Musc Noir For Her

One of the Best Day, Office, "My Skin But Better" Scents I recently purchased some samples of many different perfumes and also added a sample of Musc Noir For Her by NR, one of the very few Narciso perfumes I hadn't smelled, and yes, I like this one as well. It is a "my skin but better" fragrance, a "no-perfume perfume". It is by far the most toned down from the For Her collection, it has a fruitness from the plum in the opening, but not juicy-like, but jam plum after some minutes it becomes very slightly flowery and vanilla-y with the slightest touch of almonds and after an hour or two it settles down in the most gorgeous skin-like powdery, creamy musk with suede. If someone wants a clean perfume without the soapy/deodorant/shampoo feeling you are here. I have seen people complain about longevity, but I don't think it's the issue here. Personally, I could still smell it for a solid 7-8 hours after I sprayed it on myself, BUT the sillage is very very intimate. VERY intimate, put your nose on my skin intimate, I could smell it on me, but people around me didn't give it any thought except if they were extremely close to the point of touching me. And this is where Noir comes into play I think. When I first sprayed it on I was so confused with the name Noir, that inclines you towards a darker/ night perfume and this ain't it, but it is an intercourse perfume for sure. It smells so good and so clean and skin-likecreamy powder, but also sweet and slightly fruity, that if you are intimate with someone it will be detectable and they will enjoy it. It is Noir because it's perfect for personal night activities, not for a night out and the bottle/color I think supports that, white/rosy/nude, undetectable and sleek. Loved it, my favorite from the For Her line, I am thinking of a bigger bottle. Not for people who want statement perfumes, perfumes that cling and perfumes with sillage.

I was very hesitant to try the NR perfumes for the longest time because modern musky perfumes seemed to give me headaches. I've smelt them off paper strips and had never been keen enough to try them on skin but somehow decided to give Musc Noir and Musc Noir Rose a go because of the latter's hype. I had each one sprayed on the insides of my elbow and went about my day. At the end of the day plus a sweaty ballet class, MN triumphed and gave me a "my skin but better" kind of vibe. I've looked for this in Glossier's You but it's never really felt like "me". Maybe it was being in ballet gear - the standard leather and suede of ballet shoes and amber/powderiness of the rosin - but it was perfect. It probably helps that I love heliotrope notes in perfumes too. Between the two, the rose flanker felt too commercial and honestly forgettable. With all the hype it gets on social media as well, it's probably permeating the streets more often than I realise. I sat on Musc Noir for a few weeks because I already have a musky perfume in Santa Maria Novella's Muschio Oro but that one smells incredibly soapy and seems to only work best in certain weathers. But I found myself pondering over getting a full bottle and eventually took the dive. I also received a free sample of Pure Musc together with the full bottle but that opens a lot sharper and gives me a headache. The drydown for that smells too much like laundry detergent. Uncomplicated, cosy and pretty easy to wear for a dressed-down day where I'm not in the mood for a loud perfume. I really like Musc Noir a lot more than I'd initially anticipated and would recommend this to people who are looking for skin scents that don't come off like deodorant smells (fresh, citrusy, watery florals, etc.).

When I was 30, about 20 years ago, I was in Germany I think on a stopover and it was the the first time I tested the Narciso Rodriguez perfume, the original. And it was different and gorgeous and I bought it. And it's still special to me. I have gone through my ups and downs, Lovely by SJP is a dupe, and in 2021 I bought this one, Musc Noir Rose for Her, and I still cherish my large bottle, its as beautiful as the day I got it, and it's deep and sexy, soft and powdery, strong and consistent, it melds with the skin like a musk should but it's not going to be shaped. Its DNA is distinctive and strong and able to be layered. There is a comfort, and a sophistication and the DNA imprints on your mind and your psyche and it's comforting. But this musk - musc - is the original to me. Narciso Rodriguez is so beautiful and well done and it's just a bit more fine tuned than the others and for someone who's sensitive to all the notes, from all the angles and all the stages of a perfume as it melds with my nose, and my skin, and the moment in time - this scent is beautiful, feminine and complex. It's like the face of a gorgeous sleek cat - I don't want to name drop - but how beautiful Christy Turlington's face is? Like that. What I mean to say is - comforting, and gorgeous, symmetrical and deep. I have to be VERY careful and mist this perfume sparingly. The longevity for me is almost eternal, I can smell it on me the next morning. Also, for me, the silage is long. I can smell it on me, so I have to be careful not to overspray this one. Or layer it, since for me even though the scent is delicate and "soft", it's very "strong". It's persistent.

i finally got this after craving it from afar for a couple of years, after finding it for a great but not too good to be true price online. I love the NR musk and i love heliotrope, and it really is a great as I'd pictured. A surprising amount of depth and brightness from these simple, potentially heavy notes. The plum isn't overly sweet, it's got just a bit of tartness, and the suede is powdery and warm without going full-leather or too literal. The musk is of course the rich, chewy, slightly sweet, clean-yet-not NR musk, and it pairs very well with the similarly rich cherry-vanilla fuzziness of the heliotrope. edit: the longevity is phenomenal! lasts something like 12+ hours on my skin, and i noticed i could still smell the mostly full drydown on my sweater a few days later. It's impressive! but I also now approach with a very light hand so that '5 hours from now' me doesn't get fatigued. Also, i believe the reason so many people think of 'bathroom cleaner' is the powdery cherry-almond aspect of the heliotrope. unfortunately that industrial pink soap they use in so many public restroom dispensers and gyms, as a cleaner etc, at least in the US, is also (cheaply) cherry almond scented. I've noticed this comment popping up on a lot of heliotrope heavy scents. If you're able to shift that association probably depends on how deeply implanted it is in your memory, and on how nice the heliotrope perfume is lol

I passed over this one for a long time and I'm not sure why. It's absolutely stunning. Sensual, feminine and mysterious, all while being soft about it, not loud. The ultimate 'your skin but better' scent, without the screechy notes I've noticed in others. From the beginning this starts off quite musk-forward (very similar to Narciso's Pure Musk) rounded out with plum and some florals. As it warms up on the skin, it becomes softer, warmer and more complex. It blends with your natural scent and gives off the most *beautiful* sillage - people will wonder why you smell so good, but not know what it is. Longevity is great - I applied at 9 am and by 5 pm (leaving work), I could still smell it quite clearly on my wrist. This would make an excellent signature scent, and I can see it working for pretty much all seasons apart from the hottest days of summer. The mid temperatures of spring and fall are likely the times of the year when the scent would work best (I've noticed Narciso's perfumes work best on my skin during those seasons). Of course anyone can wear this, but I see this working best on a woman between the ages of 30 and 40, who is kind but holds her ground, intelligent, with a tad of mystery to her. My partner is quite picky when it comes to scents, and he said he liked this one quite a bit. I may just have to add this one to my collection :)

This scent is just divine. This is not similar to the original For Her EDP, it's different but equally good! The original for her is like a soft powdery pink rose musk scent. Musc Noir on my skin gives me creamy white florals mixed with a polite + mild plum note to give it character. For those who are cautious of leather notes, don't be afraid of this fragrance, it is not that. The plum mixes with very soft background notes of suede + white cedar. Not animalic at all, just adds to the roundness of the perfume. This is just another well put together narciso fragrance. It does not have great lasting power compared to the original For Her EDP, however it's light enough that you could probably spray it all over yourself and drown in it's deliciousness and it wouldn't be too much. I am in Australia and it's summer time and I think this fragrance is just what I was looking for when I was trying to avoid the stereotypical citrus based summer fragrances. I like this fragrance so much that even its linear quality is not too much of a downer. I am curious to see if this would hold more or change at all in combination with Pure Musc as suggested by the perfumers. First tried this from a store, from a tester bottle and the longevity was creaaaaazy. Literally lasted all day, through the heat, even after multiple hand washing and showering. It was really intense in longevity, although the scent itself is very demure. Today I got a seemingly used bottle, a tester bottle, bought because it was cheaper from a guy who used to sell perfumes and had a stash of testers. Upon spraying it does smell the same like the one from the store but the longevity is different. It disappeared half an hour after spraying and could be felt briefly and in waves. I wonder if maceration is a thing that will prolong the performance. Any way I just sprayed it and the opening has some sort of uric note, not sure if I'm imagining or it's a weird chemical reaction with something on my skin (fresh out of the shower). There's instances where a scent would be weak when I first get it and becomes stronger with time so I suspect this will be the same story. Overall, this scent is very sensual and sexy while at the same time being extremely professional and classic. Can be worn on all occasions and is a perfect feminine signature scent.

I blind bought this after eyeing it for a while and watching lots of reviews, it sounded like this might the ultra femenine musk I was looking for and because I found such a good deal I couldn't resist. This is vintage but not in an old woman way, but maybe like a powdery way. It is so smooth, but so strong at the same time. It has a small sweet fruity touch from the plum, but it's a very ripe plum. I get why people online kept saying this is so sexy, it's so musky and airy. Three sprays for me are more than enough to last the entire day, to find it in my sweaters days after I've used them and to feel it faintly in my office when I come back to it after a meeting. I never get anosmic to it. Even though I blind bought this, I don't feel is safe to do so, musk feeds on skin chemistry and it could go in so many directions. In my skin this doesn't read like perfume, it's more like my own skin smells yummy. Edit: this might be the best layering fragance ever, given the "your skin but sexier" vibe it gives, I decided to try it with a dupe of valaya I have that I wish it was muskier and the result is my favourite fragance in the entire world.

I was really surprised to not see a spice note in here because there is something spicy in this. It's not quite cinnamon, not quite cardamom, closer to ginger, but if you were to swirl all three of these together and add a tincture to the perfume compiling of 1-2% of the fragrance, that's what I'm smelling from the top. I get all the other notes, a strong plum, a creamy heliotrope, the NR musk, and a really soft, suede note kin to Jo Malone's suede. This seems like a good fall/winter scent but it can be worn year round. It's light and inoffensive, perfect for work, church, meeting the parents. Anytime you want a clean, smooth, light, inoffensive fragrance, this would be a good go-to. At the same time, it's personally satisfying and not boring. I'm loving that spicy note and the suede note the most. It's definitely FB worthy. I bought this and Musc Noir Rose and at first, I liked this way more than Noir Rose until I sprayed them on the skin. MNR needs to be on the skin to be judged fairly. This one smelled fantastic and delightful both on paper and on skin. I get about 5-6 hours of wear with this one with a silage of an arm's length.

Musc Noir opened a new chapter in my fragrance journey. This has been my signature scent for more than a year, and the most complimented one ever. I mostly wore fruity and citrusy scents in my teens, inoffensive florals in my twenties - I used to wear perfumes making sure they did not attract too much attention. Musc Noir isn't a heavy scent either, but it definitely makes an impression on people. Men seem to have an urge to comment on it, as if they had an instinctive reaction to this scent. Ever since I found this one, I've been all for dark, sensual and mysterious fragrances that don't go unnoticed. It is seductive, I like the suede in it, but the floral and fruity notes make it light and clean at the same time. When I wear it, I feel like a moderate and decent woman with a secret dark side. The musk contributes to both the good girl and the bad girl vibe I think. Suitable for the office and date nights, too. Becomes a skin scent on me quickly, however, it lasts longer on my clothes. NR Musc Noir Rose is considered to be the sexier of the two, but I found that too sweet and overbearing, I prefer this one much much more.

My journey with NR Musc noir start on fall 2022, as i bought it with Musc Noir Rose at the same time from Adids Abba duty free-btw it's a very good place to buy authentic designers perfumes and some niche such as Amougae with a price less than Dubai or Doha duty free. For the first month, i was always comparing between the both EDPs, so based the weather started to get cold at this period Musc Noir Rose wins the performance as a winter scent as well in term of longetivity and i found i couldn't small musc noir after 30-60 mins of spraying. Then i knew about a trick from tick tock, to remove the cap of the bottle and put the bottle in a dark place such as my closet. One month after the magic began and this frgrance growing on me even i have finished 2 bottles of 50 ml. It's my first plum fragrance and now i found i am looking for this note at every fragrance composition. As NR EDT was my first love of this collection of her- and i am still using it and restocking it when it finish, but Musc noir - and despite it's "her strength" as per the designer vision- i find it " her tendress and her charming simplicity "

I am on my second bottle of this Fragrance. I was originally going to buy Musc Noir Rose but when I smelled this one I fell in love and changed my mind. This is such a happy fragrance for me and really highlights how sometimes we find a fragrance that evokes a specific memory for us, to me this smells like the memories of my grandma and spending time at her house. She lived in a house that had that musky basementy scent with sweet leathery furniture and would buy plums and dr. pepper for me and my cousin. Now when I taste plum or smell rosary beads it reminds me of her. It is scary how specific and exact this perfume smells for me like the memory of her. The plum, the musk, the leathery suede, the muted rose, it even smells faintly of soda. The major downside to this perfume for me is the longevity, it only lasts about 3 hours on my skin (a tad longer on clothes). Although I'd like to be able to smell like this all the time I don't mind not being able to, there's something beautiful about how fleeting it is and the slight musk it leaves when it's gone. It is very comforting and I enjoy wearing this to sleep.

Sigh....blind buy, on sale at Macy's with a coupon, etc. Received a 3 oz. bottle, a travel bottle and a small lotion for the great price of $62! Wow right? ...ugh, wrong. First, the big bottle doesn't smell like anything! The lotion doesn't say Musc Noir so I'm thinking it's just the OG...and the travel bottle was down about 3/4 of an inch. Travel spray had a tad more ooph than the large bottle but still very faint. I just don't believe NR perfumes are faint so, I think it was either a tester or someone returned it and switched out the lotion. I really don't know but I will say I am disappointed. Buyer beware of a reduced price for sure. I can't submit a fair review of this perfume unfortunately. I hope all of you who got a great bottle -- enjoy the journey! I'm sure it's a stunning perfume just based on the notes and the brand! All my others from NR are gorgeous!!

Musc Noir for Her is a grower. she gives a nice soapy lotion for the first few minutes, then the (very soft) suede kicks in — and that takes a few more minutes to settle in bc suede is just kind of like that, in my experience. honorable mention for the Poison-esque plum moment near the beginning — and the musky suede Cashmere-Mist drydown (but a much quieter suede than CM). but the heliotrope is what really makes her special. just when you think she’s gone, you start catching whiffs of an unexpected almond-y SOMETHING which is enough to make you drool. calling this “Cashmere Mist but make it purple” is not the dis it sounds like. i like this a lot. she’s the most subtle, quiet Narciso Rodriguez i’ve tried, but she has her place. <3 musical accompaniment: “Pporappippam” by Sunmi 보라빛 밤 pporappippam = purple shining night /current edp

I personally love this scent, I really did not expect the plum element but I think it really boosts the fragrance. I find that when I layer this perfume with another white musk body mist or lotion it becomes really prominent, whenever I do this combo I always get TONS of compliments from both genders. I've also found that if you apply baby oil as "body oil" before spraying your perfumes they will stick to you like crazy making the scent last forever, sometimes I can still smell it on me after a shower! I will admit when I first got the perfume I was a little overwhelmed because of how strong it is, and the first spray did smell a little like alcohol to me however after a couple sprays that went away. Overall, I love this perfume, its become one of my favourites, and is a great value for your money :)

Not much into musk scents so I wouldn't normally buy this. But, because I got a sample I put it on randomly and I just initially thought the first spray was floral and citrusy. I was out the whole day and I kept thinking what was that smell, it's just so good? It's musky in a non-offensive way and it's got this nice powdery dry down to it. The kind of powdery smell I wanted (sadly, I bought Poudre' because of this but it was too cloying for me). It sat well on my skin and as I've said I kept asking what perfume sample did I try on that day because I could smell myself so longevity was not a problem. It's lovely and elegant. Safe to wear to the office or to a date to a park (and you want to smell just right - not too overpowering and not too floral that you could pass off as one of the flower beds)

When I first got this I thought that it smelled like nail polish remover. I've been testing it on and off for about a week now and I am absolutely in love. There is no longer any strong alcohol scent present (must have just had to clear the sprayer out a few times :) ) and on my skin it develops into a an extremely warm and musky leathery plum. All the notes come across beautifully and mesh very well together. It truly exudes sensuality. The longevity and silage are not powerful, which I think is the point of this fragrance; I was looking for a musky and softer skin-scent for more intimate occasions and this is my dream. :) edit: This turns UBER SWEET on my skin. Like barely any musk unfortunately =( it's still a beautiful and absolutely warm 'your skin but better' scent on me, just super sugary.

I'm so happy that I let this bottle sit another year instead of re homing it. Last year it was a light pleasant scent, mostly suede & musk and totally didn't find Noir appropriate in the name at all. Well NOW it's definitely accurate naming. The musk and suede have calmed down and taken the back seat and I get BIG SYRUPY SWEET PLUMS & heliotrope which is what I wanted so badly first time around. Give her a chance if you were searching for a lovely dark plum sweet but grown up fragrance. Let her age another year or so and omg so beautiful 😍 so so happy with this fragrance. Layers great with Boss Alive (light plum, cinnamon scent)! Definitely prefer this over the Rose flanker that smells like old lady and black pepper to my nose.. currently testing longevity will update

{♛}Welcome to my blog Now loading. . . This is "The Office Siren" if she was a perfume. Clean but not boring. Approachable but unapproachable. Sensual and classy. A perfect blend of femininity and control. The sweetness of the plum and the strong aroma of the musk create the perfect clean but not too clean fragrance that many feminine fresh fragrances seem to fail while trying to make it interesting. But sadly she fails in the longevity department, thinking of making her last longer using the 40 body cream from SDJ since both of them are giving this musky powdery plum action. She's still so unique and lovely, glad my mom din't like this perfume and gave it to me. Will repurchase along side her intense version that came in lately. 🖤💋

Absolute favorite for the last three years for me. Have been complimented so many times by both women and men, and have been asked what perfume am I wearing by random girls/women on the street at least five times. Such a signature fragrance for me; it's both floral and leathery, not really that sweet despite the plum, quite sensual and feminine, both office and date-night friendly at the same time. Very memorable scent that is being associated with me by my friends and close ones. The only drawback for me is how fast it's gone, since you need to spray quite a few times to make sure it stays and lasts (at least for me). I've been trying to find a similar scent, maybe a little bit more budget-friendly, but failed so far.

This fragrance has earn its place in my top favourite perfumes! Its so beautiful and comforting. Usually super musky and powdery fragrances are not my favourite type of perfumes but this is an exception. It has sweetness which makes it easy to wear. It has this quality that if a person is wearing this, people dont associate it as ”this person has perfume on”, they just think ”she is really nice smelling person” Thats how i personally experience this scent. Its so effortless and soft. This also reminds me of my childhood, takes me back in those times. I remember using soap that smelled just like this (dont remember the brand) but i remember liking that soap very much because of its comforting and sweet quality.

I bought this in September 2023, and it’s already one of my signature fragrances. Absolutely 5 stars—something I rarely, if ever, give! This scent is refreshing, seductive, delicious, mysterious, and powerful yet soft. I get endless compliments every time I wear this beauty. One of the best parts? The longevity. It lasts so long on me that I can still smell it during my shower the next day. That’s true staying power! Wearing this makes me feel like it encompasses all of me—my confidence, sensuality, and softer side. It’s delicious, and I LOVE it. I just bought my second bottle (even with a third of the first still left) because I couldn’t pass up the sale. Please, never stop producing this masterpiece!

On the search for an autumn fragrance, after discovering how horrid La Vie est Belle Elixir was I decided to buy this blind. I own and love NR's Poudree and have liked two other of his perfumes I've sampled. Although I was a little concerned about the rather simple olfactory structure of Musc Noir, my fears were unfounded – it's gorgeous! To me, it's the perfect balance of fruit, flower and musk. Heliotrope is one of my favourites and this is just a lovely, soft, feminine scent, yet with a surprising depth and hint of sultriness: at first, I thought the 'Noir' was a little bit of a misnomer, but it does actually fit and this would see you from day through to night. Highly recommended (as is Poudree).

What grabs me the most is an assured leather note that stands with the quality of those in Shalimar and Dzing!. Except this is yielding, and seems to mould to the body. If you've ever had to fight a case for interiority and then found yourself far away, transported from the original argument and yourself.. A note on longevity: It's a base-heavy perfume. You may not be able to smell it after 30min due to olfactory fatigue from overspraying. MN shimmers with 1-2 sprays (one on wrist or neck, and another on clothes). With a light hand, I smell it on myself at the end of the day, and I have been complimented past the time where it seemed detectable.

I love this! I am not big on musk scents and I usually get this nose ache with other musky perfumes but this one is just perfect, clean, and sophisticated. It dries down to a powdery finish which is the kind of scent I was looking for. I actually bought the full size of Poudre for the powdery notes but I ended up not liking that so much because it felt heavy and it's not something I'd reach for during spring or summer season. This, however, I can still wear any season I guess because of that clean almost green vibes to it. It lasts a bit on my skin. I just noticed as I was about to go home from work that I could still smell it.

I am a bit of a niche snob, with a 50+ perfume collection. But if I was after a designer signature scent, this could well be the front runner! Sure, the longevity and projection leaves much to be desired. But, that softness means you could get away with it for daily wear. Yet, it has a mature, feminine elegance that means you could also wear it out in the evenings. A powdery, clean musk that is both clean and sexy in equal measure. I know everyone lost it for Musc Noir Rose, its sweeter more popular sister, but personally I prefer Musc Noir and its sophisticated scent resonates with me more!

Omg why why WHY??? Why did no one mentioned that the dry down smells like Diptyque Fleur de Peau??!!!! FDP is my ultimate favourite perfume and Musc Noir my 2nd. They smell soooo similar once they hit their dry down!!! A musky powdery airy sweet scent !!! I used to love Musc Noir Rose but Musc Noir is do much better!!! It’s fresh, seductive, feminine and sweet! It’s the best from NR !! I wish it lasted a bit longer. I’m going to buy a 100ml bottle and macerate it for a year!! If you like the cotton candy, powdery musky dry down of FDP then get this and layer them together!!

Omg, it`s one of the sexiest perfumes(to my nose) I`ve ever smelled! I had tried it back in spring and only bought it yesterday. I wasn`t sure whether I should buy Musc Noir Rose, as it`s more popular, or this one. MNR seems to have better longevity. But MN is calmer and cozier, and not that sweet. My female friend said it smells floral. I can`t really pick any notes but to me, it`s a musky fragrance. It makes me want to wear it and go on a date with someone special. It lasts about 3-4 hours on my skin but I spray it on my hair and clothes for better performance

This perfume is magic! It's the only Narciso Rodriguez perfume I can say I'm completely in love with. It's delicate, crystalline... For my taste, it has just the right projection. When I read reviews saying it doesn't last, it surprises me; I think that has a lot to do with each person's ability to perceive subtleties. I can smell it on myself all day long. However, it doesn't have a kilometric projection, so if you're looking for that type of perfume, you better forget about this one. It will enchant those who want to impress people within a meter's distance.

Sweet jammy plums backed up by a heavy creamy musk and a touch of suede. I don't get the other notes.. maybe a small hint of 🌹 rose in the background. It's a simple yet elegant scent. It's light with just a tiny inkling to heaviness. The scent has an intoxicating vibe and I love that about it. Layer this with any Delina and you will cook.🔥 I imagine Eiza Gonzalez in a black evening short dress and black stilettos in this. I am a gent FYI. Take 2: There's definitely something vanillic in there and my feelings haven't changed at all. Super elegant scent.

Bought this back in January of this year. Wasn't impressed. HOWEVER, I decided to give it another try now that it's warmer and has had a few months to adapt to the dry high desert climate, and it's like a different fragrance! I love it. The transformation is incredible! Maybe it just needed time.... Whatever magic took place, it's just stunning now. Glad I found the patience to see if we would become friends. Yep. Besties. Love it. FYI -- I can see the Poison resemblance now too. It's a very light comforting nuance of the original Poison....fabulous!

Does anyone else get a smell similar to the children's book "Pat the Bunny" where you scratch and sniff the flowers? Lol The scent they use for the books has probably changed over the years. The one I'm remembering is from the 90's. Very nostalgic, I love it. UPDATE: I didn't realize how much I loved this until I used up my sample and nothing else on the shelf satisfied the same scent craving. I ended up buying a full bottle. It is wonderful on its own but also layers well with many other scents. Musc Noir + Glossier You = Heaven

GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS!!!! It smells soo clean with a hint of sweetness from plum and it is also very mysterious in its own way. Very unique and definitely a signature perfume. Rose version is the femme fatale sister. Daily wear friendly and it lasts very long on my clothes. I wish I bought 100ml instead of 50. I am IN LOVE. (my perfume taste is very far away from gourmands and vanilla caramel etc. I like musk so much and I prefer florals and I hate candy sweetness if that gives you a hint of my taste in perfumes in general!)

My boyfriend doesn't like this one and I'm actually offended. This was a blind buy and at first I thought it was ok and nothing special, but after a few months I came back to it and something just clicked. It's so elegant, powdery, sweet, but not too heavy and just very simple in a good way. I'm very close to finishing my bottle and would love to buy it again, but unfortunately it is quite expensive and for the price it doesn't really last that long on me. Update: He loves it now, he was just being silly I guess.

Cozy and plummy, extremely comforting and enveloping, it has the texture of fuzzy velvet and suede. It smells rich but never cloying; it's sensorial and tactile, a different kind of sensuality. On my skin, it's a skin-but-better scent, utterly feminine. I don't get any of the aforementioned diaper or poop notes—it's mostly a soft, clean animalic musk, and powdery, and it even reminds me of Violette pastilles. This is the kind of clean that I am into, with depth and complexity.

Smells of ripe, sweet musky plum! So so beautiful 😍😍😍 I wish they made an extrait of this, or something with stronger projection as I find myself reapplying this several times during the day. Definately recommend this as the safest blind out out of all Narciso Rodriguez perfumes. (Though my personal favorite is Rouge, the red cube). But this comes in 2nd because what it lacks in performance it makes up in deliciousness. Like a sweet musky cloud that makes you feel good.

I like this better than NR for her. It was one of the first designer fragrance I bought from a travel spray I had purchase from a sample site. It is a gorgeous musk that isn't too overpowering. I love musk scents, but sometimes am nose blind to it as I think everyone should love it as much as I do, but this scent is a softer musk that I can wear and not feel overpowering. It is sensual and sexy and perfect for when you just want to feel sexy.

Oh, you gorgeous little thing! I fell in love with this perfume immediately. I must say, I'm impressed by how amazing all of Narciso's fragrances are. Musc Noir is a wonderful musky, powdery plum that really does have that tamed-down Poison vibe. Retro and modern at the same time. Makes me think of a quiet and sophisticated woman who has a bad-girl side too. It doesn't last super long, but the scent itself is totally worth it.

This smells like fur to me. Fur rug, fur collar, fur coat. And clean skin. And some black lacy "thingies" on it, underneath the luxurious silky fur coat - you know, the ones that will fly out of sight pretty darn soon. That kind if night. Hot. This is the opening phase, lasts for half an hour or so. An then, all of a sudden, before you know it, it's Sunday morning - soft white sheets and sunshine. Pancakes.

I love this fragrance. . . something about it feels very "every day wear." I love to layer it with blanche bete which bumps up the sweetness/creaminess. I like this one better than musc noir rose, which I thought I would actually like better than this one. I love rose, but something about this one is just better to me. I really enjoy the suede note. I do not mind that this is not too long-wearing.

This one is such an amazing piece of art. It’s my signature scent and my all time favorite. Can never be replaced with anything!!! I don’t usually like the sweetie notes but this one is also musky and has suede in it. The suede note made it absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this for brides it’s soo attractive, every time i use it they ask me what I’m wearing. Number one for daily use

I much prefer this to its little sister, the viral Musc Noir Rose. I tried Noir Rose first and was briefly obsessed with it. But it was a bit sweeter than I preferred so I decided to try Musc Noir. This scent is like a fuzzy angora sweater. It’s fluffy, soft, comforting. Smells like clean skin, a warm blanket, laying next to your lover. There’s something special about it.

NR, why, why are you doing this to us discontinuing this scent??? 😭😭😭 I love how classy it is, it's a really chic musk. It goes well on a daily basis but it's also a good choice for some light nights. Just bought another bottle, now 100ml that I'll have to cherish as much as possible, because the closer I've smelled is Entre Genres (but less sweet and way more expensive).

Juicy ripe deep plum , and I get smokiness or spiciness here, don’t know what is causing that as if there were clove or anise .The suede comes very strong but it’s so smooth and velvety. This is classy, sensual and unique. It’s one of my absolute favorite fragrances because it can be worn anytime and any season. Projection is moderate but longevity is seriously lacking.

A deliciously soft a feminine fragrance. Firstly, this is migraine safe, for those that suffer from migraines. The plum note gives a nice seductive quality. And the softness of the musk and suede is gorgeous. This isn't a strong fragrance, it's really intimate. And it last about 6 hours on my skin. So it's perfect for my needs and what im looking for. Really stunning.

Not a fan of NR perfumes usually but this one stands out! It has this sweet plumy scent which is unique as I've never smelled something like this before. I can smell myself with it which is a good sign and indicates that others can too. Overall it's a beautiful perfume but I wouldn't say it's a safe blind buy, you should definitely try it out before purchasing.

As much as would love to enjoy edgier scents, I find that in dire need of comfort my soul craves something like this perfume. It feels to me like a white angora cashmere blend sweater gentle to the touch washed with a sweet plum scented conditioner. However I don't enjoy spraying it multiple times, since I prefer to be cosy, not to suffocate while wearing it

I love this scent so much! Addictive sweet syrupy plum and leather, so feminine. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to project and last on my skin, I feel like I need to reapply every 2 hours. If the projection and longevity was better, it could have become a candidate for signature scent. For the above mentioned reasons I don't think I will repurchase, sadly 😢.

One of my favorite fragrances, the deep plum mixed with the suede that’s not too strong, gives it the perfect balance between clean yet still interesting. Like a sexy date night scent, only downside is the poor longevity, even after 6 sprays it stays on for like 2 hours. EDIT: Smelled the rose version of it in store and tbh it might be better than this one!

This is one of my most favourite cosy autumn/winter scents. I wear this when snuggled up by the fire with a good book. Soft yet sensual and ever so slightly witchy with the plum and suede notes. Wish it projected and lasted a little more but maybe that’s part of its charm - a secret scent that only those honoured to get close enough deserve to smell!
