Winter Kiss

Mmmmm.. I just got this not very long ago from my girl friend who got it out of her old dusty perfumes. I promptly took it off her hands! Naomi Campbell though.... whatever happened to her? Don't know.. but this perfume is definitely a type of scent she would exude! Spicy, pretty... and sweet (though I've heard she's not so sweet, lol.) But the name fits it perfectly. this is meant to be worn in the winter, preferably when it's snowing.. over the holidays, yes. I was so impressed with this one, and very happy to stumble upon it for free! a big score in my book, lol. It seems like this one isn't for sale anywhere..impossible to find. perhaps it didn't do very well... and of course, Naomi Campbell has fallen out of the spotlight herself. But her perfume is still very much relevant to me. I've tried others of hers as well, and haven't had a complaint yet. I will say, that longevity and sillage could be stronger. but other than that, this is right up my alley.. If you don't like vanilla, I wouldn't pursue this scent. Everyone loves the idea of a holiday scent, but with the holidays comes baking, sweets, vanilla, spices, etc etc. Along with the vanilla is a very woodsy smell..almost like an actual Christmas tree! I'm sure that's what they were aiming for. or maybe the Christmas tree woodsy scent is just my mind playing tricks on me...perhaps the cedar and pink pepper is giving off that particular aroma. but it reminds me of hiking in Washington state.. the deep forest and tall pines. damp and musky. star anise is prominent as well. spicy warmth, dusty and musky vanillary sweet. Very good. Others have said it smells synthetic... ? i dunno, I like it a lot. this one is very special indeed.

This is, by far, one of the best NC fragrances. Gorgeous florals spiced up and wrapped in a vanillic cocoon. It's slightly different from the NC released in 1999 - both the original and the flanker share similarities but Winter Kiss has a well pronounced pink pepper and remains less musky than its predecessor. Lasting power and sillage are great, considering it's an EDT. Grab it if you find an opportunity - it smells much more expensive than a lot of high shelf fragrances. As it's quite rare these days, chances are you won't find anyone else wearing it. I often receive compliments and love the curious looks on people's faces when I tell them I'm wearing a Winter Kiss this winter. I truly hope that Naomi brings this discontinued gem back.

beautiful scent, very sweet, woody and warm which creates a festive mood for the Christmas holidays. Also perfect for those cold winter days when you want to feel comfortable and warm. I smell vanilla the most.The lasting power on me is very good, 4 or 5 hours. I love almost all Naomi perfumes but this is definitely my winner. :)

It may be strange, but I don't associate it with the winter, it's more like a kiss - warm, mild, romantic. A very expensive cream or lipstick could smell like that- slightly spicy, powdery which adds a vintage vibe to it, modern and inoffensive. When it dries down, it becomes warmer, more vanilla and a very beautiful mixture of woodsy notes, still with a hint of spices.

Very well balanced and comfortable floral woody musk. It suits its season, of course, although I prefer sweeter and heavier fragrances during winter. It is a safe bet if you don't want to offend those around, for everyday and office environment. It reminds me so much of Avon's Célèbre, this one just a little more sophisticated. The longevity is quite satisfying.

It sounded so nice but was just a synthetic cheap smelling disappointment.

This opens with a strong blast of bergamot and pink pepper, I normally dont like pepper notes but this is nicely tempered and its not that peppery. Ther bergamot softens and it becomes more spicy and warm and the lovely florals bloom, although I can still smell the bergamot mixed in. This is really lovely, I dont think it smells like the original either, even though their bottles are the same. The only complaint I have is that this is not that long lasting, especially compared to the original which has great staying power. This one seems to disappear within an hour or so, which is really disappointing, especially considering it starts off quite strong, I thought this would last all day!! I personally don't think the name suits the scent perfectly, although its not bad. I would expect something called winter kiss to be based around cinammon, clove and such spices. But the florals and bergamot give this a fresh feel.

I bought myself a little bottle of Winter Kiss when it came out years ago. I used it up and when I wanted to buy it again the limited edition was already gone from the stores. It took me a lot of time but I managed to get hold of one more bottle of this sparkling fragrance. Winter Kiss is very warm and cozy, perfect for wintertime. It’s rather sweet but the rich florals make this perfume also suitable for festive events. I really like bergamot in this scent. I usually don’t care about bergamot much. But in Winter Kiss it helps the other top notes to be more balanced and not to be too overpowering and that's what I like about bergamot in this perfume. I can actually smell it “in action”. I can say that Winter Kiss is my favorite fragrance from Naomi Campbell. I haven’t tested them all and I’m not going to because I’m not a fan of her. But this second bottle of Winter Kiss I’m going to keep longer in my wardrobe.

To me this perfume resembles the first Naomi's perfume, the only difference is that it is in a bit different bottle. However, it is rally lovely! In the beginning you can smell the top fruity notes which become spicier and spicier. The lasting power on me is really good, so in the evening I am accompanied by sweet velvety woods. Thsi perfume is worth its price. A luxury for every day!

I've been wearing it these cold days. "Winter kiss" does have style in it, but also has some excessive, caramel-like artificiality. And somehow this perfume refuses to interact... The name, however, had managed to captivate me and led me to purchase :-)

I had it, and I can tell you it suits the name. I wouldn't call it a blast, but it's really warm and sweet, like Christmas cookies, suitable for snowy days and holidays. You can feel cinnamon and vanilla throughout the whole composition.
