Mystery

I see a lot of resemblance to Boucheron and Navy, but this is more luxurious than either of those. Longevity is above average, but I need 10-12 spritzes to get any projection. The scent is comforting. If could buy another bottle for $15 instead of $50, I might stock up. Fragrance: 9/10 Longevity: 7/10 Overall: 8/10

I love this perfume; it was my fisrt perfume;bought it twice; my second bottle took some effort to find but it was worth it; the woody notes were really great; I still get a whiff of it from the collar of an old lether jacket I used to wear that came into contact with my neck;

This one smell soo good is very sexy and provocative,its a shame that is discontinued. :(

19. december 2013 I can ́t actually believe how expensive are Naomi Campbell ́s discontinued fragrances! Would you actually pay over 100 euros for 50ml sealed "Naomagic"?? Or over 50 euros for 30ml of "Mystery"??!! Or others? just look at the prices on ebay and be proud if you own some of her discontinued fragrances. but are all them worthy all that money? Can ́t say for all of her fragrances, but the ones i have tried are all nice yet not worth the price tag that they ask for them on ebay! However i must admit and give an honor to the perfumers noses behind her fragrance range and marketing team, that they do smell bit different from the rest of "celebrity" group. Ok, now to the "Mystery" fragrance. I have EDT, also received a tester bottle with purchase of this fragrance so at the moment i review sprays from the tester which might be affected by light and/or heat. The other bottle is still sealed. I must say that this fragrance has kind of "grown-up" base to me, probably thanks to the very strong tonka bean opening, relatively bold composition of other notes and lack of vanilla. YET, it still has that synthetic sandalwood note, however here it is very delicate and soft. Opening is living up to it ́s name: strong, dark, bit mysterious. Blast of tonka bean, with strong amber and dry plum. I am very surprised to see galdbanum amongst the notes (respect), however it is very soft in here, yet detectable. I believe those notes together add some kind of sophistication and adultness to the whole composition. Bitter oranges are also detectable during the middle stage. Strange thing that after the opening notes begin to fade the orange note kind of "explodes" at first (like somebody has squeezed the orange), marking probably the start of middle stage and then becomes softer. Quite an interesting approach, i wonder how they have achieved it. The drydown is bitter citrusy with a hint of sandalwood. Woody in one word! Enjoyable through all the stages! I think that miss Campbell understands that she is not a teenage idol, she is a beauty icon and probably has more fans amongst grown up women than teenagers. Knowing that she tries not to achieve popular nowdays fruitchouli or vanilla-stuffed floral fragrance status and that is good. They are very nice and safe, yet have that "catchy" edge. Glad i ́ve got it and if i had a chance to buy it at the same price i did without overpaying i definitely would again. Moderate sillage, moderate lasting power. I will have to go and compare it to the "At night" fragrance since several people write they are very close. But this one is actually quite similar to "Le bain" from Joop!, that ́s true. UPDATE (several days later): Well, this fragrance has nothing in common with "Naomi at night", tested them both side by side and they are very different (maybe except the drydown, which is almost the same in most Naomi ́s fragrances). I would say it is rather similar to original Naomi fragrance, since they share the same base.

I got Naomi Campbell "Mystery" for Christmas from one of my aunts back when I was in junior high. I liked the way it smelled in theory but for some reason I didn't find myself wearing it a lot. A couple of years afterwards I found it again and since I had heard that scents go bad after a few years I poured the whole 50 ml thing right into the sink. Now, 10 years later and an active Fragrantican, I read that it is discontinued and lots of people like it and want to get their hands on it... yeah. Sorry folks. Someone was selling a barely used 30 ml bottle of this boxed for 5 € though so I couldn't let the opportunity pass me by. I wanted to smell it again after all these years. It is just as unique as I remember it. Overall I like every single one of Naomi Campbell's perfumes - they are really quite unique and very well made in the celebrity category. This one is definitely a hidden gem and I can't even begin to describe it.

What a lovely surprise of a scent. With such a name I thought it would be more of an edgy perfume, but no. Initally I purchased body wash that I used it up in a week, so decided to get the perfume. No regrets. Soft, gentle, comforting, soothing soft musk and delicate earth resin notes. Very unassuming if you read the notes alone and then everyone 's reviews. It smells amazing, puts a smile on my face. Well done, quality stuff. I realize it's pricy now because it's hard to find, but worth it. Obviosuly wish it lasted longer 4 hours, I smell it in my hair afterawhile. If any other scent to compare is Lanvin Oxygene (more lactonic) and D&G Feminine (more floral), all slightly different however very similar types of scents, soothing and comforting.

Tooo similar to Joop!Le Bain.If u cant find the later you can try with Mistery,.They are almost the same!!!

Got a sample of this with a purchase on Ebay. Being discontinued and an oriental woody, it sounded right up my alley. Well, at the first tentative spray it was just another Trussardi Inside, Sensuous or Let it Rock to me nose, a modern, sparkling, citrusy oriental woody, a shadow of a true woody oriental fragrance. I applied a couple of more spritzes from the vial and let it settle. Well, it was quite some stuff. It smelled of bitter almond, like a deep, insense-like but sweet woody substance and it stayed on my skin for pretty much 2 hours. Then it became a more vanillic, nutty-ambery sweet oriental that was pleasant but a bit generic. I didn't get a lot of in the way of the plum - hibiscus middle notes, absolutely no florals on me. To sum up, another modern sweet woody-oriental with a of a dark edge to it if you spray enough to suffocate on. May Mystery rest in peace and never ressurected.

The scent opens rather sweet, plum and caramel(at least to my nose). But after already 10Min. the base settles - and after that it stays strong, but oh soooo good. It's not too sweet, the plummy note ads sth. special to the resin/cedary base. It's such a sensual fragrance- it's woody creamy but not too sweet, but not 'manly' or 'herb' neither. I like it, LOVE it so much - and again it's descontinued... What's with them? I began to collect it ;)

This is a lovely woody oriental with something different about it and certainly not like all other boring celebuscents. It's really well blended and nothing really stands out too much but I sense a creamy gorgeous tonka with a hint of sandalwood and something else, is it hibiscus? Not sure as it's so well blended but this beautiful creamy scent has something dark about it. Really nice.

I was a bit sceptical about getting this as I don't like woody scents but nevertheless I ordered some samples from ebay. Now I wish I hadn't. Shame as the start was very promising. Kind of sweet floral but now I am left with something that is making me nauseous. Could be the resin and the wood combo but I won't be buying full size.

A very good oriental. Rich, dense, like melted caramel. I mostly get a very strong tonka note toether with plum and amber. They form a lovely accord: warm, somehow nutty, bittersweet, plum marmalade-like. Yum! Not literally feminine, but just unbelievably sensual and sexy!

The successful, dynamic women's fragrance. Cunning fragrance, with Oriental lustful tickets. Erotic and fascinating. Sensual, but after all elegant! In brief on all of them, which are feminine,...

Would somebody say something about this fragrance? It looks interesting, but I'd like to read some reviews before ordering it.
