. The downsides are that it does not last very long and as mentioned below, it smells a bit cheap - maybe because it is so sweet, almost naive. But I like it a lot nad would recommend it for teenagers or women who have a girly attitude. I must also say, that I've had tons of compliments from men when wearing it, they seem to like this perfume a lot.

I liked the playful idea and bought a small bottle without testing. First it seemed sprightly original but after 2-3 times I lost all interest, except for the pink fluff on the bottle. So, it passed to my mum who found smth very familiar about it and asked me to read the notes. That's how she recognized cardamom which she immediately brought from the kitchen to compare: absolutely identical. So there is a generous portion of cardamom in it, and to our noses it dominates and lasts.

I love this perfume! It smells absolutely amazing. It has that kind of powdery sweet floral scent to it & the staying power is amazing, it lasted on me for more than 5 hours, even now almost 9 hours later I can still smell it, but barley. I don't know why everyone says it smells cheap? I find it to be quite classy, but young classy. I love it during the winter days. Also if I could compare this perfume to some kind of an object, it would be the fluffy ball that comes with it. :)

I got this yesterday and I am impressed! My boyfriend kept asking what that smell was and I said it's my Naomi Campbell he said it smells good but it's very strong! Good thing because I love a strong scent otherwise there is no point in wearing a fragrance.I like the bottle too and apparently my 3 year old does as well he was trying to get the pom pom off of the bottle and he kept asking me what it was lol!

this one and the cat deluxe night version are the bomb! they are absolute gems! you'd never think that they're actually nice but they really are. super sexy girly playful scent that is very unique and the night version is just pure sex in a bottle. those 2 fragrances drive boys crazy trust me.

This was my jam when I was like 15, would love to buy it again for the sh*** and giggles, but looks like it's hard to find. As other commenters mentioned as well, it's hard to detect the notes on this, but sometimes these perfumes end up to be the nicest.

I swear this has oak-moss in it, unbelievable its not listed here! i smell no patchouli. it smells very fruity floral, very common but with something synthetic, I dont advise buying, not worth it as many victoria secret's perfumes are way better.
