Musc Noir Rose For Her

I bought a travel size of Musc Noir Rose and I am so glad I did. I love the scent, but it's barely there. I feel like there's this game of hide and seek going on with it. One minute it's there and a second later, I can't smell anything then the wind blows and I smell it on the breeze. It's definitely a skin scent on me. I even spritz my clothes and the scent is so faint, it's a suggestion, a hint of perfume. If someone is sensitive to perfumes and wants something super light this would work. As far as the how the perfume smells, it actually quite gorgeous when I can smell it. The first spritz is a pink pepper, fresh spicy rose scent, and then within a minute this gives way to a soft musky rose with a hint of tuberose and touch of freshness, possibly from the bergamot still lingering. The main impression I get in the dry down is a clean, velvety rose and tuberose. I don't get any plum or vanilla in this. Typically, when a perfume has vanilla in it, especially in the base, it last forever on my skin and always seems amplified, but not this one. I wanted to love this perfume, but the performance and the projection are just not there for me. While not smelling exactly alike, I do get Armani Si vibes as well as the original Valentino Donna (not DBIR). They have that rose, vanilla, and velvety texture to it, but both perform better. Hopefully, other people have better experiences with the longevity than I did. Update: It was too addictive so after using up my travel size spray in a week, I bought a full bottle. Now that I have the full bottle, I feel the performance and projection are better. Not exceptional but good enough. It's such as clean lightly sweet fragrance, that has a touch of moodiness. It's a perfect for those looking for a clean musky rose, "your skin but better" scent. It's light, cozy, and very calming, while being a little bit sexy.

She sips slowly, with her coat still on. Each sip echoes the plum and rose on her skin, merging taste and scent into a private ritual of presence and quiet power. The musc is creamy and intimate. It mixes with her skin and blends in beautifully. The scent wraps around her and invites to come closer. He looks away. She draws attention but she is not for everyone, and she is fine with that. Musc Noir Rose is not flirtation. It is control – intended and confident, without the need to be loud. It smells like a woman who has loved, lost and learned – she knows the effect of her presence and does not need confirmation. The perfume settles into her skin as the night deepens, musky and unmistakably hers. Vanilla here works as a support act. It does not need to dominate, it appears soft, just adding another layer to her/its complexity. She wears this as a second skin. A dark signature. Resemblance to reality is purely coincidental 😉 I adore and love this - 10/10

I felt compelled to write a second comment, as Musc Noir Rose has gone from a "like" to a "love" after my initial decant purchase in September! It's apparently a perfume my nose appreciates far more in colder weather. The jammy tartness at the beginning eventually fades into a softer, slightly floral vanilla musk. It's so pretty, flirty.... and strong! Just one spray on my wrist projects like crazy, and it's arguably one of the best performers in my entire collection. While Musc Noir Rose is not the type of scent I'd wear to a business meeting or parent teacher conference (it's a little too noticeable for my personal taste in enclosed public spaces), for example, I don't consider it a nighttime-only scent either. It's a great "pick-me-up" perfume when you simply want to feel pretty and polished, even if you're just at home working, writing holiday cards and taking care of a kid with strep (who told his mom she smells very nice today, nonetheless). ;) Today I paired it with Jergen's Warm Amber body lotion, and the combo is lovely! I also 100% agree with @Seneya's comment below. If you're not the biggest fan of how this smells on yourself at first, odds are those around you will still find it really pleasant. Likewise, if you want a lighter, less intense take on this scent profile, give Mix:Bar's Cloud Musk a try!

Call me crazy, but my nose interprets Musc Noir Rose as being VERY similar to Mix:Bar's Cloud Musk of all things! Imagine a deeper, jammy, vanilla version of that fragrance, perhaps the elixir flanker if it existed.... It's feminine, warm and inviting without being stuffy. I'm not picking up much, if any, tuberose, which is fine as it's a note I generally dislike. I'm also not getting granny vibes at all, as this is far too sweet and juicy for me to associate with elderly wearers. (For reference, I'll be 42 soon.) This may smell more vintage-inspired to younger individuals accustomed to modern vanilla gourmands (I love!) and molecular perfumes (I also love!), but us older individuals that have smelled perfumes from the mid-to-late 1900s will likely not consider this to smell dated by comparison. ** Update 11/26 - I've worn my decant quite a few times since I received it, and there's no doubt in my mind that Cloud Musk is a Narciso Rodriguez dupe, rather than a Glossier You dupe.

First I had the plain Musc noir and as autumn came, I simply loved the warm soft atmosphere. It was always a knitted sweater scent for me. Then I tried the Rose version in a perfumery, and my god, the opening is something amazing! A real realistic plum scent, but the kind that rests on top of a steaming cookie. Meanwhile, a delicate soapy rose scent spices up this fruity mixture. In the drydown, to my regret, these extras disappear and it leaves almost the same soft sweet musky leather scent as the plain Musc noir, but that's okay because I like it too. I have no complaints about its longevity, it doesn't have a huge projection, but it wouldn't fit its profile either, but I think it can be felt for a long time. I wouldn't recommend it for blind purchase either, I think this is typically a scent that isn't for everyone. But for me, this has become my signature scent.

I blind bought this because I love the discontinued Narciso white cube and wanted another NR but strongly dislike anything with powdery notes. I love this one so much, it feels very spring/summer to me, the plum definitely comes through and it’s a bit sweet but is still fresh to me. Musk, woodsy, warmer scents tend to sit well on my skin/body and I love how they smell so anything floral or fruity I prefer a warmer base to something more green, since Covid I can’t really smell “green” notes, they just smell vaguely sharp and biting. This one had me sniffing myself all day long, and is still on the hoodie I wore that day. It’s definitely a “younger” scent I guess you could say, but most seem to see anything fruity and sweeter as young or “fun” rather than “refined.” I like my scents both ways so... do with that what you will. I’m glad my first blind buy did me right!

A review from a rose HATER who bought the second rose perfume willingly in 33 years of my life. I love it! I didn’t expect it. I saw it on a video long time ago but didn’t care for it, as it’s rose, but one day in the perfume isle I saw it & thought let me see what this perfume is all about & I was shocked, I went “wow I like those, okaaaay Narciso Rodriguez, finally a rose I like. It stayed in my wishlist & multiple times I was going to get it, I was afraid I won’t like it to wear it. I bought other perfumes that is in my safe zone but it never left my mind. That one rose perfume that I’d wear on a night out AND a date night! I pulled the plug & got in 30mL to go slow & test it, IM SO GLAD I DID!!! This is a sexy, mysterious a bit dark rose perfectly fit for a sexy night out! Especially having tuberose with it?? YES PLEASE!🤩

I tried Musc Noir and Musc Nude at the mall and fell in love with both. I blind bought this since it was on sale and seemed to have similar notes to those two (and I LOVE rose!). I don't own the other two, but I like the plum note in the Musc Noir much better than in Musc Noir Rose, so I think next time I'll get that. I think I like the musky-vanilla more in MNR than Musc Nude though. I do go nose blind to this scent on my skin, likely due to the musk notes. However, I did one spay on a cotton pad and smelled it in my room for days! Unfortunately I don't get a ton of rose, but it's still sexy and lovely. I find it gets a bit sweater and creamier on the dry down, but not overly so (I don't like gourmand vanillas). I find I like MNR the more I wear it, so I'm excited to be wearing it more on spring nights.

I don’t know if all of the Narciso line is like this but upon spray and the first hour maybe at most I can smell the scent and after that it’s a barley there skin scent. I mean barely. This is the only one of this line or this designer that i have and i adore the boozy plummy sort of scent but the fact that it is indeed a musk, means its going to be a barley there light one. So for those who love strong bold scents like I do, keep that in mind. It opens like something that would be strong and bold but dries down to a whisper of that same scent. A plum rose boozy scented baby powder. With that said, I just received a compliment, like right now at work, from a male coworker. 🤣 I’m more than 1/3 through this bottle and I did overspray as I always do and I’m glad I have a back up.

Man reviewing here. I just bought this for my wife as her birthday present (34 y/o). The sales lady insisted this is the best of the Narciso line, and suggested that I should spray it on my arm. I'm so glad I did! I found the opening to be a bit too heavy on the rose, but it slowly started to fade , giving way to a much smoother ensemble of rose, tuberose, musk and vanilla. This is absolutely intoxicating, I can't stop smelling it off my arm! This is a very sophisticated and elegant perfume, ideal for special occasions, dates, and chilly weather. It does not give old fashioned rosey/musky vibes, but it's very contemporary and well done. A hidden gem, in my opinion, and it just put the Narciso Rodriguez house on my radar for the very first time. a 10/10.

I just got 50 ml and I have to say I am really enjoying this. The pink pepper will catch you by surprise the first few times you try this, but then you will get used to the initial spray. This is truly a lovely scent. The plum, which is repulsive for me in fragrances like Olympea legend, is truly soft and welcoming. And oh my god the vanilla in the dry down is very warm, soft and sensual. The only downfall for this perfume is the longevity. I am halfway through my 50 ml bottle and I just got it like few weeks ago. I have to save this to see how it performs in the summer heat, but I truly can’t get enough of it lol. Wish it lasted longer on me and didn’t have to use 59 sprays. Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 3/10 Projection: 3.5/10

Gorgeous perfume, this reminds me a tiny bit of La Perla Possibilities but I prefer Musc Noir Rose a million times, also, better and best value. This is very jammy on me, I barely get any musk, which is ok, not mad about it, vanilla and plum really stand out on my skin. This makes me feel elegant but casual at the same time. Im ok wearing this to work and/or for a date to the symphony. I’m turning 40 in 2 months and this is the perfume that currently best represents my lifestyle. This has become my signature scent, there is no day that I’ve considered not wearing this, pretty much any outfit craves this perfume. I may not have my life perfectly put together but this perfume sure helps me feel powerful and beautiful ♥️

For all the people saying it smells like a grandma- yea it kinda does but in the best way possible. More like the most classy grandma who doesn’t wear the typical old fashioned eye watering floral aldehydic fragrances. This grandma wears designer fashion only and used to work for a fashion magazine in New York before she retired. Think Miranda Priestly, Devil wears Prada. Upon first sniff I was a bit confused that this is what everyone was raving about. I thought, oh heck no. Put it away and waited a couple weeks. Sniffed again and fell in love, I immediately realized what the hype was about. Feminine, nostalgic, comforting and classy. Just so good, if you tried it and hated it the first time- just try it again.

I’m writing this review as a spell of preservation. I’m the Grim Reaper of fragrances - everything I love gets discontinued. So for the sake of Musc Noir Rose’s survival, I’m here to say: I hate this perfume. I hate how the pear‐blush opening is pink‐lit, soft, and dewy, how it feels like morning light. I hate how it smells like warm skin after a shower. I hate how the rose breathes instead of blooms. I hate how the musk melts into my skin like a memory. I hate how the vanilla‐amber dry‐down makes me feel like I’m glowing from the inside. I hate how it lingers like a whisper. If I loved it openly, Narciso would discontinue it by Tuesday. I hate it, so that it may live. ♥

I didn’t like this when I first got it. It smelled weird & dusty. I love it now 😆 I sprayed it on a whim one day when I was just doing things around the house. I kept getting whiffs of a slightly sweet, rosey vanilla with a hint of something fruity; it’s a dark sweetness. Not sugary or edible. A floral muskiness. Not powdery & is perfect for the fall season specifically. This is a mature fragrance, but in no way is it “old lady” smelling. This smells like quiet, feminine elegance. In my personal opinion, I think this fragrance suits women in their 30s & up. I like to pair this will “Decadent Plum” lotion from Victorias Secret. They compliment each other nicely.

I got this two years ago and it smelled great but the performance was terrible. Only lasted about 1-2 hours with 4-5 sprays. It went to the back of the shelf sadly. But now I mistakenly picked it up to make space for a new fragrance and decided to give it a sniff. The bottle cap was wet with the juice so I rubbed it on my top. I just you not this small drop was oozing out at me the entire time I spent at the gym. It’s been 5 hours and I can’t get enough!!! I completely forgot why I bought it until today. Sexy, jammy rose, fruity and playful with a sultry edge. I guess maceration does help longevity with this one - it’s returned to being my night signature scent

I bought this for my girlfriend for this coming Christmas 2025 and I can’t wait to smell it on her. I hope she’s not upset because I’ve been wearing it in anticipation and there is a little dent already. I like the opening but I’m in love with the dry down. Very sexy for everyday or even date night in any season or situation. This Sonia Constant gem is what I feel like a woman over 30 should use to attract men and uplift her mood as it makes me stop in my tracks for sure and being in a great mood is the most attractive attribute in my eyes. It’s a sappy, sexy, jammy potion. Update: This is the sexiest fragrance on my girlfriend for date night. No joke

Delicious and utterly feminine, Musc Noir Rose For Her is a much more romantic interpretation of Musc Noir. It is seductive, spicy, and warm, with a velvety softness that clings to the skin . At first spray, both perfumes smell almost identical, with a blast of plummy, fruity sweetness. Then the jammy rose unfolds, deepening the sweetness into something richer and more intoxicating. On my skin, I find it more subtle than the original, but still hefty and seductive , a whisper rather than a shout, yet impossible to ignore. As many have pointed out, it is a true compliment getter, leaving a trail that invites others to lean in closer.

I've bought and resold perfume from my collection over the last year. I have a nice collection now that I'm finally pretty satisfied with. It wasn't until recently I got into the Narciso house and blind bought this one because of the reviews and the scent notes. NO REGRETS, THIS ONE IS MY GIRL. I could wear this one everyday. She is sexy, soft, sensual; i love her. I can understand how this might invoke some headaches because it is musky and it may not be office friendly (if you should really layer this on). I later got Musc Nior but that was too light so I resold it. The musc rose is wonderful and she's my number 1.

The plum–musk interplay creates an elegant, ultra-feminine aura with a soft 90s character. The sillage is moderate and close to the skin, with a longevity of around 3–4 hours. Gentle but present. Ideal for the office, daytime wear, or even casual dates a beautifully wearable fragrance at any age.

I truly fell in love with this perfume. It wears so beautifully on the skin and wafts so elegantly in the air. It is freshening with the clean musc yet deep and mysterious in rose. 🫧 It makes me feel mature, classy, and feminine as a 19 year old female wearing this.💓 My only problem with this fragrance is that it does not project as much as I wish it could. I find myself having to heavily overspray this fragrance.... which is not cheap!💸 I’ve made a significant dent and I’m afraid I might have to move on to a substituting fragrance which can perform better as I may not be able to keep up with this.🫣

This is an everyday easy reach for me and I absolutely adore this fragrance, it’s wonderful for Autumn and Wintertime but it works in all seasons! It’s feminine, warm and cozy but still sexy and clean and not too sweet, it’s classy, it’s exquisite and I adore this gem. All I get is musk, plum, sweet rose and the vanilla dry down is just perfection. The longevity and throw is amazing and I am ordering the big bottle definitely. 10/10 it’s a safe blind buy for mum, sister, aunty, wife and girlfriend but fragrance has no gender. 🩷

Blindly bought on a total whim ... I saw the notes and said YESSS! the Pink Pepper, Tuberose and Vanilla notes drew me in and I am not disappointed. It wasn't what I was expecting, but its amazing nonetheless, its soft, cozy, sits close to the skin, definitely gym appropriate.. Don't come at me for the gym comment, everyone wears perfume and cologne to the gym, girls show up in full glam makeup, so it's normal where I am. It's perfect and not overpowering. It's a beautiful rosy, musky, soft perfume, I will be re-purchasing.

This perfume is pure seduction in a bottle. I'm not too into the others perfumes in Narciso Rodriguez's "for her" line, but this one smells totally different to my nose. Such a juicy, spicy and almost jam-like rose accord which lasts eternally on my skin. It also reminds me of a typical feminine arabic scent profile which I am a huge fan of. I would definitely recommend trying this on your skin a couple of times before buying, as many friends of mine have experienced it turning a little bitter or sour on their skin.

Beautiful perfume that i had on my wishlist for 2-3 years when i got a sample. Found it at winners for 89.00 canadian and i had to get the 100ml. It's a spicy, slighty rosey, beautiful plum fragrance, I don't smell dust or mothball or anything else. On skin it lasts me a solid 4-6 hours, on clothes it lasts weeks! I absolutely adore this scent. And meanwhile it does have a darker little bit masc leaning vibe, I think it makes it a great fragrance for the fall/winter months. I will absolutely get another bottle.

People always compliment me and ask me what i’m wearing when i use this. It smells so delicious and sexy. It’s a soft rosy sweet musk but it’s not a dated scent. My boyfriend who is sensitive to smells really likes this one on me. I find it lasts a long time on my clothing and skin- i can smell it on my jacket the next day after wearing it. Starts with a soft musky plum followed by a sweet supple rose and sprinkled with vanilla and warmth. I love this scent especially in the winter.

To those calling Musc Rose Noir "a grandma scent": No. Just no. This isn't a powdery aldehyde bomb from 1954 - it's a sensual, velvety, rose-musk elixir designed for women who aren't afraid of subtlety and sensuality. If you're nose-blind to elegance and mistake everything without marshmallows and sugar for "old lady", maybe the issue isn't the perfume. This scent whispers. It doesn't shout. It lingers. It seduces. If that reads "grandma" to you - then damn, your grandma is iconic.

This is my new signature scent! It has everything I look for in a perfume, the opening is slightly spicy due to the pepper (it makes it more interesting) but it quickly subsides leaving this addicting accord of vanilla and musk. Rose is one of my favourite notes so I might be a bit biased but this perfume is a bomb. Sweet but with character, NOT headache inducing, I really can’t stop smelling myself. Could be a safe blind buy but I always recommend trying it on your skin!

Qualquer produto com essa fragrância facilmente estaria na minha wishlist: creme corporal, sabonete, perfume de cabelo, amaciante, vela, incenso. Ele é maravilhoso! O único defeito é que ele tem baixa durabilidade e não exala tanto. Meu sonho era ele projetar mais e durar mais.

Unsure what to write except that I love love love this. Sexy, womanly, intelligent, somehow thoughtful, deep, plummy, sweet but not saccharine musky plummy rose. My husband loves it. I love it. My eldest son gave me an immediate compliment the first time I wore it. I regularly wish I were wearing this in lieu of whatever other fragrance I’ve donned that day. It feels like me. And clearly like many others. But if so, there’s hope for humanity no? A*.

What a beauty ! To me this perfume is like a cashmere blanket. So smooth and feminine. You can smell a pretty fruitiness and slight spicy scent in the opening. But on my skin it quickly becomes a lovely dance between the musk and vanilla. It is simply mesmerizing. The sillage is moderate, but the longevity is really good. I put it in the morning and i can still smell it clearly until I shower at night. This makes it a solid everyday perfume !

This perfume is lovely. After you spray it, you can smell the plum. The plum is juicy and such a sexy plum. This plum scent lasts for a good 8 hours on me. The flowers are there as supportive notes. I love plum perfumes because they are so elegant, on that note, this perfume is not a signature scent. It is an elegant perfume to use only in special occasions. It reminds me Decadence by Mark Jacobs another elegant and beautiful plum scent.

This scent is just gorgeous. It's true to the name Musc Rose Noir. It's a beautiful rose musk scent that has a darker, evening feel due to the plum and vanilla notes. It's a warm, grown up, classy and sophisticated, but still sexy rose fragrance that lingers softly in the air. And judging from the compliments I've received when wearing it, it's quite well received by the gentlemen. For me, this one's a keeper.

This on a woman is just... <3 If you've ever wanted to completely intoxicate a man this is the one to do it. Coming from a fraghead,... who obviously is gonna wear his own cologne. This scent just overpowers mine and leaves me captivated by her scent. I would compare it to the strength of sauvages ambrox the musk is just that strong. You will get compliments, just depends on if you can handle the smell.

Shit! Straight banger! Another Curly Scent recomendation gone better than expected. First was Crystal Noir Edt. Bought that for 5 different women in my life, and most of the guys I know have gotten there ladies a bottle. Both so good, I bought them as a man to enjoy for myself. Super sexy fragrances on a lady. Every special lady in my life will receive these 2 perfumes till they are not made anymore.

Elegant, sensual, and addictive! There’s a reason this fragrance is so popular. It opens with a rich, juicy plum note that immediately draws you in, then settles into a warm blend of musky vanilla on the skin. The rose isn't overly prominent, but it lingers softly in the background. For me, it’s the perfect scent for autumn/winter, or evening wear, but it can be worn anytime if sprayed lightly.

This is a very gentle and touching fragrance and I love it. It's feminine and not overly sweet, and really sexy. I keep getting back to it and almost consider buying a bottle for myself. I'm not sure if it can be unisex, but maybe if I layer it with one of my airy masculine scents. 10/10 and the longevity is really good too, even though it doesn't project much so it's definitely a date scent.

A lovely scent at a pretty decent price. A good signiture scent that can be worn in almost any occassion. I have been complimented on it multiple times, typically by other women my age and older (30s). A classy scent that doesn't seem dated. The juicy plum opening and vanilla base give sweetness to the musk and rose without seeming too juvenile. Definitly one of my go to scents.

I absolutely love NR for her line and this scent is maybe my fav. I have yet to find a scent by NR that I don’t like, but upon first spray, it was love with Musc Rose. It’s the perfect balance of rose and musk, and I can’t stop sniffing it. Might be my new favorite scent, and I will wear it anytime at any occasion because I wear scents for me.

Sexiest perfume out there in my opinion. Its versatile, and not too over the top, not trying too hard, chic, effortless. It doesnt shout, it whispers sultrily in the air, clinging onto your natural skin scent, leaving a quiet and sweet musk bubble. Soo seductive and spicy, yet still jammy from the plum. She will be a staple in my collection.

This scent ticks all the boxs for me. It's feminine, delicate, not too floral, not too fruity. I get musk sticks with a beautiful creamy base and just a touch of rose. Just beautiful. Longevity is good, I can smell it for a good 6 hour on my clothes, less on the skin. Projection is subtle. Great everyday scent.

At first spray, straight out of the box, this is gorgeous. I smell almost all of the notes and can tell that this is going to be a gorgeous everyday perfume that will wear well for work. I will update once it macerates and I have had it for a bit on the longevity and sillage as well.

This perfume is really beautiful. It has an impressive performance 7-8 hrs. Gives me slightly vintage balsamic vibes. Rumor of Rose... Pretty easy-reach in cooler months. Smells comforting but is also something I'd wear for a first date. I'm picky but this is a favorite.

I don't know how I missed this beauty, but finally I came across it last week and instantly thought of the discontinued Gucci by Gucci. It is not the same, yet reminds of it highly. In love with this, but first would like to test the longevity.

I understand why people love this so much! Pretty pink pepper and plum opening, soft musky rose heart, and a comforting vanilla dry down. This has date night written all over it! After testing this out I got a bottle as soon as I could. Get it!

I love the scent, it's quite feminine and classy. It would've become a signature scent for me if it wasn't SO weak. Longevity is somewhat fine - 4-5 hours, but the sillage is soooo weak. I love strong scents and this one definitely isn't.

Plum and musk are the main notes I get. I get no smell of patch at all as others seem to do. I really like this fragrance and find it very soothing. Longevity on me is quite good, better than I expected after reading the other reviews.

Omg! I love this perfume. The dry down gives off a sophisticated fruity scent (for me it reminds me of fruity-berry fizzy drinks with a dash of vanilla and peppers) and it’s really good for any occasions. Very dark feminine.
