Jasmine Musc

I accidentally stumbled across this scent, and like many others before me I found it to be.. nothing special. A bit old fashioned and archaic even.. ON ITS OWN... This is a layering scent. I don't think it's even supposed to be worn on its own. Sprayed on top of any of any other for her scents and you have a master piece. It's so warm and comforting, yet dazzling and tempting and can add uniqueness to any other NR For Her. I especially love the combination with Musc Noir... As opposed to Pure Musc, which could be worn on its own but its even better in combination, this one is simply destined to elevate other fragrances, spicing things up a bit...

Beside of my obsession with Ylang Ylang, this perfume made me a bit nostalgic for some reason. the combination of the floral notes is insane, it created a piece of art. I can see myself wearing this perfume day and night for a week. the best part about it, its doesn't irritate the nose, its powdery in a beautiful way, its an all season perfume. very charismatic. Overall 9/10

This smells amazing! I dont think I’ve ever found a Narciso fragrance that I disliked . This is a beautiful sexy musky jasmine. I get a little bit of the tuberose but its not overpowering and it doesnt make the fragrance smell old fashion. It does smell sophisticated but it has an airy quality that makes it easy to wear . I love it !

This perfume makes me smile, it is divine, simply divine. Jasmine with hints of tuberose and ylang ylang make the most wonderful of bouquets, vanilla, musk and a touch of woodiness give the most solid of bases. I adore this, and that's all I have to say.

This is what Cleopatra would smell like. Deep and spicy musk, I don't get much jasmine but it's beautiful nonetheless. It reminded me a bit of byredo gypsy water. Would be nice to wear for a sensual night out.

Edit: this needed to macerate for the jasmine, woody and amber notes to appear. The top notes are indeed gardenia and ylang-ylang, but also jasmine. They are blended so much that I'm not really able to smell them apart, except for at the initial spritz. The drydown is a sweet gardenia-jasmine, with some earthy woody notes. It smells similar to Olympea from Paco Rabanne, just with those earthy woody notes added. I love jasmine. I have a jasmine bush, grew up with jasmine, drink jasmine tea... I can't smell jasmine in this. This smells more... tropical? It reminds me slightly of Tropiquez by Lancôme. It's soft, juicy, slightly powdery, with no prominent notes of any kind of flowers to me, actually. A tiny little bit earthy, sweet... tropical. Can't smell any musc either. A perfume really well suited for spring and summer, but not as special as the ratings indicate, IMO... maybe it needs to macerate? Maybe I need to try it on clothes? Maybe in other kind of weather (not so hot)?

Jasmine Musk by NR is a nice mix of white, yellow floral with an ambery, vanilla, woody base. It’s not the most expensive scent these days, but it’s from the higher priced collection from Narciso Rodriguez. And for me, an avid collector of white and yellow florals, it’s missing the mark. In theory, it should be my dream scent but it’s something about it that comes across a bit sharp or animalic to my nose. There’s something in background in here that bothers my nose every time I sniff it. It’s beautiful done, don’t get me wrong, but when I have an extended collection of the same style of perfumes, Jasmine Musk simply falls flat... The performance is somewhat strong, it’s very long lasting but it’s not a massive projector. For around 200 euros, you can get better white floral perfumes in 2025 in my opinion! The bottle is beautiful and weighted but the cap is an atrocious piece of cheap, clear plastic. And it’s an expensive perfume..

I own and LOVE Narciso by Narciso Rodriguez "White Cube." I guard the fragrance because it's out-of-production. I've been on a bit of a jasmine-bender; decided to try Jasmine Musc. I blind-bought a full, unopened bottle of "Jasmine Musc" because I LOVE mixed white florals. And I love NR's musk perfumes. So, this is an "Okay this is nice.: However, Jasmine Musc but is not as overwhelmingly pleasant to my nose as Narciso by Narciso "White Cube." Jasmine Musc is what it states...a HUGE, mixed-white floral bomb with predominant jasmine and musk. The florals are well-blended and very pretty. So, jasmine is prominent, there's tuberose, I get ylang-ylang, definitely some gardenia. All of this on a base of vanilla, woody notes, amber and musk. This perfume wears ethereal, hazy and light. A very pretty, uncomplicated, feminine, mixed-white flower fragrance. Just wish the musk was more elevated. Otherwise, the fragrance is nice.

Ay ne güzel bir kokusun sen böyle, prenses kokusu musun nesin sen 🥹💕. Çok beğendim. Dünyanın en değişik kokusu değil ama o kadar feminen, o kadar hoş kokuyor ki anlatamam. Tam olarak şu kokuyor diyemiyorum ama parfüm gibi kokan çiçeksi bir koku olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Yasemin bazen çok animalic kokabiliyor, ama bu öyle kokmuyor, çiçekleri gayet soft, ancak amber kokusu da geldiğini söylemem gerek. Tam midi boy çiçekli elbise parfümü, ay bayıldıımmm. Elimde 3ml dekantı var, hemen koşa koşa büyük boyunu alacağım ✨️✨️

EDIT: there is a note of either plum or cherry in this on me. Does anyone else get that...? To me, this smells like jasmine with a tiny bit of lily of the valley. Not tuberose or gardenia, but lily of the valley, because it has some kind of earthy note - almost geosmin-like. It's an OK smell, but pretty boring. I have to tey layering it with some other kind of jasmine perfume, I think. It's a very simple, feminine perfume. Easy wedding scent, for example.

I tried it on my arm. It smells nice and sweet. It is different from patchouli musc, but the sweetness smells similar for me. Also, this scent reminds me of Yves roche plein soleil at the beginning. ( I might make mistakes). I thought it was tropical. I can smell jasmine of course. Dry down, it changes a bit and I prefer this scent over plein soleil because it smells more gorgeous and I can catch tiny hint of churchy or incense scent. It’s sooo cool 😭

It’s a nice scent, lots of white flowers, jasmin. Not much of Musk though. Nothing new here. Nice and pleasant but if you have Rouge Malachite by Armani Prive you don’t need this one.

I'm having a bad day. This is the second fragrance I tried today that smells almost identical to another fragrance I already own. The first was Atkinsons Love in Idleness, which smelled almost identical to Guerlain Insolence edt., but just lighter. I just tried this, and it smells like a lighter version of La Perla Contemporary Tuberose. The one difference is there are none of those newfangled molecules (ambroxan, Iso?), in La Perla as there are here, which smells like rubbing alcohol to me. Oh, well, guess you can't win them all. I'll stick to what I already own which smells much better to me.

I'm so sad because I love Narciso's musky ambery florals, and these notes and accords sound like they were made for me! On my skin, though, it smells much too bubblegummy-sweet, despite my taste literally being sweetish florals. It's probably a mix from the vanilla and tuberose. I don't usually like vanilla in perfume, so no surprise there, but I love tuberose.. The drydown is less sweet and the jasmine comes out, but nothing that stands out to me. Sooo disappointed, I had high hopes.

It's nice but nothing special. I love Jasmine and white musk so this hit the spot, but it's honestly just a bit too boring for its price and the drydown was a bit metallic. Could be good to layer to make it more interesting.

Beautiful scent but doesn't last long and definitely way too overpriced.

As other reviewers have correctly pointed out, this scent is all about jasmine, tuberose and vanilla - although the expected NR musk is lurking somewhere in the back. The scent is not very original, but it is nice nevertheless - so creamy, mildly sweet, sophisticated and pleasant. I’d say that it leans feminine. I also think that it is overpriced for what it offers (as is the case with all NR ‘unisex’ perfumes in golden bottles), but it is a safe blind buy and it would make a beautiful gift. Projection and longevity are moderate.

I love Narciso fragrances and the orientale muscs are divine with stronger sillage and longevity compared to the other lines. The notes in Jasmine Musc is right up my alley. The top is a blast of ylang ylang and tuberose. They mingle together and remained at the forefront, overshadowing the jasmine. Only after a couple of hours does the jasmine take centre stage. It becomes soft and round with the musk, with hints of vanilla mellowing thus out. Beautiful scent with more substantial sillage than the rest of the line.

Slightly synthetic jasmine, it's ok. It's actually a nice fragrance, I'm just now super sensitive to synthetic florals and a floral snob. They are the only note that I really want to be authentic and real and if not, I can tell fairly quickly. Looking for a good jasmine perfume, try Madagascan Jasmine by Grandifloral. It's a line of florals created by a florist who's paired with great perfumers to create amazing floral creations. They have an amazing gardenia and jasmine offering.

I tried this spontaneously at the airport, and it was really lovely. Very nice jasmine that isn't animalic but isn't overly fresh either, just creamy and flowery. However, when I found out the price...it's very high for how linear it is. I can't justify it. If money is no object, I might recommend it.

Beautiful jasmine in full bloom on a warm spring night, framed by the heavy mysticism of an Eastern Orthodox church. It opens almost sacred and deeply ceremonial, but the woody drydown turns anticlimactic, lingering far too long after the floral and amber divinity has faded.

First impressions: floral mix very beautiful drowning in a typical base from the middle eastern perfumery with musc and amber. The middle eastern vibe is very clear and it matches the collection it belongs to.

Amber gardenia musky jasmines... This is more of an amberic jasmines with gardenia, dusty vanilla, sweet woods, sweet amber, and musk. It's an interesting fruitti jasmines white floral woody musk. Nice

This is a masterpiece. Definitely one of thise ICONIC fragrances. The jasmine and ylang ylang mix so well. It PROJECTS like crazy. Its a head turner

Rich and creamy white florals. The musky amber base is divine. Leans oriental and smells so sophisticated. Love it.
