Went to the store today to sampe a couple of frag's.I took home a couple of paper strip samples, of everything I smelled this def stood out! Coming here to see the reviews kind of made me sad and worried it will smell different on skin. Going back tomorrow for a skin test and to get a sample. I really hope it will be similar to what I'm getting on paper. I get a very fresh and slight, not sweet at all creamy (maybe it's powedery?) scent wich a very light but not obvious resembly of coconut. This is how I would describe it. But I'll have to come back once I tested it on my skin a couple of times. Edit: Got a sample today and been wearing it for a couple of hours. The first thing I norticed is that it's definitely a little bit more sweet on my skin then on the paper. Not really sweet, but it's there, as on the paper wasn't at all. I's very light in a fresh way. I'm still getting a very slight creamy kind of coconut vibe from this that I really like, it's subtile bit that's what it's reminding me off. Interesting is that after a while I'm getting incense coming though but not in an overpowering way. Must be the frankincense. Edit 2: I just realized it reminds me slightly off Axe Excite that I used when I was younger. Since I have olfactory memorie connected to that scent it might explain why this touches me so. Not perse the scent but more how it makes me feel

I really don’t get the hate around this fragrance. I actually am finding it to be slowly crawling up the ranks to be one of my favorites. I bought it for work because it’s the perfect “inoffensive but also different” scent profile. Yet, I find myself reaching for it on the regular as the weather gets warmer. I even bought a backup bottle which is saying something. Despite the name I don’t get the big vetiver hit. Nothing like tf grey or tdh Eau de intense vetiver. It’s just so exceptionally smooth. You get the woodsy notes, you get the rosy geranium, the algae in this one I find to be delightful. I don’t like the algae notes in ocean noir or Le sel D’Issey even though I own both. You get the signature narciso musk but blended in far better than it is in bleu noir which I find to just be wayyyy too musky. I’m no fragrance snob. I like what I like and I don’t care if it was cheap or not. Price shouldn’t be a factor in determining if a fragrance is good. You can get the small bottle of this for under $40 and the big one for about $60 so try it and if you don’t like it at least you aren’t out much. It’s a great way to have an extremely pleasant fragrance without smelling like every other guy in your office wearing Y, BDC, and sauvage. And Janice from accounts payroll definitely won’t complain.

Different from all their blue bottled scents. This Vetiver musc is either a dislike or you'll really love it. Initial wear I was sitting on the fence but this does take a few wears for you to grow to like it. It is somewhat more suitable as a cold weather scent and a bit spicy. You'll definitely get the synthetic musk with the Incense. What may cause a dislike is those who doesn't like marine dna or scents may be thrown off or repelled by it, this marine smell comes from the leathery red algae, you'll need to like similar scents in the market to like this with the musk since both musk and the marine red algae are pretty prominent to me. However to my nose, it's pretty well blended and it sits pretty nice on the skin giving off a marine musky musculine vibe. I'm sure some ladies will like this smelling off their men's skin. But try not to overspray this especially in the hot and warm weather.

It takes some focus and zoning in to really understand the fragrance, it's not so much an instant love or something you understand at first sniff, but it's great. Smell it as you read the notes and it makes sense much easier. Which is a great quality as it is purely unique, there's nothing else really like it yet at the same time you can highlight the notes in it that remind you of other aquatic and lightly spicy fragrances. My only negative is sometimes, especially in the initial spray it emulates a "bug spray" type memory, I know that sounds bad but it grows on you. For the price it definitely is a must try, and if you end up hating it the bottle is still gorgeous along with the other flankers.

The low rating on this is laughable. This is criminally under rated. Like a twist on the Silver Mountain Water DNA, but fresher. And much more likeable. I also own Mefisto Gentiluomo, and it occupies a similar space in my collection. No, I don't get much vetiver. Who cares. I get no oceanic vibes from 40 knots, either. Big whoopdedoo. This is the spring and summer 'I've only got some casual meet-ups or errands to run on the to-do list' kind of frag. Church friendly in warmer weather for sure. This is great stuff. A bit understated, and longevity could be better, but that is the case with almost all of them these days. The prices for this on the discounters is very good as well. Big like from me.

I’ve been wearing Vetiver Musc for few days, so I can write few words about it. First of all I must say that it is well made and pleasant perfume, the dry down isn’t screechy or unpleasant. As a reviewer below said the original DNA is sort of back, but I would say it is still more in style of Bleu Noir than original For him. Opening is definitely spicy cardamom with musc, it’s aromatic and then bourbon geranium comes to front with its rosy green aroma. Dry down is slightly leathery and slightly similar to the dry down of For her. Maybe it’s me and I don’t smell it that much after some time, but I would say that it’s on the soft side, longevity is ok.

I really love this. Surprised to see some of the reviews on here be so negative. To my nose, this is consistent with the Narcisco's "for him" lines but much more interesting. This take on vetiver is so different from a lot of my other vetiver fragrances. This is giving less woody and more almost aquatic, fresher, cleaner vibes. It may not be the most unique fragrance on the market but it also isn't very generic or blah. It stands completely on it's own and will be an easy pick for the Spring and Summer months. Also, longevity on my skin is easily 6-7 hrs with pretty consistent projection which is impressive for an EDT in today's market. BIG fan!

Beautiful, fresh, and unique. The “dark floral” here is that masculine geranium‐rose vibe — clean, airy, modern, nothing candy, nothing old‐lady, nothing spicy like Toy Boy. It even gives me a touch of fancy women’s shampoo, but in a good way: premium, clean, elegant. Vetiver? Honestly, barely feel it. It’s more a clean mineral support than a real vetiver note. The musks + geranium do most of the work, creating this fresh floral‐clean aura that feels super modern and easy to wear. Not a mass‐appeal fragrance, not the easiest style, but for someone who wants to try something different, this is a must‐try — especially at discounter price.

Just received some samples I purchased of Vetiver Musc. I think it is a solid offering, head and shoulders above the Bleu Noir line, which is really not my jam. I do think it draws on the original "For Him" DNA which, to me, is notable for having a very abstract, dry, almost petro-chemical vibe. With Vetiver Musc, I get something akin to permanent marker in the opening - which I like! It is joined by a marine accord, a fairly dank, oceanic one, but subtly dosed. I get vetiver from the opening on down. NOT sexy, sweet, citrusy, fresh, or immediately charming; it's a very adventurous release for a mainstream designer house. I like it! 4/5

This is a proper green masculine, very bold release in 2024 as it is against the grain of what men is supposedly to smell like in this era; dessert cakes and harsh ambroxan. I find it unique, attractive, clean and balanced. It isn't a woody normal vetiver that I have come to expect when seeing that in the name of the frag. I don't know about the notes but there is a sweet fruity element in this, like fig! Perfectly countered with spice and earthy forrest smells. The only thing, it might be very safe for many. There is no thrills or sexiness, it leans polite. But I hope I am wrong about that, because I could pick this up.

Tried just once on myself from a tester today, and it is really lovely, toned down vetiver, that is not used with a heavy hand in a nose hair searing-off amount, unlike the screechy Hermes' Eau Intense Vetiver or, God forbid, the Lalique's Encre Noire, which are both too vetivery for me, to the point of being unbearable to wear. Narciso's concoction is nothing like these, and I have no notes or criticism, really. It's just a lovely blended unique unisex fragrance, I would say, that is a fresh, fougere-ish blend with the right amount of balsamic sweetness, that I will definitely come back to to explore more...

I've had this for a year, and I love it even more. If you got paradise garden, it's redundant. It's basically PG without the coconut. I got both. PG is more of a summer frag. While this is perfect for spring. Like all Narciso Rodriguez frags, they start being hated, and then are loved. If you like green frags with a touch of sweetness, this won't disappoint. Name is misleading though. This is not a Vetiver leaning frag. There are hints. But don't expect to smell guerlain vetiver. 8.1/10

Delicious, and in a different way just as good as Narciso Rodriguez For Him and NR For Him Eau de Parfum, and yes I know those are big words...! Solid release however I would definitely pick up at discounters and not full price. In the same class of profile like mefisto and milliesime imperial, not clones or anything just in the same family. It also has a similar tea note to encre noire indigo just not as strong of a tea note and slightly sweeter overall. If you like those fragrances you will likely like this one. I think it suits office wear and spring time. Longevity isn't the best so don't expect super performance.

Starts with a punch of Patchouli & earthy vetiver. Quickly moves into powdery nearly metallic musk & cardamom sweet with nutmeg over cedar & frankincense. Vetiver dances with lavender & cypress.. woody, powdery, spicey & sweet all in one. Vetiver's sour with minty almost peppery patchouli brightness contrasts against that sweet nutmeg and powdery classic Narciso musk is addictive. The cardamom, lavender, cypress hold it firmly on the masculine side of unisex, but just barely.

Beautiful scent, very freshy summer / spring day perfume. I get a lot of pepper and sandalwood vibes, a salty but in a good way, its like walking at a very freshy beach with green trees, smelling the trees and the sea but not the "marine" and algae scent that some people find repulsive. I LOVE IT, and it stays for hours which I wasn't expecting from Narciso, I've used it yesterday and it still projects. This is going to be my new everyday perfume for a while.

To me this is Narciso Rodriguez's take on modern fresh scents with their own signature twist. This can definitely be considered unisex since it's not the most masculine scent due to its fresh floral sweetness. Vetiver Musc develops throughout the life of the fragrance and I really enjoy each stage in its development. This one is really underrated and deserves more attention.

This sht beats my Tom Ford Costa Azzurra Parfum and Beau de Jour edp in longevity. Very masculine, and is perfect as men’s fargance for summer. I would name it Mediterranean Musc. I’m quite impressed by the longevity and dry down notes. I’m lioking forward to see how EDP or parfums from this line will perform. I have high expectations

Just picked up a bottle here on vacation. I absolutely love it. The opening is amazing. It's fresh but not boring. It's different to a lot of other designer citrus and blue fragrances. I get subtle musc and vetiver. Perfect for spring, summer. A nice masculine fresh fragrance I'm going to wear this all year.

This one has truly grown on me throughout the years (got it on 2024), so it's time to change my rating from like to love. Just an all around pleasant scent that's very versatile. Very similar to the new Issey M pour homme EDP, but I think I like this more as that musk adds another dimension.

Saw some comparisons to Un Jardin en Mediterranee, It's nothing alike BUT this smells AMAZING. It's green, fresh and musky and clean. also marine and mineralic (idk about vetiver since i dont know what pure vetiver actually smells like) It smells good I like it :) 9/10

My wife and I both love this one. As another reviewer mentioned, a no-brainer for the cost if you like this scent profile. Sprayed it on at the airport before a 4 hour flight and could easily smell it the whole way. Picked it up at a discounter when I got home.

What you'd expect your summer hotel's bedsheets to smell like. Drydown is salty, woody and musky on my skin. Awesome skin scent and on clothes. Good for daily use (mornings and early evenings) and the office.

Got this today as a blind buy and was pleasantly surprised fantasic scent. I am a huge fan of vetiver this is earthy and woody.Great price cost peanuts. I will be looking into more Narciso rodrigues scents.

Very aromatic. Floral. But masculine. I'm a NR fan boy, so I love it. If you're looking for a very easy vetiver fragrance. Something you can wear during the day or at work, this is for you. 8/10

I bought this because of the comparison with Cartier d’un soirée. It’s very similar. I just start wearing it, yesterday I liked it, today I smell a hint of something ambroxan (wich I hate).

That’s exactly what your office needs... musky , clean , a bit citrusy & earthy .. I like it because I can wear it anytime anywhere.. simple but not boring

They bring back the old DNA of Narciso Rodriguez for him, woody and musk, fresh vetiver and beautiful bottle and unisex scent I think

Damp fresh white musks and the green aromatics give you a very cold cucumber lemonade vibe. Very decent freshie

Salty, marine musk with crazy longevity. On clothes it last weeks. Worth a try if you enjoy narciso fragrances.

Tried it at the store on a warm, dry, windy day here in La Paz and I think the hate for this one is somewhat overblown. Yes, it is definitely not NR's best work, and doesn't reach the level of my favorite from the line, For Him Bleu Noir EDP, but it definitely smells good. In the opening you definitely get a kind of granular effect, a combo of the cypress + cardamom + algae + grassy vetiver, while in the drydown I get a bit more of the cedar along with NR's trademark plush musks. In a dry climate like I live in, this is actually lasting for a good while, but I can imagine that it would get eaten up in a hot, humid climate. I see the idea behind this one being good, taking the DNA of the line into a woodier direction, but I think that it shouldn't be called "vetiver" as it really does not have a very strong vetiver note. Cedar Musc would have been a better name for this one. The other problem with this one is the price. Of course, if this was from, say Armand Basi or Rochas or something that regularly gets deep discounts, it would be a banger, but paying Narciso retail for this one would be absurd. Wait until it hits the discounters and I think this could be a nice addition to a summer lineup as kind of a woody musky scent. Otherwise, I'll stick to my Bleu Noir EDP. 6/10

A very nice surprise. I dig the brand, and this was originally disappointing when it was announced because vetiver and I have a mostly negative relationship. It's always too caustic, too dry and smoky for me. Musk is also love/hate for me, I can love white musks and even some black musks but as soon as it goes into pissy (for a lack of better term) territory, I'm out. This is absolutely none of these. Vetiver Musc is clean, soft, pleasant and very Spring-like. This to me is a laundry musk type of fragrance but not like MFK's 724. This is more mature and masculine-leaning, maybe because of the vetiver. I think it's light and airy because it's made for sunny Spring and Summer weather and not for cold weather. On my skin I get a good 4-5 hours. It's a very airy scent, with a soft sillage and sticks close to skin after the first hour, making it a great office scent. If you don't like vetiver, don't let the name fool you, try it out. Especially if you like clean, laundry-musk type of scents, you might find this very pleasant as I did. Narciso has always been somewhat of an underdog in the male designer fragrance world but I've never been let down personally. Good stuff.

Surprisingly super longlasting. I sprayed it on 1 hand and The One EDP Intense on the other hand, at around 20pm. it's 11am, after sleep, gym and shower, and i still detect the base of the scent on my hand. The D&G had disappeared when i woke up. The scent itself, it's similar to Declaration D'Un Soir. Yes, i smell that rose-pepper-sandalwood combo here. Not exactly the same but pretty close. So, it's still a Bleu Noir scent in the way that it resemble the Declaration DNA. The vetiver is not present at all. I get that slightly salty and fresh tone of Algae, the geranium (that has rose aspects here), cypress and musk. It's good and with good quality but it's still not a favorite. Not any of them are favorites for me. It's a really nice line but i still prefer the OG For Him EDT made by Kurkdjian. But i'm really surprised by the longevity of this one. Not a beast in projection but on skin it lasts a long time.

Tried this today. I’m a big devoted fan of the original NR for him (grey) which I have a few back bottles of. Since it got discontinued the releases have been pretty boring and smell Terre D’hermes like. This one isn’t groundbreaking, and not overly unique, but in a sea of stinky, boring and putrid acidic ambroxan era, where all the designer perfumes and even niche use this awful disgusting stinky and cheap smelling molecule, you got give them credit for putting out something which does not contain it. It is similar to Hermes’s Jardin en Mediterranee and Amazingreen from Comme des Garçons. It leans more to Commes, as it’s spicer than bitter. And also reminiscent of Abbysae 31 from L’artisan parfumer. You can smell the saltiness in it coming from the algea, and it is very herbal and aromatic, but it does move between jardin and amazingreen and ending up smelling like a very nice herbal rock.

A lot of mixed/negative reviews about this, to me this smells very high quality. Aromatic, fresh, and i get a hint or powderiness and a small dose of this fresh sweet kind of smell to it, not sure where its from. Projection sits close to the skin, but for a fragrance like this its not meant to be a beast anyways. Good for all ages imo, and great for any occasion, probably just not good for date nights as it doesn't have that "wow" factor, and not for winter. A solid 8/10 in my collection. Its going to be my dumb reach, fragrances. Treat it how you would treat Dior Sauvage.

It was an instant buy as I found an offer for 100ml at 60 EUR. I find it very lovely, easy-going, something I was missing in my collection, as I get "green" vibes from it. I love vetiver, but I cannot spot it; in fact, to me it should be named "Geranium Musc" instead. In the drydown, I get a very nice and melancholic "seaweed" which is not listed, so I guess it'd be the "red algae" I am not familiar with. A safe buy, for a casual elegant look (and yes, you have to overspray it).

Very clean, fresh, masculine, mature scent. You can wear this in many situations but I think its a scent for warmer days. It does stay on clothes for days, but overall projection and sillage are poor. First hour it's there, then it's just a skin scent. If you wanna smell fresh and mature and don't mind reapplying, then you should go for it.

This is what I imagine perfumes smelled like 2000 years ago. Has an almost dusty, “just rained for the first time in ages” type aroma which is more pleasant than it sounds. I got a sample vial with a different purchase and this is one I keep wanting to smell all day. Its a bit different to what I would normally wear, but I like it

For me this smell like a wet musky sandalwood accord that is familiar in many successful releases such as BDK Gris Charnel, mmmm. Indeed I think it safe to say if there would be a Gris Charnel Eau Fraiche it would smell like this. Citrusy, musky , velvet woods with touch of fig feel. Nice release ! Cheers

Tried this out on my wrist for the day and it lasted a long time. It started off promising, but wasn’t one I liked enough to warrant a purchase. It had a light unisex makeup kind of smell to my nose. Not very earthy or musky, but I wouldn’t mind smelling it on someone else. Cool bottle too.

One of the better perfumes from the Narciso collection, it lasts a long time and the smell is pleasant, I don't know, but it seems to me that it has similarities with Creed Millesime... Scent 9/10 Sillage 9/10 Longevity 10/10 Projection 8/10

No brainer given the price. To me, this is creamy cypress and Narcisso musc. Wears light, inoffensive, while sitting close to skin after initial spray. Feels fresh and clean for warm days. Everyday work or after shower scent.

This definitely smells like a lighter version of JPG Le Beau Paradise Garden, which is weird because they don't share any notes. I like it though, would be great for the office. Was able to scoop this up at Winners for $50.
